Had such a fun time on this tour. Our tour guide, Shannon, was so knowledgeable and fun to hang around North Boston with. Come HUNGRY because you will leave stuffed. And also have the best cannoli of your life

Gabriel was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable about the food and food history. He gave us recommendations and I really enjoyed all of the food. I do wish this tour had a lobster roll but Gabriel did give us a few places to go.

A friend and I did a Secret Food Tour in Boston led by Gabriel, and it was a phenomenal experience. Not only did we get a TON of food for this type of tour, we got an incredible, interesting, and funny education not only about the food we were eating and how it tied to history and Boston, but also about Boston history in general! Gabe was super knowledgeable and hilarious. We had an amazing time. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

We really enjoyed our food tour despite it being a very rainy day. Our tour guide, Avery, was excellent! The food was fantastic, with good sized portions! I highly recommend this tour. One of the best we’ve been on.

As someone who frequents Boston, I have as pleasantly surprised to find so many hidden jewels. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable and the food was fabulous. I highly recommend this tour as a new way to view the city.

Fantastic tour. Did this tour 15yrs ago and this time around was equally as fantastic. Gabriel was the best guide I’ve had for any tour. We learned so much and had a great time learning and eating. Highly recommend.

I have to give a major shout out to our tour guide, Stuart. Everyone on our tour loved him. He provided so much information on Boston's history along the way, but also was just fun, friendly, and upbeat and patient with all of us on a very busy day in the North End, with a Christmas parade going on simultaneously with our tour. Food was really good and we so enjoyed meeting everyone that attended the tour with us, including new friends from Canada and CA and FL. Group is small enough that you get to meet everyone. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Would highly recommend.

GABE IS FREAKING AMAZING! The food was tasty and plentiful, but Gabe and his love of food took the whole tour to another level! I was also celebrating my birthday and Gabe made it extra special!
I really loved that this tour has a mix of classic Boston food institutions, as well as newer food spots that you wouldn’t think to try if it wasn’t for this tour! Lobster rolls was a clear highlight, but what really took the cake for me was settling the Mike’s vs Modern Pastry cannoli debate! I had been a long time fan of one of them, but really had my eyes opened to the other lol!
Even if you think you know Boston - it’s history and food - this tour gave the city new light for me! (Still dreaming of that cannoli!!)

My wife and visited Boston recently. Delicious local flavors in a beautiful city full of history. Gabriel was our guide and he was extremely informative and very friendly. It was a real highlight of the trip.

Opportunity to try some things you would not normally try. Enjoyed the tour with Avery as he had a lot of local facts to share. Food was really good and he pointed out a few additional places to grab some good things to eat.

My husband and I loved the secret food tour in Boston! We are so full by the end of it, and each spot had something delicious to try! Our tour guide Gabriel (Gabe) was amazing! He was friendly, funny, a history buff, and was awesome throughout! I highly recommend this tour, and Gabe as a tour guide!

I decided to book this secret food walking tour in Boston and left very full and happy :) The group was small and Shannon, our guide provided information that was tailored to all of our interests. I was primarily interested in historical tidbits, navigating around Boston, and other good places to eat and drink. Thank you Shannon!

My husband and I recently booked a secret food tour in Boston. Our guide Shannon was very personable and knowledgeable of not only Boston, but also the history of the restaurants we visited. Italian, seafood, it was all delicious. Just a “taste” of Boston history between food stops, so if you want to walk the freedom trail, plan on that for another day. We booked a private tour and it was well worth it!
Alastair Taylor
Just finished the tour and it was amazing. Our guide Taylor was great - very knowledgable about Boston, it's history and the North End area. We visited restaurants, a delicatessen and the fantastic Boston Market which is a must visit if you haven't been. The food was superb, especially the sandwich from the deli. Met some really interesting people from the USA, Canada and the UK. We would definitely recommend this tour.

As a local of the Boston area, I expected the tour to be more tourist-y and hit just the big spots. Instead, what I got was some awesome food from places didn't even knew existed! Leah was a very knowledgeable tour guide who was a wealth of interesting information about the history of Boston and the many different places we stopped for food! I would recommend everyone, from tourists to locals, take this tour!!!

Was so excited to go on this tour! From all the great reviews I was expecting the best. Our guide was great! The food was excellent. From the food to the history to the insider information we could not have asked for more! While touring and tasting she fed us fun facts about the chefs, neighborhoods, and the cuisine. Thank you Secret Food Tour Boston!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful tour with Taylor on Monday the 3rd of December. She is a credit to their organization and we really thought the experience was first rate.
We were able to use what we learned to plan our further eating adventures in Boston, which was a bonus! And, Taylor was able to fill in some aspects of local history as well.
We will definitely use "Secret Food Tours" in other cities in the future based on this positive experience in Boston.

The guide, Liam, and, of course, the food were great. Liam was easy going and very knowledgeable about the history of the North End and the food. Loved the Pumpkin Ravioli at Bencotto and the lobster rolls in the food court.

My girlfriend and I had an absolutely fantastic time with Thatcher on our Secret Food Tour; he and his tour was truly a pleasure to experience. While knowledgeable and passionate, Thatcher was also extremely personal and clearly loves what he does. He and this program made for a wonderful day for us, and I can only imagine he's doing the same regularly with his other tours.
Dan Rodriguez
Awesome tour. Great food and our tour guide, Shannon, was awesome too! Would recommend

Really enjoyed our walk around the North end with our guide Jessie! We took the tour on a weekday, and had just one other couple with us.
The food we tried was all very good, and seemed to be authentic little Italy food of high quality.
Highly recommended way to spend a couple of hours and eat some great food!
Kiana Pearson
Our guide imparted so much information as we travel from spot to spot. She gave us tips about sightseeing and great places where to eat and not to eat. It would be beneficial to do this tour on the first day of your travel as it would help you make the most out of your stay in the city. Two thumbs up for this food tour! Can’t wait to try their other food tours soon!
JC's Custom Shutters
Our scheduled tour was cancelled due to no available tour guide, but we were contacted and given other dates we could change to. The tickets were reissued quickly and had excellent customer service via email. Unfortunately it rained the entire tour but that did not stop our tour guide to give our group a great experience. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The restaurants they chose were exquisite, with great food and service. If you are looking for food tour do not pass this one by! Hats off to a great food and guide experience !!

Thatcher Miner was outstanding-very knowledgeable on the history of the city and the fantastic food provided on the tour. We would do it again. Thanks Thatcher.

This is such a fun tour. Not only do you get to eat some incredible food, but you also get to learn more about the history of Boston's North End and meet some great people.
Fair warning though, you will be eating a lot of food. Be sure to pace yourself. At first the portions might seem small to some, but they add up quickly! Our favorite was, surprisingly, the pumpkin ravioli. This is such a unique dish that we probably would have never ordered on our own.
Definitely recommend Secret Food Tours Boston!

This was by far the best tour I’ve ever been on. Johnathon was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the history of the city. Make sure you come with an empty stomach because this will be some of the best food in the city.
