I was looking for an all inclusive resort to take my wife to for our 40th wedding anniversary. I found the Hyatt Zilara in The Dominican Republic. I started searching for videos on YouTube about the resort. I found the Penyak’s video and they highly recommended this resort and said they also had a travel agency and could probably save us money and that they didn’t charge a fee for their service. I called them and decided to let them plan our trip. This was the best decision I could have made. Janet and Lindsey made everything so easy. The night before we were to leave, the airline canceled our flight out of Charleston. I immediately called Janet and in less than an hour she had us booked on another airline at no additional cost to us. I can’t say enough about the Penyak Travel Agency. We will most definitely use them again. And by the way, the resort was amazing!! We will go back there again. Charles and Cheryl Taylor

We literally cannot thank Lindsey enough for always planning such wonderful vacations for us. We just returned from Hard Rock Puerto Vallarta, and the resort recommendation was JUST what we needed! I think this is our 4th or 5th vacation planned through Lindsey with Penyak and each time our experience just gets better! A little review on Hard Rock Puerto Vallarta: Just Go!! This resort was smaller than the others we've been to. For us, it was absolutely perfect. Everything is within very short walking distance. It allowed us to run up to the room easily, meet eachother for dinner without planning far ahead, personable environment, and no waiting on transportation! There are 4 main restaurants which was great because we got to try all of them. No wait, exceptional service and delicious. Italian was out of this world!! The environment is more American than the other resorts. Being hard rock, they play lots of really good music, but mostly American. Didn't bother us a bit- just wanted to share in case someone was looking for a more authentic feel. For us, it felt super relaxing and familiar, and very relaxing. I can't stress enough how it was 100000% what we needed during this chaotic time in our lives! (If you're in need of a quick getaway this is the perfect spot) Check in, check out and room service was all quick and easy. They actually have a nice variety of food on their late night menu! I 100% recommend the Dimond Ocean view suite. The view was incredible and the spa tub in the room was a very nice luxury but the other rooms also seem to have a great view also, just smaller balconys! Transportation for arrival and departure from the airport was quick and easy. Just a 15-18min drive from the resort depending on traffic. If you want a spot at the pool, put towels out by 9AM. Beach is less crowded. The pool service was so, so good! We never waited long at all for anything. (Top notch drinks, if that's your type of thing. Not "watered" down like you may get at some all inclusives" The entertainment shows are incredible! We saw the Fire Show, Rock Circus and Michael Jackson. They're all wonderful but MJ took the cake! Thanks again! Can't wait for our next adventure!!

Penyak Travel put together a perfect honeymoon for us in St. Lucia! We stayed at Sandals Regency La Toc. Janet’s experience and expertise was evident in her ability to put our entire trip together- and exceeded all of our expectations! My husband and I used Penyak Travel for our honeymoon this year, we had an idea of where we wanted to go but not much of an idea on how to get started with excursions and wanted to avoid the back and forth of booking flights and managing transportation from the airport. Thank goodness we used Janet! She definitely had to work harder for us with COVID restrictions and us not knowing if we'd be able to renew our passports in time. Janet was awesome to work with. She was responsive to all of questions we had in selecting a resort and made all of the arrangements. The communication was timely and provided all of the details , the only thing we had to do was to pack for the trip! We even had a slight hiccup on Christmas Eve, that potentially could have caused us to cancel or postpone the trip. I sent a text to Janet, she responded immediately and called me to get the details. We were able to resolve the issue and she even followed up with us on Christmas morning to make sure everything was ok. With regards to the trip, everything was prepared for us, including transportation to and from the Cancun airport (which can be crazy at times) and we did not have any thing to worry about during the whole trip. The resort was awesome and the staff made us feel like we were the most important guests from check-in thru check-out. I would recommend utilizing Penyak Travel for all of your vacation planning, because we certainly will.

It's been a lifelong dream of mine to experience the incoming planes over Maho Beach in St Maarten and my wife and I decided to make this dream a reality as we approach our 30th anniversary. Being the travel organizer I am, I already knew exactly what we wanted, where we were going to stay, etc. I just didn't want to go through the hassle of booking it all. I contacted Penyak out of the blue as my new daughter-in-law had used them a couple of times and listens to their podcasts. From the moment I told them exactly what I wanted, they took care of every minute detail. We recently used Penyak Travel to help us book a trip to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We discussed with Janet what we were looking for in our trip and she provided us with multiple options at multiple price points. We ultimately settled on Sandals Negril. On the eve of our trip we were notified by the airline that our flight to Charlotte was delayed 3 hours which meant we were not going to catch our connecting flight to Montego Bay. This delay meant that our negative Covid test would expire if we lost a day of travel trying to get to Montego Bay (negative test needed to enter Jamaica). We texted Lindsay as to what we should do and within 5 minutes Janet Penyak was in contact with us to help solve our problem. At 11:30 pm on a Friday night Janet was working the phones and was able to get us back into Charlotte to catch our connecting flight. If your wondering if a travel agent is necessary we can assure you it is! If your looking for a travel agent we most certainly recommend Janet Penyak and her team at Penyak Travel. The communication from day one was crystal clear. We were provided all the proper information with covid protocols, customs, packing tips, and resort info. This level of commitment and service is hard to find in any industry so we are very grateful to Janet Penyak and the Penyak Travel team. BTW, Sandals Negril was amazing! Great food, great staff and long days on the beach! Thanks Janet!

Janet asked for some specifics on what was most important to me in the resort, location, etc. Janet provided me some options with pricing, we ended up picking St. Lucia, Sandals Halcyon, and were not disappointed! Janet nailed what we had asked for and we loved the resort itself. Janet and Lindsey were very responsive in answering any questions we had (most due to travel circumstances because of COVID). Janet with Penyak travel has been helping me plan both domestic and international trips for now vet 5 years. We have taken several cruises that she helped plan and everything always goes perfect without any headaches with her planning assistance. Most recently, my wife and I took an anniversary trip to San Francisco and Napa Valley. Janet once again set up our airfare, hotel arrangements, excursions in San Francisco and even offered suggestions for restaurants and wineries in Napa. We used Penyak Travel for our trip to the Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana and Janet did the best job planning everything for us and made sure that our entire trip was seamless. She was able to get us a super great deal with an amazing room and view. She was so detailed and organized and it made our lives so much easier. She knew all the tricks and small details that we were extremely thankful for once we arrived in the DR. If it wasn't recommended from her to get our Covid tests beforehand we would have been pulled out of the line at the DR airport to do a test in a super hot airport office. Thankfully Janet recommended that we also get a private transportation service to take us to and from the resort which we were SO glad we did since it can be super confusing trying to find a ride when you get past luggage claim. We will definitely use the Penyak Travel Company again for all of our future travel needs.
