HIGHLY RECOMMEND for tourists and locals alike! We did the Alphabet District tour with some friends who live in Portland and all of us loved it! Dylan was our tour guide and he was amazing! Truly a pleasure to hang out with and beyond knowledgeable about everything - food, the city, history, and all the other random topics we quizzed him on. He took us to try foods we may not find our own and everything we had was something different and delicious! For my local friends, they found a few new places to add to their regular list and for us it was a great way to experience the foodie city that Portland is!

I would suggest this tour to anyone who is visiting the Portland area (and maybe some locals too if you want to get to know your town). Our tour guide Angie was so knowledgeable from how the restaurants sourced their food, to the different stories of the chefs and brewers, and even history of the city of Portland.
We did the Best of Portland tour which takes you all over the city. I think this is a great tour to start with if you're new to the city, because you really get a lay of the land and what the city has to offer. We got to try seafood, beer, wine, food carts, and of course some Portland ice cream.
If you're in Portland, don't miss out on this fun opportunity!

Took a tour of Portland neighborhoods with stops at 5 food truck "pods". Food was amazing and Angie was very knowledgeable about the city! Interesting facts about the city's history, modern day highlights of each neighborhood, and great info on each food truck you stop at. Highly recommended for anyone who likes good food and wants to see what Portland has to offer!

I was very happy with the experience. The guide was knowledgeable, and likable.
The food was different and interesting. I could have skipped the fries but I know how difficult it is manage the logistics on these tours. Would definitely take the tour again.

Our family of 4 (3 generations) had a fantastic time with our guide Pat. She was very energetic and knew so much about the neighborhoods. Big tip, make sure you go on an empty stomach. The food is soo goood. I didn't realize there were so many pods in the area full of fantastic food carts. Some great places to just hang out with friends and family and have food, drink and socialize.

This was one of the highlights of our too short visit to Portland. Pat was a wonderful guide and host, tailoring the food stops to our tastes and what we love to eat. The best coffee. The best cocktail. The best chicken and rice. The best chocolate. She had vast knowledge of the foodie scene and history, was funny and entertaining, and deeply passionate about the local industry. Don’t miss it.

We took the Food Carts and Neighborhood tour and had a great time! Angie was really knowledgeable and we got a lot of good advice about places to visit and other places to eat along the way. It was a great way to be able to visit the different neighborhoods of Portland and it really puts Portland into perspective. I'd definitely recommend it as one of the first things you do when visiting Portland for the first time as it really helps to plan out the rest of your time. The trip itself was really efficient as Angie knew all the right roads to avoid traffic and all the places to park to minimize being in the rain. She has really great relationships with the different cart owners and a number of them came over to talk to us about their food and answer any questions we had. We got our tasty treats staged really well and things were just coming off the griddle as we were pulling up. You really get a lot more out of the experience than you would if you just drove around to sample the different spots. The food you get to try can be different depending on time/season/etc, but we got bulgogi tacos, philly cheese steak on potatoes, eggplant parm sandwiches with fried olives, smoked salmon in a potato based wrapped, and dessert waffles. Angie really puts together a complementary spread based on the food truck pod communities, their locations, the ordering of the foods, and how well the dishes pair with each other. We were pleasantly stuffed and happy at the end of the tour.

I contacted Eat adventures to book the Food Carts tour for our bachelorette group, and Angela did a wonderful job accommodating our group. She did a fantastic job describing the the different neighborhoods while we were hopping to different pods and giving us a feel for the city. The food was phenomenal and the best part was that she took us to very unique spots that we wouldn’t have tried otherwise. Highly recommend this tour!

We did the Alberta Arts District food tour and it was absolutely incredible! Amazing food, drinks, & hospitality! Can’t wait to book another one soon! :)

We did the Deluxe Foodie Experience in downtown Portland. The tour guide Donna was great! She knew a bunch of information about Portland and the chefs downtown. We had some great food and drinks from a variety of stops. The timing was well managed and the stops were organized in a way that we never felt hungry or stuffed. It was a perfect afternoon! Highly recommended.

We recently moved to Portland and we were given this food tour as a gift as a way to explore the city. We had a wonderful time with Paul Gerald-we ate a bunch of delicious food and learned a lot about the arts district and the city of Portland. I would highly recommend trying this!
Amber
Alexis was incredible! So we loved our tour with Eat Adventures Food Tour. She clearly loves her city and gave us a bunch of cool facts from building design structures to park historys to chefs unique style in cooking! We had amazing upscale food, farm to table food, food cart and dessert options. We left with so many great recommendations for the rest of our trip too!!! We wont go hungry in Portland! Highly recommended!!

This tour was excellent! We did the downtown Portland tour with Melissa and at each stop the food selections were fabulous, the cocktails refreshing and the commentary gave a real sense of Portland history and its foodie community. Melissa really knows her stuff and even makes the walk between stops fun and interesting! Her passion for Portland and the food scene really shines through...even her recommendations for after the tour were amazing (and I live in Portland!). I highly recommend this tour to locals and visitors alike. A fun and delicious way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

My daughter and I had the best day with our tour guide, Pat. We weren’t sure what to expect so we were pleasantly surprised by the number of stops and quality of food along the tour. We experience everything from upscale dining to kitchen halls to food carts. The food was amazing and the portion sizes were large, so much so, that we were stuffed by the end of the tour. Pat is very knowledgeable about the Portland food scene as well as city and state history. We learned fun facts along our walk through town that otherwise we would have missed. Pat is a gem. I will definitely book another tour next time I’m in Portland.

This is a great way to explore Portland and enjoy great food along the way!
Eat Adventures has thought of every detail. The food was fantastic, perfectly sized and a good assortment. Our tour guide Angie was friendly and very knowledgeable about the Portland scene. I highly recommend!

5 STARS !! I would highly recommend Eat Adventures Food Truck Tour. Our tour guide was Pat. She was beyond friendly and engaging. Pat educated us on the history of Portland and helped ensure we were orientated of our location within the city. We had 4 food truck stops; each were amazing in their own special way. Each of the stops had food that was delicious. I was not disappointed in taste or portion sizes ! If you go on this tour be sure to go hungry ! The portion sizes were the biggest I have seen on a food tour. I am excited to visit Portland again so I can try a different Eat Adventures Food Tour.

We did the "Best of Portland" food tour. The food was top notch. We had samples of food from a variety of places. The seafood was amazing! I would recommend this tour to anyone who like to have a good time. Also, our guide Angie was world class. We've done tours all over the world, and she is in another league of professionalism all her own! Do this tour if your ever in Portland.

The Eat Adventures Food Truck tour was one of my favorite things we did on our trip to Portland. Our tour guide Angie was so knowledgable and this tour was a great guide of the city itself as well as food. It was like a 2-n-1! We had 5 stops and went some really fun trucks and awesome pods. It was the perfect amount of food and well planned out. I have many food allergies and another girl with us was a vegetarian, but she was still able to accommodate the both of us. So worth it and I would definitely do her tours again!

We received a gift certificate for the Food Cart tour. Though I live in Portland and have been to many of the awesome food carts around the city, I got to experience all new carts on this tour. The carts were thoughtfully selected and all the food was delicious. I especially appreciated the fact that there was personal history provided about the food cart vendors themselves and their story. The fact that it is a driving tour allows out of town guests to see/experience many of neighborhoods in Portland. Very cool!

THIS TOUR IS A MUST! My wife and I had experienced a few tours now and I would have to say I really enjoyed this tour, especially with our guide Donna which was SUPER FUN and friendly and hilarious! Awesome guide with tons of knowledge about the city. I now know more about the city Portland than any city in California. I absolutely loved the food that I ate at every destination. I experienced a wide spectrum of foods and learned so much about Portland. I went back to a few places even after the end of the tour. The Q brunch is where it's at for lunch! If you are out of state, this is recommended to be done as soon as you can on your vacation because it can be EXTREMELY overwhelming when you get to Portland and choose what foods to eat. Here is an amazing pizza slice from the place we visited.

My boyfriend and I went on the The Deluxe Foodie Experience - Downtown Portland for his birthday and it was so much fun! The food was great and our tour guide PAT was the best!!! She had so much knowledge about the city and history as well as the restaurants we were eating at. The whole experience was awesome and she even gave us a list of great breweries and other places to check out before we left town. I would recommend this to anybody who wants to taste great food and have a good time!
Kelly Small
Pat was a wonderful tour guide. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about each neighborhood we visited. The food we sampled was amazing, with a great variety of flavors! It was a great introduction to this unique city and a small taste of what it has to offer. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for something fun and delicious to do in Portland!
Luke Gustin
Had a great time on this tour on our first day in Portland. Angie was our guide and took us to some delicious local hot spots. Got to also sample local beer and wine as well as a local food cart which is something pretty unique to Portland. Angie gave us a lot of information on the city as well while we were riding around. This was our first time doing a food tour and we had such a good time that we will be doing one every time we visit a new city!
Khang Nguyen
The tour was an experience and it was exciting. My girlfriend and I had a great first time doing this tour and our tour guide, Alexis, did a great job explaining a lot of information about the arts in Portland. The food picked and sampled was amazing and I would recommend it to all my friends and family. Would come back again!
Brandon
The Food Carts & Neighborhoods tour was my 2nd tour with Angie, and it was did not disappoint.
The six different food stops were all unique with a good amount food to sample. Four of the stops were foods i hadn't ever eaten before.
This is a great tour that i'm sure i will be doing again when friends and family come to visit!
I totally recommend this tour for a great overall feel of Portland and the amazing food scene here!
Joe Kilty
I was here visiting Portland and wanted to get a feel of the area without going on a classic tour. This was a great way to get to know the area and keep everyone interested, BECAUSE THERE'S FOOD! Our tour guide Pat made it and even better experience. She knew the city so well and did a great job at being engaging and joyful the whole tour. Each food cart pod in Portland had amazing allergy options and they all have a rigorous inspection process which is extremely different from other areas in the country we’ve traveled to. Each pod we went to had just the right portion for what we where tasting, it’s a great alternative to going out to a basic lunch. Some of the food carts were so good that we went back the next day to get more food! The grilled cheese and the Lefse from Viking soul food were particular highlights.
Ainsley Yee
If you do one thing while visiting Portland,OR it needs to be this food tour. Pat was our guide and she was phenomenal. She was knowledge and gave us history of the city and different neighborhoods. The food they took us to was fantastic. If you not a picky eater this is for you!
jane mcallister
I went on the Brunch walking tour and it was one of the highlights of my trip to
Portland. Our guide Pat was truly awesome, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing her love of the city and it’s food with us. She providedI a great introduction to variety of amazing and diverse eating choices, including the best pizza I’ve ever eaten! I would definitely recommend anyone who loves food to try an Eat adventures walking tour on their visit to Portland!
Cathy Asher
This was our first time in Portland and we were hoping to get a taste of the city & neighborhoods as well as the food. We got it! All five of us agreed this was the best food tour we had ever been on, hands down. Our guide, Pat, was fantastic . She picked us up in an out of the way place (we came to Portland by ship) and showed us around many neighborhoods. Then came the food, and it showcased the energy and inventiveness of the food trailer chefs. We had things many of us had never heard of, and are eager to have again. Everything was so seamless, from scheduling, to meeting. We highly recommend this tour!

Best of Portland! Great choice!
We had Angie as our guide, and a very nice afternoon. We stopped at 5 different places, from fine dining, an amazing brewery, a winery, a food truck and then ice cream! Went all over Portland and I must say, a fun group of folks to get to know. My favorite was between the cold smoked fish rubbed in salt and coriander at Southpark seafood, or the surprisingly gourmet bites at Ecliptic Brewery. Did I say they also have beer?
Madeline Drake
We took the Food Cart tour. This was our first time in Portland and found the Food Tour to be a great way to get acquainted with the city. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable. And the food was very good and interesting. Do not eat before you go on this tour because you'll need all the tummy space you've got. I highly recommend this tour group.
Bridget King
My husband and I were lucky enough to get a private tour with Pat. She was wonderful and passionate about sharing the food cart experience in Portland with us. It was hard to choose a favorite but this tour made us realize we have to come back to Portland to eat more!
Lisa M Ezratty
Food Tours are the best way to tour a city. Portland is a fantastic foodie delight!! Our guide Pat walked us around Portland providing interesting historical facts as we visited multiple restaurants tasting a variety of delicious bites. Samples are large so come hungry!!
Abby Lewandowski
We did the Portland Food Cart Pods and Neighborhoods tour with Alexis last Friday. My husband and I were the only people on the tour, and were both a bit surprised that they didn’t cancel. We were so happy they didn’t because this tour made our trip! Alexis was extremely knowledgeable, charismatic, funny and kind throughout the whole tour. She also handled the massive van like a total boss! We were lucky enough to stop at four food trucks including Bark City BBQ, Viking Soul Food, Namu and one (I cannot for the life of me remember the name) that had the best pie I’ve ever eaten. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Portland to see neighborhoods you wouldn’t normally see if you’re staying downtown. Because of the tour, we spent an entire evening in Mississippi and had an amazing time. Also, we can’t praise Alexis enough on how amazing she was! If you get her as your tour guide, you’re in for an amazing day! She even recommended Bao Bao to us when we told her we were looking for the best steamed buns in town. That cart was amazing as well!
Bridie Laing
Great food tour led by the super nice and knowledgeable Pat. I called the day before with food restrictions and Eat Adventures was more than happy to accommodate my requests. Insightful walking tour with a little local history and a lot of food! I had called another food tour company and they responded that they could not accommodate gluten free (really, in Portland?) Would recommend to any anyone and everyone!

This was the first thing I did with my dad when he arrived in Portland. It was his first time ever visiting PDX, so it was a great way for him to get a feel for the city and I didn't have to be the driver or navigator. He conduct stop talking about how much fun he had on the food tour for the rest of his vacation, meaning the experience was well worth the cost. I would recommend EAT Adventures to both visitors and Portland residents, Angie took us to some of my old favorites and also introduced me to several new favorites. I had such a great time that I plan to book a tour the next time I host out-of-town family or friends.
Ralph Hebb
We took the The Deluxe Downtown Foodie Experience tour with Alexis, and had a wonderful time. The selection of restaurants was excellent, and Alexis was very well informed about the locations, the food, and the local stories and history. When we're back in Portland, we plan to take the brunch the and, possibly, the neighborhood and food cart tour. Highly recommended!
June Gaffney
Today we were lucky to have a chocolate streetcar tour with Donna Kay. The tastings were generous and delicious. We learnt a lot about chocolate and traveling on the streetcars meant we got to see Portland as well. We both thoroughly enjoyed both the food and conversation and were very pleased that even though there were only two of us the tour still went ahead. Highly recommended.
Patty C
Angie was a great guide! We learned a bit about the hundreds of breweries in Portland and got to sample beer from three of them. The food trucks were amazing! Food was farm to table fresh and home made, delicious! The last brewery had the most amazing thing that made our tour ending great!
Vivek Mano
We discovered hidden gems (and we're Portland natives)!
Angie did a wonderful job of taking us to some fantastic food carts all around Portland. We made great use of the van by stopping to get food in all four quadrants, going as far as SE Foster and 52nd, an area that we've never been to!
I would recommend this tour to anybody who enjoys experiencing all types of food in a fun an informative manner!
Ryan H
Pat was fantastic today showing us around and educating us on the food culture here in Portland. Food was amazing and delicious with many flavors and was fresh. The Q was our favorite dish and would recommend this tour for anyone looking for a good time and great food. Cheers!
Jodi S
Alexis was a wonderful guide on our downtown Portland food tour. She was full of great information and made sure to provide recommendations for places of interest not covered during our tour. We had a wonderful tour and highly recommend this to visitors as well as anyone who lives in the area.
Robert Johnson
We booked a girls weekend and did the food carts tour and a private wine tour in the Willamette Valley. The food carts tour was a great way to get our bearings and see parts of Portland we wouldn't have known about. Our favorite neighborhood was Alberta, and favorite food the Korean tacos. We had perfect weather for our wine tour, and really loved Archery Summit. Definitely recommend both tours!
Rick 1770
Had a great time doing something we had never done before. Pat not only explained the food facts well, she also is very knowledgeable about Portland and her delivery was a lot of fun. This was a large group (20 + people) so she would explain something to part of the group and then move to the other part and explain the same thing,
making sure everyone heard the info. Highly recommend if you are in Portland.
mike CASTRO armenta
What a super experience.....Pat was very knowledgable and made us feel like family. She explained every stop ahead of time and was very organized. The weather was superb and we enjoyed the food and info pat gave us tremendously. Each of the items she chose at each stop helped us understand the how and why they came to be and also tasted great. We are going to recommend her highly to friends that are coming to visit Portland. Thanks again Pat.
Ken Prickett
We've done several tours with this company, both driving and walking, and plan to book with them again when we have family in town. Our most recent tour was the Best of Portland tour, and we sampled seafood, wine, hard ciders, pastries, local coffee, brewery, and food cart. We've also gone on their Alberta tour, where we checked out the local artwork and ate along the way. Definitely recommend!
Rob Pesick
We had an incredible tour with Alexis. Not only did we learn about the origins of chocolate, how to taste chocolate, we learned about the city of Portland. Starting out at Cacao was excellent as it gave us a base to prepare us for the rest of our day. We sampled a variety of chocolates from different regions, each with its own ‘uniqueness’. The hot Chocolate at the food cart was outstanding and the drinking chocolate at Creo was so good worlds cannot describe. I highly recommend this tour and, request Alexis as your tour guide. I almost forgot to mention the campfire toast, You just have to try it!
Brittany Kauffman
We did the driving food cart cart tour with 4 other friendly people
and I must say it was awesome! Angie our tour guide, really knows her stuff. I would recommend doing this tour for a good understanding of the Portland neighborhoods and the huge food cart scene happening here. Thanks again! :)
Annette Glidewell
A great activity that taught us, newly moved to the Portland area, about the history and unique features of Portland. And the choices of foods from the food carts were delicious and delightful. The personal explanations done by the chefs were nice. It was a very memorable experience and we will likely do it again with other family members when they visit us here.
Nathan Sosa
We had a great time on the brunch tour! Our tour guide, Donna, was energetic and funny. She is a wealth of local knowledge. She also called ahead to each venue so that everything was ready when we arrived. There was a good variety of food and it was delicious.
Jessica S.
Tour was very interesting and we had the best tour guide (Alexis) who taught us about the history of the Arts District as well as the art on the walls. The food was ok but not amazing as another reviewer pointed out. One of the food carts (the 2 French guys) was fantastic. I'd recommend they try to do more food cart stops as opposed to actual restaurants. Portion sizes were good but more water would have been needed!

Brews and Bites Tour
Loved Angie and the Tour all around!
You always gamble a little booking tours, but this one paid off. Did it as a Valentine's Day Gift and it was the best.
The food was absolutely fantastic, and the breweries and beers were all unique and delicious.
Definitely recommend and would do it again, such a good experience.
Sarah Smith
A must-do for visitors and locals alike! Angie and her husband do a beautiful job showcasing Portland.
My husband and I received two passes for the “Best of Portland” food tour as a gift. We didn’t know anything about Eat Adventures and had never done a food tour of any kind. We were able to include our dietary preferences and allergy information online in advance. And even with these restrictions we had so much to eat and drink and enjoy. I’ll also add that there was such a range of flavors and ingredients that I don’t think we had anything close to the same thing twice. We were delighted and stuffed.
We’ve lived in Portland for a year and still learned a good deal about the city by talking with Angie as she drove us from place to place. Plus, you’ll have the advantage of riding as passenger as you check out spots through most, if not all, 4 quadrants. It’s a fun way to find new places. Angie was considerate of and knowledgeable about just about any topic that came up as we were driving- from city infrastructure to best produce spots. It feels like you’re visiting a friend. There was never a hint of tour-guide persona and she was a great conversationalist. She was always two steps ahead with potential needs, such as washroom and drinking water accessibility, and space and privacy while we enjoyed each dish.
Be ready to eat! The plates/offerings from each stop were more substantial than we were anticipating. I wrapped my last dish to-go in case I was ever hungry again. The spots we visited (5 total on our particular trip) each practiced sustainable methods to getting their product to our table. Seasonal and local ingredients were featured at every stop. And the food was pretty close to waiting for us each time, which made us feel so special, and also meant we could take our time enjoying the treats and the different atmospheres. We were beyond pleased with every single dish we had. In addition to what Angie shared with us about each restaurant/winery/brewery, someone from each staff was ready and waiting to present to us each dish with details about the preparation or sourcing of ingredients.
Some things that made the day even better for us:
We happened to be the only two on our tour. The van that takes this specific tour (they offer walking tours as well) fits 15 and I imagine this would be a great family reunion/birthday/wedding rehearsal dinner activity. But it was nice for us as a date setting.
The weather was perfect. Scattered clouds, warm temperatures in low 70s and no rain to work with.
Great deal- Lastly, we’re already telling our friends to check out Eat Adventures. Even friends who live here in town. Not only is it all of the above, it’s priced well. When we knew we would recommend it to others we checked the prices and were surprised at how much we ate and saw and drank for the amount of a ticket. You will finish the tour full and satisfied and with an even deeper appreciation of Portland than you had at the beginning.
This was an incredibly sweet gift to have received and now we can’t wait to share a tour with someone else. Seriously, treat yourself or someone you love to this adventure.
Christina Rivera
We had a blast. The food tour took us on a food adventure. Just what we needed to get familiar with the area. Our tour guide Donna was a wealth of knowledge from food to the city’s culture and history. Showing us the city as we made our way from place to place. Delicious food from Q and meeting the chief was one of our favorites we will visit again before we leave.
Ashley Poppe
We chose to do the food cart tour and stopped at about 5 carts. Usually I’m a picky eater, but there was nothing I wasn’t willing to try with Angie’s confidence and experience. I like to consider her the food guru - her unbiased palette will keep your tastebuds satisfied and curious! While the food was amazing, the adventure was in the journey. This tour was much more than food - it was the experience and storytelling that sets this tour apart. My tastebuds and I will definitely find our way back for more fun!
Annie Norris
Eat Adventures couldn’t have been more accommodating. We were on a Mom and Daughters weekend from NY. We thought we would have a wheelchair for mom and they did everything to make sure they had room. Pat, our tour guide and a fantastic story teller, made every effort to drop us off as close to the food pods as possible. She was incredibly informative, knowledgeable and full of life. She gave us much more than we could have asked for. Well worth the adventure for sure.

I took the Chocolate tour with our daughter and 4 girlfriends to celebrate her 10th birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed every sample we got, learned a whole lot about each chocolatier, and the girls had a blast riding the streetcar from stop to stop. Our guide - Alexis - was AMAZING. She shared interesting nuggets of information about the areas we visited/rode by, was patient and pleasant, and perfect for a mixed group (kids and adults). All five girls have double thumbs up to Alexis and the tour. Prior to the tour Angie was quick to respond to my queries and extremely helpful. I am considering Eat Adventures’ Deluxe Foodie Experience when our out-of-town friends visit in October.
Priya Mistry
Angie was a terrific host. Filled with insight about the food, the city and and the vendors. I loved the tidbits about the history of the city. There were 6 of us on the tour so it felt more personalized. She was also mindful of the various allergies and the dietary restrictions we had. I'd definitely recommend this company over any other one. And on a side note, they do other tours as well as company retreats. As a small business owner myself, I can appreciate the added touches they put into this. You can tell this is where their heart is! Thank you Angie!
LILLY CRAVER
Just had a blast doing the "Best of Portland Tour". Angie doesn't scrimp on the tour tastings, my friend and I we both stuffed at the end of the tour. Saw more of Portland on this tour than my last three visits here. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Portland and hungry!
Laura Williams
We planned this food tour as a surprise for my best friend's bachelorette party, and were blown away by all the amazing things we tried. We had quite a few picky eaters in our group, but since it was a private tour they set everything up based on our restrictions. The guide was really accommodating with us, and even went out of her way to get the bride a special pick-me-up coffee in the middle of the tour. I'll definitely book this the next time I'm in the states!
Seth Prickett
I have been on several trips with Eat Adventures and have enjoyed them all! My favorite is between the Portland food carts and the Oregon coast.
The great thing about the food cart tour is not only do you get to try so many different carts but you also get to meet some of the cart owners and hear them describe their cart & food selection.
Great Tours!

Olivia's Wonderland of Taste is so pleased to be one of Eat Adventures stops on the Food Cart Tour.
The owners are brilliant and very kind people.
You should definitely take advantage of their knowledge of the PDX Food scene.
They will guide you to the hidden gems of this fine culinary city.
They will show you the places only the locals know about.
Eat Tasty Food!
Limary Gonzalez
It was just my fiancé and I on the food cart and neighborhood tour and it was the perfect beginning to a week long portland trip. We visited delicious food carts while also learning all about the various neighborhoods in Portland! Highly recommend to anyone near or far to get immersed into the Portland culture while eating some awesome food! Thanks so much for an awesome experience!
Cinder Woods
I highly recommend this three hour tour of some of PDX’s charming neighborhoods, punctuated with stops at five super food cart pods, sampling a diverse variety of foods. For people with food allergies or sensitivities, accommodations were thoughtful and tasty. Our guide, Angie, was so pleasant and knowledgeable about the food cart business and Portland’s neighborhoods and its history. And she can parallel park like nobody’s business!
Anne Lowder
The tour started off well. I think I would have preferred another restaurant rather than the food truck. At the food truck it came out cold and we had to stand for sometime while they prepared it. Also, I paid the same amount as everyone else yet portions were seldom equal. The food truck: some got whole servings and some got a 1/4 serving. At the pizza place - we had fried chicken pizza. The chicken was in the center of the pizza and did not come up with the slice. So it was hard to get a piece of chicken. At Q's the wine were not served equally. I just fill that the servings should be equal. I would also have preferred another savory restaurant rather than two dessert settings.
As for the tour guide. You need to stop and let people circle around before you talk. Or talk in the restaurant. Walking down the street ahead of us and talking with your back to us does no good.
Emily Tatone
I came across these food excursions when I was researching wine tours in the Portland area for our vacation last week, and couldn't pass up the chance for a Food Truck tour. Booking was easy and they picked us up from our hotel in their van (which was nice because it was a typical rainy winter day in Portland). We started with a small food truck that specializes in grilled peanut butter sandwiches in a sort of shopping district, then bounced around the city to other areas and types of food. The owner of the last cart we visited was hilarious - explaining how he got into the business and why he specialized in what he called Euro trash grub.
What surprised me about the tour was that our guide Angela talked about the history and fun facts of the areas we visited, not just your run-of-the-mill cheesy tour stuff. We laughed and told stories and I really felt like the experience was catered to us and not generic. I don't know if it's like this on all tours or when there is a bigger group, but it made the tour even more memorable for us. Either way, food was great, and we had a lot of fun!
Dan Klopp
A food and cultural tour of Portland's five quadrants (yes, you read "five quadrants" right). We drove through large swathes of Portland, visiting Food Truck "pods" and sampling them. It was a pleasant blend between inner city and Portland suburbia. Tour guide (Pat) was enthusiastic, knowledgable and helpful.

We were smart enough to book a mid-day tour with this fantastic company. It was AMAZING!!! if you're looking for something fun, different and an opportunity to tour the sites of this great city then book with these guys. We had such a good time and our host was knowledgeable and able to work with our small and eclectic group. For our weekend girls trip this was such a good idea, I highly recommend to anyone looking for culture, fantastic food and a good way to spend a few hours. Great job guys!!!!!

Thouroghly enjoyed the food cart tour with Alexis! Really good vibe and amazing food. If you are spending time in Portland, try to do this early on your stay. We got heaps of advice on where to go and eat around town also heaps of infor/history about Portland.
Our favourite food by far in the tour was baobao. The pork baos and home made chilli oil is out of this world.

Alexis had wonderful fun information about the historical stories around the Alberta Art District! The food venue was tasty and had a range of different types of food. My boyfriend and I never been on a food tour before, so this was a very positive uplifting experience for the both of us! I would do this again with only having ALEXIS be our tour guide!
AJ Peterson
Alexis Moore Eytinge was our group walking tour guide and she was fantastic and has a great sense of humor and was great at educating us on the back story of each stop. If you want to walk with a Portlander and feel the true vibes of the city she’s the gal! Loved the experience and thanks again!

These folks are seriously PASSIONATE about food! It's refreshing to have a guide really love what they're talking about and it shows. Portland is known for their food and this tour has done the legwork to find the exact right places you'd want to go (even some off the beaten path...) Can't recommend them enough for a way to show those out of town relatives (who you have no idea what to do with when they're here) a fun way to get to know Portland. Thank y'all so much!
