Came in the first time to buy their house blends of pipe tobacco. A true tobacconist! Came back a second time for more! Came a third time with friends to enjoy their lounge areas. Very comfortable an homey. We had an excellent time conversing and smoking with our friends and fellow patrons. My one good friend had a brand new pipe crack, and Jeff replaced it no questions asked. Will be back in the future!

Was in Milwaukee for a wedding over the weekend and decided to pick up a few cigars to celebrate the occasion. Scott greeted me the second I walked in and was super friendly and knowledgeable and helped me pick out a couple cigars to try and share. Service was exceptional and if you’re in Milwaukee this is the place to go.

Hands down the best cigar and pipe smokeshop in the Milwaukee area. Very knowledgeable staff who take pride in their work and recommendations. No vaping, CBD, or glass pipe products lets them focus on their core business; cigars and traditional tobacco pipes. Limited lounge seating, but always friendly patrons who are more than happy to chat. Great selection of cigars and equally a great selection of in-house blended pipe tobaccos. No drinks served at the business, but there is a back door that connects to the adjacent bar that serves fantastic cocktails which you may bring into the smokeshop.

If you enjoy a good pipe and good cigars, you gotta check this place out. 1) Huge selection of fine cigars and pipe tobaccos 2) They make their own pipe tobacco mixes, and you can try out a bowl full for only 25 cents 3) wide selection of beautiful hand crafted pipes. If you don't even enjoy tobacco but love fine woodworking, you should visit this place 4) Folks there are cool and generous. They dont "hover" but they are up for conversation. We did some trading of pipes and pipe tobaccos. It was a good time *Extra: Try their "hunt club" pipe tobacco mix. I've tried about 30 different pipe tobaccos so far, and this one has been my absolute favorite. Will definitely be getting some more from them again

In town with my wife while she is attending a conference. Found Uhle Tobacco Company online and took a chance. Exactly what the doctor ordered! Great selection of sticks. Staff is cool as hell. Quiet, peaceful ambiance. Had the pleasure of chatting with a few local regulars. The owner came out and chatted just like one of the guys. Feels just like hanging out at home or in the garage. I don’t know if I’ll ever be back in Milwaukee, but I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to relax for a few hours.

Hours online said they are open till 10pm on Friday. Drove here from across town to have them close the door as I walked up to it at 8:00pm. They said sorry we are closed. I explained about the hours online, and pleaded for the bag of tobacco I just drove 20 plus minutes for. They didn't give me a coupon or any customer service! It was a terrible experience, but they still have the best tobacco around...so it is what it is. Update: my next visit (and previous visits) were much more pleasant. I highly recommend talking to Scott or the older gent who has been there for years and years. I got the customer service and conversation I expected and tried yet another fantastic non-aromatic that these folks have mastered. If you enjoy a nice and relaxing, rich full-bodied smoke, try out Blend 114 or my other favorite: Bishop's Move. Also, thank you Uhle's for updating the hours, that will definitely help others from finding themselves feeling cross from being in my above situation.

This very old cigar lounge has a great selection of really good cigars and pipe tobacco at very reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and can help you decide on what you would like to smoke. The lounge itself is cozy and a great place to either sit quietly by yourself or engage in friendly conversation with others who have come in. Highly recommended.

They have an unbelievable selection of great Cigars , and the employees are very knowledgeable of the product and will select the perfect cigar you are looking for your taste. Jeff the owner is so nice and easy to approach and talk with, and has great stories to tell. Jeff and his employees have done a great job of carrying on the history and tradition of Mr. John H. Uhle. Their lounge and shop is very comfortable with private rooms to enjoy your Cigar or pipe of your choice. Or you can hangout in the front open shop and talk with the patrons and watch your sports on the t.v.'s. It is truly a friendly atmosphere and we were honored to be invited in.

My only regret with Uhle's is that I don't get there enough (living in Madison). Over the years, I have spent many wonderful hours puffing on a cigar or a pipe in their delightful, cozy lounge. Went there with 11 guys for a pregame to our bachelor party on a Friday night- everything exceeded my expectations. Had a brief phone call ahead of time with Andy- he was very welcoming and offered us the private lounge in the basement (plenty of seating/aux cord for your own music) that set the perfect tone for our night, especially because they allow BYOB. Uhle's was very accommodating to the novice cigar smoker and extremely knowledgeable for those in our group who dabble quite a bit. Highly recommended spot to start a night with a group of guys, the vibes in this place are top notch.

Uhle's tobacco shop is THE BEST Brick and Mortar/online company! I ordered a few blends online and within a few days I received the order. I opened the box, but, I was shorted a few blends. I called and talked to Scott, (I believe that was his name) He took down my information and said that they would send out the rest of my order immediately. Today, I received not only one package, but two packages. I opened them and realized that 2 different people had sent my remaining blends. Since I did not pay for the double order, I called and let the guys know that I had received double what I was due, and since I didn't pay for the tobacco I wanted to return it to them. After a few minutes on hold, Scott told me to keep ALL of the tobacco. WOW! What amazing customer service. In a time in which it seems customer service has been pushed to the sideline, these guys are TOP NOTCH!!! You are the best! Thank you Scott, Dave and Jeff and the rest of the Uhle's crew!

It’s a shop selling tobacco. So let’s not bring up cancer, getting cancer, people you know who died of cancer. Now that being said- it’s pretty fantastic. They blend their own pipe tobacco and it’s amazing. Pipe selection on hand is impressive and a decent variety (Peterson p lips for the win!). Cigar selection is huge also and the staff (albeit trendy) are always friendly and not invasive (that’s a good thing).

I stopped in for my second visit tonight and the staff and customer were terrific, knowledgeable and gave opinions on a new cigar when asked, if you find a pipe that fits and feels comfortable in your hand, buy it as long as you can because you will regret letting a perfect feeling pipe slip through your fingers, I let one go on my first visit and on my second it was gone, so take the plunge if it feels great in your hand because a comfortable pipe is a pipe you will use and love.
