The best and most professional used tire shop in the city. He even price matches on new tires. Still the number 1 used tire shop. Most used tire shop's are dirty and have nowhere clean to sit and wait but not MLK Tire. They even do specialty rims and tires.

Recently I had to replace one of my tires and I went to ML King Tire, I’ve gone here before and I know that they have quality service. My tire was replaced and a few hours later I had an issue with the replacement but it was after store hours. I returned the next business with receipt and the issue was resolved no questions asked. I was prepared to go to war but the owner Marlon took good care of me.

I was working in the area that day and needed a couple of used tires so I went here. Decent prices and the young men that changed my front tires had me in and out and under 10 minutes. I live out in the country but prefer some of my wages made in a neighborhood stay in that neighborhood. All in all a good day.

The owner is very polite and professional. His workers are respectful & know their job and try to move as quick as they can to get you in and out of there. It is a very small lobby with a vending machine & only about 4 chairs so keep that in mind. Even though the neighborhood has high crime, this business has stood there for years and he has the respect from the community. I have an Escalade and I have only bought my tires from here. My tires were used but looked almost new with so much tread life left. I will continue to patronize this business.

We had a flat tire late Saturday evening and realized our spare had a slow leak. Went to them early on a Sunday morning and the gentleman at the front desk was super helpful and polite. We got 2 front tires for less than $200(where other places quoted us for 1) and the wait took less than 15 minutes. Everyone was so personable, no one was rude or had an attitude like we expected being open early on a Sunday. Amazing customer service overall, love this place!

Ok I have visit this store three times. Black own and operated by black men. Let me tell you I was so surprise of the service I received the first time and I thought well they were just having a good day so I return again when I need service and that same professional attitude still flowing. I was taken aback by the customer service I received. So today being my third visit I needed to purchase a new tire, now understand that I called around and got a cheaper price for the tire I needed but I chose this store because of the Great Customer Service they give. MLK TIRES IS A BLESSING. I brought my daughters car there to check the tire pressure and found that she had been driving back and forth to school on dangerously damaged front tires. These guys were very friendly! They replaced a torn tire for me while I was headed across country. Be aware, though, that they only accept returns within 7 days.... I was already several hours out of town by the time I realized they had accidentally installed a tire with a hole in it. I had to have it replaced again at a Walmart on the road. They were apologetic about it when I called to let them know about it and offered to replace it, but only if I could come back, which I couldn't. They did say they would make it right if I ever came through Saint Louis again.

I've been here twice, because every time I turn around I have a frickin nail or screw in my tire because of the crap all over the streets in the city where they are doing construction 24/7, 365 days a year. That being said, ML King Tire is great. They are VERY quick, nothing like Dobbs where you have to wait 10 hours just to get a flat tire fixed. Hopefully I wont have another flat, but if I do, I'll go back here again.
