My first time on a sailboat definitely will not be my last. The crew was so friendly and informative. You can chill and enjoy cruising the Sound or ask as many questions as you like to learn about Seattle, sailboats, marine traffic, or sailing in general. It’s like a leisurely boat ride among friends with gorgeous views. I absolutely LOVED this trip. It was a major highlight.

This was a fantastic activity for seeing Seattle from a different viewpoint! I was contacted in advance to work out a different option for my trip because I was the only one scheduled for my selection. No problem! I had multiple choices for the same day. On board, the boat was clean and well organized. The crew were friendly to guests and each other. We asked a ton of questions, which they answered in ways that showed their passion for sailing and their commitment to appropriate training. I was most impressed with the work of Zoe, our deck hand! There are plenty of food and drink options to buy near the meeting point. Also bring a jacket so you can stay comfortable. Think about how you want to keep your phone safe while you take pictures. We had excellent views of the skyline and of Mt. Rainier. We had room to move around the boat, too.

Our family had a great time! We brought our 6 year old son with us. The staff were very nice. They also have cold bottled water for everyone. You can bring your own food and drinks if you wish to. We will be back for sunset sailing. Thank you, Seattle Sailing!

Awesome afternoon out! Totally lucked out with a private sail with my wife and I. Captain and crew were top notch. Super chill, but knowledgeable. The boat was a beast too! The S&S is an amazing boat. It was a light wind day, but that has no bearing on company, boat, or crew. Good day out!

WOW! AHMazing - highly recommended. Here’s what you need to know. This is a very casual sailing trip. There is no concierge food and beverage unless you bring your own or purchase ahead. Seating is limited and not super comfortable- this is NOT for anyone who doesn’t mind being right next to other strangers. I had never been on a sail boat and it was really great! The crew of 2 was 100% fantastic and worked really hard! We were so impressed by Amy’s skills on the boat! It does get cold…DRESS APPROPRIATELY- there is wind and hopefully you get and awesome keel at 9 knots. MARITIME!!!! Highly highly highly recommend this if you are looking for a great adventure!

Really get sunset sail! You can bring your own food and drinks just bring a large tote or picnic basket. Be sure to dress in layers in the summer. The wind can be strong and cold when sailing further out from the coast. However they offer light blankets upon request. Cheers!

It was our first time on a sailboat, we did sunset sail and we had a blast :) After booking, they made sure to let us know about the potential weather conditions on the water and it was very helpful, since it got colder after sunset. The crew was friendly and would answer any questions for us. The boat had an ice cooler and also a restroom. We were just hoping that they would provide some info on their own (like a guide), but irrespective of that, we had a lot of fun and saw some beautiful views of the sunset and the city. Highly recommended!

I've never been on a sail boat and this experience was so calming and beautiful. The staff was very friendly. The weather was perfect. I was worried my mother wasn't going to comfortable with the seating, but we got a bench near the center of the boat. It was very safe and I enjoyed the views very much. Do it!!!!

You haven't done Seattle until you sail with Sailing Seattle! You'll have the opportunity to view Seattle Skyline, Waterfront, Elliott Bay from a new prospective others have missed! Book your trip early, take a blanket or jacket "it is a sailboat" and enjoy the views!! Thank you Sailing Seattle for the awesome afternoon memories....

I experienced my first sailboat ride, with Sailing Seattle for my bday. It was something I had always wanted to do and I’m so glad that my experience was nothing less than magical. I loved the fact that you were allowed to bring your own drinks and food on board. The staff was super engaging but they allowed for moments of privacy to be able to take the views in and just enjoy the ride. The boat was super spacious and any seat is a “good seat,” really. I will definitely be back and always recommend them to friends who have never experienced Seattle like this before. #Wesailseattle

I highly recommend the sunset sail. You will get the best pictures of Seattle. Crew is fun and accommodating. You can bring your own food and drinks which is great. One tip is bring your jacket. You will need it still during summer sunsets in the Elliot bay.

Since I had my friend who was visiting me in Seattle, I took her on a sailing trip, and we had a great time. It was very cool to be sailing, seeing the water and scenery, and waving at other boats. I think it took about 1 hr in total. Definitely a great experience and a unique way to go around Seattle. Would go on another trip with them again! #WeSailSeattle

Easy reservation, friendly crew and beautiful sailboat. All logistics were on time. Great for large groups, families, couples, tourists and friends. Fabulous photo opportunities. 1.5 hour was great but ready for the 2.5 hour sunset tour now!

What an amazing experience! The Sound is beautiful and the sights on a sunset Cruise are unparalleled. Bring your own wine and charcuterie for the ultimate date, or grab a cooler of beer and make it a friends night or corporate team building event that everyone will still be talking about years later. Enjoy downtown views from a new vantage. The crew were capable, thoughtful, and friendly. Worth every penny!

Took the sunset cruise. Having lived in Seattle my whole life, this was one of the best things I've done. Absolutely stunning views, amazing crew, beautiful yacht, and an overall pleasant water experience. I highly recommend this and will add to my "must do" list for visiting friends.

Excellent way to "get your feet wet" in the sound! (Don’t worry…you won’t get wet unless you sit at the bow!) We enjoyed a great 2 hr cruise over to Bainbridge and back. It’s great you can BYOB or arrange a couple of drinks from them during reservation. Boat is beautiful and sturdy. And it’s really a tremendous value!

Amazing experience and fantastic crew. There's something special about just hearing the water against the hull and feeling the wind tug against the sails. Such a beautiful view of Puget Sound and the city. I didn't want to come back to shore. I can't wait to go back out next season!

Went for a sunset sail and everything's great. The crew members were nice and caring, I borrowed their jacket when the sun went down. Most importantly, the VIEWwws are unbeatable! Best angle to view the city, and if the weather allowed, you would see the Rainier. I would recommend to bring food and drinks and your favourite playlist!

We did the sunset sail! It was absolutely worth the extra money! Our lovely captain and co-captain were very knowledgeable and good at what they do. Joey and Zoey made sailing in Seattle something I will never forget!

I came across this hidden gem about 10 years ago or more, while walking along the Seattle waterfront. It started off with 1 sailing trip on a lazy afternoon, with a bottle of wine (yes you can bring your own!) and not a care in the world. Flash forward 10 years and i am taking anyone i can at least 15- 20 times a summer. WHY? because i am all about great customer service..none of this argosy cruise boats where you are crammed on a small boat with someone yelling through a microphone about a Seagull that is actually a stray pigeon...but they stick with the script because it landed on the top of the ferris wheel. Nope you get peace and quiet, civilized company, your own booze, and you can soak up those sweltering 68 degree Seattle Sunshine rays for an hour and a half of bliss. I'm telling you, if you want to see the skyline etc, you will kick yourself if you don't take a trip on Let's Go Sailing. This is a MUST if you come to Seattle in the summer! You WILL NOT be disappointed.

Very fine well rounded trip, windows were distractedly dirty but the staff was friendly and the trip was very decent priced, we went on the sunset cruise and to our surprise the included buffet of finger foods was delightfully tasty. Amazing place.

We did the sunset sailing experience and it was wonderful. The scenery was beautiful, the boat was excellent, and the crew was clearly very skilled and experienced. Make sure to dress warm for the sunset sail because the temperature will drop drastically. There's a bathroom on board, so the 2.5 hour trip isn't so bad.

Well, we didn't have a deal and we had wind. The crew was great. Actually, we wanted to be left alone just to enjoy the boat, and they were very willing to accommodate. I would not only recommend them, but will be back for another sail sometime this year.

Beautiful way to spend an afternoon. I really like how they don't serve food, because it simplifies everything and avoids feeling bad for bringing your own. Just stop at a sandwish/wine shop and bring your own. They provide a big cooler on board to store drinks. Also no spoken tour etc. Just simple sailing with the ocean and the breeze.

We had a wonderful time on a recent sunset sail with Let's Go Sailing. The boats are well cared for and the crew is personable, professional, and fun. I was also pleasantly and happily surprised by the adorable cabin dog on board. A sunset sail and a puppy?!? Does it get any better than that? No - no it doesn't. If you got a sunny windy weather and a sail in the middle of the workday - you're going to enjoy it a lot! It's like a meditation retreat. And commonly they have a discount for the midday sails on the working days - so don't forget to check their web site for deals.

Excellent local company operating in the Seattle area for 35 years. Great activity when the sun is out in the Evergreen state. The owner Paul is extremely trustworthy and reliable. Good staff and location. Plan ahead for parking - it will make your trip less chaotic.

What an amazing evening on the water in Seattle. I can't recommend this tour enough. Once on the boat all you needed to do was sit back and relax. My expectations were that I may need to do a little help (I mean it is a 40 foot SAILboat, right). But nope, the crew with Captain Tyler at the helm and one mate was plenty. Thanks again for a perfect evening. I can't wait to tell EVERYONE on my Trolley Tours!

We booked a reservation in advance for the sunset sail, that was a mistake. The weather on the day that we went on the sail was less than ideal; it was raining and chilly and not a lot of wind. We sailed anyways, and got soaking wet and chilly, and couldn't see much. We got into the harbor about 30 minutes early. I recommend not booking in advance due to weather, just book the day you want to go if the weather is nice. What other reviewers said about not a lot of seating is true - there are benches for about 11 people on the boat, the rest of the people stand or sit on the boat directly. I contacted the company to inquire if we could come back another time since the weather was so awful and they did not offer anything, said we were could book another reservation if we wanted. It is my opinion that it would not be any hassle to them to allow us to ride along on a nicer evening, companies these days do not put customers first. I will be checking out other sailing options in the future.

I bought a couple of Gold star tickets as a gift for my boyfriends birthday.We spent the whole day in Seattle, WA .I recommend going during the sunset hours. Hats the time I went on the cruise with my bf.We had so much fun.There is free food, entertainment, and one free beverage included with the purchase of each ticket.I personally recommend this as a date for couples .
