What a great activity on our trip to Portland! An awesome experience to remember, and hopefully repeat on a return trip. Phil was a great host, and gave an fun and interesting tour of the coast. A mix of information about the history, landscape, and culture of Portland made time fly on our cruise. A quick swim and a relaxing cruise made for a perfect afternoon! Can’t wait to go back!

We had an awesome trip with Maine Coast Cruising. The boat was amazing - very comfortable with all necessities. We moored off the Gosslings for a night of camping on the island - taking the paddle boards out for sunset and sunrise. Captain Phil and Kayleigh were great hosts and made our trip a blast!!

The experience on Maine Coast Cruising is one in a million. Captain Phil and his crew are knowledgeable, professional and fun! From the moment you step onboard, they go out of their way to make sure your comfortable and have what you need before leaving the dock. There are a few spots on the boat to get a different view, relax and enjoy the cruise around Portland. Our experience was a 10/10 and we look forward to our next opportunity to get on board!

Did a private cruise with Captain Phil for my bachelorette weekend and it was the perfect activity! The boat was beautiful, clean, and well-equipped with ice, water, and cups for our crew. We just had an amazing time out on the water with Captain Phil! What a way to see Portland! We had never been to most of the places he took us - past gorgeous islands and into little hidden coves. The boat had everything we needed - (even a super clean and quite fancy little bathroom.) It was super easy to get over to the marina from Portland and get out on the water. We’re already planning another trip for later in the summer - can’t recommend this company highly enough! Best summer activity when visiting Portland.

What a great way to start our Maine vacation! Captain Phil was so personable and he made our afternoon cruise a wonderful experience. We didn’t have a specific itinerary in mind, so he took us on a great cruise that highlighted a variety of sites and areas. Captain Phil offered insightful and entertaining commentary. He was also the perfect host, checking in at the right times and leaving us to enjoy ourselves at others. The boat is really lovely with plenty of different options for seating and viewing and everything you could need to enjoy your time aboard. We also really appreciated his responsiveness to our questions before our cruise and honest answers about food options. We had a fantastic afternoon on the water and would highly recommend Maine Coast Cruising!

I told Phil we were looking for a sunset cruise and boy did he deliver. We cruised through the pass between Great Diamond Island and Cow Island, grabbed a ball and ate fresh oysters shucked by the captain himself as the sun set on the mainland. Beautiful moment!! Our family of five (3 adventurous boys) had the best experience. Phil showed us local landmarks and took us to a cove to swim, which was the highlight of our trip. He was so kind, knowledgeable and engaging throughout the tour. My husband and I felt like we were boating with a good friend. We could not recommend Maine Coast Cruising more. Book it, this place is AMAZING. I went on this as part of my bachelor party weekend. This was honestly a massive highlight for everyone. Captain Phil is super funny, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable of the area. He gave us a tour of the surrounding islands, and we pulled into Niblets (on an island) for lunch. The scenery alone is worth the trip. We saw multiple seals, porpoises, and a shark. You can also ask about the history of the forts, which look pretty cool. Pro tip, if you’re looking for a drink or a snack after…foul mouth brewery is right next door to the marina. Big thanks to Captain Phil for creating a memorable experience for the gang.

If you are ever in Maine this is a must do!!! We wanted an intimate excursion that would cater to our adventurous side but could accommodate not just me and my husband but my mother, preteen, and our 5 month old baby. Philip and his wife went above and beyond for us and we had so much fun. They were professional, accommodating, fun, and just great people! We got to go swimming in the ocean, paddle boarding, all while listening to great tunes and having great conversation. We will definitely be doing this excursion every year when we are in Maine.

It was such an amazing experience spending 6 hours out on the water with some of my favorite people this past Saturday. Phil and Kayleigh were attentive, professional, kind, and just down to earth. As new parents and with safety on our minds, we felt totally at ease with Phil's two decades of hands-on, invaluable experience running boats combined with his like-new Cutwater 30 Command Bridge boat, the latter of which must be seen in-person to be truly appreciated. We also felt totally at home with Phil’s warm, welcoming, fun, unassuming personality and demeanor. He and his crew provided us with a truly one-of-a-kind Maine experience. We cruised the waters and explored the islands off of Portland, including Peaks, Great Diamond, and Little Diamond—all while enjoying the comforts of his well-equipped, spacious, safe boat. We give Phil and his crew our highest recommendation, and we look forward to booking again soon!

We took a private, customized cruise with Captain Phil on Friday, June 4th 2021 - It was an amazing experience and beautiful scenery/tour. He was able to anchor in a cove area for about an hour while we enjoyed each others company, our cocktails and appetizers. Between the old forts, beautiful islands and seal you can't get much better. We will be booking again soon!

I cannot recommend an experience with the team at Maine Coast Cruising highly enough. Kayleigh and Phil run the boat with an enthusiasm for Portland, Casco Bay and its surrounds that is so informative, interesting and fun! They were so willing to find a plan that worked for us and showed us little coves and islands that were real hidden gems away from the ferries and crowds. The amenities on board were excellent - so much space aboard for a relaxed trip with our friends watching Casco Bay go by. We already can't wait until our next trip later this summer!

Had a great experience with Skipper Phil. We had a an 8, 6 and 3 year old with us that had never been on a boat before - my 8 year old worried about sea sickness, my 6 year old worries about sharks and my 3 year old - well, she is 3. So it was a perfect way to get them used to the boat and how great the water can be! The boat is super functional and Phil is really easy to work with if you have pending weather, etc. We will make this part of our annual trip for sure! Thanks MCC!

MCC is great! The boat is clean, comfortable and sizable with great inside and outside places to hang out. The Phil and all of the crew are very experienced and safe. Best part is the beautiful spots all around Casco Bay that we saw, especially as you get away from the busier Portland Harbor. We saw amazing islands, wildlife (eagles!) and lighthouses. This is an awesome way to spend a day on the water.

There are so many charter options out there--use MCC if you want to put a truly adventurous trip together! Phil is kind, professional, experienced, and an all around awesome guy.
