We had a fantastic trip on Pam's Hoover Dam tour. She is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She offered to take pictures of us so we could have photos to remember our trip by that included both of us. She gave us so much history of the area that we hadn't heard. The ice water was appreciated, the van was clean, comfortable, with great cool air. The recommendations for food and shows was great. She went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our entire trip. 5 stars for Pam's Dam tour! Thanks for helping make my 40th birthday trip to Las Vegas one to remember. The text I received with pickup location, time, and directions to navigate to pickup location where perfectly precise and greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Mr. Las Vegas tours! It was a perfect way to spend about 4 hours between checkout at our hotel and our flight back home.

Our 3 Hour Hoover Dam Mini Tour was more informative and our tour guide John was fabulous. We not only received facts and intriguing history about the engineering marvel, the sacrifice made in construction, the massive water & energy impact the dam has on four states as well as the marvel of the Pat Tillman Expansion bridge, but John allowed plenty of photo opportunities, bathroom breaks and visiting the tourist shop that we did not expect. He also gave us interesting “notables” on the history of Las Vegas, Boulder City, Lake Mead, the wildlife, and cost-effective dining opportunities on and off the Vegas strip. John was cordial, considerate and engaging with all of us in attendance and it will be definitely worth your time and money to explore one of the extraordinary engineering feats in the world in the Hoover Dam.

Please note that the pick up locations will be at some of the hotels off the strip ( in case you haven't read it on their website yet ). My family and I were staying near Circus Circus and Resorts World, so we walked all the way to Treasure Island for our pick up location. A bit of a walk (About 20 minutes), but I didn't mind too much. Gave me a chance to stop and take pictures along the strip before the tour. Our tour person was Chris. He was nice and informative. Also gave good suggestions on restaurants to try and always encouraged us to ask questions if we had any. Van was clean and comfortable. We met some nice people in our group . Worried you might need to use the bathroom? Don't be. Most places we stopped at had a place to do your business with enough time to look around and take pictures. And we were offered water in case if any of us were thirsty (after climbing up to the Mike O'Callaghan - Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, I definitely was ). We didn't have any issues with our tour at all. It might of only last about 3 hours, but we had a good time! Would definitely go on another tour with them. Dam Pam was an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable, fun and just a pleasure to interact with. This tour was exactly what we needed. We felt like we saw a lot without feeling rushed or without dragging and the info that Pam provided was above and beyond informative. Communication and pick-up were great! It was such a great mini tour of the Hoover Dam. Our tour guide Skip was awesome. He stopped at several places and let us take pictures and he even took pictures of us all with our phones. Very great experience and well worth it. Will definitely do it again.

I’ve seen the Hoover dam before but never like this! Mr. Dennis was an excellent tour guide and super informative. I love history and he gave us all the historical information. He even cracked some jokes and took our pictures. I booked this tour last minute with one hour to make it and I’m so glad I booked. 5 star tour for sure!

Enjoy an excellent tour to Hoover Dam with our party of four. We had the most beautiful day as the temps were in the 80's-a rare treat. The highlight of this trip was our driver Bob! So knowledgeable, kind and patient! When Bob arrived at the Tropicana pickup location he noticed our group was in two separate vehicles and he made sure that we all rode together. This was one of the best tours ever thanks to Bob and his immense knowledge of the history of the Dam, Lake Meade and everything thing in between. He also made sure we were cool and well hydrated. Great narrator! Thank you!

Bob was an awesome tour guide. He told us details about Las Vegas that I honestly had no idea about and some great places to dine at. He was funny and entertaining, too. He stopped at several places and let us take pictures, and he even took pictures of us all with our phones. Very great experience and well worth it. Will definitely do it again.

John knew SO MUCH about everything we passed on the way to the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam, and so much more. He was very enjoyable as a tour guide. Extremely kind and joked around a bit too without making anyone uncomfortable. Best Dam tour ever!!!

Great experience and tour, highly recommended if you need a quick dam tour without taking a full day. Our guide / driver Gary was excellent, he is so knowledgeable on dam history, Las Vegas history and everything in between. He made The whole experience that much better.

The tour was great. Very interesting and informative. Our tour guide Bob, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure we had great memories. My husband was unable to climb to the top to the bridge so he made sure he was comfortable in the van and made sure I was okay climbing the stairs and that I had pictures by the dam. Great experience!!

Gary did a awesome job. Very friendly and very well knowledge on everything. You get a personal tour experience unlike the big bus tour. Any questions we had he answered. Recommend this tour and did to our group when we got back to the hotel. It's nice also it's a shorter one so if u have a later flight or just and a afternoon or morning open fits Schedule.

Pam was my tour guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful if you needed help taking any pictures! I was picking up at Excalibur along with others who also purchased a ticket for the event. I did this tour solo and it was wonderful! Since I got the upgrade tickets to see the Seven Magic Mountains that occurred first then stopped at various stops on the way. The last stop was the Hoover dam. It was a great way to spend a few hours seeing a different side of The Vegas Strip!

We were apprehensive about the tour and the pickup and everything in between but it was a perfect start to the day for an 8am to 11am trip! John our tour guide was top notch. Great tour when on a time crunch. Our flight was not till the evening therefore we booked this tour to not waste any precious time.. loved it! We were picked up and dropped off exactly as promised.. we made a stop to see the horn sheep's they were so nice to see.. the hoover dam was spectacular.. the driver was super nice and informative.. bus was clean and new. Overall great experience I would definitely recommend!

What an amazing tour this was!! Chris our guide was phenomenal!! As we left the strip he gave information on different shows and restaurants. Driving to Hoover Dam he was so very knowledgeable of the history of the dam. He was terrific!! He took pictures for us. He even helped a woman who was not on our tour retrieve her hat! We enjoyed the trip very much! Dam Pam, our guide, was a walking “Google “! She was very informative and knew so much of the history of the area. The dam was impressive, the scenery was amazing, and the amount of time was just right! We added the 7 Monuments side trip in. It was so unusual to see this colorful “rock art” in the middle of the desert. A bit underwhelming but not that far out of the way. We had 4-5 stops on the trip which was good. Even saw a herd of mountain sheep at one of them! Loved that the tour was a small group. Very enjoyable!

My boyfriend and I had a great time on Pam's Dam Tour! We did a mini combo tour of Seven Magic Mountains and the Hoover Dam - such a great way to get out of the craziness of Las Vegas. Pam was also so knowledgeable, having direct ties to the construction of the Hoover Dam. In each of the places we stopped, Pam also offered to take photos for us which was great. The Hoover Dam portion in particular was very well done with accurate historical knowledge being shared. This tour is about 4 hours total and easy hotel pickup - would highly recommend.

We were looking for some excursions to explore some of the natural beauty around Las Vegas, but they were all either all day or booked up quickly. We were visiting for a concert, we didn't have the time. I kept looking and stumbled across Mr. Las Vegas Tours. It was perfect. My family and I took Pam's Dam Tour, and what an awesome and informative experience from beginning to end! Pam picked us up promptly at the pickup spot, offered us water to beat the heat, and we were off. We visited the 7 Magic Mountains for fun photos, and as we traveled to the Hoover Dam, Pam shared the Dams history, including information on the workers, the town they lived in, and general history on how Vegas came to be. We each learned more than what we expected, and truly have a great appreciation for the importance of water conservation. We did a small group tour to the Hoover Dam that lasted 3 hours and it was amazing! Honestly-I wasn’t interested in seeing the Hoover Dam but the people I was with were and it went above and beyond my expectations! Bob was a great tour guide and took us to great parks and sight seeing areas. He was filled with so much interesting knowledge. If you want to see the Hoover Dam but don’t want it to take half a day, I highly recommend this tour! The van was very comfortable and had a cooler filled with water bottles! I would do it again!!

We had a great tour experience. Pam was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable about all the areas we visited. She made sure to point out special sites along the way, helped take pictures of our group, and was very accommodating the whole trip. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the Hoover Dam area but not have to devote an entire day to the trip. The 3 hours seems to be a perfect amount of time - we never felt rushed and had plenty of time at each stop to see all we wanted.

Joel was our fantastic tour guide today. Very pleasant, knowledgeable and funny. We enjoyed learning about the Dam and the local history. Joel made sure we stayed hydrated, and we appreciated that water was provided. Our only critique was that due to an issue with the speaker system, some of us in the back of the bus weren’t able to hear very well. Overall a great trip!!!

The tour bus was on time actually called me because I was sitting in the wrong area the guy kept the bus nice and cool he was very knowledgeable of the area and I appreciated the fun facts and stories that was given it struck my interest of the Hoover Dam. Great tour of the bridge, dam and Boulder City. This did not include an inside tour of the pumps of the dam but had several stops for excellent views and overlooks of the dam and bridge. They were great with texting where and when the van would pick you up. If they are running behind they give you a number to call and they are quick to get back to you on when your driver will arrive. There was a ton of traffic the day we went so our driver was a few minutes behind. No big deal on our end. We were greeted by Chris, he opened the door for us and offered us water. Once we got on the road he was very knowledgeable about places on the strip and really everywhere he took us during our tour. Chris was great at giving details about random places on our trip as well as Boulder City and the dam. He kept things very light and kept joking with us the entire time. Chris stopped a few places along the way and gave us plenty of time to take in the views and tell us all about how the dam became what it is today and what has been happening with the dam since it was built. He even offered to take pictures of everyone at each stop. Chris had a background in photography so that was very helpful. On our way back he told us about great places to eat and different activities to do. He was very friendly and would definitely have him as a guide again.

Great tour! Pam was incredibly knowledgeable and you can tell she loves her job. She was passionate about the history and did not leave out any details. We stoped at the magic mountains which was cool and each stop at the dam was great. For sure recommend this tour and if your lucky Pam will be your guide! Also they provided cold water which was great considering it’s always about 110 at the dam!

The tour was above and beyond what I had anticipated for the mini Hoover dam tour (which included a stop to 7 magic mountains). We left a bit after noon and returned by 4:30pm. We had reasonable stop times, well enough to snap some beautiful photos and even got to visit the Hoover Dam Gift shop! When walking on the bridge, be prepared for strong winds! (or maybe it was just during my visit) There was a cooler filled with bottled water to quench our thirst if we needed/wanted it. The text messages prior to the trip were helpful and I was able to get picked up at the hotel I was staying at which was not on the initial stop list. Our tour guide ; Christopher(?) did an awesome job with the history of the Hoover Dam and was very insightful about Las Vegas.

Bob our tour guide is very informative . Wonderful historian of Lake Meade and Hoover Dam .Even passengers from different tour groups stop to ask questions! Nice personality. Very considerate. Held my hand while going down the bus steps . Showed photos of water levels before the drought . Bob allows the tour group time to view the sights with no pressure. Comfortable drive . Highly recommend Bob and go to tour in the morning. Otherwise the Nevada heat will make outside observations uncomfortable. We had overcast and still hot 🥵 . Learned a lot during the tour !!!🤩Was fun filled educational experience. You appreciate the men who built Hoover Dam !!!

Skip, our driver & tour guide, was full of stories, local lore, and bits of history. Charming and entertaining the entire excursion. He definitely made the 3 hour tour seem more like 2 hours 55 minutes tops! (My joke to you...). I highly recommend this tour. You get to see the best views...the best attractions...and you won't get lost! Comfortable searing and you can leave the driving to 'them.'

We were upgraded to the 3hr Seven Magic Mountain-Hoover Dam Tour and me and my friend were blown away by everything we saw! Skip, our guide, was top-notch the whole way through the tour as well as his dad jokes. If we did this again, I'd hope to have him again. As we sadly only had two days to experience Vegas, this tour was the perfect amount of time to see what you want without taking too much time at each spot.

Best experience ever! This was the most fun we had in Vegas. Our tour guide, Chris deserves ten stars. He was smart and sassy, a perfect combo for the ride. Pictures of the dam do not do it justice, it is a true marvel. The work these men did during the Great Depression with just a shovel and concrete while working in the desert heat for ten cents an hour will humble you. The current draining of Lake Mead without a solution to replace the water currently being used will scare you and make you an activist. The whole tour was an eye opener.

Perfect length for a tour 3 hours. We got lots of great pics along the way. At Hoover Dam walking over that bridge was super windy but that was unusual per our tour guide. It was perfect weather otherwise. Chris was our guide he was great and very knowledgeable about the history of the area. So sad to see Lake Meade down 30 feet. It is a serious situation that needs attention immediately!

Done the 3 hour Hoover Dam tour our tour guide Bob was great!! Had tons of information for us on each stop even took pictures at each destination. Buses are nice and air conditioned and water is provided. Make sure you have comfortable shoes and cash if you want to tip the guide!! Would definitely do again!!

He made us feel welcome from the start..he’s a wealth of information regarding Hoover Dam and as a long time resident of Las Vegas he shared great tidbits of this area regarding casinos, prohibition, gambling, great places to eat and so much more..we traveled in comfort and he even made sure we stayed “hydrated” by providing ice cold water in the desert heat.. His subject matter expertise on the concerning water level of Lake Mead brought much needed awareness and education for us and our kids. In addition to taking some family pictures along the tour, he also provided recommendations for eating places and other activities while we are here in Las Vegas. We were only able to book the mini tour at Hoover Dam, but it was a fantastic time! John was our tour guide, and so very knowledgeable about the dam. Well, he was well versed in all aspects of Las Vegas! He explained all the angles of the dam, told us about landmarks on the way, took pictures of me with my mom who toured as well. He would even count down for a side of the ride pic. Lol! He’d count down for us saying, “coming up on the left in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Get it now!” He was amazing, and fun! If I ever come back to Vegas I’ll look up Mr. Las Vegas for the Grand Canyon tour. My mother, and I, were both well pleased! Thank you!

This was a perfect tour for this couple of mid 70 year olds. Melissa is an excellent guide, always making sure each passenger got the most from the tour. We considered the scenery the equal, maybe better, than that of Red Rocks. Not to mention the Big Horn sheep in Boulder City. Of course the dam and adjacent highway were stupendous examples of what humans can do. We were picked up and dropped off very near our hotel precisely on time A very welcome feature to foot weary tourists who hate standing in the cold. Yes, Las Vegas can be cold. First, I have been on many tours in various cities and some in other countries but this was the best tour I have ever had, and my wife agrees. More recently, I toured the five Burroughs of NYC while atop of a tour bus. I enjoy getting insights of this famed city, especially as we passed the United Nations, Harlem, and Brooklyn. A fun and interesting tour but not my best. I toured Chicago while riding in a tour boat in Lake Michigan. A great tour but not my best. I even took a tour of the 2.5 mile track of the Indy 500 complete with the ominous sounds from thousands of fans and massive roars of auto engines. I thought that was my best; until Yesterday. Yesterday, my wife and I boarded a Mr Las Vegas tourbus along with 13 other complete strangers from throughout the USA. The savvy, well experienced, tour guide, treated us to a relaxing, fun-loving, educational tour. It was labeled as a tour of the Hoover Dam (HD) but his interesting and educational dialogue began as we safely sped down the financial district of Las Vegas Blvd. It became a history lesson unlike any that I have ever had. I had never taken interest in the HD; I simply wanted to see it and to remove it from my bucket list. But this tour came complete with interesting tales of the history of Las Vegas, the influx of the Vegas Raiders, the next booming neighbor, Henderson NV, the struggles and toils of finishing the dam sooner than predicted and at a cost lesser than projected. We also heard much concerning the imminent problem with water due to historically little rainfalls and the dwindling water level in the dam. So in short, we had the tour of a lifetime yesterday while aboard a tourbus/van driven by a young articulate, humorous and astute gentleman who made the Hoover Dam tour the highlight of my 5-day tour of Las Vegas. Thank you Chris! (I may have forgotten his name but never the 3-4 hours we spent during the tour; my wife agrees!)

If I could give them 10 plus stars, I would. From booking to drop off the service provided was exceptional, bar none. Dan, who was our initial point of contact, was very responsive and informative. The day of the tour he called in advance to provide pick-up status and kept us informed until our tour guide arrived to pick us up. I can’t say enough good things about our tour guide, John. He was very friendly and took the time to engage with everyone in our group. While not a native of the area, he was very knowledgeable about not only Boulder City and the Hoover Dam but he provided great information on Nevada as a whole. At each landmark, he took the time to take pictures for everyone individually and group photos. He was the best, this company is the best even after drop off their greatness continued to shine through. After the tour, I went shopping and while checking out at the cash register I discovered that I had misplaced my wallet. I retraced my steps and my wallet was nowhere to be found so I called Dan in panic mode. He was calm and assured me that everything would be okay to calm my nerves. He asked me to hold the line so he could connect with John, our tour guide. He connected with John, and John confirmed that my wallet had been left on the van. He remembered that I was flying out later that evening and immediately volunteered to drive the 20 plus miles to return my wallet. He returned the wallet untouched, and refused to take a tip. We hugged and departed ways but I will always be forever grateful for his generosity. I would recommend Mr. Las Vegas Tours a million times over!

Our tour to see Hoover Dam was just about perfect. We were picked up at exactly the time indicated. The tour guide was knowledgeable and pleasant and gave a running commentary throughout the tour. We were able to walk the bridge at Hoover Dam and see a spectacular view of the dam. An unexpected, yet wonderful thing was when we stopped at the Lake Mead National Park, we were able to walj up close to a small herd of wild Big Horn Mountain Sheep who were grazing on the small lush grass and clover oasis of the park. They were stunning! Our combo tour included a short trip to the Seven Magic Mountains which we also loved. Our tour guide was amazing and we made sure to give her a good tip in thanks for her excellent performance and extra care she provided by giving us icy bottles of water, hand sanitizer and for the concern and care she showed to a handicapped elderly passenger.

Didn't go inside any buildings at the dam. So if you want something more in depth about the inner workings, this is not the tour for you. It was what we expected and very pleased overall. This was a very relaxing and enjoyable venture! Our driver Chris was very curtesy, communicative and knowledge. Although the tour was of the Dam, he provide interesting information of sights along the way including the town of Henderson and Boulder. The tour bus was clean and comfortable and small enough to feel intimate. We were given ample time during our stops for snacks, bathroom breaks and photo shoots.

We had limited time and this trip checked the box of getting to visit Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. Our driver over talked. We had to wait for our 9th passenger only to learn that they cancelled and then again at a gas station for the tour company to send him the entrance code. We did enjoy great views and were also able to see big horn sheep. We got back 35 minutes later than advertised.

I was born and raised in the southwest and brought my best friend on her first trip to Vegas. We booked this tour because she wanted to see the Hoover Dam and the desert (she is born and raised in Hawaii). Chris, our tour guide, was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable about the city, state and environment that I even learned things. He was funny and kept the entire group engaged in conversation through the entire tour. He even kept us entertained with an endless supply of dad jokes. You get way more than you pay for, I would highly recommended taking this tour the next time you find yourself in Las Vegas.

Great experience all the way around. Our tour guide arrived promptly at 7:30 at the flamingo. We were staying at the MGM Grand, so we did have to walk across the street, which was no big deal. Our tour guide was informative, funny, and noted interesting facts the whole tour. I would highly recommend this tour for a quick morning getaway. Going in the morning was great to avoid some of the crazy August heat as well. Mid tour we were given water and there was a bathroom stop available if needed. Great tour if you didn't want to be away all day.

This was my second trip to Vegas and I was determined to see the Hoover Dam! Chris was an awesome guide! To start, while still at the pickup location, he called and advised he would 15 minutes late ensuring we didn't stand in the hot sun wondering what was going on. Chris kept the tour lively providing past and current facts along the ride. We stopped in Boulder City and saw mountain sheep! We had a great time and I have tons of pictures to remember the day. Take a trip off the strip and enjoy a tour, ask for Chris, and enjoy the day! You won't be disappointed!

We're did the 3 hour mini your of the Hoover Dam with Michael as our driver / guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and outgoing. He really knew his stuff and was willing to answer any questions we had. He took us out of the way to dinner places that aren't normally on the your to try to catch a glimpse of long horned sheep and even though there were none to be seen, we still appreciated the effort. Highly recommended. Be aware that you do not go into the Hoover Dam, just along the top and on the Memorial Bridge as well as some other locations where you can take pictures and see the views.

It was fun and informative. I hadn't been to Hoover dam since about 1992. The bridge does give a unique view. Wish we cooks have also walked on the dam itself. The experience of looking down and seeing just how massive it is was missing. I wish the mask mandate had been better followed. A couple guys had to be told to put it on and they almost immediately pulled them down. A woman started coughing about midway though the trip. She'd pull he mask up to cough, then pull it back down. By the time we got back to Vegas, she was coughing fairly steadily. I got off at the first possible stop.
