Reviews of I-95 South Maryland Welcome Center
Plenty of toilets available. Plenty of parking. There's is good selection of snacks and drinks. There's 8 (maybe 9?) Vending machines including one dedicated to Dip n Dots and another that's all monster and red bull variations. There's 3 or 4 snack machines (not including the Dip n Dots machine).
Went to the lobby to get chips out of the machine was surprised they had so much then walked around back found this little bench and I secluded area very nice parking lot huge my kind of rest stop
Okay, it's a welcome center but it's the first one I have ever visited like this one. There were two men working there and were extremely helpful. The place is loaded to the hilt with maps, brochures and other great information about the state. The staff went out of their way to help me so I was very happy. These folks truly make you feel like they are welcoming you to the state of Maryland.
Staff greatly greets everyone who enter the welcome center. They do it so patiently. Welcome center shows all the places to go in Maryland and it’s history.
Surprised that this is a rest area because i thought it was a park. Very nice place to stretch out and use the restroom.
Saw 2 rats near the trash can about 10 feet from our car. yuck. bathrooms are good. I think the guys in the car next to us was living out of his car. We stop here for the convenience
Easy on, easy off. Pretty much everything you could ask for from a highway rest area. Lots of parking for every kind of vehicle. **Truckers beware, due it it's location it can get very crowded it you don't get in early.**
Clean bathrooms. Well lit. Well kept grounds. A staffed visitors center open during normal business hours. Plenty of space to stretch your legs, take a stroll or give your dog a walk.
This rest area is big , parking everywhere for truck and cars .
They have vending machine with sodas and snacks , bathrooms
And travel information .
Good stop between Baltimore and DC ( heading south ). Clean and good amenities.
Plenty of parking.
Average rest stop facility. I have seen worse, but I have also seen way better. Not sure who is managing cleanliness of the restrooms here, they should step up.
bathrooms need to be in a better condition. Mostly because there is a lot of drivers that stop by.
Very clean bathroom, huge area for Parking lot, Trucks have plenty of parking room, also Cars have plenty of Parking room very Nice
This is a parking location for trucks and people that need to have a place to Rest they have bathrooms vending macnice quiet place
Good place to stop and stretch your legs. And use the bathroom,Clean well lit safe area.
Always clean. The one down side is that the stalls are very skinny and the doors open in. I'm not that big and struggle to get in and out of the stall. I can only imagine what it's like for bigger people.
Great rest stop. Plenty of parking...visitor center...picnic tables....bathrooms...did I say plenty of parking?..sweet...good stop between DC and Baltimore...has vending machines as well...good place for a restorative nap
Nice visitor center.
Clean. Excellent parking. Has the essentials for a quick stop.
Very convincing to get in and out of, restrooms were relatively clean (people don't clean up after themselves!), good place to rest, eat, stretch your legs, etc. Even has a.place to walk your dog! Glad I stopped.
Clean. Surprised to find a parking spot for truck tonight. Hardly ever a spot to park truck. Usually, I have to park beside southbound get on ramp.
Bathrooms will not clean. Food was mediocre. Too damn High! Average Popeyes meal for two combos is less than $20. This place it came to under $40 for two combos. Not worth it!
Nice place for stop over. Someone is available to clean the area over night.
Fairly clean for a rest area. No frills just a place to stretch and use the restroom on a long car ride
It's clean, well-maintained and a good place to pull off the highway and relax in secure comfort....
One of the only rest area around. Arrived at seven pm and parking lot was already full of semi trucks. Restrooms are old and not so clean. More truck stop or rest area stop should be build around here. Parking lot was Clean at least. There's vending machines but I didn't see them. Might have to search a little bit to find them.
Bathrooms are clean enough for a quick stop, however the cleaning staff is incredibly rude.
Facility was clean. The information area was closed during my midweek midday stop.
Clean and nice Rest Area
Very clean and lots of available information
On a positive note, there are plenty of stalls in the restroom. As the facilities are in a building with open entrances, the climate outside is what you get inside. Vending machines offer a fair selection, with some personal comfort items. Grounds are pleasant. Main building close in the evening, so no comment on this
It has bathrooms and vending machine food plus the welcome center had all the usual information
Good place. Nice bathroom's. The food places were closed when we got there.
Clean and well lit. Lots of vending machines.
The only thing about being on east Coast on I 95 or I85 parking fills up way earlier then heading west from I95. I am here now and the time is only 13:50 (1:50)
The rest area was clean and well kept. Lots of vending machines.
Our 1st time visingq from florida. Amazing experience. That place was packed
The restrooms are clean, but as far as interstate rest stops go this one is fairly basic. It does have space to walk around and some tables to sit and eat at.
Busy but clean for quick pit stop. Vending machines are available
Nice an clean. I always manage to get a good rest there.
Beware I did not go un the bathrooms!! What us life without a little dose of adventure! GO try and and put a reply on here with how it was so I can try it too.
Clean bathrooms, plenty of space for dogs to stretch their legs. Unfortunately, couldn't use the space for my dog because of too many people disobeying the "all dogs must be leashed" sign. Good selection of snacks and drinks
When traveling local or long distance, I enjoy pulling over at rest stops and welcome centers. This one did not disappoint. Clean and safe. I got some much needed rest before continuing my journey home.
We stopped here on our way home from NJ. Unfortunately the place was closed.
No frills, but safe ,clean and vender machines.
Traveling home to Indianhead, MD and it was the last rest stop before entering VA. I found it to be safe, very well lit, clean and beautifully decorated with picnic tables outside for those who lingered to restup and eat.
Very, very crowded and parking was scarce. Restrooms and vending machines only. Did not see tables, chairs or shade. Last stop before you head into I-495. No gasoline.
Nice clean rest area for both cars and trucks. Has a nice selection of vending machines with beverages (hot and cold) along with limited refrigerated foods (think wraps for example). During the daytime there's a small information building for directions and hotel information / reservations.
The restrooms were clean on oder floor swepted no tissue on the floor. Good up keep.
Super busy and loaded with trucks trying to get a required rest. Very few open spaces for an RV to park. Should add more spaces and create an RV only section.
Dirty, people parked where ever trucks parked in places they shouldn't be and no evidence of security
Daiso we're on our way to Florida and you need a place to sleep these rest areas are secure their clean and if you don't have the capability of your own shower toilet and other things that you need when traveling these rest areas are your best friend for spending the night it doesn't cost you a dime and you get a good night's sleep you're well rested and you have there are restrooms to use or your restroom in your RV and this makes it easier to know that you're safe there thumbs up
It’s an aged facility, cleanness is okay.
A small nice informative rest area driving down towards Virginia off the 95 highway
Clean bathrooms, easy access good parking
It was ok plenty of parking . The rest rooms could use some updates
The place was clean they had vending machines that work properly and it was no problem popping my big truck there
Very large facility for parking and visitors to stop in and take a break.
Lots of space to park.
Like the place safe and quiet.
Great place for a nap after working 11 hours
Great area to get out and stretch your legs, walk the dog around. Especially after or before Baltimore/Washington DC traffic... Always one of my stop points on a long trip.
Outside nise and clean but inside nead a real renovation. Its real to old and cold water to wash your hands and faces especialy for truck driver in the morning.
Nice rest area clean peaceful lot of space to walk and enjoy the fresh air
Stopped for a break, and the restrooms. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. Nice grassy area for your pet's. The information area was open, talked with Steve inside. Steve was very helpful, greeted everyone who walked in. I will be stopping here again
Clean with nice restrooms. I got my free Maryland map!
Clean restrooms, easy to get in and out of.
Not bad keep clean, but the water is always cold when washing your hands, even during winter. Overall good stop.
✔restrooms
✔cell signal
✔truck parking

Love this Rest Area! I usually have deliveries in the area that I book from Southern California ....and the T/A in Jessup wants to charge $20 overnite parking non-reserved
....screw that! I pay taxes and I am exercising my rights as a tax payer to park my big rig at this awesome little rest area...
...get here early tho....because many other truckers have the same idea 🤣
If you need a brochure on anything in Maryland this place has it. Plus the people who work here are very informative on place to go around Maryland
They've upgraded the rest rooms stalls but are still not very good. Seems safe.
I couldn't drive anymore and this place was literally less than a mile away. It's a very nice stop, well lit, and there's a lot of parking. It doesn't seem dangerous because there's no sketchy night time activity. There are a lot of picnic tables and an area large enough to let your dog off leash if nobody is around.
This is one of the places almost always nice and clean. It creates a sense of welcome to the passing by guests. Thank you very much to the keepers and mgt team.
Clean facility but welcome center was not open yet Saturday morning.
This location is awesome. It had all the information that you can use.
The facilities are clean
Not a bad rest area the rest rooms were clean it seemed fairly busy so that's freaking pretty highly of the staff there but it was as clean as it was as busy as it was
Well lit and clean. Easy on and off. Bathrooms appear to be open 24/7 which is great for traveling. The visitors center does have limited hours of operation. Parking is a bit of a distance from the bathroom and visitor center but there are ramps for people with mobility issues. There are areas for people with pets as well as areas for people who smoke. Vending machines are also available. There is no fuel at this rest area.
Just needed to use the bathroom 16 hour drive. Not the best not the worst but it was ok experience. Better than going in the woods
Truck parking has really improved since the expansion a few years ago. I wish the state could improve the truck parking on the northbound side. Overall a decent rest area. But the restroom building needs a major update or replacement. Is like a restroom in a campground. No hot water and little privacy.
Pretty clean. Quick stop
Good pit stop for the restroom & snacks...
The rest stop is nice with tables set under shade of trees. Apart from the rest rooms and a couple of vending machines, there is nothing much in terms of food or beverage options
This is a nice place to take a break after driving far on highway 95. It's very bright at night. Many car and truck drivers take a nap here!
Clean and alot of parking
I said it was okay only because it was closed & I couldn't see anything they had.
Very clean and well lit
Very clean and organized rest stop
Restrooms were clean and the vending machines worked and were filled.
Nice rest stop. No matter where you park, you don't have to walk far to the bathroom. The bathrooms are very clean compared to other rest stops! I even stop here sometimes when I'm not going for a long drive.
Used the restroom; it's about 20 years past due for an update.
No paper towels, just old hand dryers.
Looks good, but its really not that mainated.
Nice big rest area. Plenty of truck parking but can get full at night. Place and rest rooms are clean. Three stars because you have to watch what you get from the vending machines. I bought a couple sandwiches (I was hungry and desperate), not only were they out of date, but they were rotten and mildewy to the Core. Absolutely disgusting.
Excellent place for big trucks and RVs to rest for the evening. Never once was I worried about anybody trying to do anything harmful and I felt 100% safe. Has picnic tables for you to grab a bite to eat and the restrooms are relatively clean.
Great place to stop, stretch my legs, and snooze for a while to wait for the evening traffic rush to calm down. Bathroom stalls have this funny kind of half door that anyone of average height can see over. Doesn't make for the greatest sense of privacy. Reasonably clean, especially considering the large number of people who stop there.
Checkout from the cashier was fast and accurate. The bathrooms here are relatively clean, but not the best. There are vending machines selling snacks, water, and sugary-drinks here. There are also maps available in the common area between the welcome center and the bathrooms.
Normally if your traveling through Maryland i- 95 south or north, I wouldn't recommend stopping anywhere in just about all the state except near Harve De Grace because 9/10 times the experiences are beyond terrible in unbelieveable ways but this rest stop is truly not bad. They do not have stores or food court here, just a few vending machines, map area, info area, bathroom's which are a hit or miss for both men and women but still I've been to worse and the picnic area is large & alright for a quick stop. The picnic area is not really handicap friendly though. The tables are located on little hills of grass where there's no accessible ramp. Also people do not clean up after their dogs here, so be careful walking.
Very clean restrooms. Attendant was very pleasant. Vending area was very clean. Well lit in parking lot
Nice and clean but the trucks made it hard to get out
I've never actually been inside the welcome center. Only the Sunoco gas station or the vast parking lot to rest.
This is the I-95 South rest area, located near Laurel, Maryland, just past highway 32.
Courteous staff, entire area is always clean, plenty of bathroom stalls, 2 cold water fountains, vending machines, a welcome center, & tons of easy parking. Large green space available for leashed dogs. The green space has a several trees & picnic tables (covered & uncovered). If you accidentally drive past all of the parking spots, there is a lane, near the end of the exit road, where you can loop back around to the beginning of the entrance lane & the parking areas.
The side lane on the exiting road, where the trucks & RVs exit, is signed as an "idle reduction lane", but it is also open to people who need to take a longer stop to rest/sleep in their vehicles. From my frequent traveling & use of the rest area, it's my experience that sleeping in your vehicle in the parking lot & in the exit road's side idle reduction lane is allowed any time day or night. The entire rest area is safe & has adequate lighting. I tend to be a light sleeper, so I usually park near in the exit road's side idle reduction lane, away from the main parking lots. Doing so, however, means the walk to the restrooms is much longer.
Very old rest stop..did get a parking place fast and quickly back on the road..
Nice and clean place but getting in is confusing with trailers parked all over the place blocking the entrance and view.
Nice spot to park looks like plenty of room but got to get there early cause spots will be taken quick
Cleat, lot of parking spots, McDonald's and Dunkin inside!
More effort could be made to keep this cleaner.
The bathrooms were clean and well kept. They're open 24 hours a day. Very well kept for anyone worried about the COVID-19 times were in at the moment.
Always open if you need to rest or just go to the restrooms. Safe and well lit.
Bathroom was dirty. Usually it's clean
Not too many gun shots quite
Large area to walk about, grab essentials, use fairly clean restrooms or refuel. Prices are high but various options for food, snacks whether healthy or indulgent. Felt safe walking back and forth to vehicle with children.
Love to stop here on our yearly trip back to Florida from upper New England area.. for those looking for information on the area you can get it here..clean nice grounds and restrooms etc.. vending machines are available here for snacks and drinks.great stop 👍👍 A+ …
Nasty old fashioned rest stop.Old building for such a wealthy state. Why dont they have more pride like North Carolina or W.Virginia even who have nicer rest stops.
Restrooms where clean place was well lit.
Nice rest stop with plenty of parking. It would've been nice if all the sinks and hand driers were working.
A bathroom, a.snack machine, ample parking and a place to walk your dog. It is a rest stop
Family friendly place for a stop or mini rest or an all night rest it safe has convenient very clean amenitie. Also a good place for a picnic during a trip or after work in traffic on I95 Maryland.
This is a good spot to stop while traveling to Washington DC to freshen up without the annoyance of a massive food court. The parking is close to the restroom and if you are needing any last minute travel info the gentleman who was working there last week was able to answer the couple of questions I had and even give me a recommendation of what road to take. I didn't tell him I was driving a bus and that was part of the reason I didn't want to follow his advice but I will keep it in mind should I ever ride my cycle down.
This is all I need at a rest stop. Pull up, use restroom and get on my way. No gas station, restaurants or convenience store, just take care of business and get back on the road quickly.
This Walmart had very friendly service people!
One of the nicest and well designed rest areas in the us, especially for large trucks and in stark contrast to the rest area on the other side of the road in which you can not park or get out of the spot if your rig is parked between two others. I don't know what the architects ware thinking when they designed it...
Probably the worst maintained restrooms I've seen. The stall doors, when sitting, are barely taller than I am. Piled dirt and debris in corners of the stall, sinks are very dated and some have broken handles.
Wow. A great place to drain your bladder. I had to pee, I did indeed pee and then back on the road.
I found this area to be well maintained and i would recommend this for the traveler like myself.. A safe area.. The parking lot is quite nice.. I meet some travelers there and we all had a good experience there.. If you have to stop.. Then this is a good bet
We spent a night at this rest area. Felt very safe. Very big rest area. Plenty of parking. Clean and tidy toilets.
It has nice landscaping, clean bathrooms and a dog area There are several food and beverage machines but no convenience stores or fast food. There are signs all over saying that state police monitor it.
Their machines cost way too much - $4 for a good humour ice pop. But if you really need to use it for it's actual use then mark it in your route.
Clean and spacious with ample parking. Several picnic tables to use for your bring along lunch, etc. You cannot go wrong stopping here.
Great place for a stop and picnic
Great place for a quick bathroom break. There's a large number of stalls, sinks, soap, and a couple hand dryers. No paper towels. There's also vending machines outside.
Outdoor amenities. Low capacity open view restrooms. Pet area. Cold beverage Vending machines. No hot beverages. High truck parking occupancy.
It's a highway rest area. As such, it's reasonably clean for how busy it is. Vending machines have a decent selection, but on the expensive side. Plenty of parking, good layout.
This rest area is great for travellers who have to stretch out a little bit and use the restrooms. If you are traveling I95 southbound, you already past the two recently renovated Maryland service areas. Baltimore exits take a lot of time. It is located between Baltimore and DC. So if you need to use the restrooms, this is the most convenient stop. It does not have restaurants. But it is a great rest area.
Bathroom, drink vending machine, lots of parking. OK
Nice picnic tables under tree shade. Trees isolate the picnic area from the highway. Peaceful place to enjoy lunch and relax. Also has welcome office and clean rest rooms.
Clean restroom. Safe to take a rest. We did a few hours rest before taking off.
Located right before the I-95 and I-495 split. Great location to stop if you are traveling between northern Virginia and Maryland or southern Pennsylvania.
Restrooms are clean and always stocked. General commons area is nice with brochures listing local attractions. Plenty of space to walk your dogs. Couple charcoal grills if you happen to need to grill.
Clean and safe. The vending machines don't seem to tell you how much things cost until you've put in money and made your selection, but overall it's a good rest stop.
So glad we have places like this on the highways.
Restroom was very clean place is very busy
I showed up here late at night, went to use the bathroom, I was not wowed by the lack of privacy with the half-door toilet stalls(I'm sure this is to make sure you are not having a meet-up... ew.)
I was doing a 34 hour reset so I camped out in parking lot, wishing I had stocked up on food, looking online to see if someone delivered closeby. Finally after all day I stopped by their vending machines to be shocked by the presence of cold sandwiches and salads in the machine for $3 bucks each. And they are GOOOOD!!
Would of given 5 stars but no coffee machine and those bathroom doors....
Great place to make a pee stop! Stopped here a number of times over the years. Glad its here. Thank you Maryland.
It is nice place to take rest. It should be more accommodate
Nice, clean bathrooms!
Great place to stop on your trip to take a break from driving and stretch your legs
i95 rest stop. Bathrooms and vending machines. Truck regulations keep it overfull of 16 wheelers.
Going north the next three stops have gas and restaurants.
Good rest stop but a bit on the odoriferous side
Just in time, a rest stop for the weary and weak. Walking up to the facility is like climbing Mount Everest, but I guess it is good for excercise and stretching your legs. But when you really have to go, you have to run up hill.
I think it's the best rest stop between VA and Maryland. Bathrooms are clean the only downfall is the vending machines are extremely expensive
Clean rest area No problems. Located in the median of the interstate . It has free parking. Gas station at ok on the price. Stores see the usual rest stop food at typical rest area prices.
It's got clean bathrooms, but if you're hungry you're pretty much out of luck. There's some vending machines for a lot of different soft drinks and some chips or pop tarts, but that's about it.
Nice place. Plenty of parking. Truck driver died Saturday morning at this location because he forgot to set his brakes and when walking to the bathroom his truck rolled and crushed him
I was tired from New York driving so I stopped. Fell a sleep woke up felt SAFE
Due to the pandemic almost oh of the welcome centers we're closed mostly we were able to walk the animals and take a break if we were on our 10-hour break but you didn't have no problem with Deliriou these areas
It was pretty cool there. Nice place to stop.
Very Clean didn't smell toilet paper was
On hand and hand dryer work.
Large grassy area for pets, clean restrooms, easy to get on and off the highway. Last rest area before the beltway. Has a few vending machines for snacks.
One of the best rest areas. Great place to stretch legs, use bathroom or eat something. You can buy ez pass tag here $35 if coming from abroad.
Has restrooms and ample parking. No attendant. No vending machines or water fountain
Lots of parking well away from the highway. Spent a quiet night there on my way south.
Good rest stop, especially with dogs. Rest rooms are clean, but the hand dryers need to be updated (same as northbound side).
Very nice and clean bathroom
The bathrooms were clean the sodas were cold and there were two geocaches
This center was ok. The bathroom was old but functional and clean.
Clean enough, and convenient
Not the most modern facility but certainly the cleaness between Virginia and New Jersy!
Clean & convenient.
Very good. Wish a little bit of cleanliness in the bathroom
This was my 2nd time visiting and I was great. My husband showed me and the kids a great time. Didnt think I would enjoy myself as much but I did. Got me thinking about moving there.
Lots of tree-shaded parking spaces make this a welcome respite on the often-clogged stretch of I-95 between DC and Baltimore. It can be a difficulty for persons with mobility challenges if they don't know the are some easy-access parking on the far side of the facility.
Vending machine didn't work. Sucks when ya need a coffee drink and can't get it 😟 …
Vending machines is expensive, stopped to use restroom.
It does it's job. These rest stops in Maryland are nothing like those in N.C. and Va.
Very good stopping spot. Good traffic flow, always clean and some grassy areas to walk dogs.
Amazing clean facilities
Quite place to catch some zzzzz if you been on 5he road for to long even if your not in a tracker trailer no one bothers you
Standard rest stop. Has no shop but does have food and beverage vending machines. Bathrooms are decently clean.
Very busy. But the staff does what they can to keep up with the mess some people make.
Clean great air conditioning clean restrooms pet area clean neat surroundings outside. Good people to provide area info maps and tourists info as well.
We stopped here on our way to SC. Plenty of parking. Place to walk the dog. Restrooms.
Got a good night's rest here I tells ya
Very nice welcoming center employees. Clean restrooms.
Clean restrooms and the information center has state maps. I like that.
Plenty of toilet stalls clean facility. Like the ramps instead of steps
As a new volunteer for 4 hours a week at I-95 SB, I am admittedly somewhat partial in my observations. The person supervising both Northbound and Southbound Welcome Centers has served in the position since about 1994. She is an exceptionally warm and caring individual. When on duty with other staff members and volunteers it becomes abundantly clear in the Southbound Center, how much information she is able to impart about all parts of Maryland and is able to assist persons traveling with Exit Numbers, Motels, Places to eat and many other FAQs, and many queries which are not frequently asked. To every extent possible she and other staff members engage those who come into the Welcome Center without becoming intrusive.
As an 86 year old volunteer, I find myself extremely pleased that I have been able to assist a few travelers in some small way as they move toward their destinations. But equally enjoyable has been the opportunity to learn so much more about my adopted home state, its history, its roles in the Civil War and the War of 1812, significance in the writing, development and eventual acceptance of our National Anthem, the origins of railroads, and so much more. There are so many events to participate in and so many parts of Maryland to enjoy that we encourage those heading South to plan some vacation time in Maryland when they return perhaps heading back to their home areas to the north.
The Southbound I-95 Welcome Center is truly Welcoming to ALL. Come visit anytime we're open 9-5 each day.
Good stopover for necessary and timely information. Motorists can also refresh and get refreshments to make their journey enjoyable.
Arrive here before 6PM definitely
Ok rest stop! Nothing fancy.
Bathrooms were well kept.
Very clean bathrooms
Clean rest stop stayed the night there on a trip out of state was clean restrooms and a usual spot for state police to stop so safe lot
Plenty of parking, clean restrooms and picnic areas
Not the cleanest place to stop at but, I was very glad it was there. Better maintenance is needed.
This is a clean, perfect place to stop. Nice settings. Clean rest rooms, and huge visitor's center with all kinds of info about MD.
Clean stop while passion through 95, can get a little busy during peak travel hours, but definitely better than a gas station rest room
Except for the inexperienced drivers whom don't obey speed limits & park in RV / trailer spots instead of the dozens of car spots. Very uneducated.
Nice & clean with not many people.
Bathrooms clean. Only vending machines. Great place to drain the thick hog whenneeded.
Very clean plz e to stop for a break or for rest.
If you are driving a truck you have a lot of steps to climb. Restrooms are clean. Nice view from here.
Bathrooms were cleaner than most rest stops on 95. When the welcome center is open be sure to grab some tourism pamphlets.
Need more staff. They are not friendly.
Quick stop right off of i95 parking available vending machines available and bathroom are clean.
Clean area but many 'flesh breathers' were not wearing masks. Unbelievably disappointed in humanity. Apologies, no pics =(
Clean, nice selection in their vending machines. Everything you need in a rest stop.
Restrooms clean, though I don't like the shorty stall doors. Vending prices thru the roof. I see why 'some of the proceeds benefit the blind': these machines rob you blind! Over $3 for a candy bar, don't want to know about the drinks!
Perfect place to stop to rest or just to take a break. Great bathrooms and snack machines lots of parking
A must place to stop and stretch ones legs after a long haul on 95. Very busy with traffic 24/7. The state needs to update the restrooms they need it bad.
Very big and quiet
Facilities were neat and clean. Easy off and on high way.
I was there to eat my breakfast. However, they maintain the landscape.
Clean well maintained
Most important to me is they have a bathroom. Would be nice if they renovated it made some shops.
It's very nice now a lot of parking but with so many trucks out here on the road we still need more
Alot of random people walking around at night that look sketchy.. but it is a rest area no food just vending machines and bathrooms
Rest area where you can take a nap with clean restrooms.
Clean bathrooms.
I found it to be a bit out dated and the truck parking was way too small. I had to wake up in the middle of the night to move my truck so another driver would have enough space to get into a spot.
Very nice staff. Plenty of brochures and information. Only thing that sucked was no indoor sitting area, only outdoor.
Very clean rest area with picnic table for a long road trip
Crowded, but clean for what it is. Good location before getting off into the beltway mess.
Good place to sleep for the night a good place to sleep for tonight.
Nice Pitt Stop.
Thanks for the Facilities.
Rock n Roll.
Very nice rest area. A lot of parking. Trucks 🚚 parking available …
Nice stop
Open and clean bathrooms also well kept outside
Nice place with lots of parking
Another quaint place to stretch your legs & hit the vending machines! Clean in & out of rest rooms TOO! 😎 …
Bathrooms are well kept and parking lot is well lit for when you have to stop and rest
It is a convenient location. This welcome center is not close to any state boarder like others. It has all basic facilities like a normal welcome center.
If you been here you already know...😉 …
When your tired and stop for a rest break
It's nice and quiet
Bathrooms .....yessss
Nice clean place with plenty of parking for cars and big trucks
Clean, well-kept rest center.
The bathroom stalls have very short doors providing very little privacy.
Great rest Area. Amble Parking Space. Clean rest rooms.. Awesome maintenance.
Restrooms clean. Nice rest stop.
Staff very nice clean bathrooms freindly folks
Was great the restrooms was cleaning and the people was very helpful
Very clean restrooms and the grounds were beautiful and well cared for!!!!
Good for fast stop to walk around and use the restrooms. Only a few vending for snacks and drinks
Decent area to use the bathroom and stretch your leg if the weather is not too bad. Outdated but still acceptable
Very clean restrooms and nice service I recieved from the cashier.
Convenient rest stop.
It's a rest stop. How exciting can it be. Clean and functional
A bit outdated. Careful as well, lots of random people asking for money trying to sell you fake jewelry for gas.
Huge truck area. Happy to have clean restrooms at 11pm
Lots of parking g and a very friendly staff
Nice Rest Stop and beautiful grounds. Bathrooms fairly clean, but dingy.
This locations are great... The rest areas are super clean and the scenery is great... the staff is super friendly....
A nice place to stop for handicapped access
If this is the one I'm thinking of it's ok but a little shady at night. The men's rooms are limited and the stalls are very narrow.
Restrooms but no gas station.
The bathroom's are a bit dirty. The area outside is ok. If you have small kids, there's some grass for them to run around on.
Clean bathrooms and plenty of parking. I like the north-bound side better, but both are nice.
Visited the Welcome Center, was able to get 411 about Maryland. Lots of scenic pamphlets available. The Host was very helpful .
Glad that it is there at least. Large area, plenty of parking, but a bit of a haul to get in and out. Place is getting old and could use a sprucing up.
Fast clean easy in and out and isnt that what we really want in a rest stop at least that how I grew up lol
It was big and clean very clean I loved it
Busy, nice and clean and places to walk the fur babies.
This is a really nice rest area, especially after the extensive renovations the state did a year or two ago.
Bathrooms. Vendor machines
A safe place to stop and pee. Ok clean.
Helpful staff in information center. Pleasant outdoor seating and walking areas. Only vending machines.
Always friendly and helpful.
This location is only rest no had food or gas station
Clean facilities, though the doors on the bathroom stalls are very low, and it can be hard to close them while in the stall

Clean and safe but the vending machines credit card reader didn't work

Very clean and lit just right for taking a mid night nap.
Bathrooms were very clean
Always super crowded variety of fast food and restrooms. Good in a pinch when driving for a while
A great spot that should be open 24 hours. It is in a centerly located area that does see alot of traffic.
liked everything here as well as taking a nap in my car on the parking lot very safety
Nice rest area with clean well kept bath rooms.
Rest stops are very useful on long trips. They all are about the same, and have what is needed.
Quick stop restroom was clean
Works in a pinch. No privacy in toilets, doors are very low, so people can see you using them.
Good place to stop and pee. A couple of employees got weird about my tattoos.
Surprisingly clean and plenty of resources.
Due to staffing shortages shops are not always open
Great parking facility for truckers and cars
Easy access and clean facilities.
Plentiful bathrooms and some vending machines. Good parking.

Nice and big with lots of big rig parking
good napping spot.
Good place to stop, some interesting things going on
I'm happy that it's open even though Google Maps incorrectly says it is closed on a Monday afternoon around 2 PM.
Very clean restrooms and lots of handicapped parking.. ☺
Quick easy quiet.
Always clean. Just need bigger doors on the stalls
Good place for short nap. There are vending machines but that is about it.
It's decent, the toilet stalls have short doors.
