Our family was heading out of town when we got a flat tire. We drove back into town and found this shop on Google. Called and asked if they could replace our tire same day. They said yes. My husband drove to the shop and they serviced him right away. They were kind, informative, and provided amazing customer service. After looking over our tire they said it didn’t need replaced and that they could fix it for us for $23. They took care of it quickly and sent my husband on his way. We are so thankful for this business. They are people of integrity. They could have easily said we needed our tires replaced and charged us a lot more, but they didn’t. We strongly recommend them and will point our friends to them when they’re in need. Stop looking, go to their shop. They’re awesome!

I went here a few weeks ago because I was worried about my bent tire hubcap. They ran tests and said my tire was fine but that my brakes were badly in need of getting replaced. Not only were they looking out for that, but they also fixed it on the same day. Apparently the brakes have never been replaced before... (car has been driven for 7 years..) Recently I went to them again because of a hit and run where my side view mirror was knocked off and hanging by a wire. They looked at the damages and recommended an auto body shop for all the repairs but glued my mirror back for free so that I could drive safely in the meantime. Would highly recommend their awesome service and will be coming back!

I am sure most girls can relate that it’s intimidating to go to an auto shop by yourself. But Kells (who works there) instantly recognized the problem and addressed it without making me feel awkward or insecure at all. They’re so honest and forthright I never had to second guess whether or not I was being overcharged. I will go here for any issues I have with my car from here on out because Kells made a stressful situation into a pleasant one and I can’t thank him enough for that. This place is the best.

They don't take appointments, it's first come first served but they were able to repair my tire almost immediately after arriving on a Saturday afternoon! Efficient, good communication, straight forward. Come at 8am for service. I drove up from San Diego, battery died on the way, I also wanted an oil change. Called Express Tires, recommended from a friend, told me to come in the next day at 8am. Dropped the car off at 8am, they called a couple of hours later with the estimates. Car was done by 2pm.

Danny was outstanding. Took a lot of anxiety about camshaft issues and put them to sleep within a day. No nonsense, effective communication, timely answers to questions. I can see why my friend referred me to this place. Incredibly reasonable and very efficient. They just needed our car first thing in the morning, by mid day we had the diagnosis, by end of day we were able to pick it up. We’re a very busy household and having a car unavailable creates many other challenges that were mitigated by the swift service we received. Better believe will be back again and again. Absolutely awesome! Was visiting Seattle for the weekend and got a flat tire right before I was set to leave. They were super and patient and didn't try to upsell me on things I didn't need. They made sure I had enough information to make the best decision for my car even in a high stress situation. They got my car back on the road with a new set of tires in less time than it would have taken for Costco to even LOOK at my car. Amazing service and fair prices! Super efficient service! Got one flat tire and drove to the shop, expecting long wait and tire change. Surprisingly, they took a quick check right after I parked and told me only needed a quick fix. they fixed a hole on the tire and didn't try to upsell anything onto me. The total cost is 17 bucks! Appreciate the friendly and efficient service. Would definitely go back for any tire problems!

Friendly staff and accommodating. Small location that gets a lot of customers – so recommend getting there early. Had two sets of tires mounted and balanced. Brought one set of brand new wheels in to have tires mounted and a couple wheels came back scuffed.

I was looking to install new tires on my Outback in preparation for winter. I got quotes from a few other places, but they were either charging too much or had a long wait. I stopped in at Express Tires and Auto as I was passing by, and they had the right tires in stock and they would be able to mount them same day for MUCH cheaper. Anourath helped me out, and he was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. I let him know that I was planning to replace my brakes myself, and he gave me some valuable advice on the best parts and shops nearby. My car was ready in a few hours, and when I came back they put it back up on the lift to show me some issues with the exhaust and recommend some inexpensive ways to fix it. If you are looking for a friendly, reasonable, and fast shop - this is the one. The customer service was excellent, and they are very trustworthy. I will definitely be going back here for tires and other service from now on.

I love this place. They're kind and helpful, and the prices seem really fair and transparent. Also speedy. They are walk-in only, so you can't reserve a time, but you can also just show up and usually get big repairs done same day which has been amazing. Definitely recommend!

Being new to the area, I needed to get an oil change in my car, and this business popped up in my search. We went in based on others' reviews and were very happy and satisfied with the help and service we received. They took my car as a walk-in, explained the options clearly along with their prices beforehand, and had suitable seating for COVID safety measures. The technician working on my car noticed I have a small/slow oil leak in my newer vehicle. They advised we should take it to the dealership as it's still under warranty to have inspected. I greatly appreciated that they pointed that out to us and told us exactly what we should do. Throughout our time there, all staff was friendly, personable, and helpful. I'd even say they went above and beyond my expectations. We will definitely go back when we need their services again. I highly recommend Express Tires and Auto Services to anyone else needing an oil change or new tires/tire repair. This experience was way more friendly than any I've received at a run-of-the-mill chain oil change or auto repair shop.

Got quotes from many places and they’re pricing if fair. They were very friendly, in a down-to-earth, talking to a friend or family member kind of way. They checked in and even sent me pictures of my car brakes before changing them. I got brakes, rotors, and and oil change and they were very accurate in how long it would take to get it done. There was no surprises, they didn’t try to up charge me or tell me a bunch of things were wrong with my car. It was a quick and easy process. I have no complaints from my experience. I heard about them from my sister that also had a good experience with them. I will definitely go back to them for other services or when it comes time for the same services I had done this time.

Professional, friendly, and actively tried to save me money! Sunday, had a flat, called in, and they said they were open and it would cost $20 for a tire change + $77 for a tire. When I got there, they just took a look at the screw in my tire, pulled it out, patched up the tire, and charged me $16. I asked about replacing the tire, but they said they could do it, but told me the tire repair should be good. So I saved $80 and drove off with a fixed tire. People there didn't treat me like I didn't know anything about cars, and were very patient. Highly recommended!

This is a great place to go for tire repairs or replacements. Professional, good value, and relatively quick with tire repairs or replacements, like 1 or 2 hours, when in some other garages, you may have to wait half or all day. They live up to their name "Express." My first tire couldn't be saved after it started leaking. They took the time to explain my options and costs, rather than try to sell me the most expensive tire right away. Two and half years later, a leak in that same tire sent me back there. There was a nail in the tread, but it could be repaired. Because I bought this particular tire from them, it had a life time warranty for repairs, which they honored. So, the price was free, the nice price. They also do other kinds of car repair there, but you'd have to inquire. I would also add that the Vietnamese American owner? manager? speaks English well and was actually giving me advice on what qualities to look for in a potential spouse. He gave service a kind of nice community neighbor touch you don't always see in many businesses. That was 2 years ago, and I'm not sure if he's there anymore, but support small business if you can.

Had been getting a flat tire and warning light over and over. Called and they said drop by. Dropped by and they took a look right away. After less than 10 minutes, they said they had found a screw in the tire, removed it, patched it (good for the life of the tire), $16. Done! And the owner/person at the counter was friendly and chatty. Everything just as I needed: friendly, quick, simple, inexpensive, quality.

I had a tire blowout, and came in without an appointment on Sunday afternoon, expecting that I would have to wait for awhile. That was not the case at all. This place is fantastic. Walking in for the first time I braced myself for what inevitably happens when a woman walks into a mechanic, being either brushed off or spoken to like you’ve never heard of anything related to a car before. I was so delightfully surprised when I was greeted by friendly and competent staff, who spoke to me like I was as competent as anyone else in the place (I did happen to be the only woman.) If you value HONESTY, FRIENDLINESS and PROFESSIONALISM - look no further. I went into their tire shop with what I thought was a slow leak. They took the time to remove my wheel and inspect it, and instead of selling me a new tire or repair which they could EASILY have done to make a buck, they told me my tire was totally fine. I offered them a few bucks for the labor, and his response was - "hey, you take care out there." In a world like this, people like this deserve our business. I WILL BE BACK. Thank you!

I brought my car in thinking that I needed to replace one of my belts and to get an oil change. They let me know that the belt was just a bit worn on the sides, but still had life left and let me decide if I wanted to get it changed. I decided to leave it alone for the time being and they told me what to keep an eye out for so I knew when it was time to change my belts. I ended up just getting the oil changed which was super quick. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I appreciate that they didn't try to up-sell me. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

TL;DR Go to these folks for tire repairs and oil changes, but maybe not for anything else. I got quoted for an expensive repair, but got a second opinion and found out they were wrong and the actual repair was much cheaper. Details: I've had mixed experiences here. Firstly, when I've taken my car in for a routine oil change they've never tried to upsell me products or services I don't need. They also work pretty quickly and are polite. However, I was recently having some issues with my car when starting up. It was taking a while to catch and it seemed like a battery issue to me (having accidentally left my lights on too many times I'm pretty familiar with how a weak battery acts). I wasn't sure though, so I took it to Express Tires because I had good service in the past. They were able to look at it quickly, which I appreciated. BUT, they told me it was the alternator and that it would cost $500 to repair. I pushed back a bit because I've had an alternator go out on me before and this just didn't seem like an alternator problem. The person chatting with me wasn't the mechanic and so he couldn't really answer my questions beyond saying 'we measured everything and your battery is fine but your alternator is not.' He pointed the mechanic out behind me and the mechanic didn't really seem like he wanted to chat (but to be fair he may not have heard our convo and realized what was happening). Anyway, I was pretty skeptical so I decided to get a second opinion. Turns out it was just the battery. I got it replaced and now it's running fine. So big expense avoided there. I don't know if they were incompetent or were just lying, but either way, I don't recommend going to this place for anything beyond oil and tires. I will say that they were very polite through out this, but they weren't really engaging my questions, and I find that a reluctance to explain the car issue in depth can be a red flag mechanics. If your mechanic won't engage with you and have a conversation with you about what is wrong with your car before making an expensive repair, go somewhere else.

Best tire repair service hands down. I had the tire off the car, asked how long will it take to fix the tire (nail in it). Guy calls someone in the back, they take the tire...10 minutes later, I'm headed down the road for $15+ tax! My first stop was Firestone about 1/2 mi down the street. They wanted $40+ and I had to leave my tire and they may or may not get to it. Now I know where I will go from now on

Anourath (owner) took it upon himself to clean and polish my wheels and even removed some old scratches just because he wanted the car to look extra nice and supposedlyhad some time on his hands. I cannot speak highly enough of this business and am definitely a happy customer. Hard to find an honest mechanic these days but this surely is one.

Overall they've always been a help to my family and friends over the years. Recently my friend didn't know what was going on with her tire pressure and they found a nail stuck in it thankfully. But as of recently this worker named, "Danny" (who also always wears a black cap), keeps trying to flirt with me whenever I am walking around. I am a local and a Minor, I also tell him everytime he asks! But he keeps trying to do it. Could someone please tell him to stop that? It is really creeping me out. Thank you.

I always have a good experience here. I've been coming here for a couple of years now and Danny and his crew always takes care of us in a prompt and professional manner. They also get major points for being open on the weekends. He can usually get you in and out for an oil change in less than a half hour. There's a waiting area with free coffee and TV to keep you entertained. It's also a quick walk to Rainier Ave if you don't want to wait. I usually walk down to the Columbia Bakery or PCC. The services are reasonably priced as well.

Having a local neighborhood service shop like Express Tires is a real treasure. I just dropped my RAV4 off for an oil change and they had it turned around in an hour! Needed a very quick turnaround on a tire replacement (screw directly through the tread on the shoulder - outside the repairable area). Much of my good experience here was just lucky timing - it was a Tuesday night, pouring rain, and the place only had a couple cars in progress. But when I arrived (after calling first), the tech grabbed my current tire out of the back of my car and took it away to evaluate, while I got my kid out. As expected, it couldn't be repaired, and they quickly figured out the closest tire model they had in stock (the full set was less than 2 months old, alas). Got the new tire on, and an overdue oil change, all done in less than 25 minutes. Solid, professional operation - I will definitely be back.

Got a nail in my tire Saturday night. Didn't realize it, but every shop around my house is closed on Sundays. Everywhere that was open told me I'd be sitting in their shop till 2 in the afternoon even though I was there at 9 am, when they opened. Express tires got me in, patched my tire, and hot me out in less than 30 minutes, even though I could tell they were busy. Awesome, friendly, fast service. I called to make an appointment and they said that appointment is not needed, just showed up and they took care of me. The wait was not that long about ~1.5hr and they are located a few blocks away from PCC Nat Mkt and other stores on Rainier Ave main strip. So, I spent most of my time their which was very convenient. I am unsure the exact spelling of the gentleman who helped me, it might have been Anourath (based on prior cust review). He was very helpful to assist me in choosing my tire. Not only that, we conversed about my car's condition. He included a quick diagnostic to determine the issues and recommended what to do next along with sharing a shop who can work on diesel engine. All in all, as a woman I trusted this business to help us with our tire needs as well as other condition with your car if they are able to help.

I’ve grown up driving by this place, but in February I needed a nail repair fast, and within $20. So, I could return to the road to make more money. Everyone said they had a wait, and it would be $25+. This place saved me. $15 to start the first tire, and a deal for any other tires that have nails or whatever. Express had me patched up, and on the road in 15 minutes for 1 nail, with other projects going on around them. Express indeed. Will use again. Actually using now. They just told me the one nail I saw, was accompanied by 3 others that I thought were just wire pieces from the road. They’re still my best option in Seattle. Next. An oil change!

They saved my butt! And hooked me up! Great service! Honest guys! On Sunday morning last weekend I discovered a nail in the edge of the tread/sidewall of a tire on my AWD Audi. Another shop told me they had a two hour wait and that it looked my like my tire was not repairable, so I went over to Express Tires. Onerat at Express Tires got working with me right away and confirmed the location of the puncture was not repairable. And unfortunately with all wheel drive, it would not be an option to replace just one tire due to potential damage to the differential. He also took the time to show me how bad it was leaking by putting soapy water on it. So he begin looking at tires he had in stock that he could sell me a full set of. And the price he quoted me for some Michelin Pilots, the type of tire I already had on the car, was actually lower than the price I saw online at that moment on Tire Rack. Then out of nowhere he told me he actually had a slightly used tire that exactly matched the three good tires I had on my car that he could sell me for cheap. We looked at the tire side-by-side with one of my existing tires and the remaining tread was nearly identical. So in the end he sold me one tire for $120 instead of a set of four tires for over $800. What a guy! I totally lucked out! And I was in and out of there in about one hour.

On that insane snowy evening, I was driving and my sister was pushing the car up the hill (sort-of). A kind gentleman stopped to help us as we struggled to get up the snowy hill. He gave us tips on how to navigate the snow, then took a look at our tires and said they had no tread and, although he was willing to pull us up the hill, it was unsafe to drive to our destination. His name was Arnot hand he worked at Express Tires just down the hill. We thanked him and made our way down the hill. We stopped at Firestone because it was still open, thinking we'd get help, but no. No one even spoke to me for the first five minutes I was in there. I left and we made our way around to Express Tires. Dropped the car off and left a note. The next day, as soon as they opened, I had got a phone call with four estimates and a promise to have my car ready within the hour! WOW! I spoke with Arnot and they got the work done early!!! I am thrilled to have a professional Tire and Auto service place that I can trust and feel respected as a customer! Awesome !!!

This is by far the fastest auto service in Seattle. You may wait weeks for most shops nowadays but their first-come, first-serve model will have you in and out the door.
