Update! I now frequent this shop. The key to it is acting like you know what you’re doing. Don’t ask questions or bother anyone, basically be invisible. The place is fairly chill. Sports or news playing while the regulars chat. Really good selection.

The people behind the creation of this place have been in the tobacco business a very long time. Places with names like Sutter's, Golden Leaf, to name a couple of tobacco stores that no longer exist, but the surviving employees of, can still be found operating this fine establishment. If your a smoker, pipe, cigar, or those Insidious cigarettes, this is one of the last places where you can go and not feel like you're participating in some form of socially destroying Behavior. Yeah smoking is not good for you, don't start. But if you have, you are a smoker, you're a work in progress, comfortable with being flawed, or imperfect. You will find this to be a wonderful place. If they don't have it you probably shouldn't smoke it. ( well there's one thing you could smoke that they can't sell yet) anyways who am I to judge? Sports politics weather Arts science music or any other eclectic topic you can think of, that could potentially make the smoking of a cigar more pleasant, or more social are entirely accepted in more than four separate Lounge areas in which to smoke and socialize. Whenever I come up town even though this place is not inexpensive, I always find a reason to stop in, get a whiff of the place, because to a smoker, this place smells like a candy store. Yes they have a nice hot cup of coffee for their patrons. Sometimes you need that cup, to make everything work out just fine. Come in, buy your item of personal choice, clip it, grab a cup of coffee, find a seat, and take a few moments to get philosophical.

As a cigar smoker I am always looking for a great spot where I can stop and smoke a cigar and have a good convo. Anthony's was well stocked with every cigar you can name and they were all kept fresh in a nice huge humidor. The interior is set up nice with lots of comfortable places to sit some set up in a round format others a place to work at a table alone. They do provide wifi and have a place to put suit coats to keep the smoke off them. I suggest you pop by and check the place out.

Great selection of cigars, nice and helpful staff. But good God will someone please show them what a bottle of windex, pledge, duster, and a mop and bucket are? Plenty of staff available every day and the shop is filthy.

Same location, same staff, same products as the original Golden Leaf. If you were a fan, definitely visit. Having easy access to Ybor, we're now very spoiled. However, if you are in Minneapolis, this is your cigar sudo bar option. My understanding is there is a really good cigar lounge in St Paul, but we've not visited.

I am from Denver and I was in town and looking for a cigar shop. I walked in and was greeted by an extremely friendly person named Rob. I asked him for suggestions and he asked me if I like mild or medium cigars. I was not sure but told him some of the cigars I tend to like. He immediately had some great ideas and told me why I would like the cigars he was suggesting. This guy was incredibly knowledgeable and you could tell he loves what he does. Fast forward a few days later and I have to tell you that his recommendations were out of this world. I have never tried any of the three recommendations, but now I will be buying all three in bulk. The place inside is gorgeous and when I get back in town again I will definitely be stopping by and spending more time there. Thanks Rob for such a great experience!

This place is great!! The environment is really cool and the number of cigars to pick from is amazing. I cannot find half of these cigars in other B&M stores and then to be able to sit down in the warm, comfortable chairs/couches and enjoy the smoke, is icing on the cake.

Anthony's Pipe and Cigar Lounge is a wonderful spot in the middle of Minneapolis. It's got an amazing selection of cigars and tobacco to chose from. I love to stay in the lounge and socially distance myself from the few other patrons and enjoy a fine cigar. The decor, furniture and seating is comfortable and welcoming. A great place to spend some time and get away for a little while. Update to include great entertainment options too. The ball game was on and I had a cigar to go along with the game. Wonderful!

Great selection and perfect atmosphere. This is my new place to enjoy a cigar. Very fair policy of "Smoke it here buy it here", so yeah it's a little more spendy than online (where you don't have as much overhead and Minneapolis local tax) but the couple of extra bucks a stick is well worth the experience of sitting in a comfortable leather chair surrounded by others who share and appreciate your vice.

Very relaxing atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful. Walk-in humidor well stocked with great brands, lots of couches and other seating. I just finished participating in a self-organized four person cribbage tournament there with friends and we couldn't have picked a better place!

Comfortable lounge. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Well maintenaned humidor and great cigar selection. Not a lot of tinned tobaccos but a wide selection of bulk pipe tobacco. Overall a very good shop, I will be going back the next time I'm in town.

I travel all over the US for work and generally use the local cigar lounges as my office to catch up on emails and other work and this is one of the nicer places I've had the pleasure to visit. A great selection of cigars and enough seating for everyone. I found my new spot in the twin cities!

Staff are helpful and friendly, they always have a game on the TVs and a nice spot to sit down. I have had nothing but good experiences here and will keep coming to do some homework or enjoy a book. I can't complain about the slightly higher prices because the lounge has such a nice vibe, the staff is helpful, and everything is always kept clean.

Good selection of cigars, friendly staff and comfortable seating. During Minnesota sports games seating can get a little sparse, but usually hasn't been a problem. The parking lot for this place sucks, you'll definitely want to park either on Lake street or one of the side streets nearby and walk over. One bad thing is they close at 10pm on Friday and Saturday, imo midnight would be better!

Considering the tough taxes you'll have to pay in Minneapolis for tobacco helps one realize this is a good joint. I'm not likely the typical cigar smoker, but they like my money, and I like their cigars. It's a match made in heaven when the urge hits.
