Really cool building. They have tons of brochures if you're looking for activities to do in Maryland. There are also some neat and interesting display inside.

Nice, clean, and handicap accessible. I can really say much more about it. I usually only stop for bathroom visits. As usual for most of the welcome centers, it's almost always a slight uphill to enter, which is a PITA is you have mobile issues (like me) and it's probably a real problem if you are in a wheelchair. I never interacted with the staff there ut they look to be nice from a distance.

Lovely Gateway to Maryland. I went inside and had a nice chat with walking encyclopedias Fred and Melody about the region, the attractions ans even planned a quick visit about with what little time I had to spare. Absolutely lovely. This should be a mandatory stop coming into MD from PA.

Great place to do a bus tour. I found that out when I checked in for the tour. To find out I was at the wrong place. She directed me to the right place down the road.

This was a beautiful place to stop. There was a great playground for the kids surrounded by a beautiful grassy area with covered picnic tables. The center was closed when we arrived but they were considerate and placed various vending machines outside.

This was a nice rest area, clean quiet and the people seem to be respectful. However the facilities themselves seem like cold like it was a prison in another life. Large and Grey brick painted white. This is the only reason for the 4 stars.

It's a welcome center and in all reality you stopped here to use the restroom and stretch your legs. Place was clean and well kept, but the strangest part (coming from New York anyway) is how nice the actual building and premise was. 5 stars for once again making me wonder where all my taxes are going to.

This is one of the nicest rest stops I've been to in the North East. Super friendly staff (Fred and Melody on 8/20/16). Great play area for kids and shaded picnic area. Very modern and clean bathrooms. I remember the days when budgets closed the info center. So glad it's refunded. Hope it stays!

So I was on my way down to North Carolina with my girlfriend for a vacation for 5 days down there. We decided to stop here for a quick rest and ended up getting a geocache that was in the immediate area. This place is pretty nice well kept very clean. I would definitely stop here again if I ever make my way back down here.

They were so informative, when I stopped there I was on my way to moving to wilmington. I was with my dog alone, the place had not quite opened yet but they me in early for an absolute emergency bathroom stop. They gave me water, treats and a ball for my dog and they they gave me a bunch of pamphlets about my new town and state. Super nice lady at the front.

We stopped at every welcome center from Florida to New York! The staff were so friendly and helpful! They even have us a free postcard to put in our memory book! There is always a geocache at almost every rest stop and welcome center on the grounds. There's always information about the State and plenty of pamphlets available for lodging, restaurants, and attractions. Most have a book of coupons in which offer savings on hotels, food, and local attractions. I also love that there's a big State sign at all the centers in which is set up for you to take photos of or with it! All are different and alot of fun!

Finally it looks like they’re getting this place back opened up even with the pandemic going on. I’m glad to see that re-opening nice visitor center. Their hours seem to be sporadic but I think it’s because of the pandemic.

Much needed stop as you're entering MD. Very clean and big too. Only really convenient if you're going south though as it's on the southbound side, but still accessible via a few U-turns if you're going North.

This was a fun place to stop and stretch the legs for a few minutes. This is no ordinary rest stop. There is a small museum/tourism shop (you know the ones with all the pamphlets... they had about a million), with an attendant that was very knowledgeable and helped guide me on my journey. If you are looking to see lots of things about the Mason Dixon expediion or a sign of the line, this is not the place for you. What I mean is, if you are passing by, stop, but do not go out of your way to travel to this destination. There is a sign in the median of the interstate a bit north of this location, near the state line, that says "Mason Dixon Line".
