Our guide, Mike was so knowledgeable about the city - - everything from history, movies and even places to eat! He was well spoken & traveled at a pace that seemed everyone was comfortable keeping up. I believe there is a missed marketing opportunity here because 4 out of 7 people in our tour group ended up at the suggested cheesesteak restaurant immediately after the tour! We were ALL SMILES after our tour and have already suggested to many of our friends to see Philly this way! Thanks for a great day.

This was THE BEST money we spent during our trip to Philly! We learned a lot and got to see more than I imagined was possible in 2 hours. Our guide, D, was super encouraging and knowledgeable. I thought for sure I'd fall, but it was totally safe. We had a blast!

My wife and I had a great time seeing the sights of our adopted city. The Segway takes a bit of getting used to but is really a great way to cover a lot of ground and get to see a lot more than you would be able to on a walking tour. Our tour guide, Sarge, did a great job. You can tell he is passionate and deeply knowledgeable about Philadelphia. His instructions and navigation on the Segway was friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend.

My family and I had a great time on this tour! We bought a Groupon , showed up at the tour office and realized that we had accidentally booked for the wrong day . It was our only day in Philly so couldn’t go another time. Groupon were being jerks and wouldn’t approve a cancellation, refund or give Groupon bucks. The tour office said the timeslot was locked but tour guide Cijonie called her manager and said she would take us anyways. She was an incredible tour guide. She made us laugh and gave great fun facts! She made the tour entertaining even in the face of her the personal emergency she had been dealing with before we arrived. She was a trooper and the whole fam had a great time with her. She also was amazing and took pictures of us at all the iconic spots. I thought this was a great idea to discourage folks (like my parents) from trying to take pictures themselves while navigating the Segway. She airdropped like 60 photos to us!!If you get a chance Philly by Segway is a great choice for a 1 or 2 hour trip around the city. You will learn a LOT and have fun doing it. Request Cijonie if you want a tour guide with some flavor!

We did the two-hour tour of Philly that we purchased through Groupon. The tour started promptly even though some of the other people scheduled for our group had not shown on time. We had Mike as a tour guide and he was awesome! He took time to answer all of our questions and even took a slight detour so that I could visit the Tun Tavern placard (birthplace of the Marine Corps). Mike then proceeded to call out additional Marine Corps notables through out the tour. The trip was very informative and enjoyable. As we moved through the 10-mile trip, Mike's concern was always safety. I would definitely recommend taking a Segway tour through Philly By Segway, you won't be disappointed. This is my second Segway tour, the first was in Richmond. The training area was a little tight, but D, our tour guide, did very well instructing everyone in the proper use of the Segways. We used headsets to hear D's instructions and commentary. This was the first time I've used these and they made the experience very enjoyable. D took control of the group and made me feel safe while riding in the streets and sidewalks. We were a group of four and had a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend an excursion with D and Philly By Segway.

Great tour of the city. You can see a lot of sites quickly by Segway. Our tour guide was very good, he had a lot of good information and kept the group together. Segway tours are a great way to quickly see a lot of the city. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great family time on the Philly by Segway Tour!! It was a little cold but we were so engaged with the tour and our fantastic guide Barry that we didn’t mind it at all! Barry goes out of his way to keep you safe and also has a great sense of humor and knowledge of the area. He takes pictures for you so you can keep your mind on the tour and on the travel (and that meant I could keep my gloves on too)!!! On our way home we picked up some hot chocolates to warm up and we each shared three things we learned that we had not known before about the city..... and we all had something different to share. This is our second Segway Tour with our 13 year old boys.... always looking to find something that they will think is “cool” to do with the parents!!!

I did the 2 hour tour about 5-6 weeks ago. I had so much fun and the guide was a little nervous, as it was his first time leading the tour, but Sarge was phenomenal. I can say that because he's my husband. From what I've heard from other, non-related guests of the tour, he really is one of the best!!

Great teacher, good experience, the tour was fun, I even got to have a group of people surround me after I passed out on the Segway, I wish it was recorded, but other than that Philly by Segway was really nice, would recommend doing it, and would also recommend not being stupid on the segway

Barry our tour guide was phenomenal! This was the best experience I’ve ever had. My first time on the Segway I was really nervous, I was holding up everyone who was more experienced and I felt like Barry allowed me to have more control of my Segway and the way I was using my body to control it. He is very patient and very knowledgeable about his city. This was an awesome experience and if you’re visiting philly for the first time or just want to explore some of the best streets famous restaurants I highly recommend doing a Segway tour. I loved it so much I am considering doing a Segway tour wherever I can. It’s so fun and gives you the freedom to see everything. We were also recommended some good places to visit and eat and we learned a few different things about the history of Philadelphia. Thank you so much Barry for making my first Segway tour the most memorable experience in my life. These pictures I took were just some of the places we visited by.

The best time! We had never been on Segways before. D was an excellent, patient trainer. He was very astute to what each of us needed and got us all up to speed! The one hour tour ride was so much fun! We saw a great deal of the city. The sound system was great (D had a mic hooked up to our headphones) He kept us in constant communication about our safety and gave clear upbeat directions. I appreciate D's enthusiasm and wonderful customer service. He was very attentive to our experience and showed us an unforgettable time! I would definitely do this again!

Great time 4 others canceled that were mentioned to be in our tour group pretty sure it was the weather that scared them off being a little chilly but with just me and the GF the guide still took u out and it was a blast we will definitely look to do Segway tours in future places we visit (this was both our first time and it was great) the training before the tour didn't take long and seemed to cover all you needed

I've been living in Philly for about 15 years and I never learned about the city till now. Why did I wait so long I don't even know but when I saw the opportunity to take a cheese steak tour of the city on a segway like Paul Bart from Mall cop I was kind of nervous but extremely excited at the same time. My tour guide Mike was extremely patent with me and made me feel no stress at all. I was on tour with a couple he had all of us laughing and having an amazing time. Thank you Mike for a great experience it was pretty awsome being a little duckling.

We took the one hour tour on 1/27/22 and had a great experience! Deshon was sooo patient with our kids and family and made sure everyone was properly trained on the Segways and staying safe! Even though it was very cold outside, Deshon was friendly and ready for action! He showed us around town and we could hear him describe the sights through the audio sets given to us at the beginning of the tour. This was a great, fun experience! Not your typical tour--the Segway really added to the experience! (Dress very warmly if its cold, though!) Philly by Segway exceeded our expectations....Thank you!

We were on a two hour tour. It was a great tour; saw a lot of the city, but don't expect to get too in depth, as you're mostly on the Segway the entire time. It's a great way to get an overview of all the sites. Recommend gloves if the weather is cold, like ours was.

We had an amazing time. We were all first-time Subway Riders but after the brief training we all felt very safe to zip around historical Philadelphia with our guide. Kids and adults alike had a blast. Get there early as parking can be a little tricky

My brother and I really enjoyed the tour. I do recommend having good shoes with good support since you are standing on the segway for a fair amount of time. But I would do this again in a heart beat. Deshon was a terrific tour guide--manuevering us thru traffic while making sure we all had a good experience. There is a breeze while you are on the move, so even a day with excessive heat warning was doable. Bring water bottles but if you forget, you can buy them there also. I would recommend this tour and will look for it in other cities as well.

Good fun. Did a tour Friday 7/31 with three college buddies. One guy was a newbie to Segway, 2 guys had done Segway tour in Richmond with me about 5 years ago, and my first experience was about 7 years ago on a cruise. We all had a ton of fun on the tour. Segway is fun but a bit challenging to learn. D took time with each of us for the indoor training and was very patient; the new guy was navigating thru Philly streets as well as the rest of us. They give everyone a wireless receiver and earbuds (you keep the earbuds) so we can hear him through the tour: this was a nice touch. I will definitely go again and bring the family next time.

This was a fun way to see the city. The hour tour was plenty. They give you a minute to practice which doesn’t seem like enough time but it is. Our tour guide was great, Sophia I think. The reason for 4 stars is because of Segway feet. From standing in the same spot your feet go numb. They tell you to move your feet when you stop which helped but was the only negative and that was not a reflection on the place our tour guide but the overall experience.

Mike was amazing! So knowledgeable, clearly enjoys his job, and really helped us stay safe! One of our members took a spill because she bumped against another rider but Mike quickypr made sure she was okay and also tested the Segway to make sure she was safe to to!! Hope you get Mike when you go!!

This was my very first Segway tour! I had so much fun. I was with my mom and another couple that joined us on the tour. Our tour guide, Owen, was very personable and knowledgeable. The staff is very pleasant and the building and equipment is very well kept and clean. Overall exciting experience and will definitely be back again!

Barry is the man! This was our first time and we had a great time on our tour. Barry was on top of things and made sure that we watched out for potholes and any bumps ahead. A great way to see the city more intimately than a bus but more quickly than walking, and get a great tour. Barry, our tour guide, was fantastic - he was knowledgeable and full of fun facts, but mostly importantly, he was a great trainer for using the Segway (which is very easy once you have been on it for five minutes), kept everyone informed of hazards, and protected us from traffic. We're Philadelphians but had out-of-town guests - and we loved it.

Great experience exploring east Philadelphia! Our guide Victoria was informative, entertaining, and overall wonderful! Explored places we otherwise would never have found ourselves. Great recommendations (restaurants/things to do) for different interests throughout tour. Victoria was diligent in taking many pictures of my husband and I as well as the different spots we explored. Got all the way to the Art Museum and back. Had a great time..highly recommend!!!

Ben gave such a fantastic history lesson during this tour! He knew all the secret stories, and gave totally accurate renditions of historic places. He did not rush spots I wanted to know more about, and helped put everything in context to modern day. I recommend this tour! Segway is such an easy way to see all of the spots in Philly while being outside and having fun!

My wife and I can't brag on this place enough. Ben was our guide. He was AWESOME!!!! He was patient, funny, charming and very informative. We were definitely a little nervous about riding a segway as we've never done it and aren't as young as we use to be (45). We are not exactly health conscience and don't work out or anything so if we can do it I would imagine most people could handle it. The experience itself is an amazing way to see the city and you get lots of information about all the touristy spots and a bit of local history we would never have even known to ask about. Overall I would highly recommend using these guys as a special way to see the city. Im sure all the guides are great but Ben was superb!!!!

Went during the rain and Mike still made it awesome. They have rain ponchos btw. But he's very knowledgeable and has some fun jokes. The 2hr shows you a lot of the city. Fun for any level of Segway experience. We have been to many across the country and it was well done. Get out on a Segway and explore Philly!

Our guide Tory was fun and very knowledgeable. He was excellent about our safety and provided a lot of information in a very short time. There were a number of buildings of historical significance that I would have preferred he spend a little more time with. It was often difficult to look up and stay clear of the construction on many of the streets we were driving on. His references to LGBQ flags, events, celebrations should be minimized. More emphasis on explaining historical locations and a brief reference to LGBQ would have been a better use of my time. I appreciated his enthusiasm and thought his overall demeanor was appropriate for the tour.

Philly By Segway was the best surprise for another visit to Philadelphia! Our tour was led by Barry, who made sure to coach us properly on how to balance oneself on the segway, avoid potholes and other cautious objects, and to remain safe overall during the trip. Highly recommend Barry- he's very attentive and friendly. He asked great trivia questions along the way and took our pictures several times! Thank you again Barry! The tour itself was informative, although the reception on the earpieces were spotty alot of times. Regardless, we got the hang of the segways within a mile of riding, and we had a FANTASTIC time. Can't wait to take another tour with Philly By Segway. You guys rock.

Went on the two hour ride. Well trained for the vehicle. Saw a wide range of downtown Philly. Thought the guide didn't include near enough historical, architectural or info on areas we visited. Also, the ride through the riverside park on the too crowded walking/bicycle path on a Saturday was a mistake.

Amazing experience. This was my first segway experience loved every minute. Over 2 hours starting with full tuition then off on the highway. The guide Barry was fantastic told us so much history about Philly and talk us through whilst being on the segways. They take great pics of your aventure and email them to you. Well worth the value. I will highly recommend and definitely do it again next time I visit Philly.

We just did the Philly cheesesteak tour with these guys and it was fantastic! We have lived in the area for 20 years or so, and have seen 95% of the sights there are to see in Philly, but this tour brought new life to our weekend getaway in town. Our tour guide, D, was awesome. He gave us perfect instruction on the Segways, and was full of fun facts about Philly as we rolled along. We went to Genos, Pats, Jims, and two more recent additions to the cheesesteak scene, as well as a quick and fun tour of Old Town, little Italy, South Street, and Penns Landing. I would recommend this to just about anyone - if you can stand up and eat, you can do this tour.

Our guide Ben ROCKED! He was so warm and inviting. He made it his first priority to get us all proficient in riding the Segway, so we were safe and happy little ducks following our "Papa Duck." Then we took off around the city. We went all the way from the Delaware River to the Schuylkill and everywhere in between. Ben was hilarious and his enthusiasm for Philly was contagious. My Boston friend swears she wants to move here now! He informed and entertained us via the little radios we wore around our necks and, though I'm a long-time Philly resident, I learned all kinds of fascinating things. I'm going to take all my out-of-town visitors on this tour!!!

Omg, what a great time this was! At first I was very nervous about riding it, but after a short lesson from our wonderful tour guide, it was easy. I highly recommend Philly by segway. Ask for Mike as your tour guide, he was great, full of information! & a great time!

The cheese steak tour was awesome. Ask for deshon, he's madd cool. The segways are fun as he'll, I mastered that jawn in like 10 mins. I'm prolly gonna do this again.
