Everything from the first email to the final stop was perfect! Our driver/tour guide Chris was very knowledgeable and offered great information throughout our four-stop private tour. Chris arrived exactly on-time and explained the rules to us before we departed on out jaunt. He was able to keep our group on schedule without making us feel rushed, which is no easy task with our "Borderline ADHD" group. I highly recommend using GR Beer Tours for a fun experience without the need to find parking and risk driving from stop to stop. One suggestion if you're planning on booking, though. Avoid City Built until the COVID thing is over. The beers on tap were extremely limited, as they understandably are focused on retail packaging until tap room business picks up. While the beer we had there was good, we weren't able to try the variety of different beers like the other stops. None of this was GR beer tours' fault, and Chris did a great job of making sure we walked away satisfied.

So worth it, costs less then Uber, fun, educational, enlightening. Made friends with the other people on the tour. Highly recommend this for anyone coming to the area.

Brian was a great beer tour guide that didn't just drive us from one brewery to another, but also shared knowledge of the breweries, their initial purpose of the buildings, some history of the town, and explained beers well. I never did feel rushed. It was great that the end of the tour there was someone to drive the van and he could party with us. When I come back to GR, I will definitely use GRBeer Tours.

My wife and I had a wonderful time on the beer tour. The group was small enough for everyone to fit in the van, and to get to know your fellow beer drinkers. We took the Mitten - City Built - Creston tour, three breweries north of downtown, and each stop was a great experience. The guide gave us historical tidbits about the breweries, as well as some basics of beer. We were given a brewery tour at City Built, and time to eat some excellent tacos. Would definitely recommend.

This was everything I was looking for in a beer tour and then some! Our tour guide and driver Brian was extremely knowledgeable in describing all the beers we sampled and was able to tell us a little history behind the various breweries we visited as well. I would highly recommend going on one of Brian's Grand Rapids beer tours!

If you would like to experience the beautiful holiday lights in the comfort of a warm trolley, this is the tour for you. This particular tour went from 6-9. The trolley arrived at 5:52 and I got on the bus and boy did we have fun. The drive around downtown and Rosa Parks Circle was spectacular. We made a stop at City Built Brewery. Picked up a few roadies and back at it. We viewed some wonderful displays in neighborhoods and went through the LMCU Ballpark display. After the LMCU display, we ventured into the hills of Comstock Park and met Santa at one of the houses. Then we were off to the Brewery Vivant. There were about eight of us on the tour and we all requested that we have a drink and relax for a few. It was great. The Sangria was excellent and I shared the beer cheese and breads. Omg, so good! Our server Andrew was attentive and kind . The bathrooms were clean and the brewery is handicap accessible. Back on the trolley. We viewed some displays in EGR and then back to the start, with dropping us off across from Founders Brewery. Our driver was Phil and did a fabulous job. The weather and roads were pretty bad but our driver Phil was amazing. Would I book this tour again? Yes, I would!
