Went in looking for a birthday present for a good friend who smokes cigars. Tobacco Grove is quite the spot. A cozy spot with oversized chairs, TV's and plenty of cigars to choose from whether you're a novice or expert. Great place to hang out with friends, watch Sunday football or just sit back and relax with your favorite cigar. The staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable.

My first trip to tabacco Grove was on my 18th birthday, I was educated on the proper use of a pipe, and walked out with black Cavendish, and a hand full of cigars. This place set the bar so high that I can't go to any other tobacco shop in this area. The atmosphere is great and the owner knows his stuff, and the place is always professional. Just don't ask for cigarettes.. :)

Cole gave me some excellent advice, if you find something rare don’t wait and sit on it for month, enjoy it before it’s gone. He sold me a Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario 2018 for my vacation up to tofte MN. I just happened to sit down to enjoy that cigar with a pairing of Johnny walker double black, when the northern lights began to flicker after lighting my cigar! What an awesome experience and I couldn’t have dreamed to have a better experience for my first viewing of the northern lights. I live four hours away and it's worth the trip every time! Multiple lounges to sit and enjoy one of your favorites. They have a great selection of cigars, pipes, lighters, humidors and accessories. The staff is great! Very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to help. I am still impressed they remembered me and recalled the conversation we had on my first visit. Kole helped me spend my cash. He was very helpful and provided a guided tour of the place my first visit. I left with many favorites and many I'm sure I'll enjoy when the time comes. I love this place, very nice selection in the well kept walk in humidor. Cigars have always been fresh and tasty. The lounge is very comfortable, lots of seating. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. It's a great pace to hang with a large group of friends, yet intimate enough to have a good conversion with a friend. Whenever I'm in town from Missouri, I stop by. Wish we had a shop like this where I live.

Very very good cigar shop/lounge. HUGE selection from high end sticks to budget sticks. They have an awesome lounge with comfy seating and big screen TVs. The staff is very welcoming and knows their customers by name and greet you with a handshake! If you’re in the area definitely check it out!

Let's get this out of the way first: this is NOT a headshop. You won't find bongs or vape pens or even cigarettes. This upscale establishment sells cigars and pipe tobacco and related accoutrements. Tobacco Grove has been around for over 20 years - quite a long time in this high-turnover area. To make it that long you know they're doing something right. They are, and more than one thing right. First and foremost they have an absolutely first-rate staff. Extremely knowledgable and patient, they took their time with me when I didn't know a Macanudo from a macaroon. Their humidor is the largest in Minnesota (according to their website). Having been to many local cigar shops I can say that it's the largest I've seen - and the most humid. The selection of cigars is beyond compare. They have several comfortable lounge areas where you can relax and enjoy your cigar, as long as you buy it there first. You'll often see people playing cribbage or chatting in a group or just kicking back with their phone and a stogie. They sell memberships which include a large, locking humidor (nice if you don't want all that fuss). I can't recommend this place more highly!

This place is heaven on Earth. The environment and the people are fantastic! All of the employees are very knowledgeable and very friendly. You can sit in here for an hour or stay all day. The choice of cigars is incredible and they are all stores in a walk in humidor. Whether you are a seasoned smoker or are just getting into this place is the best in the state!

A very fine shop with friendly staff. They are very knowledgeable in Pipes and Cigars and answer any question. They have a very nice humidor, and a nice selection of pipes and pipe tobacco. There lounge is very comfortable. My pipe club has meet here several times and the staff has always been very welcoming.

My brother and I called in to ask if they had some Roma craft cigars on hand. They said they did and even volunteered to stay 10-15 minutes after closing to give us time to pick the sticks up. What customer service! I’ve smoked in the lounge twice before and it’s spacious, comfy seating, and the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend this lounge.

Love this shop - staff is insanely friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. Lots of seating and TVs, cheap non-alcoholic beverages, and just an all-around fun hangout for me and my cigar-smoking friends. The facility is also well-kept, clean, and the ventilation system is pretty darn good, considering the number of people who are usually in there smoking. If you're looking for a local cigar/pipe tobacco/accessories shop - this is your place!

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting their shop. Being a new comer to the Cigar Industry I was pleasantly surprised by how kinda and helpful everyone there was. I met the owner and he went out of his was to show my friend and I some cigars in our price point. He also spent time to educate us and teach us on proper storage methods which is huge when buying in bulk. Although they have high end products, there is also a good amount for the regular/low end smoker like myself. If you need help or advice or looking for a REALLY good cigar selection, please visit them. Thanks guys!

If you smoke cigars and are in the Minneapolis area this is a must stop. They have a great selection. This is not your grandfathers dinghy old cigar shop. They have big screen TV in different lounge areas comfortable leather chair and the most helpful and knowledgeable staffs (except for Paul) you could ask for. So if you looking for a great place to have a smoke and relax for awhile stop in and enjoy, you will enjoy the experience.

I'm incredibly new to smoking cigars. So when I went into the massive humidor at the store, it was quite overwhelming. One of the staff found us wandering around and asked if we needed any help. I described generally what I was looking for (a mild to medium strength cigar with plenty of flavor) and he walked us through the various brands that he enjoyed in that strength. He was incredibly knowledgeable about anything and everything cigar related. We walked out with a fist full of excellent cigars at a reasonable price and we're sure to be back soon, especially during the cold season in Minnesota. We didn't try out the lounge, but the chairs and environment looked incredibly welcoming.

TG is not only the best cigar lounge in Minnesota, it's one of the best cigar lounges in the country. The humidor is enormous. The seatings areas are plentiful, well-ventilated (most of the time), and non-exclusive. The staff is both friendly and knowledgeable. Visitors are as welcome as the most frequent regulars. So come in, select a premium stick, relax in one of the many comfy chairs (or sit at the "Table of Knowledge"), and enjoy a relaxing time while making a new friend or two. PLEASE NOTE: they do not sell cigarettes or vape, only premium cigars and pipe tobacco (and related accessories).

The guys that work here know how to make you feel welcome, they always remember you and even seem to remember your conversations. I walk in and get asked follow up questions about a conversation from two months ago. The only thing I would change is the location so I could go here more often. This is the best tobacco shop in town and it isn't even close.
