Always, ALWAYS make sure your total is right. They scan products, which ideally should populate a correct price, but then they manually key in the total. If you’re paying with a card you then put your card into a terminal that DOES NOT show your total. In the past a rat toothed looking dude tried to charge me $18 for one RPM pod, they charge 6$ per pod, and receive them in packs of 3. This is easy math, but kinda sus. It’s legitimately kinda hard to convince them they made a mistake, and they seem apprehensive to literally just scan the product again. Dude tried to charge me $60.99 for a $20.99 product today. If you’re paying with debit, watch out for it. Accident or not, you’re out that money. Also, invest in hairnets for people packing your house brand Kratom. A foot long blonde hair in every pack is not just ‘plant fibers’.

Went to House of Pipes today to grab an affordable bong and grinder. Ruben helped me out & was so pleasant. They showed me several options within my budget. The bong was $40 and I think the grinder was around $20, but it’s a mini sharp stone which is excellent. They had lots of options & I believe they own a vape store right next door!

The service there was excellent and the staff were also quite knowledgeable of the products that they sell in the whole establishment or do not carry. It is an oasis in the giant sea of sand made into glass. This is a local vape shop which sells the latest trending smoking apparatuses popular both around the world and just as necessary and loved locally as well. Competitive prices but generally cheaper than mist other pipe/head shop in the downtown area.

My experience today was above w Extraordinary. Im not up to date on the new style or forms due go being stuck in old school lifestyle. The assistance we recieved from Dillon covered everything from equipment use of what Kratom might have the best results for us. Awesome work man. And if it is something they don't stock, and you happen to a regular, the ordering manager is always willing to check with their suppliers to see if it available. You just have to catch him when he is there..

They have just about everything there. A little higher priced on glass pieces, but better than average quality (2018). 2019 January - still have unique pieces. Prices are outrageous. Quality on many glass pieces has diminished a lot. Not sure if ownership changed or not, but the choice to eliminate the higher priced better quality and replace it with overpriced low quality glass isn't a winner in my book. 2019 February - til March1, 50% off all glass pieces. UNLESS OF COURSE you get in to take advantage of the sale, they change it to "items above $5", but never put that on any of the hand drawn in store posters and never even hinted at by the word of mouth FREE advertising over the past two weeks. I wasn't able to purchase bubble stems 2 for $5 since "they are already so cheap, they are still 2 for $10". They didn't even bother to try to keep a customer happy. Really? Knocking a buck or two off during a big sale event would have made it easier to swallow. Looks like time to explore the dozens of pipe shops in St John's.

The glass here is of great design. I've gotten most of my best pieces here. Their cigarette prices are also some of the lowest in the city. Staff is incredibly friendly. My only discrepancy with here is that the glass can break rather easily if you're not careful, but that's not really the stores fault.

I don't know alot about the stuff I went to purchase the clerk was helpful and made recommendations and on what I should purchase as I had never tried cbd products before or marijuana prior. Only reason in purchasing was for some health reasons. The place I visited prior to this establishment staff were rude as condescending so I walked out and drove by this business I thought to give them a try and pleased that I did. Thank you!

Dean and Adam working there are great. Pleasant helpful and patient even though I showed up all stressed from work. I have been to other shops before where they don't want to take the time to let you find something that works for you. That was not the case at House of pipes, they weren't annoyed by my many questions and changes of decision. They were very nice and even hooked me up with a different bottle that was larger for a lower price because I drip a lot when I realized I needed more juice than 30ml, and they added another bottle to make up for the price difference instead of saying shut out of luck. I'm dripping their house of pipes brand pixie dust right now and it is pretty dang good.

Don't waste your time at other smoke shops in Portland. Best products, best prices, awesome staff. Stop by and check out the amazing glass work of local artists, and you'll even be able to test out the water pipes if requested (with just water, that is). Very high standard of customer service and a laid-back, friendly atmosphere. I'll be returning for the good vibes and excellent pieces.

Friendly employee's that we're really helpful. I purchased some Kratom and a new coil for my vape. The Kratom was above average, enough so that I am going to try some of their other varieties. Prices were reasonable and I appreciate the later hours.

Good little smoke shop that's a tad pricey but is as packed full as it can be for it's size. Smokes, roll your owns, vapes, pipes, water pipes, oil pipes, tons of lighters and torches and "whip it's"! If "whip it's" are your thing but not for me lol. Point is this place has a selection and the staff is for the most part knowledgeable but at times cranky and not to personable and that is why I didn't give out the fifth star. You guys may have to deal with a$$holes all day but that doesn't mean you have to be grumpy cranky zombies when your good regular customers pay that store damn good money.

They have a fairly good selection of mods and they know how they work and what will work for you. They also have a collection of smoking apparatuses for the 'other' type of smoking. As well as cigarettes, different flavored swishers. Prices are decently average.

Great location and impressive selection for such a limited space!! At first glance it's not much but upon entry its another story wall to wall packed with ejuice, cigarillo wraps, and all the glass you could need. The staff was also super knowledgable and friendly i got the wrong sized attatchment and they swapped it for the correct one right away and with a smile to boot!! Will most Definatley be shopping here again!!

At first I thought these guys ripped me off, I couldnt get the vape they sold me to work and once I read "NO RETURNS NO EXCHANGES" on their receipt, and they wouldn't answer calls I figured it meant they literally just sell you garbage then give you the finger once you complain. Turns out you gotta hit the power button 5 times fast to turn it on... Still wish they'd have just answered their phone. Also not liking the no returns policy. But the vape does work...

This place has a great selection of Vape supplies. and an even better selection of glassware . scales, baggies, e-nails ,kratom . the only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because a lot of the stuff is simply overpriced if you were looking for bong or a torch anything that is not likely to last forever you're better off and downloading an app called dhgate ordering stuff from China I believe that's what they do anyways.

I'm a loyal customer of HOP!!! Since stumbling upon them last year I go out of my way to only buy my Djarum's from them which sell for $5.40. In the 10 years I've been looking I've never found a pack sell for less than $7.00 anywhere on the west coast. I can only assume they aren't taking much of a profit.
