I became aware of Tampa Sweethearts when I lived in Orlando and came over to Tampa for an event/fundraiser for a charity, that was put on by Arturo Fuente. Not only was the event and fundraiser outstanding with great cigars, great food, and most of all an outstanding evening. This was the night that I will always remember. I had the honor of meeting Arturo Fuente, Jr, Carlito Fuente, and Cynthia Fuente. They took time to talk to me, talk about their cigars and I even was given a Cigar from Carlito Fuente right from his front pocket, of course it was an outstanding Opus X. That night has made me a lover of Arturo Fuente and Prometheus Cigars, because the Fuente family actually took time to talk to me and always thanked me for honoring them and their family legacy by purchasing their families cigars. That was over 15 years ago... and I am still a lover of all things Fuente. I have visited Tampa Sweethearts numerous times and was always given prompt attention and service and I had the good fortune of meeting Arturo Fuente, Jr several times when coming to Tampa in the store. TheyTheirre customer service, professionalism and the gratitude that I have always been shown when buying Fuente cigars from Tampa Sweethearts or now that I live in PA, ordering them from Tampa Sweethearts. I highly recommend that any cigar lover take time to stop by and visit. You can really have a nice experience and be able to enjoy some of the rarest cigars on earth. Thank you!

Great place and owner by the Fuente family. Arturo was extending helpful selecting some rate blends I was looking for a well as provided me with a few that were not even listed on their website. They keep a log of your purchases and are willing to make recommendations based on your likes. What a great asset to the industry. Definitely coming back when I'm in town and ordering online. Friendly staff and very good cigars. I like to peruse shelves and all questions, unfortunately I can't do that. Covid protocols are in place. Covid protocols are: Look on their website for what you want, call, place order over the phone, then go pick up your order. Call again when you arrive and they will walk it right out to your car. Very simple. I can't wait until covid is lifted so I can chat with the folks in more detail.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. You can not go into their store, only call or order on line, then go pick up your cigars. They will come out to your car and deliver. I received 5 cigars in a plastic bag with matches, but no AF Humidoe to keep them fresh. I now have to take another trip back to het the humidor - wish they would have asked me about that when I was there! I spoke w Mr Fuente and he assisted with keeping them fresh (I'm not a cigar person).

Send email 6 months ago never heard return from. Been there before at this facility very small not like old place. It's very difficult to get in and out of very difficult to get in and out of. Used to be able to get in with a big truck pull up in driveway go in and buy sticks. No chance of that now facility too small. Having said that still very friendly staff but don't try getting in there with any kind of truck. Having said that, I know that they stick a piece of paper in your order saying thank you and signed by Arturo fuente but don't expect any kind of return email. So I think it's not personal but they are well,... More interested in your order than you if you go there in person they'll treat you very nice. Very friendly. But if you have questions you can forget about being answered to. Having said that great cigars don't know what happened to them but used to be very friendly very personal online and in person having said that still love their cigars but., Don't expect anything back online as far as any questions go. As long as you are there in person to purchase you will be treated very nicely however online don't expect much

Ordered a box of AF 8-5-8 SG from their website, was shipped out right away and I received it very quickly. Prices are not marked up like you would expect for hard to find or limited-release cigars. Package came with a hand written note from Mr. Fuente which was a great personal touch. Will definitely buy from Tampa Sweethearts again!

I enjoy good cigars(specifically the Fuente line). Did a little research, found Jr. and David right in my own back yard. These guy's are great, a wealth of knowledge and they treat their clients like royalty. First visit I purchased a couple of the apprentice cigars and a very good Fuente. I smoked one of the apprentice cigars and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The knowledgeable and friendly staff are very helpful. Prices are competitive. Arturo Fuente Jr is usually in the store and extremely friendly and willing to discuss his family history and cigars. Small, local, family run for generations business. Limited selection of quality artisan hand rolled cigars. All the accessories are available as well: cutters, lighters, ashtrays, humidor, etc. Great little shop just off the beaten path in the heart of Ybor.

Whenever we travel to tampa to pickup Bolts tickets or attend a game, this is an absolute must stop. We've visited other cigar shops and cigar bars in Ybor, but Sweethearts is hands down the best shop in town. The shop is third generation Fuentes owned and the staff very knowledgeable, friendly. Their selection is quite good, something for anyone that likes to partake. It is not unsual for ladies to visit, with or without a manly friend and they are dog welcoming to well behaved 4-legged kids. Out of town visitors receive the same courtesy as long-time local visitors. I definitely recommend spending a couple of hours relaxing in a comfy chair or on the porch.
