Harlem Cigar Room is great. I’m a cigar newbie and have learned a lot here. They are super approachable, helpful and full of knowledge. They always send me home with the perfect cigar for my taste. Customer service is incredible and if you’re new to cigar smoking, don’t be intimidated. They make you feel like family. Can’t wait to enjoy a cigar in the lounge!

As two women going to purchase cigars the Harlem Cigar Room made me feel so comfortable. I was visiting NYC on vacation and I wanted to bring my husband back a gift. I had no idea what I was getting but the gentleman in the store was so helpful. I ended up FaceTiming my husband to make sure he didn’t want anything else and he got carried away about all the great cigar options the Harlem Cigar Room had to offer. Thank you so much for all of your help and the great picture he took because his phone had a better camera!

One of my favorite hidden gems of Harlem. I stopped by after seeing it featured on @humansofny. If you're a cigar aficionado; they have an excellent variety that doesn't rely heavily on bigger brands (i.e., Gurkha, Drew Estate, Diesel). Got to explore their huge selection of Nicaraguans especially; I tried one of their house blends and definitely recommend to anyone visiting the city. Locals are friendly too. Angie was working when I visited and she's very knowledged + hospitable. Ask for a Cuban Coffee if you visit! 10/10 will come back soon.

Was a last minute decision to head out to cigar bar after a concert at the Beacon. Upon entering, everyone made us feel at home. The humidor is a good size with a broad selection of cigars. The ventilation system is one of the best we have experienced.

From Germany: vacation: ..just looking for nice place. AAAAND found it right there. Small but very cosy. Realy nice people good filled humidor and the owner.....one of the nices people you can met. Not just to sell you a cigar because he wants to see the guests happy. To sit there is a two cigar policy. But when you buy there an extra cigar( and you will😏) it is not that problem. If you want real people and a good smoke you have to go to this place!

This is a beautiful place. Actually wished I lived closer. I would be there everyday. The people are wonderful, atmosphere is amazing. Inside and outside. The host is incredible.

You walk down the stairs to this large wooden door. You just know something great awaits you on the other side. Very clean and intimate space. The owners were delightful. They came around and made sure that me my guests were fine, asked if we needed anything else. Comfortable leather chairs great cigars and it is a bring your own bottle situation. Get there early because this place gets really crowded after 10 on the weekend. There's also a juke box that you can pick sounds you wanna hear. I will definitely be back.

I want to say that Felix and his crew is the best. I already knew about this place from a mutual friend. But what I can say when I tried it again with my Significant other it is still outstanding. The customers that comes in and out is always Courteous to us and also the cigar workers like D she is great among others that work there. Perfect cigar lounge. Found it on Google Maps when I was in need of a good smoke. It's on the corner of the block so you might miss it if you're not careful because it's actually in the basement of the building it's attached to. It's a great environment; good air circulation, good smokes (big name brands plus Dominican hand rolled) and a great crowd. Did I mention you can bring your own drinks? So yeah, I'll be returning.

Enjoyed this spot and while there got to chance to see how Harlem is changing for the better. This spot has been around for a while but changed there name. The cigar selection is comparable to some of the bigger lounges. Staff is friendly and will go out of there way to make you comfortable. If you want a place, past 125th street, with a well-stocked cigar selection, comfortable chairs and a few amenities (BYOB: bring your own bourbon and they'll provide a glass, ice and water for a small fee) this is a good spot. They will cut or punch your cigar per your preference. If you arrive with several people, they'll help you find a comfortable spot for your group. They have TV screens, so you can watch the local team if they're on and the owner is very helpful with picking a cigar. It is not a staid or reserved atmosphere. If you'd prefer something more reserved, one should feel free to drop in and check out their walk in humidor with a nice price range of cigars and buy something for your own personal use. Based on location, crowd is primarily Latino and African-american and the staff is always welcoming to all I've seen walk through the door. I like to drop by on a Friday night to enjoy a long smoke and sip on Makers Mark. It's a guilty pleasure to have a spot like this in the neighborhood.
