I would highly recommend this business. I needed all new tires on my truck and I purchased the BF Goodrich KO2’s and the crew that works there did an excellent job. My truck looks beautiful and they performed the service in less than 45 minutes. You can tell they really love their job and have a passion for helping people with their tire/wheel needs. I specifically worked with Ray and he was awesome and had a great upbeat personality. Thanks!

We have had several awesome experiences at this location. Even super busy, we’ve been offered same day drop off of a tire to see if they can fit it in (they did) and then a same day appointment when they were able. The service is excellent and they explain what they are doing, why, possible outcomes, and just overall communicate very well. It’s also one of maybe two car-related places I’ve been in my life where I felt the people were being honest and not treating me like an idiot (car dealerships talking to my husband instead of me about a car I am looking at etc) because I’m a woman or someone treating me like a number because they are so busy. Thank you so very much! We will be back and I will highly recommend to anyone.

My dad got a flat tire today and we called several places who said they wouldn’t be able to help us until 5-7 days from now. I called tire warehouse and they had the tire in stock and had the new tire on the car within 15 minutes of us getting there! They were very efficient and pleasant to interact with. We thought the flat was going to derail our day but we were back on the road in no time. Amazing experience!

3 stars are for swapping my tires last year but other issues repeat themselves. Staff is beyond rude. If you hate your job, go somewhere else, everybody is hiring! Two years in a row I show up during posted hours in the AM and the doors are locked. This year they decide they won't swap my tires because one had some mold on it from sitting in the basement. With all the crud and nastiness other tires have on them, they take exception to the mold. Points for creativity on how to avoid work. If you do come here, make sure your tires are wonderfully clean; they're fussy about that sort of thing...

We got a flat on i295 while towing our fifth wheel travel trailer. We got our spare on and went to the nearest tire shop (which happened to be this Tire Warehouse location). Phil and Tyler stopped what they were doing and got us in right away. Within 45 minutes, they had four new tires mounted, and we were back on the road to enjoy our vacation! I cannot say enough nice and amazing things about this Tire Warehouse location. We were on the side of a very busy highway with a flatter than flat tire (rental car with no spare) while traveling. We had a AAA towtruck pick us and the car up, but we needed to tell him where to take us & the car. I called so many tire places that told me they were “too busy and/or “too booked “ to take a look at our tire. Several told me it would be 1-2 days before they would even be able to take a look at it. I was at my wits end. When I called this tire warehouse location, they didn’t hesitate for a second and simply said “have the tow truck bring you here, we will take a look”. I am not going to lie, I teared up a bit. When we arrived at the store, they immediately took a look at our tire and when he came in from the shop, I assumed he was going to tell me how long it would take, when he could fit us in, etc. Nope. He had just finished fixing our tire. Seriously. We were in shock. These days, it feels rare to meet folks who are just good people. We met 2 gentlemen today who are just that. Their kindness will not soon be forgotten. I wish I lived in this area so I could make them my go to tire place. I wouldn’t hesitate to send my parents, friends or family here for new tires and service.

It was Saturday and I had been to multiple garages throughout the day and Friday to plug a flat tire I had been dealing with since Wednesday eve. At a different garage, and after multiple attempts at a fix, it was established I'd need a new tire, which they neither had or could get. I arrived at Tire Warehouse and the door was locked (closing time). I turned around and accepted my fate to get back in my car, but Ray opened the door and helped me out by ordering a tire for me for Monday. Thank you Ray, and the rest of the staff as well for making that happen so expediently!

Josh at Tire Warehouse was extremely helpful in helping me choose the best solution for new tires for my car--at about a third the price I had thought I would need to pay. Service was friendly and fast, and Josh communicated in advance by email what he had available and the cost. Came back (twice in three days) on emergency basis for new tires, courtesy of the local curbs. Both times the guys at Tire Warehouse were fabulous and quick. Couldn't ask for better service.

It’s been a bit hectic here this morning and the guy at the desk got a cool as a cucumber even with a line forming and phone ringing off the hook. Friendly, doing his best wanting to take care of the customer doing it right in spite of the chaos around everyone. Really made a difference in the wait, he put us at ease and just seems really nice. UPDATE: While the first experience of getting the tires was positive, I had to subsequently spend a few hours at Tire Warehouse after the fact in order to get them to fix a lug nut that was improperly fastened (this caused a slow leak that made my PSI go down to 13... should be at 33). Unfortunately, the experience made me feel uncomfortable about the way they fitted the tires so I took my car to Sullivan Tires to have them re-looked at and test everything. Tire Warehouse didn't do an alignment, which after putting on $600 tires, was a surprise. I would have worn through these tires much more quickly had Sullivan not aligned them. I would say overall, you're better off going to a place where they do the full service, including tire alignment. I'm keeping the 3 stars because my first appointment was pretty positive, but overall, I wouldn't go back. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Super great experience! I was able to get just the tires I was looking for! Definitely recommend.

If you need any work related to your tires, go here! The whole team is fantastic: super organized, efficient, knowledgeable, and kind. I made a same-day appointment for a tire rotation and everything was so smooth from start to finish. After failing an inspection for my car due to a smooth tire, I asked around for recommendations on tires, I was referred to tire warehouse. I called to book an appointment and got right in the next day, at any time of my convenience. As soon as I got there my car was taken right in. I was told 45 min, but only waited about 35! Phil and Kevin were very friendly and knowledgeable. I was even informed my last set of tires was the wrong size!!! Overall, great experience. I will be back for all of my tire needs and maintenance.

The best service. I’ve been here twice now. I went to get my tire pressure checked the first round. One tire was low, they filled it right up! They said to check back in if it got low again because if it did, there was most likely a leak. Five weeks went by, light appeared again. I returned to the trusty stop and they checked the pressure real quick. The tire pressure was extremely low, so the associate got my car in IMMEDIATELY and had the tire fixed in under twenty minutes. Perfect timing to swing over to coffee by design across the way and get back just time for said associate to swing the car around right to me. I would be doing myself a disservice to not stop at tire warehouse on Boyd St.

Phil was awesome. Needed new tires all around for inspection and he drove to their warehouse to get what I needed. All in less than 2 hours. Back again for a regular tire rotation and I am in and out with no hassle, only a great group of courteous professionals. Mike There are certain businesses that are somewhat seasonal and to an extent, this is one of them ( think snow tires, pot holes, etc.) Since I need my tires rotated and it's not the busiest time of the year, I was told come right in and we'll have your tires rotated so I could be on my way in minutes. SUCCESS! By the way, my wife is at work up the street, I could swap out my vehicle for hers and be back in about 10 minutes if you could rotate those as well. SUCCESS AGAIN. 2 BIRDS WITH 1 STONE and on my way! Phil and Scott know the definition of good old fashioned customer service. Thanks again guys.

In desperate need of a tire alignment, I called around today to see where I could get it done on short notice. After the first few places I called turned me down, Tire Warehouse was able to get me in within 2 hours. Manager Peter Blanchette and another very friendly employee provided exceptional customer service and were very patient with me, as I’m a new driver and have never done this before. I felt very comfortable and confident that my car was in good hands and even had a good laugh. Would totally recommend this location to anyone in need of work done. These down-to-Earth people definitely provided one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had; brightened my day!

My tire caught a flat (from a nail) on my way to Portland from PA, and the next day I called Phil and he told me to stop by. Quick and great service. I had my spare tire on the car and the others were in terrible shape as well. So I went to Tire Warehouse in search of four new tires. Jim listened to what I was looking for - an all-season tire that would be good in snow - and he knew just what to recommend. 60 minutes later I had four new tires and they even put my spare back in the trunk for me. I've since driven the tires through a couple of snow storms and they have handled great. Very satisfied with this Tire Warehouse. I will be back the next time I need tires and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Adding my experience from today, 11/5/2020. My tires did not pass inspection with 17k left under warranty. Phil, who has provided exceptional customer service every time he’s assisted me helped with the warranty process. Though I don’t completely agree with Goodyear’s warranty policy, Phil explained the process, answered my questions and provided his professional opinion to my specific situation. I can honestly say recently I’ve been experiencing poor customer service, in a time when you’d think company’s would step it up, and having Phil do what was right for the customer and providing incredible customer service while doing so was beyond what I was expecting for assistance. He is easily the most customer focused individual I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Even delivering information regarding a tire I wasn’t completely satisfied with, I’m keeping my business with Phil. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WORKING WITH THIS LOCATION!

Go to this place for any problems with your tires. I had a puncture from a bolt and the two men I spoke to sized up the problem and fixed it in less than 15 minutes, and just speaking to them its clear they are genuinely good people. I havent had customer service as good from any establishment in Portland in a long, long time and Ive worked in hospitality most of my life. Ill be going back for my next set of tires.

I was so impressed with the professionalism of Peter at Portland,ME store. I had terrible vibration in my steering wheel since I had my tires rotated in PA yesterday. I called garage back in PA and they suggested I stop into a garage in ME to have them balanced and reassured me it wouldn’t be too much. I had a flat tire couple of days ago and it was patched by AAA. I wanted to see if I need to get a new tire since AAA advised that. I called VIP to schedule an appointment but I didn't feel comfortable going there. So I called tire warehouse in riverside few times to make an appointment but nobody picked up the phone. I made an appointment online and says they will call me but never received a call. So I called the tire warehouse iat126 N Boyd st, Portland and the person picked up the phone right away. I made the appointment for the next day at 10 AM. I got there at 10 AM and Josh checked my tire. He said the tire that was patched looked pretty good. Another young guy checked air on all of my tires. I wanted to get snow tires and Josh gave me the approximate cost. I told him, I will be back to get the snow tires and would definitely go back when I am ready to get them. Thank you for the great service.

1/18/2019 Update: This location continues to go out of their way to ensure service is provided to the customer. Today (Friday before a big snow storm), I drove up to purchase wiper blades in the morning and inquired about scheduling an alignment (assuming they would be too busy before the storm to do the alignment today), and they ended up scheduling the alignment for today, and they drove me to work within minutes and assured me my car would be all ready to drive home at lunch time. If I could change anything, it would be to ensure the staff are taken care of because they really are dedicated to the customer and they're good at what they do. Every time I go here for one thing, I ask about something else and there hasn't been a time that they could not accommodate. I simply cannot bring myself anywhere else. I was so excited to get a walk-in appointment before a weekend snow storm, that I ordered a bunch of pizzas for the shop at lunch today to show my genuine gratitude. Thank you all. The Tire Warehouse on Boyd Street in Portland has got to be the most convenient tire location service in town. I came in today for leak check, after having visited another TW location twice last week. The other location was too busy, but the staff here took care of the flat repair right away. I have been here a few times and I have never been let down by the services provided, the prices, or any of the staff. The staff are very accommodating, having provided a timely shuttle to my office so I can get to work on time, and they pick me up when my car is ready, or at the end of the day. The waiting area is very comfortable and the courtesy wifi signal is strong. I highly recommend Tire Warehouse, most particularly the Boyd Street location. Management: Please reward the staff here with a hot breakfast, or Disney World vacation or something. They deserve it.

Great service fair prices. After hitting too many potholes on Portland streets, I was in urgent need of getting a leak fixed and all tires balanced. They got me in late on Friday afternoon, balanced the tires (car runs real smooth now) and fixed the leak for free. I made an appointment to have a tire I had blown out replaced at the Riverside location. They guaranteed it would be delivered by their warehouse by the time of my appointment. When I showed up for my scheduled appointment, they claimed that I had made a mistake and made the appointment for the Boyd St. location. When I walked into Boyd St., it was clear they had no appointment scheduled for me either. The manager, Phil, was very understanding and called the Riverside location. We found out that they had forgotten to have my tire delivered and instead of owning up to it had LIED and sent me on a goose chase across town in rush hour traffic, knowing they would not be expecting me. Phil was SUPER helpful, sent his tech to the warehouse (even though they were short staffed, and offered to stay after-hours to complete the job so that I didn't have to keep driving on a doughnut. Talk about going above and beyond! So, to summarize....Phil and his crew at Boyd St. are OUTSTANDING and provided excellent customer service to fix another location's mistake. Riverside messed up my order, lied to cover their mistake, and sent me to another location knowing I would probably be screwed. They suck.

The folks at this Tire warehouse are top notch humans!!! My car had failed and inspection for three tires.... the folks at tire warehouse looked at my tires and determined that only one really needed replacing! They referred me to another body shop to get my car inspected properly. They took me back into the work area to actually show me the tires and said they were not only passable, but in great shape! After my 60,000 mile check, the Ford dealership in Westbrook concluded that I needed a whole bunch of things to replace in my car, including all new tires (pretty routine after you’ve hit 60,000 miles). Fit me in next day and actually finished within time estimate unlike any other place I've gone to in greater Portland area. Great location--literally closest place to Munjoy Hill so easy to Uber or walk and not wait around. Little tough to find entrance since it's on a dead end. Manager was great to work with. Definitely going here for all car work going forward and would refer to friends.

I had an appointment today for 730 am, showed up early and was first in line. Another woman showed up about 745 who also said had a 730 appointment. They put my car aside and helped her, making me a half hour late for work. The woman who showed up late was there maybe 25 minutes. when I asked what happened he said he only had one guy working and had two appointments for 730. Why then would you make 2 appointments for the same time? He also accused me of being rude when I asked why it was taking so long pointing out I was late for work. They don't care about customers schedules and accusing me of being rude was the icing on the cake and the reason I took the time to let others know about my bad experience. Sadly good help is hard to find these days.
