Patched it up and was I back on the road within 5 min or less. Will truly recommend if you’re in the area.

I caught a flat while in Harlem and immediately I searched for a tire shop. As soon as I pulled up to Primo I was greeted by Adonis with such a friendly smile and AMAZING energy!! He took great care of my cracked rim which was the cause of my low air pressure. Once it came time to pay I was greeting by another friendly gentleman, Xavier! This was by far one of the most pleasant and seamless services I’ve received. Would definitely recommend these guys!!!

What else can I say. My brother in law hit a nasty pot hole down the block, huge gash in the tire, air hissing out and everything. We walked over, they told us to pull the car up and they replaced our tire immediately. The entire process was less than 10 minutes! We asked to use the bathroom and by the time we came out we were ready to go. $45 tire, can’t beat it and saved us a huge headache.

Stopped by for a leaking tire. Was shown that glass had damaged the corner of the sidewall and could not be patched. Shop was clean , well lit and most importantly open until 8pm. Bought a used tire for $55 out the door. 4 stars since the don't carry michelin pilot sport a/s 3. Was also not able to keep my old tire but this may have been due to a language barrier. I'll come back if I need another tire patched.

I went there today because I had a flat and it was due to problems with my rim. The gentleman I spoke to was very fair took me in right away and got it fixed it cost me about $70 cash but with the service and the time it was a fair price and am pretty happy. It’s a family owned business and they put pride in their work. They dont seem they are looking to rip people off because I know that’s a concern with many mechanics in the city, I know this because I asked him how are my other tires, do you think I need new ones? The owner took a look and he was honest he said no they look great that’s how I knew this guy was an honest man. Customer service is the backbone of a good business and these guys understand what’s important taking care of the customer taking care of the vehicle with pride. I hundred percent recommend these guys for any tire troubles especially a flat and when you’re in a hurry.

I was driving my car away from my apartment and I thought that something was wrong with one of the tires. I completely forgot how to check my own tire pressure and went on a hunt for someone who could help me. I was on my way to visit my grandmother in a nursing home so I didn’t want to get on the highway and risk getting a flat tire. Xavier was kind enough to check all my tires to make sure they were OK in the middle of another project he was working on. He was so kind and helpful, and I intend on getting my tires replaced with this shop when the time comes.

These guys were great. I had a slow leak. They took off the tire, found a nail in it and plugged it, charged a very reasonable price, and I was off. Had to wait a few minutes in line behind two other cars on a Sunday at about noon, but the work took only about 10 minutes.

Got my tires changed from Primo. Great, quick service, and Xavier was very helpful with choosing tires. Would highly recommend I purchased entry-level Chinese tires for a older Honda Civic. Including labor cost, the tires ended up costing me ~30% more than what I would’ve paid on Amazon/ bigger retailer. The price differential makes me give four stars instead of five.

I needed a hard to find tire from a specific manufacturer to match my other tires. Primo not only had the size in stock but also a variety of brands at about 20% of the price of a new tire. And since my other tires were used I went with it! The tire had lots of tread and I was in and out in less than 15 mins. A great find!

GREAT PLACE I needed two new tires which they didn't have in stock. I knew I could get them from an inexpensive site online but wanted to make sure they didn't feel offended by me showing up with tires for them to put on. I asked and they were totally fine with it- I was back 2 days later with the new tires. No wait, they took the old ones off, new ones on, cost less than fifty bucks and within 20 minutes I was out of the door. Very friendly staff, efficient and everything seems fine with the tires. I live about 50 miles away of this shop, unfortunately I got a flat in this neighborhood and I can't explain you how it feels when you don't know anybody here and you're tired from a day work, and when you come in to this shop and you get 2 big smiles from the owners, they are just amazing!!!!! El Primo Tire Shop has excellent customer service. I called today, because my tire was flat on Saturday and I needed to either have my tire repaired or replaced. My tire was damaged and I needed a new one. I drove from New Jersey to Staten Island, New York and then to El Primo Tire Shop in Harlem, New York after speaking with Xavier. My new tire and original rim was replaced within 10 minutes at a good price. Thank you El Primo, I recommend using this company if you have any tire issues.

Thank God for Xavier and El Primo Tire Shop! After I hit a pot hole on the Harlem River Drive/approach to the FDR and blew out a tire, Michael from Universe Towing brought me over to El Primo to help me out. Not only was Xavier a straight forward guy, but he took care of my flat immediately. Price was fair and accurate (I had just replaced a tire about 2 months prior) and he checked my other tires for damage/correct air pressure. What a great, great guy! I know if I need any additional replacement tires in the future, I'm specifically travelling to St. Nicholas Avenue because great customer service like this hard to find. Thank you again Xavier!

I've been to this tire shop a couple times the several years I've lived in the heights. They are excellent. Quick service, great prices, and friendly service. This morning I had to take my car to them because I had a flat tire. I decided to replace all four tires with these guys because they have been the best price I've found in the city so far. I have been price checking replacing my tires the past few weeks because they are due for a change. I've gotten quotes from 6 tire shops in Queens, The Bronx, and Manhattan. These guys have the best prices and exceptional customer servive. Case in point they only accept cash and I had to go back to my apartment and get my card so that I could get cash to pay the shop. One of the tire shop employees let me use their bicycle to ride back home to get my card since I lived five blocks away from the shop. You got tire issues in the city. These are the folks to go to. Excellent tire shop. Top notch customer service.

Excellent tire shop, guys that work here are 100% completly honest and give you numerous different options in regurds to fix your flat. They will test your tire in front of you so you can see the problem and then you choose if you want to plug, patch, used or new tire. There prices are very good too. Clutch! Caught a flat tire the night before. Put on a donut for the night and stopped at El Primo first thing in the morning. They open at 7 AM, and no exaggeration by 7:20AM I was driving away with a fixed rim and a good used tire for a very reasonable price. Recommended to anyone in the area. Great service.
