Good Neighbor Tire & Auto is amazing. I had a huge screw in my tire and had stopped at one other shop before them who basically turned me away. I had also just been at my car dealership the day prior getting tire rotation, and they somehow missed it. I called Good Neighbor Tire & Auto the next morning. They told me to come on down. I dropped off my tire, went to work, and picked it up on the way home. They even installed it for me upon pick up, even though they were short staffed and busy. AND they didn't even charge me! I will definitely come back here with any other needs. What great service!

Had a wonderful experience with Good Neighbor Tire today. We had a nail in one of our rear tires with a slow leak. I called to make an appointment and they were about to take my car in, even though they were very busy, and patch the tire within a matter of hours. Good Neighbor has become a go to spot for us for oil changes etc. and the service I got today made it clear I won't take my car anywhere else going forward. I had called in last minute desperate for help with a flat tire/ spare situation. Alan was quick to tell me to bring it in and squeeze me onto the schedule. He was communicative, helpful and the team was able to patch the tire no problem. He turned a really terrible day around with his service and I really can't recommend this place enough!

Had a great experience with Good Neighbor! I had a slow leak in my tire, called them up and got an appointment for the next morning. The receptionist was friendly, they were able to repair the tire, and finished in about 4 hours -- and would not accept payment! The tire repair was on the house even though it's all I came in for. I was having car issues and had to get towed. Alan was amazing at communicating the issue and status of my car and even checked out any other issues my car may have; everything from alignment to air vents. He sent me a service report and told me my car was ready for pick up only days after my car broke down. He wrote up a price estimate for the non-emergent issues with my car which was extremely helpful. I highly reccomend Good Neighbors for your car needs!

OMG these guys at Good Neighbor are the best! I'm trying to get out of town on a miserable rainy Friday and in desperate need of windshield wipers. All the drive through oil places are packed and I think, hey, maybe I'll just drive into this place. All I need right now are wipers. They instantly helped me and installed them for free! I’ve always disliked going to auto shops simply for the service but once I found this shop, I haven’t stopped coming back! They are seriously staffed with the nicest employees and always do a great job! I also love that I get sent a car report and they call to discuss it with me so I always knows what’s going on!

I had recently moved from Arizona and my car had a major melt down. Not only did they get me in that day and worked thoroughly to diagnose the problems. They provided pictures and detailed descriptions and explanations of what was going on with my car. Being newly moved to Portland and being entirely on my own, they worked hard to ensure my car was drivable and safe to do so and worked with my budget so generously. I was treated like a human and I am so grateful to have found an honest shop that is slowly working with me to get my car in better shape. Great experience. They had the tires I wanted in stock (hard these days given supply chain issues) and had me drop off my car in the morning. About 3 hours later it was ready for pickup (no slotted appointments, but they got me in within a couple days of calling). I appreciated the digital inspection report, including photos. I SUPREMELY appreciated not being hassled for items that need attention such as worn brake pads, which I will replace myself. In fact when I went to pick up my car, I simply paid and walked out. A delightful change from the normal automotive upsell tactics.

My car stolen. Today it was located stripped of all four wheels. Luckily for me the thieves were thoughtful enough to leave it about a block from Good Neighbor Tire, resting on cinderblocks. The guys at the shop were awesome. Colten walked to my car with me and gave it a run around. He offered to mount wheels for me even if I got used ones off Craigslist. I was invited to relax in their lobby and after tracking down some used rims I decided to pull the trigger on some new tires. Alan found me a super affordable fit. He had them shipped and mounted the same afternoon. The guys came to my vehicle and installed everything as it stood. All-in-all I’d rate all these guys a 10/10 in every category. Made the transition from useless vehicle to good as new seamless.

I bought a set of tires when this was a Goodyear store 2 years ago. Recently, one of the tires seemed to have a slow leak, so I brought the car in to have the tire checked out. I left and when I came back they told me I needed 4 new tires. I was a little taken aback, the tires are all relatively new ( I don't drive much). I said I wasn't going to buy 4 new tires today. They had done an inspection and had sent an email with a photo of the tire with a big nail in the side wall. The rational was that you can't repair a hole in the side wall. Because it is an all wheel drive, you don't want the tread to be different on one of the tires, so you need 4 new ones. I wasn't about to buy 4 new tires on the spot and told them I would just take the car. They said they didn't think it was drivable. I insisted and they put the tire back on and away I went. The next day, my partner took the tire off and could not find a nail in the side wall at all. He did find a very repairable nail in the running surface. He took it to Double J and they repaired it for $8. As far as I can tell, they put a photo of a different tire in their report. Glad I trusted my gut and got the heck out of there. I am happy to say I can amend this review. I got a call from the shop after posting this insisting that there was a nail in the shoulder area of the tire. We went and checked and yes, in a different tire that wasn't loosing air, there was a nail in the shoulder area. This is the picture they had put in their inspection report. Because the tire with nail in the shoulder area wasn't loosing air, we suspected that it hadn't pierced the tire body, but of course there is only one way to find out. We removed the nail, which proved to be more of a tack or maybe just a nail head, and found no sign of leakage. We tested the site with soapy water and concluded that the tire was not punctured and luckily I still didn't need a new set of tires. Had they said that they tire I came in to get inspected had a nail in it and was repairable, but they also found a different problem with another tire that may or may not be fixable, I would have been fine with that. To simple state you need four new tires seems a bit of a hard sell. In my experience, communication was not their strong. I will credit them with reaching out and that qualifies as good customer service to me.

I've been taking my cars here for about 5 years. During that time I've been 100 % satisfied. When it comes to tires Brett knows every thing about what will give you the best bang for your buck. I had always taken my cars to the dealer, and couldn't figure out why they always tried to sell me extras. So I asked, they were all on commission, so the more they added on, the more money they pocketed. Haven't been back and will continue to use Sandy Blvd Goodyear Tire and Auto.

My service with them started out ok-tires, all good and a fair price. But then before a long road trip I spent a significant amount replacing basic parts and just having overall service to ensure reliability on the trip. Well, twice we were stuck and delayed when my vehicle didn't start. Once in middle of nowhere. The second person to help us saw a problem with dirt and buildup that kept a certain connection from happening. Turned out just cleaning it right there worked. But, since I spent nearly $1000 making it "garunteed" road worthy I took it back to Point S. I certainly get that my vehicle is older and anything could happen- but the fact that it was just this connection issue and somebody just removed the build-up and debris makes me it seem like it would have been a basic thing that would have been looked at in readying for the trip. I took it back to Point S to have them go over/look at the problem- to clean it well and make sure thats what it really was. Spoke about it, in detail, on the phone and at drop off. I explained what happened on the road trip. While there I wanted an oil change too. Close to three hours after bringing my car in it was declared done. They did the oil change only-saying that the connection issue was an "anomaly". Didn't sound like they even checked it. So-basically I waited nearly 3 hours for just an oil change and window washer fluid re-fill. Could have went close to home to Jiffy Lube for same and way less time. And after I left the "change oil" light stayed on! I first thought that driving it would make it go off. Nope. A call to them-they want me to come back in and will turn it off. More time. Also- one other thought- its not so good when an employee of your company shares with the customer that the place is run chaotically and inconsistent. I still went there after hearing that-but won't now.

Great experience with the guys here! They were able to schedule me for a last minute early appointment to get a flat tire fixed before I headed out of town. As I was heading out the door to go to the store, I noticed my car was broken into. I spoke to Colton who was extremely sweet and understanding and told me to take my time and call once I had everything situated. Called a few hours later and they were still able to get me in. I was there for no less than a hour to fix a flat tire and everyone was super helpful and made a crummy day a lot better! Colton was amazing help through everything.

6 Stars if possible!!!! (Story-time) My girlfriend and I had planned a road trip from Los Angeles to Canada weeks/months in advance. We were supposed to take her Subaru BRZ for the entire trip but we decided to bring my Audi A3, primarily because of the brighter headlights and all wheel drive. We drove through the middle of California when we noticed that my steering wheel was shaking a lot, specially when we hit the brakes hard and suddenly. We realized we had many hours and hundreds of miles on our trip left. So we stopped by Portland for a few days, and we used that time to search for shops. Luckily, Michael and Alan were able to take us in on a last minute appointment. Keep in mind, this is last minute during christmas week. They kept me informed of the estimate, pricing and ETA of repairs. Alan & Michaels team were able to complete my brakes, rotors and other work completed on my car before we continued on our trip. Overall, you can’t put a price on your safety. These guys did an amazing job with everything, and I absolutely recommend them!! Happy Holidays and Cheers!!

They were quick on replacing my tires. I told them the tires I was contemplating and rattled about four sets and my guy didn’t try to muscle me into the most expensive. I told him what I drove and he listened to what I was deciding from and he was just like no these are the perfect tires which weren’t the most expensive. I sold vehicles for Toyota and did well because people liked that I never pressed them into something that didn’t suit them. So mad respect to the crew at S point. Great service and communication during the quote and service but . . . I discovered they grossly under inflated my tires (30psi), which made the ride of these expensive new tires not so smooth. A friend helped me sort it out and put 45psi in the rear and 40psi in the front which made it ride like the $500+ I’d just forked out for. Service people in the bays need to pay more attention, I told them several I was going on a road trip and that my vehicle was carrying extra weight. I just drove 2500 miles on some rough roads and the tires performed fantastic!!!

I brought my truck in for new shocks and tires which was done promptly. Unfortunately, there was something wrong with it when I got home. This coincided with some other work that I needed done as well. The problem was with the tires (not the install) and the other work was determined to cost more than they originally quoted. Regardless, they worked diligently to solve the problem, got it fixed, and then honored their original quote despite it costing more in parts and labor than they thought. Great communication! Anticipated my needs and questions. Extremely thorough: They create a log for your automobile, taking photos from every angle, odometer settings, past oil stickers, etc. They supply email, text and call updates in real time. Clean, fast, and their front staff was very knowledgeable. Their entire system is sublime. Economical as well. I only had a couple experiences with tires remounted and patched, but I was *very* impressed.

I brought in my car at 1PM as scheduled, for an oil change. I had visited the shop in person the previous day to set the appointment. When I arrived, I was told the car might not be ready for two hours. So I walked down the street--difficult due to my spine condition--and waited at a restaurant. I paid $88 for the oil change, a bit high, but it was synthetic oil, and came with a free multi-point inspection. However, if there was indeed an inspection, I have not been notified of details. I give four stars, though, because everyone was friendly, and professional in demeanor.

The manager Bret and staff at POINT S tire and auto service company at the sandy location have done an outstanding job with the service they have provided me. I came in looking for a good and reliable tire with much tread, I was helped with good service and was seen the same day with no appointment. I appreciated the no-contact pick-up and delivery during these difficult times. I also appreciated that the shop is open for business. When you find a reliable service you want to stick with them. Recently my van had to be towed to the shop. A couple of weeks before I had an oil change, work on the radiator and some miscellaneous stuff done. As I started up a small hill, the engine would rev but the van would not move — rather barely would move. Luckily there was a park very close and I managed to baby the van into an area in the park where a tow truck could maneuver. This was Sunday. The next day I received a call, expecting a large bill as I thought the transmission had gone. Nope. The brand new hose that ran from the radiator to the transmission cooler disintegrated. They were able to look it over the next day and had my car up and running right away. I went to Sandy Blvd Tire & Auto because they were close to my house, had good/great reviews, and because other Mechanic shops were all full on my only day off. I set up an appointment online, and got a call the next day to tell them more details about what I needed done. Very friendly and nice. They love my rig (1994 Manual 4runner 6cyl 3.0) and I felt I could trust them. I cannot recommend Point S (formerly Sandy Blvd Tire & Auto) enough. Recently we were shipping our old car to my mother in a different state, and a routine oil change shed light on some other issues. It wasn't too surprising - the car is an '08 with almost 140K miles on it - but we were short on time and wanted to make sure the car was safe and in good condition once my mother got it. Both Jason and Brett were so helpful and gracious, working within a specific budget and coming in early to work on our car so it was ready before it had to be shipped. It's this kind of expert care and service that will keep us coming back again and again.

My wife and I dropped off my car this Saturday afternoon for a seasonal tire changeover. Yeah, I know it's August and very late to finally be swapping my winter tires over to my all-seasons... but better late than never I guess. Anyway, the swap over( along with a very thorough vehicle/brakes/fluids/safety inspection) was done in a few hours. The inspection report is awesome and details anything and everything that may need attention with your vehicle. They even supply actual pictures of the parts/fluids they inspect that clearly show the condition of each component and tell you if it needs attention or if it's in "good" condition. Those are very helpful and let you decide the priority of any future services coming up. I would like to give a special shout out to one of their service advisors, John C. He went above and beyond on his quantity and quality of customer service. In a series of unfortunate events, we missed calling in payment before they closed and , per their policy, weren't going to be able to get our car back until Monday AM. Needless to say, it was a nightmare situation. Luckily, John was there to save us! He was just locking up the shop for the night( a good 45 minutes after they had officially closed) when we flagged him down in the parking lot from across the street. He graciously waited for us and allowed us to pay in order to be able to get out vehicle back instead of having to wait until Monday( remember, this was Saturday evening). He had to unlock the front door and then boot their computer system back up just for us to be able to settle up with them. John saved the day and that's why we will be going back to Point S for any future tires and/or services that we need done on our vehicles. All in all, their vehicle service was good... but their customer service was OUTSTANDING.

This place is amazing. They got me a great deal on 4 new tires for way less than I thought they would cost. They also did a full inspection on my vehicle for FREE. They didn't try and pressure me in to fixing anything, they just wanted to make me aware of issues that may arise in the future. I ended up getting a screw in my tire after only a few months, and they repaired it on the spot. If you need new tires, or auto work done this is a one stop shop.

These guys are awesome. I came in for tires, and I got a great set. They also did a thorough inspection of my truck as part of the package. This can be scary, because I don't know a ton about cars, and I'm always wary when mechanics tell me I need something done. Here, they take the time to take photos of everything they're inspecting. They explained everything to me in a way that I could understand, and they sent me an email with all the photos and their descriptions of what was going on and how much it might cost. I didn't feel pressured at all, and I was able take some time to think about it and do some of my own research. I ended up doing what they recommended, and I feel great about it... Especially because I randomly had a couple more issues in the next week or so (not related or their fault at all), and they went above and beyond to check everything out and make sure I had a loaner car to get to school on time when I woke up with a dead battery. They give Text updates and never pressure to do extra work but incredibly thorough and make sure you know what needs to be done. Today I came by for a headlight out and they got me in without an appointment and on my way in minutes. They helped me out without making me go out of my way to drive home and come all the way back. This level of service anywhere is unheard of. I've been taking my car here for a few years and I keep coming back because they've earned my trust. I needed a new hybrid battery and didn't realize Honda had extended the warranty to cover it. These guys could have charged me thousands for a new battery and service, but instead they informed me of the service alert from Honda and the extended warranty, so I could go across town to the dealer for free service under the warranty. I was within 10 miles of the mileage cutoff, too, so they could have easily not informed me; I would have quickly driven out of qualifying range and I would have never known the difference. To me, that's a trust that's hard to come by in this business and it's why I keep coming back. They've never tried to talk me into unnecessary repairs and are always prompt and courteous in all interactions. I appreciate them very much.

Had a tire that had leak on the side wall. I knew that I would be looking at full replacement of all tires. Downside was that it happened in Portland, away from I would normally take our cars for tires. I looked up close tire shop and found Sandy Blvd Tire. Went in told them what I needed, they gave me a couple of choices that were in stock. We went ahead and put 4 new tires on the car, I found them to be very reasonable in cost, and friendly in service. Not only did they change out tire, but gave me a full review of what services I might need in the future. No pushy - you have to get it done. I thought that was a nice touch. Call around and check prices before committing. Winter tire change over is $50 more at Sandy Blvd Point S than The Dalles Point S. I know there are differences and rural is often less but each Point S is independently owned and just because you got a fair deal at one does not mean a fair deal at the other.

I brought my car in because the front tire has a slow leak. They were kind enough but charged me $20 to remove the tire (alone) and $3 to clean the bead, which was allegedly dirty due to moisture inside the tire due air. Not exactly the price I expected pay considering how "very common" and simple it was to diagnose and fix (?). Might give them another chance, due to convenience and the fact they sell the tires on my car.

Have been a regular here through several vehicles and a number of years. Just had another in a series of great customer service experiences. Extra time spent making sure I understood complicated results of diagnostics on older Jeep as well as time/effort coming up w a safe interim fix until I can afford to do all of the recommended services and repairs. Also noteworthy is that over the years many times they have swapped a headlight or fixed a puncture in a tire on the spot and with the quickness keeping my combination work truck/delivery vehicle/dadmobile on the road without a hiccup. Hate having car problems, love having this place nearby.

I took my new GMC Denali XL in for an alignment after installing new lowering springs at ProTek. The truck was handed back to me and off I went. A couple weeks later I noticed the camber was off at both sides (-1 star). They got me back in and explained how it happened and fixed it. Skip to the end for the bottom line, but here is the story: In September my 2002 Honda accord started leaking oil out of the blue at a rate of about a quart every 10 seconds. I had recently had my timing belt replaced at Brake Team so I decided to have my car towed there since it could not be driven, assuming the warranty would cover whatever was happening with the car. After Brake team took apart the engine, they said the oil gasket was broken, and the brand new timing belt was ruined and none of this was covered under their warranty since they claimed they didn't touch these parts during the timing belt change. Total estimate 1,000. I decided to have it towed to Sandy Blvd Tire & Auto and see what they quoted me. I received a call less than a day later with news that the repairs would be 400$ cheaper. Apparently a seal needed to be replaced and the oil gasket was fine. ALSO, they replaced both my front tires for FREE, since they were separating and on the verge of popping, they even freaking washed my car since the brake team techs had left it filthy with hand prints. BOTTOM LINE: HONEST, CERTIFIED TECHS, FRIENDLY STAFF AND MGMT. AND FAIR PRICES. Don't try to take your car to some brake team, or other place you think will save you money in the present, because it will only cost you more in the long term, and they probably will be shady and overcharge you anyway. I have bought a set of tires for both of my cars from Sandy Blvd Tire & Auto and they have been nothing but helpful whenever I have an issue. I have gotten a nail in my tire a couple of times and they always jump on it to fix the problem when I call. They are also some real stand up guys. I got a quote for some work on my car and Brett (the store manager) thought I only needed work on the rear struts of my car and gave me a quote. When I dropped off the car he took the keys and got to work. After they got started they realized that I wanted work done on all of the struts. He completed the work on all of the struts but honored the original quoted price that he gave me. I know it was a mistake on their part but he could have come back and charged me what it actually cost to do the work. I will be buying my tires and getting suspension work done at Sandy Blvd Tire for a long time to come! Great people to talk to as well.

Also called Point S. Honestly, they are very nice people and took care of my problem right away. But what disappointed me is that the pricing for parts is double what I could find online as the highest price for the part. When I called and asked why their price for parts is so high I was told it's because online retailers can buy large amounts of the same part and get discounts and they don't warrant the fix for two years. I'm sorry, the part has its own warranty from the manufacturer and most online retailers don't buy large amounts of the part because they are small businesses and large retailers have the manufacturer ship directly to the customer. Even if his statement was true, the parts should not be double the highest retail price, maybe 10 to 20 percent more. I won't be taking my business here anymore.
