My fiancée was nervous, as we had never been on a helicopter before, but the man escorting us to the helicopter was so kind and reassuring it really helped. The helicopter ride itself would have warranted 5 stars. However, the staff is extremely nice. They do their jobs well. The views are amazing, especially around sunset when the city is lit up, but you still have some daylight to help keep you oriented. There was a couple before and after us and even though you’re booked back to back you still get your 15 minutes in the sky. Everyone seemed to be tipping $20/ride so be prepared for that.

My parents and daughter went on a last minute planned helicopter ride with pilot Andrew. Jimmy, the golf cart driver who travelled us back and fourth from the helicopter to the building was superb. Him being from Nashville, we was able to explain in detail where they were going on the tour along other places to visit while we stayed in Nashville. Andrew the pilot was pleasant, knowledgeable, and a smooth operator/pilot. They were not scared at all and he took off and landed with ease. We would highly recommended Andrew! You will not be disappointed!

1st time here! Awesome experience! I found this place on Google while looking for things to do in Nashville and it didn't disappoint. I would recommend this to everyone that wants to experience Nashville. The lady's that checked us in were great! The pilots were great! They talked to you during the helicopter ride and pointed places out. It is definitely worth the money! One of the ladies takes pictures before/after your ride. I would recommend getting the flash drive so you can print as many pictures as you want later on.

Talk about crossing off an item on that old bucket list and adding champagne was the way to go! Mi amor and I really enjoyed the helicopter ride and champagne while playing in the air touring Nashville! Yes, there is a look of fear in one photo but I recovered and the ride was lovely!

My Wife and I wanted to do something fun for our one year wedding anniversary, so we booked a helicopter tour to fly over Nashville before dinner. I looked up the time for sunset on the day of our anniversary, which was 6:44pm, there was a 6:40 time slot available and so we knew it was perfect. Our pilot was awesome, we got some great photos of the city at sunset and the Cumberland, the stadium and more. We will definitely be back, I would recommend this to anyone visiting, or for romantic celebrations, it’s a beautiful view as you can see from the photos.

This was a great experience we shared on Valentine's day. Our pilot was very knowledgeable and played the BEST music, and when I say the best, I'm talking Al Green classics to I believe in Miracles by Hot Chocolate, it set the perfect mood for us as we enjoyed a perfect sunset flight. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, I would highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting Nashville. This was our first trip there but I can guarantee it won't be our last!

If you’re in Nashville, do this tour! My husband and I are Nashville natives, so it’s fun for everyone, not just travelers or transplants. We were a little hesitant about the 15 minute bit, but it feels twice as long at least. It’s such a unique way to see the city and the pilot was excellent with all sorts of information and interesting stories. Plus, you’re in a helicopter! Book this tour now!

Absolutely amazing! Treated like royalty from the moment you step in the building. Staff is incredible, friendly, and funny! Pilots are knowledgeable and ensure you have a fantastic time. They also take professional photos for you before you get in the helicopter! You can get these printed out for an additional price but they are so worth it. Can’t wait to go back to Helistar😁

Phenomenal experience! We booked a 15 min tour of downtown Nashville and Music City and it was an experience of a lifetime. Joel-our pilot (who also just so happens to be the owner) was amazing. Andrew did everything to make sure our tour wouldn’t get canceled due to restrictions that would happen later on during the day which we really appreciate! I can’t remember the name of the guy that drove us on the cart, to the helicopter but he was friendly and had a good attitude! I cannot recommend this helicopter tour service enough! This review includes their tour guide Brook. This was a tour I scheduled for my 12th anniversary with my husband. 1) Our dinner ran late and they were more than happy to accommodate us and did so in a very professional manner. 2) To anyone who is scared of heights or jumpy flights, let me assure you both take off and landing were completely seamless. I’ve always been very sensitive to bumpy rides, and if my eyes had been closed I would not have noticed. 3) The views were absolutely gorgeous! Make sure to turn your flash off for optimal picture-taking at night. We absolutely got ALL of our money’s worth and more. My only regret is we didn’t have cash for a tip. Would definitely leave a tip on card if given the option. Thanks Helistar Aviation and Brook!

The staff was super friendly and offered to take amazing photos with our camera. The tour was super informative and definitely something everyone should try! Grant and Mike took great care of us and the flight over downtown was awesome. If I had to nitpick one aspect, it felt like the flight was very short, just a quick loop around downtown and back. The reservation says 15 minutes but I'd be surprised if it was more than 10. Would have loved just a little more flight time.

A fantastic experience. I never got on a plane or helicopter so doing this was very challenging. However, Brook and Cole made my lady and I experience stress free and comfortable. They were professional, on their A game and talked to us the entire time which helped a lot. They cracked jokes however, that’s what made me become comfortable. Check in was virtually timeless, from the time we got there to the time we were off the ground was less than 5 minutes. Brooke, our pilot, was lighthearted, and very informative. He gave us entertaining commentary thought out our entire tour. We definitely had some nerves before going up but the process was so quick and efficient that we didn’t even have time to worry about it at all. Overall, highly recommended!

I have never flown in a helicopter before. This was the most amazing experience i have had. Everything was greatly organized by me even getting a text prior to flying. Letting me know where to go and to be 20 minutes early. We were greeted and welcomed when we arrived. Everything was very professional and we were made to feel comfortable. We were explained very well on what was taking place and how we would be doing everything. The pilot is a very nice genuine person. He makes you feel like your home. He knew alot of neat information to tell us along the tour. Even when we arrived back after our flight. He was super nice and let us take photos. This was an amazing experience and very well worth the money spent. I would highly recommend this business. I plan to bring my two kids back to share this amazing experience with. Not your plane ol memory… Took my 7 year old and 3 year old with me for the 20 min tour of downtown. Flight was incredibly smooth and the kids were amazed. The pilot even allowed my 7 year old, which was sitting up front next to him to control the stick for a few minutes. 10/10 recommend. Easy booking, top 5 things to do, with or without kids who love aviation, planes, helicopters, etc.

For about the cost of a preds ticket you can fly around downtown nashville in a Helicopter at a thousand feet and its incredible. Brook and Cole are awesome and make the experience top shelf. A good trip. The pilot was nice and explained things to us. Towards the end I was nauseous and he was super calm over it and told me where the emesis bags were. It was beautiful. I was scheduled for 1 but didn't get in till 1:15, I don't know why, but that was okay with me I had no rush.
