Great tour with Gage today! He answered every question, was extremely patient with us, and showed us around Milwaukee via the river. My boyfriend and I totally enjoyed the tour and the kayaks are easy to use, light weight, and no problems at all! I recommend this place as you can grab food and drinks right next door. There is free parking as well.

Staff were friendly and working super hard to get everyone on the water. Parking was easy. Kayaks were nice and paddles worked good. They let us know not to paddle into the open water and fitted us with life jackets. It was my fiancé’s first time kayaking and this was the perfect location to get him started. Lots of places to stop and rest. Highly recommend this adventure!

We had a great time on our tour with Brew City Kayak! We did get the wrong address in our confirmation email, but they waited for us to Lyft to the correct location and everything went smoothly after. We enjoyed all of the stops, and had a great time overall! I highly recommend!

We love launching from this spot! I was a first timer for pier launching with a kayak, and these guys gave us some awesome tips! Once we were back, two of the guys helped us pull our kayaks out of the water and carried them to a great loading spot for our car! The manager, Gage, made us feel super welcomed to come back and use the launch in the future! 10/10 if you have your own kayak to launch right by the Hoan Bridge! $10 launch fee per kayak, but they are there to help!

10/10 experience! Chris was our guide and he was fantastic! He shared so many bits of Milwaukee history and is great with beginners and those who've been kayaking before. The kayaks themselves are super sturdy and easy to maneuver, and seeing the city from the river is definitely a worthwhile experience if you've never done it before.

Had a great trip with Brew City Kayak yesterday. We took the Kayak all the way to the Lakefront Brewery. Very fun to see the city from the water and great activity when it is hot in the city. Next time we will try a tour to learn some more about the city. Also if you go on your own, bring some money, there a places to tie up you Kayak and get a snack or a drink!

What an incredible place to get a kayak in the heart of Brew City! Trenton was such a great guy and gave us his full attention as we prepared ourselves to get into the water. Launching was very easy as they have a kayak dock that keeps your boat stable so you can safely get in and out of the water. Can't wait to come back and do it again with these funky yackers!

Every time I’m in Milwaukee, I rent a kayak from this outfit. Its the perfect activity to get a different view of the historic 3rd Ward and beyond. First time kayaking - great experience made possible by great staff It was our first ever kayak experience and we were totally satisfied with the service provided by Brew city kayak. I had expressed our concern to James and Trenton that our group of three including wife and 14 year old daughter cannot swim and are a little nervous about safety but they like to experience kayaking. James and Trenton calmed our fears and made us comfortable during the 3 hours Milwaukee skyline tour. Trenton suggested that to make my daughter feel safe she could sit in the tandem kayak with Him. He helped us with putting on the life jackets. Me and wife were in another tandem kayak. Getting into the kayak and getting out of kayak was made very easy by the staff’s help. As beginners, we were struggling to catch up with the tour group, Trenton suggested we may split off into our own group so that we can enjoy the experience at our own pace. It gave us more confidence since Trenton was with us during entire trip. He gave good tips on navigating the kayaks. By half way mark, we were able to manouvre the kayaks and control the movements much better. I’d like to thank Brewer City Kayak to make our experience totally safe, very enjoyable and memorable. Great time and fun way to see the city - Ian was a great guide for us, and regardless of previous experience kayaking, he took great care in making sure everyone enjoyed the trip. Would recommend the company update automated booking confirmation email to reflect correct address for launch point - it currently lists one address, but then has an asterisks that says it’s now launching from Boone & Crockett… Boone & Crockett is the correct spot.

My group had an amazing experience. The setup was really easy, I loved that they used QR code’s for the waivers to make things efficient and ensured for a really fun time. The staff was knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend using this company because of how professional they were. Also it’s one of the best launch sites in the city! Get a cocktail at Boone after your ride!

I went on "The Beast," the 10 person stand up paddle board and had a blast! I went with 5 other people and the board was pretty stable. No one fell in and people were able to take turns sitting. There were usually 4 people paddling at a time which was enough to keep us moving. There were straps for your feet which provided more stability. We had so much fun and I would give it 6 stars if I could. I highly recommend it!!!

Kayaking with Brew City Kayak was nothing short of an exceptional experience. It was apparent from the start that Brew City has a well-run operation, from bookings to getting set up and the assistance and information the employees provided. A few things that stood out were the friendly atmosphere, the close proximity to Boone and Crockett bar, the sit-on-top kayaks that are perfect for paddling the Milwaukee, as they track well and are very easy to get in and out (not to mention the rope and carabiner combo that makes securing your kayak to the dock very easy), and last but not least, the floating kayak port that allows people of all abilities to effortlessly get in and out of their boats. I highly recommend Brew City Kayak for anyone who wants a fun and memorable experience kayaking the Milwaukee River.

Great Kayak and Paddle board rental place in the Harbor View section of town. Prices are very fair, staff is great and equipment was good. Parking was free and if you are in there in the late afternoon, there are some great food truck places to eat!

These guys are great! They have a yakport so it’s super simple to get in and out of the kayaks. My wife and I rented a tandem yak and cruised the river. We went up to the Bronze Fonz and back which was a perfect 2-hour ride. They even had ice cold water available after our ride. We slammed one of those and then grabbed a beer from the bar attached to the lot.

Easiest and most fun way to tour the river! Brew City Kayak has an awesome kayak port that allows you to get in and out of the kayak very easily without fear of falling in the water. The staff helps get your kayaks in and out and are super helpful. Off-street parking available and conveniently located by Boone & Crockett and Taco Moto. Love it all!

I went on their full moon mke river tour and was not dissapointed! David, the guide, was very patient and was always looking out for all of us on the tour (probably equal to wrangling kittens!). I am unsure if this is normal practice, or we just lucked out. With a beautiful early February weekend, we were given the green light to book a twelve person full moon tour with BCK. Granted this tour isn't for everyone, (and the waiver process and safety measures were extensive as expected). We were able to rent acquire wetsuits through another company and our group came equipped with thermoses of hot chicken broth to keep us warm. There was ice chunks throughout we had to dodge, but both our guides Trenton (T-Bone), and Ian did an exceptional job of both leading the pack and holding up the rear. We didn't get all the way to Lakefront as they might normally do, but we managed to get into the downtown area and see lots of the skyline from the river. It was an amazing evening we'll never forget!!! Thanks BCK!!!!
