We had a blast! The crew of Urban Pirates truly gave us an adventure that was entertaining, fun, and participatory. We brought our own drinks along and UP provided additional pirate spirits making us compete for a shot of their grog. Great time, great staff, great value. We'll do it again for sure.

Such a blast! Went on the evening cruise for a friend’s 30th and it was a night to remember! The crew is super into the gimmick and really makes the experience. Everyone gets tattoos and pirate names. The views of the harbor at sunset were excellent. We played little games and got eye-patches and swords (for a little extra). Surprisingly affordable activity ($25/person). Would recommend for any special occasion if you have a fun group!

We took our 5 year old and twin 1.5 year olds on the family cruise. It was so much fun! Our 5 year old loved the activities and water cannons, and the babies loved the music! The actors, I mean pirates, we’re great! Would definetky say it’s for younger kids, like 4-10 but even the adults enjoyed it!

Such a fun experience! I've done it twice now and it never fails to deliver. Buying a ticket online and checking in at the pier is easy. Boarding the boat and having a good time is even easier. Highly recommend if visiting Baltimore during the warmer months!

Our voyage was 8-26-22 at the 10:00pm sailing. Everything was awesome. The crew was very into it. I went for a bday but this is a great team building exercise for work. Really had an awesome time. I forgot to bring some extra cash to tip the crew but was happy to see the cash app and Venmo options.

A really fun adventure for our 4 year old. The crew did a great job of keeping the kids entertained and engaged for the entire trip. I would highly recommend it for any Pre-school ago or even elementary age kids, well worth the money.

The ship was cute, but this is definitely not for older kids. My 10 year old did not enjoy it. We also expected more. He got a tattoo, but according to the website there should have been more. "The Captain will welcome you aboard the ship where you and your mates will be dressed up like pirates: vests, tattoos and drawn-on facial hair included." I know it says subject to change, but this is what my son was expecting. Disappointed in this cruise.

Did an office part event here. Very fun for all involved. Great place to do some team building and to let loose. The "crew" were all fantastic, energetic, and lively. Highly recommend this for families or small corporate events!

This was a Groupon experience. It was cool, different and fun. Metered street parking and some walking to the Urban Pirates establishment. Not a wheel chair accessible activity. The boat sails rain or shine. Ponchos and pirate accessories can be purchased. Definitely do the night ride, bring plenty of booze and friends. Coolers are allowed on the boat. The tour is a 1.5 hour cruise around the harbor playing average party music and sipping drinks. They play games for shots of rum, shoot water cannons and dance. There is no bottom level to the ship but a restroom is available. Enjoy.

We went on the Urban Pirates' booze cruise as part of my brother's bachelor party. The whole experience was great! When you get there you have to check-in, get you bracelet, and shot glass on a string....this is very important. The whole crew made sure that we were constantly having fun from the moment we boarded until we got back to shore. When you board you will get your pirate name, and tattoo. You can start drinking as soon as you board. However, to really make you "drink like a pirate," they pull out their own bottle of rum where you can win a shot for playing various games. In between the games there is music playing so we can get our dance on. Oh yeah, and we had to beat Mad Dog the Pirate into submission by dowsing him with Harbor water with our water cannons. Great fun...I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Went on a Friday night cruise last week. A fantastic time was had by all. Crew members were all great. The one hour cruise is an excellent way to see Fells Point, Harbor East and the Inner Harbor. I recommend Urban Pirates. Arrghh!

For kids of 4 to 9 years old I thinks is really good they will enjoy. It was fun the pirates adventures. I thought they would paint the kids faces since in the website they offered that. But the kids only got a tattoo when we went, that was my turn down. But other than that it was nice. I like how the pirates got into they're role 🤪😅 …

This is a pirate ship for kids and adults. They dress you in pirate gear and perform pirate activities while cruising the harbor. Was alot of fun for all. They also offer a party room for birthdays. Adult night cruise available as well. It seems to become a pirate party ship on the adult cruises. The whole staff was great. Could not have had a better time with my grand children. Reasonably priced as well.

Just did it for the second time in June 2022. A great experience, especially for the little ones. I first took my kids when they were 2 and 5. My 2YO was too young and spent the whole time in his stroller but my 5YO absolutely loved it. I took them this past weekend at 8 and 11 knowing we were likely reaching the upper limit of the age range and even the 8YO was a bit too old, even though it was all very well-done.

There were a LOT of vessels in a small area, making it difficult for the smaller kids to captain the "ship," and I was a bit nervous with the paddleboats out as well, especially as the pirate ships have only one speed. Overall, it was great fun though! My kids had a blast

My 4yo loved it, the crew made it really fun for the kids. The costume accessories were very reasonably priced. The hour long ride was the perfect length. There is a bathroom on board, which was nice.

Very hot. Do NOT do it above 85. No shade on ship. No breeze. Ship doesn't leave inner harbor nothing more than 5 mph. Crew was great very entertaining despite outrageous heat. They definitely earned the big tip we left. Kids tried to enjoy it but too hot.

Yes!!! I love the pirate cruise. We go on the BYOG (bring your own grog) every summer. The "ship" tools around the harbor, playing standard fare party music. You get to play games for shots. It if you like a non judgmental party and drinking this is a great way to see the harbor. If you look there are coupons that are regularly posted. Also, it is great for kids during the day. Very family friendly!

I ordered the family pack from Groupon and it was the highlight of our weekend vacation in Baltimore! The crew was very entertaining, playing games, telling stories, singing, dancing, and teaching pirates both big and small about the Pirate Oath. If you go to Baltimore, definitely schedule time for a trip on the Fearless! We look forward to trying the adult cruise as well.

We had a blast at Urban pirates! We did the adult BYOB for a bachelorette party and what a sail!!! They gave the bride-to-be a ton of extra special attention and were more than accommodating with our party during the "uncertain times". We felt safe in the environment and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The whole crew was a blast, and from disembark to berth, we had a wonderful time! We would go again as no sail is ever the same!

I've done the Bring Your Own Grog cruise on two different occasions and had a blast both times. The staff is super into it and make the whole ride a lot of fun with the games they play on board. Super silly, but a lot of fun and definitely worth the $25. Definitely go at night as the harbor looks beautiful lit up in the dark!

I took my 2 year old and 4 year old on the family adventure. Both of my kids had a great time. The crew was very engaged and very engaging despite the warm temperatures and how exhausting their job must be. I expect we will be hearing about this adventure from both of my kids for a long time to come. Definitely recommend.

Went on the family adventure and it was an excellent experience for the kids. The staff are excellent thespians and stayed in character the whole time. Highly recommend it for kids under 13 as there is just no way they won't jump in and be pirates. The older ones will enjoy just watching even if they don't participate.

Took the kiddos to Baltimore for the day. The staff were fun. There is a bathroom on the Ship. There was only a very small alcove to get out of the sun and you had to stand. If the sun/water causes you to need a respite, you are out of luck. Having drinking water available for guests would be helpful!

I went on one of the adult cruises. It was a lot of fun. The staff were very accommodating, even provided a few cups for us when we had brought drinks but forgot cups. My only recommendation if you go is to not be too distracted by the games and such and take a look around as you are riding through the harbor.

Great fun for the kids. The pirate adventure consists of silly games, pirate lingo, dramatics and best of all shooting water cannons. I think it is best for ages 4- 8

Absolutely wonderful experience for young children and the young-at-heart. Nice tour of the harbor as well, and the route offers a very up-close look at the USS Constellation. Friday and Saturday night BYO...Grog... cruises for the over-21 crowd.

The Urban Pirates adventure was amazing for my family! We took my 3 and 4 year olds, and they had a blast. From dancing, to games and the interaction with pirates, there was never a dull moment. My son was initially scared to get onto the ship, but the crew was very warm and welcoming, which helped to ease his anxiety and enjoy his adventure. Would highly recommend!!!

Spent the day in fells point with the family ans embarked on a pirate adventure with the Urban Pirates. We had a great time ! The crew was very interactive and full of character. I’d recommend, if your looking for some family fun.

The actual boat ride was solid and my kid had fun on his birthday. The problem was that we were told to arrive at 2:30 for games/fun before departure. There were no games or fun. My son had to sit around in the hot sun (no shade on the boat) for 25 minutes on the boat and he was incredibly bored. As any parent of young children understands, down time is a non-starter. I understand we're in COVID times and some of that fun would have to be curbed, but if you're not going to do it, then don't ask families to arrive so early and then put them on the boat to just sit around.

We did this 3 years ago...Our kids had a great time. An hour went by really fast with games, dancing, stories and jokes, and of course, the water cannons! The crew were fantastic. We went in the afternoon and there were only about 35 people. That's probably better than the earlier cruises that were full (49 people). There are only 10 water cannons on the ship so the fewer people the better.

The crew on the ship had 1 hour of non-stop entertainment for kids onboard. I was very impressed with them and they were amazing. I have two preschoolers and they had so much fun. I highly recommend it for preschool - kindergarten age group. They are located in Fells Point and there are tons of other activities that you can do with your kids (playground nearby, farmers market on the weekend, restaurants, etc.) so you can do a day trip out of it easily.

Friday 10/23, we did the Adults only booze cruise, and it was a blast! Went to celebrate my husbands birthday, and as we were the only two in our "group" they roped our area off for "covid safety" to keep the other large group in their designated area. That was nice. Some of the funniest jokes and cheesiest humor from the crew. I only wish the cruise had been a little longer- because man was that fun! They kept the jokes and good tunes coming! Would absolutely recommend !! So what ARRGGG you waiting for?!? Book it!

I've always enjoyed Urban Pirates, back when we used to take our summer campers there. Eleven years later, I was back with the kids and grandkids, and it's still charming as ever. They REALLY put a lot of thought and work into making a nearly-hour jaunt around the Harbor entertaining for the wee lads. And when the little villain pirate boat comes around is still the ultimate highlight. Still a WONDERFUL reason to have faith in our city.

I ordered the family cruise off of Groupon and could not have been happier! My daughter is 5 years old and she had such a good experience. They crew is HILARIOUS and get very into character! They play music, have everyone dance, do the limbo, tell the kids stories, and shoot water guns at a bad pirate that sails around in a speedboat next to the ship. There is not enough guns for kids, but they ring a bell when it’s time to switch (worked out very well on our voyage). My daughter has no doubt in her mind that she was on a real pirate ship with real pirates! I also enjoyed the fact that we were sailing on the Inner Harbor and took some scenic videos and pictures of the water. There were kids around the age of 3-12 that seemed entertained. A few little ones were on the ship (2 and under) and they seemed unimpressed. It did get pretty hot. Definitely need to pack sunscreen and water. We would totally do it again!

I took this tour with my 1yr old grandson, a friend and her granddaughters. Although my grandson was a bit to young to enjoy this, it was a lovely experience. The crew works hard engaging the children. The ride around the Harbor is beautiful and the amount of time on the water is just right.

I wasn't really sure what to expect out of this trip, but it exceeded every potential expectation I had. My daughter had such a fun time and so did my husband and I. There was non stop activity the whole time. Games, songs, entertainment, you name it. They even had some adult jokes hidden in their kid entertainment :-) I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Me and my Mom went on the Adult BYOG and it was fantastic! The crew were hilarious and and a trip around the harbor was nice! Only down sides if looking for one is the bathroom on board smelled bad, our groupon wasn't accepted, and it was hard to get someone to answer the phone.

I have done an Urban Pirate Cruise in both Annapolis and Baltimore and both were fantastic experiences. Baltimore didn't provide the kids with costumes for the cruise which was a little disappointing, but the staff's enthusiasm and the overall experience made up for that. I went with 4, 6, and 7 year old girls and they all loved it. There were many middle school aged children on the boat as well and they all seemed to have a blast too. Adults should know there is very limited seating, and they do like the adults to participate in the activities as well. This is not meant to be a pleasure shaded cruise where you sit in a comfy chair. Kids are dancing, doing the limbo, and shooting water guns at pirates over the edge. I didn't mind this, but I'm sure some parents will.

Fantastic time! We did this type of cruise many years ago in Ocean City Md with our son. Now our son has a little guy and we were so excited to take him on this adventure. He’s 2 1/2 and barely caught on to what was happening but he still enjoyed it. We will now make this an annual pirate adventure trip. It is enjoyable for the littles and the large. The crew is super enthusiastic and really keep everyone engaged. We look forward to doing an adults cruise next. Special thanks to the Captain for prolonging the start a few minutes in time for our son and grandson to board. It made our day.

Good fun! Our two little ones had a lovely time, especially the water cannon fight against Mad Eye and the pirate games. It's true about sound system issues -- it's such a small boat I wish they'd get rid of it completely. Our 5yr-old kept covering his ears: too loud for that space. But that's a quibble -- mostly it was terrific and a great morning out for the whole family. Lovely route, too, with splendid views of the Inner Harbor.

We did our sons 3rd birthday here. I personally was not a fan of it, but I have to give credit to the dedication and planning of the people who work this event. They had all the kids attention from start to finish and stayed in character the entire time. They even offer events for adults tho I never experienced it. The staff deserve some sort of knowledgment for their fantastic service and presentation. Had the kids singing and shouting pirate stuff for days.

My 9-year old loved it. My 12-year old tolerated it until he had to share the water cannon. He threw a bit of a fit, and the crew were wonderful. They gave him space but continued to discretely check up on us. Best possible response to the situation.

This was my first time with Urban Pirates, and they gave us a great show. We boarded at around ten on Halloween night for a tour of the harbor on the boat. The crew were friendly and welcomed us on board like old friends. It was a chilly night, but they kept us moving with games, drinks, and lots and lots of laughter. This is not a cruise, it's not a bar - it an EXPERIENCE. An experience not for the stuffy, for sure. It's unique and fun, and going to my 'to take all my out of town friends' list. Plus the spectacular views of Inner Harbor were amazing! Thanks Urban Pirates Crew!

My family had an amazing time! The Pirates keep the kids active the entire time. They got to dress up as pirates, play pirate games, sing songs, dance, story time and even defeat a dirty pirate for treasure. It was a blast and would definitely do it again.

This was so so so so fun! The entertainers were very funny, respectful and prepared. They had bottle openers and corkscrews if we needed it. I was a bit skeptical if I’d like something like this but I had a great time with my friends and I would definitely do this again❤️

The Urban Pirates sail was a lot of fun! We celebrated my friend's 30th birthday aboard and they really made it a great time. The staff is really funny and the activities they have planned are perfectly corny! Definitely has a kitsch-factor, but is a good time if you're a good sport!

My kids had a great time "fighting" the pirate in the boat with the water cannons. All of the staff was friendly. From the person who I talked to all the way to the staff on the ship. Entertaining for the kids. Singing songs and dancing. Will definitely be back for another trip.

Did a adult tour on the 4th of July and we had a great time. Perfect place to be to watch the fireworks. Crew was friendly, welcoming, and interacted with everyone. Crowd was friendly and welcoming. Definitely do it again.

Bring Your Own Grog evening cruise was fantastic! I wish we had done this sooner - we had such a blast with the crew riding around the Inner Harbor, shooting water canons, dancing singing, playing party games, and, of course, drinking grog and getting into the office pirate spirit! I can't wait to go again! They did an excellent job of keeping us entertained and giving us a unique experience in Baltimore.

Wow! My wife made a reservation with Urban Pirates for the Flag Day "History Cruise." Upon placing the reservation she was concerned regarding the 'dress up' part of the cruise. On board the 'Fearless' we were shuffled up to dress as a pirate and have our temporary tattoo placed. "Great" she thought as we were just getting started. Her concern soon dissipated as we set sail. The cruise on board the 'Fearless' was indeed all things for all people. The Urban Pirates crew was friendly and fun throughout the cruise. Their wit was quick and genuine. A pirate band, for this special event cruise would stop the music set for the historical footnotes presented by our on-board historian. While we have no children of our own, we will return to another Urban Pirates cruise for the 'Bring Your Own Grog' adults only cruise Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings throughout the summer. It really was a great time! Highly recommended.

Something different and fun! We did a BYOG cruise on a Friday night for a friend's birthday and had a great time. Definitely a little weird, but cheap for getting on a boat and able to bring your own alcohol. Highly recommend!

WONDERFUL family activity! Saw the boat in the harbour and decided to give it a try. What a lovely and well run business. I can't speak highly enough about the crew! Wild Bill, Ruthless Ruthie and Mimi the Mermaid were a FANTASTIC crew! They were so amazing with the children and seem to actually enjoy their job.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Went to the adults only cruise on the 4th of July and had an absolute blast. Engaging and entertaining, will go again for sure. Best way to watch the fireworks and have a pirate DD the whole way.

We went for a BYOG on a Saturday night and it was well worth the price. The whole crew was entertaining but Wild Bill definitely was the life of the party. There were games and dancing but what I loved the most was they didn't make anyone feel bad for sitting any out. I wasnt drinking that night and happened to win a shot of rum and the lady pirate just asked me who I wanted to pass it to, still involved me in the game and kept it moving. I would love to go again and enjoy it with a little booze in my system but it was still an amazing time sober. :)

Great great experiance, a must in Baltimore for young kids! My wife and I took our 5 and 2 year old girls on the boat. We did the pirate trip 2 year prior and both times the experiance was amazing. I believe it was the same exact people as two years ago and they do an amazing job. Jellyfish Jones, Seaweed and whatever other silly names they had were amazing. The kids are made to feel comfortable and by the end of it even my just turned 2 little girl was yelling arghhhh. She still thinks its funny days later.

The Bring your own Grog trip is so much fun!! It's awesome to see the city from the water and if you can get enough people, you can have a private boat ride. Tip your hard working wenches!

Whether you're a tourist or live right here in Baltimore, the Urban Pirates cruise is a must-do. During the day it's a family fun adventure mostly for the children, but at night they have two BYOB cruises for adults and that's when the real fun starts. An hour long cruise through the Inner Harbor. You play pirate games to win shots of rum, they play music you dance, drink, and party. It's nearly impossible to walk off the boat sober. The pirate crew is always awesome and it's only $25!! How could you go wrong?!
