Did the full day tour from Seward to Anchorage. Our driver was amazing. Not only did we stop at some awesome places- Glacier, animal conservation centre and tram. Allan also told us so much about the history of Alaska, Allan could definitely tell a good story and has a wonderful sense of humour. Thank you for a wonderful day.

Highly recommend! Beautiful new bus with plenty of room! Huge windows! Our tour guide was outstanding! He was a wealth of information! So nice to stop at a glacier and visitor's center. Lots of wonderful information from the National Park Service. Then, can't say enough about the Wildlife Conservation Center. So many rescued beautiful wild animals. So impressed. Highly recommend this company and tour!

We booked this transport, even though I typically hate narrated tours, because it seemed the most direct. However, Rick made it fun! With a wealth of knowledge and great humor, he enhanced the already beautiful drive. Chase did us well getting loaded/unloaded and driving us safely from Seward to Anchorage. I fully recommend this family business and will use them exclusively when back in the area.

The ride was pleasant -- bus was nice. It rained the whole distance from Seward to Anchorage but was still reasonably pleasant. We stopped at Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Even in the rain, it was a good stop. We saw 3 bears and several moose and a few other animals of Alaska. The booking was simple and direct. The company was in contact with us with information to make sure we made it to the correct bus and delivered us directly to our hotel. We will use them again!

We used ACT big bus to get from the cruise terminal to Marriot Downtown Anchorage. Check in progress was efficient and easy. We left a little early, just after the last scheduled guest was loaded, which was nice. The bus was clean, the ride was smooth, and the seats were pretty comfortable. Our bus driver was pretty new to the area though, so our narration was a bit off. The driver was great though, super nice and friendly, easy to hear and understand. I would definitely recommend and I would use them again.

My husband and me enjoyed this bus tour. There were multiple stops along the way and Alan the driver/narrator was fantastic. He narrated the whole ride and was very interesting and friendly. We stopped at a park and was able to take a walk to see a glacier. Next stop was at an animal sanctuary where we were able to see many animals including bears and we ate lunch. Lastly we stopped at a ski resort and took a tram to the top of a mountain with a beautiful view and we’re able to take a walk on a trail to go higher. There were many views and also a restaurant.

Wonderful experience! We had some special circumstances with our reservation before the trip and ACT was prompt and courteous helping us. The day of pickup was easy as can be and our bus driver was excellent! He gave us history and personal experiences the whole time. We went to the wildlife center and it wasn't open as soon as anticipated so he quickly diverted us to another glacier. Bonus! I highly recommend this company and tour for anyone coming back on an Alaskan cruise!

Rick was so entertaining on our trip from Seward to Anchorage. Very interesting stories, history and all around fun! The bus was comfortable and clean. Best of all on time! Chase was a great help loading/unloading luggage and was a very safe driver. We would happily use your service in the future.

This was an excellent service I took from the end of the cruise in Whittier to the airport in Anchorage on 6/29/2022! Five of us showed up early ready to go as recommended in the ad, but told there were 6 more to wait on. They waited until the last minute. Other than that we all got along with each other and the driver. Our driver was excellent and seemed to truly care about us having a good time. Highly recommend the ACT Big Bus!

We took a transfer from Seward to Anchorage at the end of our cruise that included a stop at the conservation center. The bus ride was smooth and the driver was quite considerate. He assisted loading our luggage onto the bus and there was a small step stool used to help us get on and off the bus that was nice. He acknowledged that he was talkative and that was definitely an understatement. We didn't mind that too much, but the only reason why this isn't 5 stars is that the driver did not really make it clear that he was stopping for our stop. Granted that it was due to making it more convenient for another group to get off at another hotel, but that would be something to improve on if at all possible. There shouldn't really be a situation where a stop is missed. Overall though, I wouldn't hesitate to use this transfer again in the future.

The ride was enjoyable and smooth. Our driver was able to share a lot of information about the area, pointing out different points of interest along the way. He was personable and reliable, and he was careful with his passengers and their luggage, even letting them know that they could come out and make sure that their luggage was tended well when he let us off at the first stop. He did a fantastic job of getting us there safely and in a timely manner.

Hopped straight on to the bus at the cruise terminal. Great service and very informative, our driver was fantastic, gave us a running commentary on the way to Anchorage. Stopped at the animal refuge where we were able to see a lot of the animals close up. Would definitely recommend them as the best form of transportation to and from the cruise terminal.

The company met every expectation without fail, i.e., information updates, timeliness, cleanliness, courtesy- and cost-wise. The added benefit of the guide as we drove through the scenic, historic route was entertaining and informative. What was hoped to be a mechanism to get us from Seward to our aircraft departure in Anchorage on time turned out to be a most memorable occasion. Kudos to our driver and tour guide. A simple bus trip easily competed against many quality events on a cruise from Vancouver to Seward.

This was one of the highlights of my Alaska trip! They were very well organized and fit quite a few things into our day. The animal sanctuary was one of my favorites and I can’t think of a better way to get from Seward to Anchorage. Our tour guide was fantastic, friendly, personable, and kept the facts and stories coming the entire way. We were constantly entertained which is a feat for an 8 hr day. Beautiful drive too!

My trip from the Seward port to the Wildlife Center and then onto Anchorage was great! Despite the rainy weather, my driver was friendly and upbeat, providing us with information about the area throughout the entire drive. The wildlife center was a very cool stop, and a highlight of mine and my mother's vacation!

Our narrator, Rick, was awesome. Had all kinds of fun stories and interesting facts to tell. The name wildlife tour was a bit misleading, as it was one quick stop to look at belugas (he also does REALLY good photos as well, though!) and then an hour at a wildlife center, when my hope was to see the animals in the wild. However, it was an entertaining way to pass the drive to Seward, and I would do it again if I knew I could get the same narrator!

Absolutely loved our tour from the cruise terminal in Whittier to Anchorage Airport (Full day tour). Our guide, Alan, was very informative, entertaining and flexible! He really wanted us to have a great experience and it showed. Lunch was included in our tour- sandwiches were fresh and it was a nice sized lunch with large bottle of water. Great value with all included for the price (tram tix/wildlife park tix/lunch/transportation/narration). Timely tour pick up and airport drop off were exactly as described. Would highly recommend.

Great transfer from the cruise port in Seward to the airport in Anchorage. Our guide Rick was funny and informative. The hour stop at the wildlife preserve felt a little rushed--even 15 more minutes would have helped. All in all a great ride.

This 8.5 hour tour was fabulous! Allen, our tour guide, was outstanding! Not only did we learn a lot, we saw gorgeous glaciers, eagles and even a moose! I would highly recommend this tour. What a great way to travel between Seward and Anchorage! A+++

They, Anna and Rick were excellent. Got us to the airport without any issues and even provided some humor at the God awful hour of 6am. Why we had to be up and off ship so early who knows. But the transportation and the brief stop at the Alaska Wildlife Center was excellent. We are planning another cruise to Alaska in a couple of years and we mostly definitely use ACT again.

This was THE way to go from Whittier to Anchorage after our cruise! The driver and narrator were so hospitable, informative and fun. The motor coach was very comfortable, and we absolutely loved the stopover at the wildlife center. Would definitely book A.C.T. again!

Bus came on scheduled for two of us for trip to airport. Driver is professional, friendly and pleasant. Bus is clean. Our greatest relief was actually seeing the ACT sign at the cruise terminal; tells us that this is real. Might wanna put that note about the 'ACT sign in the terminal' in the many email confirmations and reminders (also helpful).

We highly recommend ACT for you cruise to Anchorage (or vice versa) transportation. We took the all day tour of the sights between Whittier and Anchorage. We had the best driver/tour guide , Alan (Allen). He was extremely knowledgeable, funny, attentive and a great personality. We hated the tour to end.

The bus ran a little late for our boarding time and it was raining during the trip. The walk to see the bears was filled with potholes of water and would have been nice to be driven closer like some of the other tour buses. Our driver was very nice and informed about the area.

This is a great way to get to or from your boat in Seward. Our guide Rick was highly entertaining and Anna was a very good driver. The scenery is beautiful and you get a little taste of the wonderful weird that is the Alaska populace.

Rick was very informative and great sense of humour. Anna was an amazing driver. Even when there was a slight hiccup with the wildlife centre changing their hours a beautiful detour was provided and we still got to see the wildlife centre.

This bus service was a great way to get to Seward from Anchorage. The cost was far, far less than a rental car. Picked up right where they described at the airport and dropped off where we selected in Seward. Then picked up at the same Seward location and dropped off at the airport for departure. Will use again if we ever get the chance to go back.

It was excellent. We had only one complaint Our driver/guide never stopped talking while he was driving. Useful information about what we were seeing or about to see is great. But his long detailed stories we found boring and made us sleepy

What a brilliant tour. We were met off the cruise ship by the reps who clearly explained where to go and which coach we were on. We were priviledged to have had Alan as our driver (Coach 4). He was very knowledgable about the whole area and gave some really detailed real life stories. How he delivered these as he drove I really don't know. The location stops were very good too and Alan gave detailed timings to be back as some customers had flights to get once in Anchorage. He was very well organised and he well deserves 10/10. If your'e booking with A.C.T make sure you get Alan. I guess the other drivers may be as good too.

Our driver was fantastic, a brilliant narration and a lovely fellow! Paperwork and an email enquiry to confirm stated bus would turn up at 7-30 and leave by 8-30 arriving at the airport at 11am. Bus arrived late but left early and arrived 20mins late at the airport even though the driver said he was 10 mins early! Might not seem much but with tight flight connections it was super stressful to not be given the right information. Overall I recommend but give yourself more time for connections!

ACT Big Bus was GREAT! Pre-travel I had to cancel one person from my reservation. Done. Then, at the end of my trip I had to change the departure time for the remaining people in my reservation. Done. ACT was very accomodating and easy to work with. AND, they are the least expensive. In addition, RICK was an hilarious tour guide. He made us laugh as he told stories about what we were seeing along the route to airport. Funny guy and highly informative. We sawbeluga whales along the coastline. Very fleeting, but we spotted 5 of their backs rolling south. Per his recommendation, I enjoyed the art and museum at the airport while I waited for my flight. Wouldn't have known about it otherwise.

There were 2 different sets of instructions on how to meet the bus. One said wait in the outside by the Alaska Airlines luggage carousel. The the message when you call, said to wait inside and someone will come find you. They didn't. It was a good thing I went looking outside at the buses and drivers.

Did the full day tour from Whittier to our hotel in Anchorage. This was a great way to end our cruise and start our Alaskan land tour. The Alaska Wildlife Center stop was way better than I was expecting. The Mt. Alyeska tram was nice, but I live in Colorado, so I wasn’t as impressed as others. The box lunch was fine. We also stopped at the Anchorage Market and Festival, which was a bonus stop. My dad has a hard time getting around, and the driver kindly reserved the front seat for him. This helped make his ride much more comfortable.

Thanks for a good ride into Seward since renting a car one way was so expensive, this was a great alternative! Driver was very nice and I was picked up promptly from the Airport Cruise Door 1 at baggage claim area. I was an independent traveler on my own. The bus was neat, clean and comfortable. Driver makes one stop for a bathroom break on the way down to Seward. (Taking the train back to Anchorage.) Thanks again!

We have used ACT twice for a direct transfer from ANC to Whittier to start southbound cruises. Both experiences were ideal. ACT is professional, reliable and personable, the buses are very comfortable and clean, and the price is a much better deal than using the cruise line transfers. It is also nice to support a local family-run business rather than the big cruise companies. When Covid shut down the cruise/travel industry in 2020, ACT was smart to reach out to those of us with paid reservations and pleaded to let them keep our payment as future credit so that they might be better able to survive. They were smart to add some reassuring open-ended options for us, so we took the risk to trust them. ACT kept their word and honorably followed through perfectly two years later when we were finally able to take our cruise last month. We highly recommend using ACT for transportation/cruise transfers when in Alaska.

He really left a lasting impression on us and all throughout the trip on the cruise my husband would say do you wanna a picture, which as I normally always do, I said no way! Then he would remind me of what Rick said. And I would take the picture. His advice on living and being in the moment, really chanced our outlook. We thought we were just catching a bus to the ship, but we literally have a changed philosophy now. Thank you Rick for your “Rickisms” and comedy. We throughly enjoyed listening to you and being present with you. If you ever do land tours of Alaska, sign us up. We would love to join you again!

We were so glad we chose A.C.T. Big Bus for our transportation from Seward to Anchorage after our Holland America cruise ended. We signed up for the all day tour and our driver, Allen, loaded all of our baggage into the coach and then explained all of the upcoming details for our trip from Seward to Anchorage. The price was very reasonable, the coach (bus) was very comfortable and the trip included beautiful scenery with wonderful commentary and interesting Alaska facts from Allen. We had stops at Exit Glacier, the Wildlife Sanctuary and the Alyeska Resort for a Tram ride. A delicious lunch was also supplied (included with the price paid for the bus trip). We enjoyed our experience very much and wish to thank Ana for keeping us up to date before the trip and Allen for his safe driving and making the trip fun with his stories and interesting facts. Alan was an amazing tour guide. We did the all the day tour with drop off in anchorage. We docked at 5am in Seward after sailing the Inside passage on Celebrity, but didn't fly out of Anchorage until 8pm that same day. The cruiseline did not offer this kind of excursion that would get us back to the airport by 5pm, so we weren't sure what to expect, but the reviews were quite positive, so we went for it and are SO glad we did. We had a family of 7 of varying physical capacities (active teenager son to sister in law with a cane) and the tour satisfied us all. Alan's wealth of knowledge of everything Alaska, his humor, and ability to converse without tiring out the group made this last minute ride to the airport surprisingly one of the best excursions of our entire cruise. I especially enjoyed Alan's very passionate storytelling of the Iditarod race--how it all began. We all enjoyed the three stops, which allowed us to explore at our leisure. The lunch was filling, clean, and a great change from 7 days of cruise food. Don't hesitate to book this transfer/excursion!

Not only was the service great, but we had a wonderful time with the bus driver/guide! He was funny and super informative and we absolutely loved that the ride down to Whittier included the Alaskan Wildlife Preservation Center!! A perfect way to get where you need to go for a great price!!!

ACT was waiting for us to arrive @7 am with a check in lady inside the cruise terminal who then directed us to the driver and bus. There were several buses ready and waiting for the passengers so I was pleased to see it was being used by more than just a few! The driver was pleasant and knowledgeable and the tour guide knew her stuff about the area and tried to crack a few jokes to keep us awake since we were all sleepy. We stopped at the Wildlife refuge as part of the tour which was a nice 1/2 way point to get out for a bit to see the moose, bear, and other animals. We were dropped off at the doorstep to our hotel after the airport transfers were dropped off which was super nice considering there were 7 in our group which is hard to find a shuttle from the airport for. Nice clean bus overall and nice tour guide and bus driver. Would recommend. The only downfall, we had a full bus and the couple who got on last claimed they get car sick easily and were of larger body size and they found there were no seats left on the bus for them towards the front and without having to share with a stranger. This is not the driver or tour guides problem but my suggestion for future passengers that fit this description, make sure to get off the boat on the first 7 am disembarkation that you fill out on the paper or talk to guest services not the 7:45 am so that you can get the front seats. Maybe even pay for 2 seats if you feel you need the extra space as it was annoying to listen to this couple literally get on last, throw a fit and whine about their health condition. You didn't just wake up with this health condition and body size that morning so please be respectful of others (guests and crew) and plan ahead. Unless the bus wants to put a disclaimer out there about these 2 issues for future. Overall, anything directly with ACT is great and they handled the 2 complainers nicer than I would have! :-)

I recommend this tour for those who don't want to sit at the airport after a cruise. The only thing I would change is those patrons who go to America's best value or Puffin Inn don't have to be let off across the street at Holiday Inn, America's Best Value Inn has a huge parking lot for the bus to turn around. He gave us clues on where to look out the windows for the best possibilities of wildlife sightings. I currently saw a black bear, a mountain goat, several eagles and a huge eagle nest. We learned about Beluga Point and several other interesting tidbits. Representatives were easy to locate at the terminal .

Big thanks to our driver Joe for a wonderful coach transfer from Anchorage to Seward cruise terminal last week. Amazing scenery plus informative and entertaining commentary throughout the 8 hour journey - what's not to like. We've been on some coach trips that stopped for a few minutes here and there for photos but this one was much better with 3 sizeable stops at Turnagain Arm, the Wildlife centre (where we saw bears, moose, musk ox, wolves etc) and Exit Glacier (where a 20 minute walk took us to the base of this glacier and a glimpse of some more bears completely in the wild). Highly recommended.

We cruised into Whittier on June 15th, 2019. We arranged with ACT to get us to Anchorage. We setup well in advance, late November. They didn't charge us until January, which was nice. They were at the terminal for us right when they said they would be, 7:30ish AM. Got loaded up, into a beautiful, brand new bus, by a very helpful driver. John I think. He loaded our bags for us, and we boarded the bus. We saw him load everyone's bags based on where they were getting off, making boarding very easy. We paid for the transfer and the wildlife tour to the Anchorage Wildlife Conservation Area. Our driver was very knowledgeable about the area, and narrated for us the full trip, from information about the tunnel, about the wildlife, the 1964 earthquake, even to how the Turnagain arm got it's name. Very informative, and very nice. We got to the conservation center, and he was able to point out a couple things, and gave advice as to what to see while we were there. We had an hour there, so as to make it to Anchorage at our scheduled time. We left a bit late due to one family getting on the wrong bus, but once they arrived we were on our way. We arrived at the Anchorage airport at approx 11:50, missing our scheduled time by 5 minutes. Not bad. He unloaded all the luggage for those getting off at the airport, and gave a pleasant "Thank You" to everyone that go off. Was a wonderful ride, and we ever need another transfer between Whittier and Anchorage, the ACT Big Bus will be our first choice

Directions provided in the confirmation email were very clear; the bus arrived just as stated; and all ACT personnel we interacted with were kind and professional. This was the perfect choice for us. The bus was right there at disembarkation. The driver was helpful, friendly, and informative. We stopped for 1 hour at a wildlife preserve which gave us a bathroom / snack break as well as an opportunity to see the animals. This was a tour bus, rather than a school bus, something we were quite glad about.

We where a little shocked by how expensive transport was to get from Seward, to Anchorage (coming from RSA our exchange rate is not favourable) so opted for the bus, which was the most reasonable option. A great way to get to Anchorage after a cruise. The day is spent on a comfortable coach and provides a few activities. An easy walk to see a glacier close up, a visit to a wildlife park and in town a visit to see the locals trying to catch salmon. The driver/guide was informative and humorous.

Sherry(tour guide) and Tyrell (driver) were the best. Sherry was very informative about Whittier, the surrounding landscape, and the Alaskan Wildlife Conservation Center. We thoroughly enjoyed her wit and laughter. Tyrell was an excellent driver. It was an easy transition from the cruise to the tour bus and from the tour bus to the airport after visiting AWCC. The only downside to the tour was the weather, but that cannot be controlled.

Transfer from Princess Cruise Ship at Whittier to Anchorage via the Alaska Wildlife Centre. We booked direct and it was all very simple & well organised - great price too. The journey was narrated - very entertaining! - and had an hour's stop at the wildlife centre where we had time to stretch our legs and see some of the local wildlife (rescues) up close.

ACT Big Bus was a great way to get to the airport from the Wittier cruise terminal. Once in the Wittier terminal a ACT representative greeted us and gave us directions to the bus. Loading and unloading of our bags was quick. The drivers narrative during the drive was great. I would use again.

(Don't get caught in the back row. the bathroom stinks when the door is open and it blocks your view out the right side windows). If I were in the back row, It'd be giving a different review.
