I really like Dobbs. They check your tire pressure without charge when I pull in with my tire sensor on. Always friendly, respectful and professional. I just bought 4 tires from them because they price matched a competitor. Tony and Connor were wonderful to work with. I'll stick with Dobbs, they make me feel safe on road and safe as a customer being treated with integrity.

This place is great. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable, there’s never any pressure to repair things in a more expensive way, and the work is always top notch. Recent example: I came in with a flat tire and requested a new tire. They told me “the spare you have is a normal tire, you could just use that and not buy anything”. After discussion I decided to get some new tires, they applied a few coupons, and I was floored at how affordable it was.

We’ve been going to Dobbs for several years and they’ve always treated us respectfully, honestly and fairly. Because of this we always recommend Dobb’s South County to our friends and family. ****** I like having my cars maintained and repaired at Dobb’s South County. The manager and front counter staff are always friendly and helpful. Spoke to Tony on the phone to set a time for an oil change. He was very professional and willing to find a solution for my own scheduling conflict by offering me a ride home when I drop my vehicle off. He also explained that the oil change would also come with a complimentary inspection. I usually work on my own vehicles and I am not as thorough when looking them over. Come the day of my appointment I was not able to drop off during business hours so I wasn't able to take him up on the free ride. Even though the plan had a slight change Tony was able to still accommodate me. I received a call shortly after noon and was told my vehicle was complete. He had noticed my tires were in need of a rotation and had it done for me. Upon picking up my vehicle late in the afternoon I was able to meet Tony. He explained that the complimentary inspection did not find any issues other than the tires needing a rotation. Very polite, professional and honest service here. 👏

I got a flat tire driving in from out of town. They were fast and inexpensive, which was nice. They didn’t have any good tires for my car in stock that day so I was forced to get get cheap ones that I’ll have to replace. And when they returned my car, the spare tire was not put back. I know it’s a little thing but it matters to me that they didn’t bother with the simple task.

Excellent Service. I called when we were at breakfast and Donny told me that he could get it in and parts if I needed any. He called me back in about 45 minutes and said an animal had built a nest in the blower. They replaced filters and cleaned the system. I picked it up and it was only $148. I was expecting a lot more and it was Awesome to get it fixed dealerships would not get me in for a month. VERY VERY HAPPY with the service. 🙂

Absolutely wonderful experience here! My husband and I were traveling through icy and freezing conditions for a military move and incurred some damage to our vehicle. They immediately took our vehicle in and gave us a warmly place to hang out with our dogs while they tended to the problems. The staff was SO kind, attentive, and quick to get our family back on the road. Very veteran friendly. You are making an excellent choice by giving them your business.

I ordered a wheel and tire package from an online retailer. During shipment the wheel weights fell off. I contacted this specific Dobbs location because I have used them before. As always they were super friendly, got me in and got me out quickly. They even painted the weights to match the color of the wheels for me and didn’t have to. This morning I lost control of my car on the highway in the pouring rain. I didn't hit the sidewall, or any other cars, but I took my car in to Dobbs to get it checked out afterward to make sure it was still safe to drive. They took a look at it, nothing was wrong, and they didn't charge me for getting it looked at. I am thankful for their help ensuring my future safety.

I needed at least 2 tires on a 6 year old car that has not been driven much recently. Not looking for highest or lowest priced solution. Tony inspected tires right away & recommended 4 new tires since they were all original. We also needed rear brake work. They gave me reasonable pricing & I left car for afternoon. They called 3 hours later & car was ready. Recommended alignment for new tires to wear properly. We picked car up a few minutes later. It was all done and for less than what I was quoted from another shop. Very easy doing business, I will recommend this location to anyone that needs repair work or tires.

New tires and alignment completed here on a Tuesday. Went to change my brake pads the following Saturday and found a lug nut missing from one wheel. More importantly, when removing the lugs, there was a vast difference in the tightness of each lug- that is to say, it appeared one lug per wheel was actually torqued back on and the rest were put back on too hastily. The extra minute or two to properly torque the lugs and ensure the safety of your customer's vehicle is worth your technician's time vs getting on to the next task. Alignment appears to be in good shape so far- thank you for that.

Fast, efficient and informative. I came in for vehicle emissions so that I could plate my car. The mechanic working my service order came into the lobby to advise me of a rear brake light being out(of which I was aware) and asked if I would like it replaced. He offered a quota for the work, although I declined (wiring issue, a new light will just burn out in a day or so). He politely understood and informed me my car was ready. During payment I was also given the status of my tires, including the wear and tread depth of each tire. I was there maybe 20 minutes? Maybe? Would certainly reccomend based upon this experience.

Always a great experience. They go above and beyond to take care of you. My car was too low to get in the lift so they took the extra time to remove my wheels and teach my tires in the middle of their lot just so I wouldn't have to find another place. They didn't have to go to those lengths but they did it.

Let me just start by saying thank you so much to Dobbs South County! We don't have a regular mechanic (relatively new to St. Louis) and have used Dobbs for tire issues, oil changes, etc. for some time now. Last week our Charger started having issues starting consistently. Took it to Dobbs, they diagnosed the problem quickly and did the repair within a few days. Unfortunately, as soon as we got home the problem started back up! They immediately offered to pay to tow it back to the shop, diagnosed the problem (something had disconnected during the initial repair), and fixed the new issue free of charge within the day! They were so professional and took good care of us! We will definitely go back for repairs in the future!!! Thank you specifically to Zack (spelling?) who dealt with our incessant phone calls for updates and was so professional and helpful!!

I'm not sure what happened with the previous reviews but I've been very satisfied with both the service and the professionalism of the personnel at this location. They've done a good job on both of my vehicles and they've never suggested unneeded repairs. Based on my experience, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any minor repairs (they aren't really equipped for engine overhauls or other major repairs).

I ended up getting a tire alignment here, and when I got home from picking the car up I saw my rear left hubcap wasn’t there. Whether it fell off or got lost at the shop, I called the store and the manager said they would cover the costs of a replacement set. That feeling when they do everything they can for you and end up saving you $200 on a $400 dollar fix. Seriously, first visit (needed new tires and to fix the tie-rods) they couldn't find my specific tire, so upgraded me for free and gave me a free alignment, plus a free warantee on the tires. Took the car in recently for a different issue, was quoted a $400 price. I didn't have a ride home, so they had their shuttle take me to my apartment free of charge (and offer to return me to the store once fixed). They found out they didn't have to do a certain fix because the problem wasn't as bad as they initially thought, so instead of taking me and charging me anyway (I wouldn't know the difference), they saved me the money. If you're near the area and don't have a regular mechanic, gotta recommend this Dobbs. They go out of their way for ya. And if this is them "taking me" and hoodwinking me, it sure is cheap compared to what I was quoted at other shops. Pro job guys!!!

Connor knows my car inside and out. A Mercedes AMG is no small task to handle, and not only has he repeatedly made maintenance on it he’s done all of the minor fixes as well. (Entire brake system, coolant work, and engine work). Dobbs does a great job
