i worked on the construction of the tunnel and the taxiway between the North and South terminals...we just opened it for air traffic a few weeks ago...it was a proud moment to stand there and watch the first DELTA 747 taxi down the runway that we had been working hard on for the last two years...so if your there and have a chance to look out the big glass windows from the South terminal check out all the work we've done...you wont be able to see the tunnel yet but one day they will have it up and running...

From the counter to the plane, friendly staff. The plane itself was super cramped in seating, elbow to elbow in the main cabin and I'm on the small size. For our connecting flight, a surprise, we had to exit out into the cold and bus out to the plane. BRRR! No warning or a hey you may want to prepare yourself because we are sending you outside. Just shuffled out like a herd of cattle. I felt for the mother who had three small children in tow with her. It was like a throw back to the 70's. I'll be avoiding Salt Lake and Delta in the future if at all possible. Not a comfortable transition at all. Not in winter weather!

Out of all airlines I have traveled with, this one has the best customer service I've ever had. I was in a situation where my flight was delayed from a layover in Salt Lake City to going back home to California. I went to customer service on the baggage claim floor since it was midnight. The customer agent named Jackson listened to my situation. He took care of everything because he knew the airline was at fault. I got a rebooked flight the following day, a lyft ride, and a nice hotel with food vouchers. I was exhausted from the trip I had to go through, which resulted in missing my morning flight. When I got to delta late, John took care of everything and gave me a new flight without paying a dime. I honestly couldn't be happier with delta, but more so with the people of Salt Lake City. Keep up the customer service. Thank you.

Delta flight crew from slc to jfk were amazing! The crew the night before were also great when pilot got sick and delayed the plane for hours. Bryson was exceptionally considerate of exhausted passengers.

I got my wings when I was in diapers, and this Christmas, my 4 year old got his! Not diapers... he got his wings. Always been happy with Delta airlines. Good prices, easy check in and loading, friendly crew. Planes are clean and remodeled, but still show signs of being older. Updated tv console which had free movies and cool features. They let us check our carseat at no extra charge which was nice. Lots of turbulance roundtrip in pretty clear wheater, but I'm no expert on this. The reason I gave 4 stars is because my Girlfriend left her phone on the plane. I filed a report through the Delta loss otems port, but never heard anything back. I understand they probably have tons of lost items, but being that we spent $1500 to fly, I'd expect at least a message back. We will definitely fly with them again, I do still recommend Delta.

It was an okay flight. Crew were friendly. Had some delays, like parking to burn off furl so we were light enough to get airborne. I flew sardine class, they offered drinks and.snacks but not to my row, thankfully they've trained me to bring my own. Airbus A321 seemed newer, I appreciated the free flight status page on the entertainment system.

This review is for the wonderful customer service person at the delta baggage claim desk! Last night our flight from Salt Lake to Baltimore was cancelled. After trying and failing to get my question answered via Delta’s message service, I stood in line at the Delta baggage claim desk. Despite being midnight and likely dealing with disgruntled customers all day, the light haired woman at the desk not only answered my question in less than a minute, but explained how my bag would be and identified and redirected to my rescheduled flight. She didn’t have to do this, and I wouldn’t have blamed her if she had acted tired and disgruntled herself. Instead, she was perfectly pleasant, helpful, and empathetic. I didn’t get her name, but am writing this review in hopes that Delta will identify her and do what they can to keep her on board! In chaotic times like this, good employees are invaluable. Thank you!

Our time critical vacation flight was delayed for 2 hours then cancelled. We were given the rear seats on a flight hundreds of miles in the wrong direction where we scrambled from gate to gate in order to get on a standby flight to our destination. We traveled with a handicapped child and I wore a back brace and used a cane as I recovered from surgery. It was stressful and exhausting. The bright star in all of this was a Delta rep in Seattle Ned Ali who bent over backwards to get us to our destination.

Delta is one of the best. Pretty much a staple if you think about flying. Salt Lake City is one of their hubs I believe. It's always been super clean and the staff is friendly. If you have the money, fly these guys. It's a noticible difference from the budget companies

It can be encapsulated well by finding this note after one of our recent trips, their staff and helpful and courteous, and at a rather confusing time in the world, it’s nice to get on an airplane and be around good people. I missed my flight and one of their agents name Jimmy Hawaiian guy was absolutely wonderful when helping me. I’ve never been helped with such fantastic customer service before, I had two little ones with me and pregnant with my 3rd flying alone and he made everything really easy on me. Delta airlines should give him a raise or Atleast employee of the month!

Tmobile customers should absolutely fly delta for 1 hr of free wifi and free messaging and text the entire flight. The tv not he back of the seats are not hearing aide friendly. Bring a headset a 5hr flight is a long time to have no sound because your hearing aides won't connect to the screens. I was in incredible amounts of pain on a flight back from baltimore to slc and none of the delta staff offered wheelchair service to baggage claim.

I fly Delta twice a week. Flights are almost always on time. Crew is friendly. My only complaint is that they refuse to upgrade people who purchased basic fare flights to higher class seats even when they’re open and going unused. They clearly care about social distancing on their flights - as they’ve rarely seated a stranger next to me, but they won’t take that last step. You’ll have people in every row on the back half of the plane, but no one in rows 5-10 and only a couple in 1st class. In other airports, those seats will get used for upgrades. But not at SLC. NOT if you purchased a basic fare. Even if you’re a gold medallion status customer. Just seems like such a silly policy. 🙄

We were flying at the last minute due to a family emergency. Everyone from Siu, the agent who booked our flights to the kind people who pushed my handicapped parents from plane to plane tried very hard to make sure that we had a positive experience. This is the reason why, when flying, I always think of Delta first. Update. Another great trip flying Delta.

I always have a good experience with Delta, but today the airline and employees went above and beyond. I was sitting in an exit row by a window, and one of the stewardesses noticed that I was cold and brought me a hot water bottle. Talk about amazing customer service! I don't even know how they managed to get a hot water bottle like that mid-flight, but it was incredible. I'm very impressed with the commitment to care and customer service and comfort that was shown.

They take care of their customers, and apparently if you fly at least once a year for personal pleasure then their Visa card for $95 a year pays for itself in miles. Utah is also a Delta hub, so it's a great location for Delta flights to or from. Also, my brother in law is a pilot, so, I have personal reasons to appreciate their service. My last flight he was flying, this time he's elsewhere, but I've always enjoyed Delt Airlines.

Delta's staff continue to always show professionalism and dedication to customer experience and safety- even during the holiday weekend that I flew. They are always accommodating and friendly. I voluntarily checked my bag due to a full flight, and the staff was very friendly and helpful in that they explained and made the process very easy and stress-free. Delta does a stellar job with the Delta app. The moment they announced boarding, I immediately received a push notification on my phone and watch. They do an excellent job updating passengers for all flight events, including baggage tracking. The main cabin experience was excellent for a short flight, I enjoyed the A321's cabin atmosphere with its comfortable leather-type seating and nine-inch entertainment screen- something other airlines fall flat and don't even have. A selection of Movies, TV Shows, and Music, and LIVE TV channels were available on-demand for free, no added charge. The complementary WiFi for iMessage was a great free added bonus to stay in contact with friends and family. Full internet was available for only $10, well worth it for long flights. At the end of the flight, I loved the pre-landing blue lighting on the ceiling. If they added that during the cruise duration of the flight, instead of it being completely dark, that added ambience would make an additional positive customer experience. The nice part about collecting my luggage was that by the time I exited the plane and the time it took to get to the luggage carrousel, the bags were already being dispersed- no wait time. Additionally, the moment my bag entered the carrousel was the moment I immediately received another push notification from the Delta app saying that my bag entered the carousel. It shows the precision and reliability of their app and their tracking system. Very impressive! After the last few flights I've had with Delta in the past year, I newly look forward to building a loyal relationship with Delta as my preferred airline.

Delta are nice and hardworkers. We lost our baggage in Paris and they did their possible to deliver to us the right information and to get it back to us. It took 24 hours to be delivered to us. It wasn't so harmful for us because we were informed about everything. What I didn't like in delta is that, I felt very cold when I was in the flight and I asked for something to cover myself with but I didn't get anything. Also, they didn't have enough headphones for all the people in the flight.

I'm so thankful for the respectful and courteous staff of Delta Airlines at SLC. My family and I had plans for an international trip. It turned out that my daughter's passport had expired when we thought it would be too late. Thanks to Trent, he was able to help us in rearranging our trip to renew her passport in Atlanta then board a direct flight to our final destination. I'm traveling with my two daughters and they are young. We arrived in what we thought was plenty of time, but walked in to the terminal and there was a sea of humanity! We got in the line to check our bags and began to wait. We were told to go to the self check line for bags and as soon as we got there 4 different people were directed out of line because of restrictions. 1. NO OVERSIZED BAGS. 2. NO SPECIALTY ITEMS. 3 NO INTERNATIONAL TRAVELERS These things were not explained at the time and so these people were upset and the machines needed shut down from complications. We waited the time for them to reset and tried our luck and 2 of our 3 bags worked. Overall, great job on a busy day Delta!

The very best airline customer service experience. I imagine my story isn't special, but I sure felt well cared for. I'm rushing for a flight from SLC to Vegas, the economy shuttle took a 20 minutes to drop us off and good ol' TSA held me back for another half hour. I ran down to the gate as fast as I could just to watch the plane close it's doors and leave. 😭😂 100% my fault on that one, but the wonderful gate agent at Gate C10, 8AM on Saturday, September 21st 2019 deserves the greatest commendation for handling my flight changes calmly and respectfully. He was just friendly and he definitely deserves the best. Delta has always handled things well in my experience, I've enjoyed their flights and services. Their Salt Lake terminals are quite nice. Their staff are excellent. You won't go wrong here!

Had not many problems with Delta airlines. Lines for checking bags was pretty long and one of our flights was delayed 20 mins but all in all, the flight was ok, entertainment system was very nice and had several decent movies and flight crew was friendly and attentive.

Delta airlines has always been my personal favorite. They are focused on the customer and the experience. Whenever I've experienced delays with Delta they always have had my new literary ready when the delayed flight lands. With other airlines it's a pain to have to call them and work out new a new itinerary. Delta has also been testing free wifi which is amazing. Delta's gates and accommodations at SLC have always been a superior experience.

What can I say...everything went smooth and I wasn't dragged off the plane....I will say though, that to have to pay more to pick your seat is a shameless money grab and the loss of Amex Sky Boarding if you buy a 'basic' ticket was never mentioned in their info. I suppose it's just a matter of finding the airline that sucks the least...and for me, that's Delta.

Last night we arrived at the SLC airport and were confused about the location of an offsite car rental office. Burton at the Delta ticket check-in helped us to locate it. He asked around, then walked my wife and I to the front end of the terminal and showed us the shuttle. Though it it might not seem alot to someone familiar with the airport; when you arrive confused, and someone does this for you, it leaves a very positive impression. Kudos to Burton!

I enjoy flying Delta. It does seem on their smaller plane routes the flight attendants are much more strict and less experienced than other flights and they tend to be more robotic on take off and landing preparations, instead of being second nature like larger flights.

I always fly delta. For the most part they are great, but as with most air lines, you only get a small munchie treat and a small cup of your chosen beverage. It would be so much nicer if you got a whole can of soda or whatever you want to drink.

Although 11 in the morning is one of the busiest times to fly, the airport staff at slc international airport sped the security check up by using K-9 units, and allowing passengers to wall through the x ray machine instead of the giant mm examining one. The gentleman at the gate was kind enough to gate check my larger bag so I could board easier, and had an incredibly pleasant demeanor.

The most crowded terminal at the SLC Airport. Really showing its age and fails when compared to more modern terminals. Hope is on the horizon as the airport continues to remodel though. Restrooms and dining services seem to be inconveniently located. Employees are about as good as any other airport. This place fills up fast and there is a lot of foot traffic.

Personally I would rather fly Alaska because delta always seems to have issue with something or other. The prices are already pretty high. Then they nickle and dime ya to death for everything they can think of that they can call an upgrade. I kinda wonder why they usually charge 10- 20 % or so more than most other airlines. They certainly aren't spending the proceeds on new or upgraded aircraft. They don't offer anything special or anything all the other airlines don't already offer at a lower price. Unfortunately. I travel alot for work and every now and again It makes more sense for me to take a delta flight even if it does cost a little more.

Flight was delayed 3 hours before it was actually canceled. Sat on the plane for 45 minutes. It was frustrating, they provided water and snacks, but it is frustrating to cancel a flight over the delta stickers on the side of the plane slightly coming off as their reason.

Delta is the connection to Toronto. I have been in Utah for 5 weeks, so I had a extra gym bag going home. I didn't know I could have checked it at the boarding station for "Free" ... the ticket counter lady charged me $150.00 US! And was super super rude about it.. left with a bad feeling .. Not the best airport out there but there is an expansion in the works so hopefully it gets better I the coming years. Relatively easy to navigate, no terminal shuttles (not really necessary here), and restaurant selection leaves a bit to be desired.

Perfectly find Delta hub. Delta is spread across two adjacent terminals. Sky Club and food court are between them. My favorite food is the Jamba Juice. Lots of recharge and bottle refiller opportunities.
