This is how to check out NYC. Great staff who made us feel like we were the only ones there. Pilot was very knowledgeable, witty and glad he was the one we got. Pleasure to talk with. Would suggest a little more info on where to go, when to arrive when booking on trip advisor. Was unclear and trying to find address took some time. But so worth it.

👍 all staff I encountered were professional and friendly from entering the building 'till I left 👍 we were helped so fast! We walked in the building and were riding the helicopter in under 10 mins!! (I've done a tour at another NYC helicopter company and it took us almost 45min just to get boarded on the chopper). 👍 They were flexible and allowed us to take our tour >1 hr before our booked time. 👍 facilities / equipment was clean, well maintained, well-lit and welcoming 👍 Highly recommend!

Maybe someone expect view from Empire state or Rock is enought. Belive me view from helicopter is so cool. You have whole Manhattan on yoir hand. Whole trip is 25 min but and its not cheap, but beleive me its best way how waste your cash :).

We took the $199 per person flight and it was well worth it. They took us over Governer’s Island, Ellis Island, the Hudson River up until Midtown and back. The price may seem a bit high but the impressions were amazing and I can really recommend it. Also, the staff was really nice and assisting. Nice job!

Great Experience! I booked last minute. Like 10 hours in advance and it was a breeze! I went on this tour alone so i got to ride up front with the pilot. What a friendly guy! We even took a selfie together. I had and amazing experience. Very informative tour as well. Even though it was only 15 minutes it felt longer because of all the information he shared. I would definitely go back! Oh! And the staff also take photos of each passenger in front of the helicopter! I thought was a nice touch. And nothing was ever rushed. Just a tip. Get familiar with the area where the heliport terminal is before you book so you dont get lost or late for your reservation.

Welcome by Mister "in the red jacket" not very friendly... But when you have passed this unpleasant person, the staff who take care of you and much more friendly, and smiling ! Security is present, the flight went extremely well, the pilot was very nice, he does a guided tour but unfortunately only in English, we are French and did not manage to understand everything. But that didn't spoil the pleasure we felt admiring New York from the sky, we recommend ++ wonderful memory... Unforgettable!

Very cool views of Manhattan. The pilot was good about calling out landmarks and making sure everyone had a chance to see them. He also joked around a bit with the passengers which was nice. He shared quite a bit of history. We felt safe the whole time and that they really know what they are doing.

We did it for my wife´s birthday and I was a bit reluctant after reading some comments. Our experience was nothing but great. I called in before I made the reservation online and they were very helpful and friendly. I finished the reservation online and our experience was perfect. Very professional and friendly staff that directed us and explained everything to us. The ride was just great. Very comfortable even for a giant (I´m 6´9"). we always felt safe and were able to enjoy every part of the trip. I would definitely recommend it.

Totally worth! Amazing view of New York! It’s worth booking in the last minute since it’s better to do it when the weather is amazing to enjoy a good view. I reserved it 1 day in advance. You should absolutely arrive 30 min in advance in order to complete some paper and leave your stuff in the locker.

Great experience... Pilot very helpful. Only criticism is that most of the staff want to get you through the process as quick as possible, so it feels like a production line. But overall, the most important things were taken care of - a safe flight and a spectacular view. Recommended.

Took my 7 year old on one of these tours. All around it was a excellent experience. As we entered, we were greeted very nicely, staff even engaged in small conversation with us. There was no wait time, from the time we entered to the time we boarded was around 10 minutes. We boarded a helicopter accompanied by two other tourists (helicopter seated 5 passengers, 4 in the back, 1 in the front). The pilot was very informative and friendly. The whole flight was around 25 minutes, which was the flight plan. Overall there were no complaints, I would gladly fly with them again.

Firstly if you buy this, make sure you check how you will get there. It does clearly say but we hadn't realised that it flies from New Jersey not new York, it's really quite far away. It was about 45 minutes in a taxi from the city. Secondly when you get there there are no signs for the company you buy this from. It's a different company which I can't remember the name of now on the building. To be honest the staff in the place you go to first aren't great. Firstly they didn't seem to have any idea about our flight. Then sent us to sit down. Called us, got us to move, said they'd come back and didn't for ages. No explanation. Well past our flight time. It turns out someone was late. We would happily have waited but a little communication would have stopped us feeling annoyed at being left to wait.

Me and my husband did this for his birthday and it was such a great time. The unfortunate thing is that day pack you into the helicopter and it's very tight. They have to know your way so they can distribute the weight evenly on the helicopter so you might not necessarily be sitting next to someone you know. It was great to see the city from above and we were able to get some amazing pictures it was definitely a very memorable birthday for him

We knew we wanted a helicopter tour of New York and booked this in advance of our trip, unfortunately on the day we'd chosen Predient Trump was visiting so we had to reschedule. This was easy to do though and the day we went couldn't have been more ideal conditions. The pilot gave a good commentary throughout and all together we loved it. Very expensive but worth it in my opinion. Once in a lifetime opportunity!

Wow what a great experience, unfortunately the weather wasn't the best for our trip but still really enjoyed the ride. Staff were friendly and helpful, we bought the USB with our photos $35 which was fine, left them $50 which I figured covered the tip too.

My credit card wouldn't go through while it worked fine during our whole trip in NYC. After I contacted my bank, they said the automatic system thought there was a fraudulent action. After I ran to the closest bank to get cash from the ATM, they offered us an upgrade for the hassle so that was a nice gesture. I would've hoped to do the tour by night but unfortunately that's not possible. :-( It was a cool experience anyway.

Unser Urlaub in New York war vor Corona. Ein Heli Flug über New York, was gibt es schöneres. Der Preis hat natürlich erstmal abgeschreckt, aber wie oft ist man schon in New York als normaler Mensch?! Also gebucht. Die Vorfreude war groß und wir würden absolut nicht enttäuscht. Wir werden nochmal nach New York fliegen irgendwann und auch den rundflug nochmal machen. Man bekommt eine Ansicht von New York die man sonst einfach nicht bekommt...wir waren mit 4 anderen Personen + Pilot im Helikopter. Die Personen auf den mittleren sitzen haben eine etwas schlechtere Sicht als die die außen sitzen. Das ist etwas schade. Lohnen tut es sich auf jedenfall und man hat einmalige Fotos. Wer bei seinem New York Urlaub diesen Flug nicht macht, ist selbst schuld.

Wir haben die große Runde gemacht und das kann ich jeden nur empfehlen, ist zwar ein wenig teurer aber jeden Cent wert. Würde auch empfehlen erst zu buchen wenn man in NY ist damit man weis wie das Wetter zum Zeitpunkt des Rundflugs ist. Bei zu schlechten Wetter wir man sich ärgern das gemacht zu haben

It was a unique experience, totally recommended. Something that should be done in life at least once. Before choosing the experience, I was reading and obtaining a lot of information about the companies and the tours that were offered, and the truth is, although I decided to book the New Yorker tour with HeliNY, I was not very convinced about how it would turn out. The attention was great: the day before they called us to confirm and remind us of the appointment, we also received emails and texts as reminders and with the instructions to follow. The day of the flight, when we arrived at the heliport, the treatment was very cordial. And with regard to COVID, all sanitary measures were complied with. When it was time to fly, they told us that since there were no more people registered to fly with us at that time, they could not make the flight. There I began to fear the worst and to remember all the bad things I had read in these types of reviews. However, the person in charge offered us the possibility of doing the tour an hour later, this being a longer one at no extra cost, to which we happily agreed. We took a walk around the area and returned after an hour. The flight was the most complete tour they had, an authentic marvelous experience. The pilot was explaining some of the things that were being seen and to finish off at the end they gave us a souvenir photo. It was a morning that I will always remember. And just as I told the manager, I would explain here so that those who read reviews before deciding could read about my experience.

Good helicopter ride, too short of course (15-18 minutes). But beautiful views. Not easy to take pictures, because we are in a cockpit. The aircraft circled Manhattan above the Hudson River before returning to the heliport.

The first time I took a helicopter trip, I played for 20 minutes, the best parade of my life. The crew was friendly, the booking service was easy, and the communication was smooth. I recommend it to everyone, and I will go again next time.

Great! The staff is very friendly, the tour was great, I took the 15-minute package ($139 + 30 tax) and we stayed 20 minutes in the air, we went to Yankees stadium while we shouldn't have gone beyond central park, the pilot described everything to us, super nice. I hadn't booked and in 1 hour we were already in the helicopter. Everything was well explained to us, the tour we were going to do, the safety instructions etc... And the photos offered at the end are super beautiful, well taken and reasonable in price. A great experience, I recommend.

Heli tour of Downtown Heliport Pier6. Immediately after getting off at South Ferry Station, the last stop of subway line 1. There was a ticket seller with a credit card reader on the way, I bought a ticket from him. $150. $30 is said to be tax I was told about the insurance, but it seems that I only paid $150. No reservation required. The flight path looks at the Statue of Liberty, It's like walking along the Hudson River to Central Park and back. From New York's Central Park You can see the southern skyscraper from above.

If you go to New York you have to: 1.- Travel on the subway 2.- Take a ride on a ferry (even if it's the free one that goes to Staten Island) 3.- Get on a helicopter.
