You can believe all the good reviews! The employees at this shop are always courteous and knowledgeable. My last visit before coming in the shop i had cut my hand pretty bad and when paying for my stuff the employee noticed and offered me a band aid. The 2 people working searched high and low but couldnt find one but they tried! In addition to the usual good customer service, that day I felt like they care about the guests and we aren't just a dollar sign. Thank you!

Friendly and helpful staff, for sure. Only drawback is the upstairs location which being as it's an old building does not have an elevator. No problem for me and I get the feeling that should someone who is unable to use the stairs, these clerks would gladly come down and help you obtain what you needed. During the shutdown, I was in need of one of their products and the owner offered to have the product delivered to me via uber for a fee which was a fantastic solution to these troubling times and limitations for business owners, he also offered to meet me in a public setting to pick it up directly at no additional charge, so I gladly took him up on that offer. He went out of his way to accommodate my buying experience and for that I am extremely grateful. There are many location and shops out there for the products I was looking for, but as far as my purchasing needs going forward, it will be reserved for the Hawaiian Holy Smokes company. A local company that goes beyond the call to make your shopping experience a pleasant, easy and successful endeavor.

My first visit here I met an old man from hell working behind the counter. Once ALL of the other employees found out about my horrifying experience ( with this old customer service person), they made sure each and every other visit was truly magical. I want to thank the King Street employees for helping me feel important, special and appreciated. Each and everyone of them, through many visits, apologized for the old man's bad attitude and made it up to me over and over. I would be proud to call any one of you this old Nana's favorite grand child. I am proud to know all of you and want to tell your boss you all deserve a raise and that the whole community should take advantage of the wonderful fact that your business is there for us.

I saw a few bad reviews, so I wanted to post a response... I've been a loyal customer for a little over a year. Thumbs up to these guys. Cool staff, and def no attitude that I've seen. They are quick to help, and offer up objective opinions on the good selection of products they sell...some that you won't find elsewhere except on line. I've been to the Kaimuki, King st, and Kaneohe shops. The staff is real friendly, and I've gotten to know some of them on a first name basis. When I've called to ask about product availability or store hours, someone always picks up the phone. Their only down side that I can see might be parking availability at certain times, and it would be nice if they had a wider selection of kratom products and priced better. All in all though, great shop IMO.

In addition to glass, vapes and the usual products that you would expect in a smoke shop, this store has a line of culturally relevant tee shirts. Overall, the product line is adequate, although other shops may offer more variety. What sets Holy Smokes apart is the knowledge, friendliness and good humor of the staff. They use and enjoy what they sell and seem genuinely happy to be working there.
