I got a warning light that my left front tire was low on air. I figured it was because of the cold weather but when I stopped the tire was going flat. This was the second flat tire I'd had this month (I swear I have magnetic tires)! After using a can of flat fix, I called several tire shops to see if I could get it repaired. They were all very nice but because of the recent cold weather, the soonest appointment I could get was the following week. One store was booked until the end of January. I called Point S to see if they could put my spare on and I would leave the tired to be repaired. They said sure to bring it on in. When I got there, much to my surprise, they said they could fix it if I could wait for 20 minutes. They did it within 15 minutes and they didn't even charge me! I really appreciate Tyler and Joe because they were so kind to me and did not take advantage of me because I'm female. I'm so glad that I found them. They will be my tire store from now on!

Had to go back here yesterday with a flat front left tire, which they'd serviced three years ago (exact same issue). I still had the Oct. 2019 paperwork. They had me patched and out the door in half an hour, with no charge and no questions asked. And while I was there, I overheard them talking with another customer, giving them VERY helpful information on how to save money and avoid getting scammed on their own car repair issues. It's a pleasure to work with people who are genuinely interested in helping you and not giving you the all-too-typical BS you hear from too many other shops.

I called ahead because I had a flat tire and they got me in in a couple of hours. When I pulled up, I was met by a nice man who asked which tire was giving me a hard time. They had it fixed in less than 5 minutes and when I went inside to pay, they knew the name it was under without me having to say anything and they said they don’t charge for tire repairs. I was there for 5 mins and highly impressed with their customer service. They also had a rainbow sticker on the window that says it’s a safe place and to report hate crimes. Will def go back!

I was on a road trip from San Jose to Seattle. I suddenly saw one tire losing pressure and I searched nearby tire service and went to point S tires. What a professional guys. Even though I don’t have appointment they accept my car to fix. 1 hour later they called and said the car is ready. I went to pick my car and asked how much for fixing flat tire and they said it is free as they don’t charge for flat tires. Excellent job….. I drove back to San Jose and did not face any problem. In these days of high inflation who does the job for free with excellent service. Thanks Point S.

I cannot say enough about Point S (and Sam)! Our daughters and 4 other girls were on their way to Seattle for a Bachelorette weekend when they had a flat tire. The tire was damaged beyond repair, leaving them in need of a new set of tires in order to get home. (Home is 5 hours away) After trying a couple other tire stores that were less than helpful, we were able to work with Sam over the phone, she went out of her way to locate a set of tires, the girls were able to drop the car Friday, pick it up Saturday with minimal interruption to their plans and they were able to return home safely! Not only was Point S affordable, but their customer service is amazing!

I can’t believe how amazing they were. I ripped a hole in my tire and all the Les Schwabs that I called couldn’t get me in until the next day. Joe at Point S said to me “I never like to say no to people.” They didn’t have my tire in stock so they told me if I ran to the Subaru dealership and got a new tire , they’d put it on for me right away. So that’s exactly what I did. Joe put my spare on, I drove and got a new tire and back, and he got me all taken care of. I was expecting such slow service because that’s post-pandemic life. The folks at Point S were so empathetic to my situation and were so awesome. I can’t recommend them enough !

I've had a slow leak because of a nail in my tire....and all the shops I've tried have been booked out for weeks. Anyway I gave Point S them a call yesterday...and they were able to see me today!!! These guys really saved me today. I was in a rush to leave town for a 6 hour drive when my tire pressure sensor came up showing low pressure. A screw had punctured the tire within the tread. I went to a nearby Les Schwab for help and even when I explained the urgency of my situation they still didn't have time for this small repair. Luckily, after a Google search I found Point S and gave them a call. They kindly said they could fit me in right after the current job. When I got there the man at the front desk was kind and professional. Their lead mechanic immediately got my truck pulled in and got to work. He was also extremely kind and very efficient. I was all ready to pay when they finished and they told me no charge. What a great experience to make a stressful moment turn around for the better. I will let my friends know about you guys, you really helped me out today and I appreciate it so much!

Easy to talk to, easy to work with, honest. Sam is amazing. It's difficult to get to unfortunately and the lot fills up fast with cars so try and schedule for a slow day. The pricing is fair, they're not a shop that will try and screw you on the pricing or cut corners. If they make a mistake they will do their best to fix it.

Had a nail in my tire that was preventing it from keeping air pressure. Was told by another mechanic shop that they couldn't plug it. Since this was a relatively new tire with lots of tread life left, I wanted to see if it could be repaired so that I didn't have to purchase another tire. Point S was the closest shop, so scheduled an appointment for a few days later, brought my car in and left the shop with the tire repaired for FREE in under an hour. Friendly and efficient service and would recommend to anyone looking to have a tire repair done by a small local business.

I just moved to Seattle and my breaks were way overdue. I'm always nervous about going to a new mechanic or tire shop. It's a nerve wracking experience for me. This time it was NOT. I was freaked by a polite young man at the desk. They were very busy but he was able to fit me in. I also could see how important customer service was from the get fo. I had a flat tire that I could fill up long enough to get to a repair shop. Called 3 repair shops and only Point S said they could fit me in the next day. Next day comes around and my battery died while I was using a plug in air compressor. Point S said, "no worries, bring it in when you can and we will fit you in." AAA charged the battery and I headed to Point S. They immediately went to work on the tire. 15 minutes later they handed me the keys...and NO CHARGE for doing it! Wow! Thanks!

Joe repaired a tire puncture for me for free; dropped off my tire (I already had swapped it), Joe verified my new tire was on tight enough, educated me that I put my spare tire lug nuts on backwards (oops!), and fixed it within a couple hours. Picked it up seamlessly later in the afternoon, will return!

I had a clanking sound in one of my front tires and was really concerned it was going to require major repair work. David checked it out and told me it was only that the tire nuts were loose. This place was super great after the dealer gave me the runaround. I spoke with Zach on the phone, explained my situation, and they were able to schedule me within three days. The staff at Point S were very kind and personable. After assessing my vehicle the mechanic called me to explain the issue, and patiently explained everything in detail as I’m nowhere near an expert in auto care. When I picked up my car they referenced pictures they’d taken of various parts of my vehicle to show what needed attention and what was okay for now, which I really appreciated. Finally, the price was better than I expected and I’d say definitely competitive. I’ll be returning to Point S for future maintenance!

As far as tire service goes I feel it's a 5 Star all around. Have no doubts here that these guys do really great work whenever I've had tire trouble or needed a good deal on tires. Lincoln is the man! The free tire repair and their time efficiency is a major plus as well- since I've found myself spending more time and $$ going up north at another location. As far as repairs go it has been a little hit and miss with experience. I believe that it depends on which mechanic you work with. Not understanding a ton of car stuff, there were a couple mechanics that I've spoken with about my car that seemed to get fairly impatient with all my questions. That being said there was one individual mechanic on a separate occassion that was so helpful and generally fantastic in specifically giving me the details of my repair. I'm a thorough person, so I very much appreciated his ability to recognize that. I will continue to come here for my vehicle servicing. Also note that this location is tricky to get to unless you are going north bound on 15.

I have been using Affordable Tire for several years and find that they do everything right, every time. They are honest, fare, reasonably priced, always explain everything to me, and have super customer service. The first time I went, I had been told by Firestone that I had two nails in one rear tire that couldn't be fixed and needed to buy two new tires on my BMW for nearly $900. When I called Affordable to look into ordering tires, they told me to bring my car in first to make sure it couldn't be fixed. When I brought it in, they told me it could be fixed, and did it for free. I've been going to them ever since!

Last month (maybe two months ago?) I arrived at this shop with a major concern for my car and safety. They quickly diagnose the problem while also patching leaks in two of my tires. I was on a tight budget and they were genuinely understanding towards my financial limitations. Both the reception staff and mechanics are honest, kind and capable people. Zach and everyone there is pretty awesome. Went there to replace my tpms senors, got th job done well, quickly and for a fair price. What's even more, Zach told me to keep an eye on some of the valve stems since they seemed a bit finicky and if I had any issues with them to bring it back in. Exactly like he said a few weeks out i noticed some issues, called them and they took care of it quickly. Awesome place, I'm def going to be coming back for everything I need for my car!

I can't say enough good things about this place. My coolant light went off, so I swung into this place to see if they could fit me in without an appointment, and they were able to look at the issue on the spot. They identified that there was a leak and fixed the problem on the same day. They also offered to fix a tire pressure sensor for a fraction of the price of what the Porsche dealership quoted me a few months ago, so I took them up on the offer. More importantly, I learned a lot about how this place operated while I was waiting in the lobby. I listened to Sam and her associate answer phone calls and assist other customers, and they clearly had the customer's best interests at heart. They were very professional and clearly communicated what needed to be done to repair the vehicles. One customer was looking for a very specific set of rims and they went online to other vendor websites to try to find the rims for her and showed her the website as well, so she could also see what rims were available. I don't believe this benefited their business at all, but they just wanted to do the right thing and help her out. You'll be hard pressed to find an auto care shop with better service.

I have been twice so far and have yet to be charged a cent. The first time I went in because my tire pressure light was on. They topped off the air for free. Today they fixed a flat tire (I believe it had a nail in it) on the house. Everyone I interacted with on both visits were super polite and helpful. These are by far the best mechanics I've ever dealt with. I'm long overdue on writing a review for these guys because I've been bringing my car here for years. The 1st experience I had with them was when I brought my car in with a flat tire. They ended up fixing it for me free of charge. I've been back several times since and each time I get exceptional customer service. Beyond that, they always make a point to explain in detail what needs to be done and they show me the work afterwards. Recently the brakes on my car gave out in Georgetown. I called them to arrange for a tow but Tony offered to drive the car back for me free of charge, which couldn't have been easy without functional brakes. When they got my car back to the shop they discovered that I had a serious rust problem with my lines (they showed me the rusted lines) and it was going to cost more than I could afford at that time to get it fixed. I told them I'd have to hold off for a few weeks and was fully expecting them to charge me something for their time, but they didn't. I just picked up my car tonight after getting some work done and again, the customer service was excellent. I dealt with Allen Benton & Tyler who were very friendly and helpful. Allen even gave me a coupon to get a free oil change. I'm thrilled to have found these guys after years of being ripped off by mechanics who think because I'm a woman, I'm an easy target. I also appreciate that they don't patronize or try to pressure me into getting work done that they know I can't afford. if you're looking for trustworthy, reasonable, friendly and extremely competent mechanics, I highly recommend Affordable Tire Factory. Point S recently saved us from a huge headache while visiting Seattle. We got a screw in the tire of our rental car, which didn't have a spare tire. Our options were to try and get back to the airport, exchange the car, and pay for a new tire or try to get it fixed or replaced on our own. I started calling tire places as they were listed in Google. 1st place I called said it'd be about 3 hours before they could get us in. 2nd place I called was Point S. They said come on in and they'd take care of us as soon as we arrived. They were easy to find, super friendly staff, and were able to get our tire plugged. We were in and out in less time than a single episode of Friends that was playing in their waiting room. Thank you Point S, you saved us from a huge hassle of trying to get back to the airport on a leaking tire. If we didn't live literally across the country we would certainly buy tires from you in the future. Thank you very much.

I had walked in towards the end of their day, asked for a tire size and they were immediately helping me with a friendly attitude. I had been helped, billed, and driving away with my tire balanced on the wheel all in about 25 minutes. This is with them trying to finish their work for the day and clean up also. They are efficient, friendly, and affordable. Would recommend to anyone.

Stopped by the shop to see about work on my lower control arms. The guys and gal at Point S were courteous, fair, and do good work. I would recommend this shop to anyone out there. Hourly was a bit higher than I expected (keep in mind I'm used to rural shops, so their hourly is very fair for Seattle), but for the quality of work and the speed at which they do it, it is worth every penny. 10/10

Was able to get all 4 tires done in just a few hours, they were even nice enough to do an inspection on my car to see why it was so bouncy on the roads. It turns out the shocks were bad (as we bought it used and were told the shocks were good), they even did a quick break inspection. I would definitely recommend them, as they are right on the D rapid line to, so you can cross the bridge do a little shopping and head right back when your car is finished.

Affordable Tire Factory and Services, has gone above and beyond for me every time I have needed them. Over the past year my car has had it's timing belt snap, front strut break, and alternator go haywire. George Mccann, the Store Manager, has had me in and out of the shop within 24 hours every time and offered to drive me back to my home when I needed a ride (I live 5 minutes from the shop). They have made me a lifetime customer, and I would recommend them to anyone!

My car was making noise and needed an oil change so I decided to stop by this place. I described the noise, though I was primarily there for an oil change. After finishing my oil change, they called and said that they found out the reason behind the noise. They showed me first hand what the problem was. I am glad I did it because my car was in great hands. During the waiting time George was very friendly and told us about local restaurants nearby that we could go. I can tell they take good care of their customers. I recommend these guys to everybody because they are affordable and have great customer service!!

They are the real heroes 70 miles from home tire went flat with a screw a les Schwab was a half mile down the road got there an hour before closing only to be told basically come back tomorrow found a point S 15 minutes away in an out in no time making it home safe ..... Took my punctured tire (purchased on East Coast) in to have the shop remove the foreign object and diagnose the damage. Dreading the inevitable $$$$. But... no problems, no questions, 5" monster bolt removed from tire, patched, replaced, no charge and hardly a wait. Staff very personable. I was stunned. I think that that is just fantastic customer focus. Great, speedy job by staff and thanks to those who nurture this level of service. Took my car in due to big nail in tire, close to the edge so I was worried I’d need to replace all 4. Pep boys told me I’d have to- these guys said it wasn’t necessary. I have been going to this shop for over 6 months, very unhappy with their disinterest in fixing something, with several visits, they managed to fix other things but the original reason I brought it they ended up not being able to help me, so they tell me to go to a dealer. Very frustrated, feel like I was mislead. Communication was not good, they lacked equipment and tools which they should have been honest about from the beginning. Finally the charged way too much for coils and plugs and I got no reasoning behind it. They did fix an oil leak from my oil pan.

I dropped my car off for the front breaks to be replaced. They called me to go over the inspection and informed me of additional issues regarding the breaks. When discussing different financial options they clearly explained the issues, cost and option of having the additional repairs done, or not. When reviewing a quote from Les Shwab they had also discovered the additional issues around the breaks, but did not inform us of these issues and simply quoted us for the complete repair, which was more expensive then Affordable Tires. I ended up getting 2 of the 3 issues fixed, but clearly understood what I paid for, cost, and the consequences (squeaky noise) from not replacing the 3rd issue. as well they were affordable (my breaks work GREAT now). Their professional manner, quality work, clear non demeaning informative way of explaining the issue are all reasons I would go again for service, and recommend them. I am never enthusiastic about auto repair places, but I truly believed they deserved a review for their superior work.

Arrived with no appointment and they tested and swapped out my battery in about an hour. The service was genuine and quick. Good communication and overall solid service. While I was there, A costumer brought the staff cookies out of appreciation. I'll be considering them for future service.

Took car there for alignment after not successfully finding and repairing iasue myseld. About an hour later recieve a phone call saying customer had pulled in and parked in a spot that employee couldnt see and as a result my car was backed into another, cracking taillight and scraping off paint. The situation on the other hand was approched professionally and quickly with no hiccups. Taillight replacement purchased and alignment was no cost. People are human and make miatakes. How those mistakes are handled is what speaks most about people and business alike. I feel it was handled well. I would return.

Cars are not singular items, or singular systems, they are a collection of components and systems that are interwoven. These components and systems are bound by the laws of physics and thermodynamics. As soon as a car is driven off the assembly line, each system and component begins being used/worn/depleted, and each system and component degrades at different rates, for different reasons, at different times. At this very moment, you are probably not considering the copper content of your brake fluid, as a measure of wear, which would indicate your brakes need to be replaced; brake fluid is a non-compressible hydraulic fluid, normal wear introduces dirt, water and copper, which can be (for water, boiled and then) compressed. What does this mean for you? You go to slam on the brakes, and the pedal goes all the way to the floor, your car doesn't stop, because the force of your foot on the pedal is compressing impurities in your brake system instead of the calipers onto the pads and rotors. This is just one example of 1 system of components. There are dozens in your car. Perhaps you might surmise that you need a transmission service or repair because when you hit the accelerator, there is a jolt. But it's far more likely that the jolt is due to a totally worn/broken engine mount, and the engine is literally jolting about in the engine bay. These techs are ASE certified, which means they know all of the components and systems (of their certified discipline). Cars are not organisms- they do not heal- so they have 2 'states', 'new', and in a varying state of 'disrepair'. So as soon as a car rolls off the assembly line, pretty much all of its components and systems are in a state of 'disrepair' just by virtue of their use. This is why most people feel like mechanics are giving them a laundry list of all the things that are wrong with their car, because they are, it's not as if the car is being self-repaired or healing. Fortunately the majority of states of disrepair between 'new' and 'completely broken', largly allows for benign neglect and it is okay for some systems to operate at that level of disrepair (I.e. most transmission fluid has some level of metal shavings in it even after it was serviced). The bottom line is the stuff is rather complicated and it is not as intuitive as you might expect so in receiving a laundry list of items about a car that need to be fixed it's just an expression of the technician being actually versed in the science of mechanics rather than trying to slam you with a bunch of charges. These guys are pros. Trust them.

Recommend people who are looking for a soon reservation, affordable (even free) service and nice service team to this shop I gotta say this is the BEST tire service I ever received from a tire repair shop. My tire was leaking, I called Sam on Wednesday and they have availability on Friday, while pep boys and some other shops only have availability next week. So prob you can expect to make a reservation without waiting too long When I got here this morning, the service team was really welcoming and nice. They said it’s gonna take around 1 hour and they finished it within 30 mins:) AND THEY DIDN’T CHARGE FOR THE TIRE REPAIR, which is really amazing in these days. Will definitely recommend this shop to every single person I know. I give it 10/5 Will definitely coming back:) thanks Sam, you guy really made my day
