Nice modern pit stop , rest and service area. Several options for food and a coffee spot. The bathroom was really clean which was a relief on the road! Saw someone cleaning too mid day so they keep up with the place and keep it nice. Definitely worth pulling off if you need to stop. And there’s gas too!

This is a nice service area for you to charge up yourself and your car! We stopped by to get our late lunch by ordering Pizza Hut pizzas and KFC sandwich & chicken wings. Foods are as good as we order from other places. If there are outdoor seatings for pet owners, it would be perfect.

Really nice travel plaza on the 95. Accessible from both directions. Plenty of food options. The restrooms weren't so clean and I assume it's because of some drivers who can't clean up after themselves. Gentlemen, let's act like adults.Otherwise, very kind staff and ample parking space. You must try Peet's Coffee.

We stopped at this rest rest stop because it had a Tesla charging station. We were pleasantly surprised that it was clean and modern. It also has a nice variety of places to get a quick bite or coffee.

We made a stop here for food and drinks. The parking lot has space because it’s large, there is an area for it and for charge electric cars. The entrance is big too. On the left side we found KFC and Candys, we waited about 5 minutes to place the order and the service was quick. You can also get some quick drinks and some souvenirs to take home as a souvenir at the market.

Nice and clean rest stop. This lady, not sure manager or not, was walking around making sure everyone was alright and good. I like that friendly greeting. Just this one simple greeting already makes me feel like I entered into an upgraded rest stop. The Women bathroom was pretty clean too.

This place was very clean, had friendly staff, multiple services, plenty of parking, and a beautiful outdoor seating area. The bathrooms were clean, there were message chairs, charging stations, multiple restaurants, a souvenir shop, clothing store, and coffee shop.

Very clean and welcoming to people who are traveling and looking for a good and relaxing rest area. It has a nice food court with multiple fast food restaurants to choose from and a gift shop with a lot of items if you're looking to buy a little souvenir and or a gift for friends and family. A coffee shop is a plus and some massaging chairs to add to your comfort. The bathrooms were spotless and smell clean!

This service plaza is nice and clean in the main hall. Beautiful architecture, lots of windows, but having the restaurants close at 7pm is absurd. For. 24 hour service area. So if truckers like myself arrive here expecting to get some dinner after 7pm because we’re thinking the 24 hour service plaza has 24 hour restaurants and they’re actually closed is absolutely ridiculous. The store inside is the only place open after 7pm. It’s 24 hours. The men’s bathrooms were definitely not up to par. Half of the bathroom was closed off due to (from what it looked like) flooding. The stalls doors on the open side, most of them didn’t lock so people were getting walked in on left and right. The handicap stall closest to the entrance was the only working one with a proper lock. This can do way better.

Great place to stop. Good choices to grab food to go or sit and eat. Everything was very clean. Tables, bathrooms and floors. The employees were professional and courteous. Ate at Wendy's had hamburger, which was freshly made and very good. The peppermint frosty was tasty!!

This travel plaza is large, right off of the highway, and offers at least two souvenir/snack stores, almost two dozen stalls in each of the bathrooms, numerous tables to sit down and rest or eat something from the food stores. It's clean and relaxed. The parking lot is huge and there is a smoking section at a convenient place. Several people use this rest stop to give their furry family members a little walk to stretch their legs.

We have not been here for a few years. Lovely Rest stop! We loved the Open Space and the Beautiful view of the leaves changing colors through the glass windows. The acoustics are pleasantly quite because of the wood slat ceiling

Great rest stop. It is usually pretty clean. It was decorated very nicely for Christmas. I like that they have outdoor seating in the back as well and a kids corner with coloring pages, small tables and crayons.

Very easy to get to weather you’re going north or south. Not a lot of options for food and the deli is overpriced. They have some fancy drink refrigerators and that’s probably why water cost almost $5

If ya gotta go, here is where you should stop! Loved the aesthetic of the ceiling. Pretzels, pizza, Wendy's, Peet's coffee, and convenience store options to take care of your needs. Restrooms seemed like they were regularly cleaned, especially during busy times.

Very good to have a break when driving across the highway and from the very hot sun. It has AC,shops,restaurants,lottery machines,and tables. They are wheelchair accessible. Have a break at this place and when you’re ready,you can go back to the highway. One last thing,they have a lot of parking

One of the best rest stops in the east. I always make a point to stop there if I'm traveling through. I never feel like you're going to get some sickness being in there like other rest stops. Never too crowded, lots of windows and natural light. Bathrooms are clean, again not like other rest stops where bathrooms are 95F gross stinky and damp with that floor fan blowing who knows what around.

What a wonderful rest stop. Staff was courteous. Plenty of green grass for Kana to take a break. There is even a monument for women who served our country from Maryland. Very peaceful environment.

Auntie Anne’s, KFC, convenient store, Wendy’s, massage chair, Earl of sandwiches. They have the coupon booklets, souvenirs, souvenir pennies, plenty of tables inside and outside. Bathrooms are very clean. Way too many smokers. Not enough variety or selection.

So, it's your standard I-95 food stop--overpriced, mostly clean, and nothing open late at night. Men's room was in okay'ish shape but elsmelled like everythings been soaking in pee for the past year.

This is a great place to stop on the road while you need to take a break on your drive they have electric charges for your vehicles and plenty of toilets to use in the restrooms I passed here during Thanksgiving weekend and there was A-line for the restrooms was a bit shocking to see that at a rest stop overall they have a great selection of food places to grab a bite and was a really large spacious parking lot

It was ok. Stop at Delaware or MD house instead. Good availability for car chargers. Makes it possible to go from DC to Philly and back with a charge there (they have chademo) for the length of lunch or dinner. This was in our leaf. Compared to Delaware, md and chesapeake houses are far superior charge points. This is what gives it 4 instead of 3 stars. Md house is 4+ stars and is close by, so if you can make the distance there my recommendation is md house for charge, chesapeake house for emergency bathroom, and Delaware for great food, rest, Starbucks, and bathroom

This is the cleanest rest stop that I have ever visited. The bathroom is clean and the supplies (toilet paper and paper towels) are fully stocked. Multiple workers upkeep the common areas and they are super friendly. There are even massage chairs available if you need a little relaxation. Will definitely return! Keep up the GREAT work!!!

This is one of the smaller rest stops along the 95 corridor in MD and it was recently re-done top to bottom. It is super clean and well kept. They have family bathrooms as well as regular stalls for people without children. I wish they had the smaller toilets for toddlers in the family bathrooms but we managed. They have vending machines, restaurants, coffee shop, souvenir shop and a small grocery store. Additionally they have a small kids area which conveniently has a row of massage chairs right in front of it. This was our first time going since the renovations and had a good experience.

Like an airport, boring outside, big spacious inside and lots of selections for coffee, food, and bathrooms. Overcharges like an airport, too, with the captive audience. Wendy's, KFC, Coffee and a travel convenience shop.

There are trash cans and even dumpsters for people to use, yet truckers and travellers feel compelled to toss their trash over the guardrails and into the woods AS THEY ARE LEAVING the rest area. So much garbage littering the slopes of the forested areas. Check out the picture to see how much one person was able to clean up in a few hours. And there's LOTS more. It's a short distance to the Bay... we can do better!

My favorite rest stop along the I-95 corridor if you are near Maryland. Various food options and clean bathrooms are the main reasons why I enjoy stopping here for the journey north or south. Of course you can pick up souvenirs that align with the Chesapeake Bay area so I highly recommend it.

Great place to stop. They have mini market's inside to grad something quick and go or you can stay and eat at one of the restaurants like Wendy's, Pizza Hut, KFC, Earl or Sandwich, Peet's coffee, and Auntie Annie's. They also had vending machines and huge bathroom facilities.

Facility is clean. Easy to get in and out of the rest stop. We decided to eat at the Earl of Sandwich which left a lot to be desired. The cashier definitely seemed like he'd rather be somewhere else. The food was *very* expensive. The wait for the food was ridiculous! We waited over twenty minutes to get it food. I'm not sure why they were having problems - I should have realized that by the line of people waiting to get their food when I went to order. I will say that one we got it food, the sandwiches were very good. Don't know that is good back, though...

I was disappointed not to find recycling cans in the parking lot so I threw my recycling in the garbage but saw (upon leaving the building) they had one can recycling. I feel like it should be better placed and there should be more of them. Overall nice though.

Stopped here for the restrooms. Ended up getting a violent massage chair massage and some souvenir smashed pennies. Would definitely come back for the restrooms and pennies. The staff at the visitors bureau desk were helpful.

The Staff, (the Black Female that takes your food orders behind the register) on the weekends is very respectful, warm, lots of smiles and patient. I stop here every time I travel to and from MD/DC. I'm totally hooked on the delicious Orange drink!

Google says this place is open 24 hours. But there is a catch. Whereas it is "open" not all areas are open. We stopped in early morning and the only area opened was an area that was basically a convince store. No hot food or fast food like we were wanting. It was a good place to stretch and get a hot coffee though. And on the plus side, the bathroom was clean.

Nice plaza but the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant was less than pleasant. Ordered a chicken sandwich, walked outside and the sandwich was ice cold. Immediately went back in and the lady working the counter seemed disgusted that I complained. She took the sandwich back gave me a new, hot sandwich and slid it across the counter at me in an aggressive way. Won't go back to that restaurant again.

Well maintained and clean. Busy enough that it felt safe to take a nap in my car. Had to stop here multiple times and the food vendors were not all open each time - one of the few open was only accepting cash payment.

Nice building! Good food options. However, the service and quality of the food was "blah" at best. Auntie Annies was closed. Wendys staff was clueless and they were having difficulty figuring out how to ring up a customer in the line. Wound up at Pizza Hut and luckily grabbed the last two pizzas on the shelf. The pizza was delicious! Prices are "turnpike" high, but we needed to eat something.

It's an awesome place. To be specific, it is a worthy pit stop as you will find multiple options for food and beverages. The only place where we found tea on our journey between Virginia and New Jersey. Does have an outdoor seating option along with a nice clean indoor seating system. Well-maintained. Right outside, vehicle charging stations are available. Very close to it is a fuel station. Also the parking is ample. It does have a mini children's play area for coloring.

As most should know, this is a Maryland rest stop on I95 north of Baltimore. The bathrooms were clean, a big plus. Starbucks was good as usual. The sandwich shop was very good and saved us from the KFC which had serious issues like no chicken. The gift shop store place had the rest of our stuff and the bottled soda we bought were delicious, vanille cream and root beer some unknown brand but fabulous. A welcomed rest indeed!

It's small, accessible, nice and clean. The faucets in the women's room are not automatic, but the men's room and faucets are. It's got a really nice sunny lounge area and children's sections with small chairs and tables. Easy on and off.

Very clean. Much better experience than I'm used to - for a I-95 rest area. Tried my first egg n cheese sandwich at Wendy's! Awesome. They make eggs fresh, just behind the counter - again, at a rest area! Loved the idea of massage chairs, and there are a whole lot of them here. You won't be waiting in line for one of those. Ordering via kiosks, free WiFi. Rest Areas have finally arrived in the 21st century.

Always a rest stop when i pass by. I never eat because it is always crowded. It is a key rest stop for a long drive in or a long drive out. It is a good truck stop and a palace to get gas but again I only stop to use to restroom. It is normally clean but sometimes a wait and floors can be wet.

This is a really nice rest stop. The bathrooms 🚻 are very neat, but they did not block off every other stole like I have seen on other rest stops. they have a nice selection of food choices, just to list some Wendy's, Popeyes etc.Be ready to spent twice as much for something that cost 10 dollars on a regular will cost you about 19 to 20dollars , because you are on the highway which is understandable.I like the fact that they have charging stations 🚉 for electric cars, the one on the right side is the regular charging and on the left side they have a Tesla charging stations as well. The gas station ⛽ is separate from the rest area.

This service plaza is nice and clean BUT the restaurants close at 7pm!!!! It’s supposed to be a 24 hour service area. This is prime dinner hours and people are driving from all over and the mini mart area has a very limited selection so you just end up eating snacks or not eating at all.

I don't blame them for being crowded or for half the restaurants being closed. The place is fairly clean and a good stopping spot. The reason they're getting 3 stars is that there's one free car charging station and it only reaches 2 parking spots: a handicap spot and a spot that's not labeled as ev charging only and is usually taken by a non-ev.

One of the nicer rest stops on 95, it's clean and has an easy in and out design with tons of parking. They also have good places to walk your dog. The food and drink prices are common for i95 rest stops which means high but the fuel prices aren't over the top. Clean facility with clean restrooms. Overall a nice rest stop.

Stopped to use the restroom and get something to eat. The facility was really nice and restrooms were clean. The KFC employee that took my order was a little rude. I rarely complain about customer service, but if you walk up to a counter as costumer the opening statement should not be " WHAT DO YOU WANT?" Then when you order the feed back should not be "WHAT ELSE?". Then not tell me the price I have to read it from the register and no have a nice day or anything after me saying thank and have a great day. The food was great though.

Bathrooms are kind of clean, you can tell they make an effort but I run across the rudest people in this rest area. I see people bring their pets in when it clearly states you cannot. People slam doors in my face. I had to yell at someone trying to cut in line on a very busy holiday weekend because the employee just didn't care. The rest area can't really choose who comes in but it seems to Just be an awful experience every time. And it's one of the most expensive rest areas ever.

This is a very popular rest area but ladies, please be careful when entering the women's bathroom because I encountered a male while there. And he didn't look in the least embarrassed to be in the ladies bathroom. also, they have a decent variety of fast food restaurants. But it is not the cleanest rest area I have visited. This place has been renovated since I last came to the area. Very clean. Lots of parking. They have electric charging systems for both Tesla and what seems to be a universal one. Those are close to the entrance while I think that the Tesla ones are near the gas pumps but not sure. I just know that they are there because I asked someone who worked there.

Felt like an airport or nice bus station. They're trying to keep things pandemic clean, but I think it's about what it using is with more spacing. Ironically, Self-service fountain drink machines are still operating. So, if you're paranoid about getting sick with COVID-19, maybe stick to using the restrooms. There was someone constantly cleaning that area.

Restrooms were clean as was the rest of the building I saw. I was very disappointed with the service at Peete's coffee. The cashier wasn't exactly rude, but she wasn't friendly at all! The "fixings" area was a mess and there wasn't any cream and very little sugar available. When I informed the girls behind the counter I received a blank stare. Once I picked up the half and half pitcher and gave it to her, she finally got more and filled the dirty pitcher for me. I won't bother going there again!

Pine thing I did see, that was not on any of the signs amounting the day area was half a dozen or so chargers for electric vehicles. This is a very nice, clean and comfortable rest area. I really like the layout of the space, and the special child area. However, one of the best things that happened are the fact that my husband left his wallet on one of the tables on a night when we were both very tired from the road. I called the following day and Steward answered immediately and gave us the great news : the wallet was found! My husband went back to pick it up and everything was intact. It was just so great to know that there are still so many good people in this world... Thank you, Steward, and Chesapeake House Travel Plaza for the way you handled this. We will make sure to stop there next time we travel to Maryland!

Absolutely love Earl of Sandwich. Hands down best French Dip in Maryland. Great service and delicious meal. Here's the issue, and why this isn't 5 stars- Nothing to do with Earl, rather it's quite expensive for me to Uber to the Chesapeake House Travel Plaza during my office hours. This is also the location where I encountered two ex-spouses meeting up with Tinder dates. Earl of Sandwich is a real a blessing and a curse. I just wish it wasn't such a hot spot for Tinder meet ups.

Pit stop for food and gas. Ordered from KFC 3 piece chicken meal. It was not greasy like at home in Philadelphia. Rest room was being clean which was great to see.

Clean restrooms, well-lit, plenty of parking. However, I stopped on the day after Christmas and it was a disaster. Poorly staffed and only two registers open, lines wrapped through the entire rest area. Trash built up at the islands and in general staff was over stressed. I went 3 stars instead of 2 because it has always been one of the cleaner stops on 95 in the past, but that's stretching it based on my recent visit.

They rebuilt this rest stop a few years ago and it is well maintained and pretty clean for a place that has thousands of people in and out all day every day. So, one of the better rest stops you'll find.

Cheap cheap cheap. If I lived in this area I would come here for the food and the atmosphere. Watch out for Earls though, turned me into a human soft serve machine (squirt squirt). Brian can be tough to deal with at the Pizza Hut express, but can't beat the price and quality. Claw machines are almost guaranteed to have you hit pay dirt. Would highly recommend

Earl of Sandwich..rare, was raw. Cold in the middle. Had to toss it. Great service and friendly. Hubby liked the hot ham and cheese
