Great place to have a stick and relax. Situated in the heart of downtown DC and close to a slew of restaurants and other businesses. The staff is very knowledgeable and assist you as soon as you walk in the door. It's a great place for the cigar newbie and of course more seasoned veterans of cigars. They also have a huge selection of cigars as well as accessories such as humidors, lighters, humidity packs and cutters. The humidity control is spot on as the sticks are in great shape overall. There is also an open bar that serves alcoholic beverages. Parking is not good, however they are close to Metro transportation. There is plenty of seating either inside the area or in there enclosed outside lounge area with TV. All in all a nice place to have a smoke

I brought my friend here because he loves cigars. The atmosphere was very comfortable and felt like home. We were watching the World Cup and the staff, even the customers were engaged with one another. Nice cigar selections also. When we walked out of the place my friend said he has to bring his boys with him this time lol. This spot is definitely a winner.

CDM is incredible. Easily the best cigar lounge in DC. Great selection, good prices, AMAZING service. I've been smoking cigars for 18 years and been to a lot of lounges and this is top three for me. The bartenders are also very good. Every time I'm in DC I come here for a few hours and chill with a few cigars. Never disappoints. A+

Had a grand time at the Fedora and Pumps event that was held here. It was not my first time visiting, but definitely the most memorable. The atmosphere was electric, staff was superb, the drinks were delicious, and the space was inviting. The have a great selection of cigars. Would definitely recommend coming back and visiting again.

Good place for cigars, prices are retail and they have a good selection with some hardwood to find smokes. The space is somewhat smaller than I expected. I have visited CDM in Puerto Rico and it was a more luxurious experience.

I enjoy several great refreshing cocktails with a fine cigar. Well worth a visit for locals and traveller's. I plan to stop by again when I visit the Capital again.

Terrific place to enjoy a cigar in DC. Great selection of cigars with a covered curbside patio. The bar inside serves both liquor and coffee. Staff is friendly and helpful. It was raining while I was there. It was great sitting in on the patio and listening to the weather.

Absolutely a great place for a smoke! A few of us from out of town came here for the first time and we were given access to the VIP lounge, simply for being there for the first time. The staff there was incredibly helpful and welcoming, which definitely added warmness to the visit. Lastly, the selection of both cigars and alcohol were well above board in expectations. Definitely come in here and try this place out; had I been from the area, they definitely would have gained an additional regular from our visit.

In all honesty, I love their old location better and the staff. I have been to the new location few times it is chill in the patio. I just don't like that not everyone can go down stairs and chill, you have to be a member to be there. The cigar selection is awesome. My number one choice is The Lock Jaw set, amazing selections. Great. Absolutely great place to purchase sticks. An inviting atmosphere. And the guy there knows his stuff. Being that I am new to the cigar life, he pointed me in a great direction. I got 2 sticks for about $25. I wouldve paid that much for one at any of the places I smoke. Gotta check them out. It's around the corner from Ozio's. Walking distance.

Great Cigar Lounge. The Atmosphere was very good and the Manager Steve Burch and staff were very professional and very knowledgeable. It was our first time and they gave us a tour and made us feel right at home. The manager Steve really did a great Job with us along with providing service to all the customers. The lounge offers different aspects that would allow you to be extremely comfortable at different locations in the lounge. Steve advised us about memberships and great hours. It's not a large cigar bar, however, the atmosphere makes up for the size. Who doesn't love being outside when the weather is not too hot and not humid? Enjoying one of their many cigars on the indoor/outdoor patio was great. Everyone was attentive from the bartender who made my drinks to the cigar expert who helped me make an informed purchase. Overall, I will be back again. It's something about this place that was comforting and secluding although you're in the middle of a busy street.

I have been to the casa many times. The bartenders are all top notch, good for many great laughs and great cocktails. The staff is able to make appropriate recommendations for your cigar palate preferences. Phenomenal whiskey selection and Local beers on tap as well. My expectations for a cigar lounge experience have always been exceeded here... tough to find a better experience especially in dmv area... Period.

Great selection with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The space is open with high ceilings, so it's not stuffy or smokey. Location is convenient to the metro stop on the corner. Prices are decent and there are usually deals and promotions, so be sure to ask. I really want to stress how nice the staff is; they take their time to understand what you like and make excellent recommendations, which is a valuable service with a personal touch that you don't get everywhere else.

Recalled seeing GM at MC location in Hallandale, FL...great customer service by he and the others working that Wed, Thurs and Fri night. Note to all MC employees across the country...should make it a habit to ask a customer if he/she is a member. I find that I don’t often get my discount even at my home base and I hate to feel like a pest and constantly remind but it looks like I’ll have to...otherwise defeats one of the purposes of me paying for a membership. I been going to JR (DC) for 4 maybe 5 years now. The staff were always helpful and knowledgeable. They don't press you as soon as you step in the door like the small time tobacco shops (who know very little to nothing about fine cigars). The cigars (name brands and JR Alternatives) are at an affordable price. I stayed to enjoy the lounge area twice. The ventilation is perfect.

The furniture is inviting, comfortable and plentiful. Good selection of cigars, everything is nicely laid out. If you like non Cubans, this place is for you. Also sells a decent range of cigar accesories like cutters, punchers, lighters, carry boxes. But despite the active humidification i seem to have purchased some really dry cigars. In addition, the salesperson mistook spotty white mold for plume, and plume is hard to develop in a shop environment like that.

If you want a nice box to organize your things, but don't want to pay Container Store prices, come here and browse their selection. Instead of discarding the old cigar boxes, they sell the best one for only $2 a piece! I've found so many rare and beautiful boxes here, and the staff is so friendly and helpful.

I didn't smoke prior to hanging out with , not cigarettes, but I've come to smoke a few cigars that my expert former colleague picked out and had cut the shop. After work we'd swing by the shop and then head to Lafayette Park to just sit and relax. Anyway, large selection, helpful staff to sort through, and makes a classy gift for some guys.

If you're going to get cigars in the city, this place has better prices than W. Curtis Draper. Otherwise, cigar stores are cigar stores. Georgetown Tobacco is better (local, non-chain business). But this pace is convenient when you're downtown.
