My wife and I worked with Linda Wangsgaard to put together our honeymoon package (to Cabo) and everything was perfect!! Having the Amstar transportation to/from the hotel was super convenient. We ended up using Amstar for our excursions while we were in Cabo (Pacific Dinner Cruise and Ziplining at Wild Canyon) and they did a fantastic job getting us around. We'd highly recommend them for getting around Cabo! Last but not least, the Secrets resort was very nice. With it being on the other side of Cabo (San Josè Del Cabo), we both got to see a new part of Cabo we hadn't seen before while enjoying a more relaxed adult crowd with no kids. Couldn't thank Columbus Travel enough for putting together our special week!

My husband and I booked a trip to Mexico through Columbus and are incredibly happy with the service and ease of of the process. Our agent was very receptive to our budget and gave us so many options to choose from while also offering his expertise to help us zero in on a hotel in Puerto Villarta. Communication was prompt and we felt very well taken care of. The trip did not disappoint! The hotel was beautiful, food was great, and the experience was one that was sorely needed right now. We will absolutely be using Columbus Travel again and will recommend them to everyone we know.

Thank you Linda Jensen! She helped us plan a wonderful all inclusive vacation to Riviera Maya Mexico for our family. This was no small feat as There were 13 of us with Kids ranging in age from 2 to 15. She identified the perfect resort with something for all ages. Our extended family just booked a trip to Disney World with John Potter. I’m not normally one to race to write a review, but we had such a good experience I felt that it was worth the time. John met with my sister and I in their office and we hashed out details which on our part we’re slightly murky at that point because we didn’t know what we wanted or what we were doing. He gave us quotes for all 5 rooms and then proceeded to give restaurant, entertainment, and just overall experience recommendations for Disney World. None of us are super familiar with the parks, so this was incredibly valuable. He answered every question we had and was super patient and friendly. We went home, went over the details with the family, and then called/emailed John individually when we were ready to book. John was quick with returning/taking calls and we all were booked the day we contacted him to pull the trigger and book. We haven’t gone on the trip yet, but the ease of the planning could not have been better. Highly recommend. We will be back.

I had an excellent experience with Columbus Travel! Jane McBride, our travel agent went out of her way to ensure we had all of our expectations met. Jane would send us reminders to complete forms we needed to get done. She updated us on any info and opportunities, and she responded in a timely manner. When the airline changed our return flight on us, she even did her best to prevent us from having a long layover and then managed to do our early check in at the airport for us!!! Jane is definitely experienced and i was grateful we had her as our travel agent.

We have worked with Elaine on 2 big family trips, both have gone very well. She was able to conduct all the travel schedules and connections for all our parties. Communication was best for us through email, though there were plenty of phone calls between all of the families she was working with just in our group. It's been a good experience for us even though I see others have had trouble we had some very successful trips and created great family memories through Elaine and Columbus travel. One cruise vacation all inclusive set up and one flights and car rental vacation for 20+ people.

Columbus knows what they are doing, they will do everything in their power to make sure you have a great trip. We booked an Alaskan cruise with Columbus and had a great time. I was most impressed by how knowledgeable the Columbus staff were. Every question I could think of was answered as soon as I asked it, meaning they didn't have to research or "get back to me" because they already had the answers. It is that kind of expertise that makes a good travel agency great. Shout-out to Rayleen. She was extremely professional and very pleasant to work with.

Columbus Travel has served us exceptionally well with each of the several trips that we have booked through them. I write this review after returning from a Mediterranean trip with a group of about 40. The trip was just fantastic – all due to Columbus Travel’s diligent work in getting to every detail. They have a great knowledge base and experience which adds value to each of our trips. In working with several of their agents, the service has been great. I can’t imagine a better travel company.

Columbus Travel made our 1st time in Hawaii a family vacation a great experience to remember. Jane our travel agent was great to work with, made the trip less stress and just enjoy the trip. Their was a miscommunication about complimentary breakfast at the hotel but the travel agency paid for it with no questions ask. Just browsed around their website. Would like a bit more options in the search because i have kids and when looking at cruises, i need to figure out how many rooms I'll need or how many fit in what suites. Also called in and talked to a travel agent. Very friendly with helpful insights. A little pricey but that's the point of a service... they'll do all the work!

Working with Elaine has been amazing! We are a family of 22 people, heading out for a Western Caribbean cruise. Elaine has been so efficient in getting all our arrangements made. I don' t know when she sleeps, because she seems to always be planning "our trip". She has searched, and planned, finding us the best deals, making our funds go farther. If we have had questions, she has patiently answered and searched for answers. We all love her, and have only worked with her over the phone! The packages that she has put together for me include a Cruise, an All Inclusive Beach vacation to Jamaica, a 2 week multi city tour of Italy and most recently a long weekend getaway to San Diego. Instead of driving 9 hours to Denver and no guarantee from the government passport agency that we could receive a new passport in time, we only had a 3 hour drive to Salt Lake City and got her new passport in TWO days! How is this for spontaneous. On Friday June 17, 2016 at 4:30 PM I decide to take my 16 year old son to Costa Rica for some father son bonding time. On Saturday June 18, 2016 at midnight we are on a plane. I just had a feeling like I needed to spend some time with my son and I usually listen to those feelings. Mom was headed to girl’s camp and my other son was leaving to scout camp. So the boys and I took a trip. The boys are Eli my son, Eli’s grandfather and my brother Keith. Who do you call to make a trip like this possible? No plans just some time and a feeling. I called Columbus Travel and spoke with Mark Faldmo one of the owners. Within a few hours we had our six day trip planned. In the past I’ve taken trips with Columbus travel and they have always taken care of me. So I knew I could trust them. The people at Columbus suggest that before you leave on your trip that you lay out all your clothes on your bed that you plan to take and then lay out all the money you plan to take on the bed. Then they recommend you take only a third of the clothes you have on your bed and double the money you plan to take. Great advice, it works. When we landed in Costa Rica, Mark from Columbus Travel had a guide and a driver waiting for us at the airport. I’ve always heard that your accommodations and the food can make or break a trip. Well the places we stayed at were fantastic and the guide took us to eat some great food where the locals eat. This made the trip a success. There is no question in my mind that if I had to find our way around Costa Rica on our own it wouldn’t have been a success. The guys at Columbus are the experts, I’m not. Swimming in a hot spring under a live volcano that was blowing out smoke, a two hour zip line through the jungle, fishing on the coast, an ATV ride in the jungle of Costa Rica and watching a TV show with my son in our hotel room was the best. Now could we make it home before Mom gets home from girls camp. Well we almost made it home in time. I am lucky to be married to a forgiving wife. Buy the memory, be spontaneous, take a trip of a life time, you will have a blast, just remember to call Mark at Columbus Travel. Thanks Mark, you made it all happen. A trip of a life time for me and the boys.
