Upon arriving at this location there was a line formed for check-in. The gentleman who greeted me for check-in was very diligent in trying to help me with my tire needs. He gave me the feeling he had specialize knowledge in the field tires and tire tread wear. He had a very courteous professional way about him and met all my expectations. I was going to give Discount Tire a four star rating but once I thought about how the gentleman conducted himself, plus looking me in the eye and shaking my hand I have to give you guys a five star rating. I later found out the employee helping name to be Travis Prinsen. Outstanding job Discount Tire, 5+ stars Travis. Also for those of you who are not aware of it they do offer wheels and tire packages as many different varieties of wheel accessories.

If your looking for new wheels or tires, I highly recommend this place! I went in Saturday to get some pricing and Ty is the gentleman that helped me! He went above and beyond and assisted me with all my questions. He even brought a tire out to my truck to give me a visual. Ty had quoted me 3-5 business days for my items to come in but I ended up getting a call the morning of Tuesday that my items were in! I was blown away at how quick they came in. When my husband went to install my tires/wheels we had found that we were given the incorrect lug nuts, I did contact discount tire and spoke with Ty and he resolved my issue quickly and installed the correct lug nuts himself! I can't thank discount tire enough and especially Ty for truly an amazing experience!! I will definitely be back for any future needs.

Just went here for the first time today because they were the only place with a spot open to patch my tire! They were completely booked for the day and still got me in. The staff are extremely nice and professional. And my car was done before the given time frame!! And even better, I find out a tire patch here was free!! 10/10 would recommend going here for any service.

Great place, Discount Tire 78th & Cass, Lou at Brakes Plus sent me. I need to thank him again. Riley did the writeup , gathering all my information , he then said it should be ready in 45 minutes to an hour. I had been dealing with a front end vibration over 40 mph. 3 trips to my ex-tire company just a run around. Discount rotated 2 tires (directional tread ) and balanced all 4 wheels. Just like Riley said my truck was ready 55 minutes later. I think I found a short stretch of I-80 were 90 mph was okay, still NO vibration!! Again thank you to Lou at Brakes Plus 3907 N 90th St for getting my problem solved. The guy at Tommy's said "get a real mechanic" to check my problem when all I needed was a REAL tire shop. Another 5 stars to Brakes Plus & 5 stars to Discount Tire !

Who doesn't need tires,but when you do... where do you go...and then your looking one up...then don't go pass D in the alphabet and skip over the J and the rest...., just stop at Discount Tire at 78th and Cass. Pete, Cody and the crew here treat you right...and did I say honestthen some places who offer drive out specials. They treat you like family....So Cuz, no need to worry if you hit one of those state pot holes in Omaha or the shoes on your baby need a new to get ya back on the roads again... it Discount Tire.

I had a great experience w Thomas and crew today. Though I was late (about 20 minutes) to my appt then where able to get me in. I watched how well Thomas coached the rest of the crew and ensured they did things right ( he wasn't aware I was watching which makes it even more impressive). No cussing. No frustratikn or anger towards the new guys. I'm very pleased.

I've been a loyal Discount Tire customer for 20+ years in multiple states. I can always count on great service and value, which is saying even more during these times of inflation and labor woes. My last couple of visits to the Discount Tire on 78th & Cass in Omaha was no exception, once for my classic car and once for a company van. Brendan, Cody, and everybody else I dealt with went above and beyond for me. I won't go anywhere else.

My tire pressure light came on so I went in to get a refill on air. It was discovered that I had a nail in my tire. I was sized up for a tire and back on the road within an hour. Oh, and this was on a busy day. Awesome & friendly service.

They were amazing, no one tried to sell me anything extra I didn't need and they called and let me come get my tires installed a full day before my scheduled appointment which I was very grateful for. They're fast and efficient as well, overall a great place.

It was time to swap out my winter tires for a new set of summer tires. I jumped on the site and picked out a set of highly rated tires. Scheduled the appointment and was in and out in just a little over an hour. BUT after driving around for a few hours I realized I’d made a HUGE mistake on my tire selection. The vehicle felt extremely unstable at road speed and down right terrifying during...spirited driving. I returned to the store later that day thinking I was going to be eating this, now used, set of $1,300 tires. After speaking to one of the gents at the counter and explaining my situation he knowledgeably walked me through significant differences between the OE tires and the ones I had purchased. Like I said, this was my fault and my poor choices and I was expecting to eat the cost, if not the whole cost at least some restock and use fees. In the end, all I paid was the difference between the tires I originally purchased and ones I should have bought to begin with. Everything was painless and extremely professional. I just picked my car up and it once again drives and handles just like it did they day I picked it up from the dealership. It’s so rare that you have an extraordinary customer service experience these days, ESPECIALLY when you as the customer, were clearly wrong. I’ll be back in a few months for my new set of winter tires. Thanks again guys.

They were quick and efficient, told me what they did and explained the cost (which was $0 by the way to repair a flat and put it back on my vehicle). The cashier guy gave me a 70 dollar discount to fit my budget which I am grateful for! Service was very fast and the warranty on the tires makes it worth the price. 4 stars because they didn’t put caps on three of my tires, left glue on all of them and made my rims extremely dirty.

After the dealership said our tire was beyond repair on our lease and tried to sell us almost a 400 dollar tire we took it here. They actually took the tire of the rim and verified it was within the guidelines to repair safely. They patched our tire and switched out the tires for us. Honesty means a lot to me and they have it. They could have easily sold us a tire we did not need I'll go here every time and I live all the way in Bellevue.

This is the second time I bought tires from them. Good service both times. I made an appointment this time and they got new tires on the van within an hour and then apologized for taking so long. Did a great job On 10 3 22 I had a badly leaking tire, one of Kumho tires I bought at Cass street Jan 2020. I chose the tires but I wouldn't get them again. I feel they wore out too soon. Any way the couldn't fix the tire so the put a new Mohave on. I really like the tire it's nice looking has a better tread so I am going to replace the other 3 with same thing . Oh and they are still courteous and helpful although some of the customers are not and will try to cut in front of you if a line forms. Good customer service like theirs takes time so sometimes lines form. I high recommend making an appointment.

In the past year, I've gone thru 3 new cars for various reasons, all of which needed new wheels or tires. I have primarily used Discount Tire in the past, but none of them have been as great as the one on Cass st. I had an issue with a set of wheels I purchased from another Discount Tire location that wound up being the wrong size, and the manager at the Cass St. store hooked me up with a brand new set for free to fix the problem. Seriously, way above and beyond my expectations. I've thrown them a few curve balls with strange questions and requests, and they've been amazing about helping me out every time. Can't recommend them enough.

I have gone into discount tire several times in the past when my dashboard warning showed low tire pressure. They have always been so nice about taking care of things like that so when I needed tires that is the place I chose to go. They talked to me about my driving needs and found the best tires. After hitting an infamous Omaha pothole, I was extremely distressed because I had absolutely no way of paying to replace my newly flat tire. I called the store to make sure they had my (very small, hard to find) tire in stock and to see if they would be able to work out a payment plan of some sort. I was helped by Brendan (I believe) who was insanely helpful, friendly, and professional. He reassured me that they would do everything they could to help me out and he told me not to worry. He truly took care of me and met me where I was, financially. I will absolutely be using Discount Tire in the future and I have already recommended them to my family.

Love Discount Tire because I get the perks of going to a chain - but with that local tire shop vibe when I interact with their employees. Tires Plus or Firestone this is not. I recently replaced all four tires on my Highlander. Picked them out online and made an appointment, showed up the next day and I was in and out in 25 minutes. So fast. I’ve always been treated incredibly well at this location, kudos especially to Mike and Jacob for being professional, courteous and awesome.

I've never felt pressured and they've always been upfront with me about everything. On this visit I just needed my tires rotated and they noticed the lug nuts weren't the best and they replaced them at no cost. Good job guys, keep it up!

Amazing service. Walked out with a 0$ bill. I didn't know service like them existed. Suggested. I had a flat tire and I took it to them. They said if they can fix its 0$. They fixed the tire, filled air in all four. Checked everything and still it was 0$ The price of the tires were also competitive. For a mid quality tire it was 88$+ approx 30$ in charges.

This is a great place we worked with Kevin and he made. The process easy. We were coming from out of town as our daughter had appointments at children's hospital we were stressing about how we were going to get home as all of our tires were not in good shape. He got us a great price on all 4 new tires and now we feel safe to have our daughter in the vehicle on the trip home. If you want a place that cares this is the place to go.

I didn't have an appointment but decided to go anyway. I was helped within a few minutes. They recommended a set of tires that suited my needs, even discouraged buying other tires that were more expensive. I got there around 9:15 am. I was told it would be finished around 11:15. Not to bad since I didn't have an appointment. Left to have breakfast and on my way back I got a text that my car was done. It was just past 10:30. Remarkable. But the ride home on those tires felt so comfortable and even my grandson noticed the difference in the ride and he is only seven. Thanks.

I noticed a nail in my tire and thought I'd check this place out since it's near where I live. It was super easy to schedule and appointment time online (showed what times were available on the day I wanted), and when I went in, they staff were all super friendly. They took care of the flat in about 20-30 minutes and, to my surprise, the flat repair + balancing was totally free! Apparently this is one of the services they offer even if it's not their tire they're repairing. And the repair was good to - plug + patch + check to make sure no air bubbles continuing to come in. They even showed me the old shims they'd taken out from the last time the tires had been rotated and balanced to show they'd re-balanced it. Great people, very helpful.

I was going to put 3 but the manager helped us out and made things right. Great prices, good tires. Ask to see the tire specs side by side to see star rating on snow, ice, rain, dry. The 2 and half star winter traction are OK, not the best. They got me around in the snow, even got off an icy hill, but wish I had the money at the time to buy tires with better winter traction. They except walk in. Best to make an appointment as you won't know how busy they are with walk in.

These guys were great! I only went in prepared to buy one tire; but the guy who helped me examined my vehicle and let me know I'd really need two. I had told him I could only afford one new one with my budget and he searched their inventory until he could find me two really good used ones that still fit within my budget. He was an absolute delight to work with and fun to talk to as well, while waiting. Also, even if you don't buy your tires here, they'll still fix your flat/leak for free! Now that's service.

Told me wait would be 1 hour to 1 hour fifteen minutes for a tire rotation. Decided to leave it and came back an hour and 45 minutes later. It was not even started. I think it's ridiculous to have an over 2 hour wait for a tire rotation. Maybe Discount Tire could do better on this aspect of their business and get tire rotation done without the same wait as actually getting new tires. Very disappointed!

Spent a good amount of time at the shop over this weekend thanks to them potholes. I’m very impressed at how professional yet friendly and easy to work with the staffs are. Kevin was extremely patient and willing to help. Brandon was very attentive. Even on the phone they were very helpful. Given the current state of affairs, I’m generally very nervous about going to any public business for any reason. I’ve been driving around on a spare tire for much longer than I should, so I decided to go in and get the tire fixed with Discount today. I have to say, I have yet to see another business be so visibly diligent about the health and safety of its customers. The workers (Steve primarily took care of me today) wiped down the card transaction machine between each use, made sure that everyone kept a safe distance in a tactful and caring manner, and all of them had masks on. They even have customers pulling their own cars in and out to assure that there is as little contamination of their workers and customers as possible. Just brilliant work by the folks over at this spot, they have earned my future business time and time again, and this occasion put their bar even higher.

Nothing is free! Free pressure check, they try to sell a tire. Free flat repair, sell a tire. I couldn't even get these people to put a new patch on to replace the old patch that fell off. It was a simple slow leak! They wouldn't use my spare tire either! WTF! I ended up needing a new used tire. No money for that. They offer me a wrong sized used tire to get by. How is this even an option with 2 better options ahead of it? I had a perfectly good spare & they could have re patched the tire they wanted me to replace. My front 2 tires are completely bald, but their concern was only my back driver's side age of tire & replacing a patch. Mike is a con artist & Dustin & Keith are amazing! This is the only problem I've had with them but it's a pretty big one as far as I'm concerned. Didn't want a low star rating for one A******!

My experience here was amazing.I arrived almost as they were closing and they stayed open to make sure I was able to get my tires taken care of. They were professional and personal. You can really tell they take pride in their business. The tires that I purchased have performed great. I can honestly say this was my best car experience I have ever had and will return for all my tire needs.

Had a leak in a tire from a screw, that was in a place it can't be repaired. The dealer said they had one type of tire and it would be a day to get it there. Went to Discount Tire on Cass street. They checked the tire, check the tread on the other tires (they were okay, but not by much). They had a full range of tires available and showed the options and performance and prices. I had them replace all four, and drove off a few hours later. Two days later the tire pressure light came on, what the heck, right? Looked, bad luck, I got a nail in one of the new tires. Took it in to them, they tried to patch it but no luck. So they gave me a replacement tire, no extra charge for tire or labor. Really was happy with the experience.

I went in for a tire quote on Friday 01/24/20. Mr. Doolittle the Mngr. assisted me with the best tire for my truck. Very professional, and no pressure. It was close to closing time. But, he said he could still get me in the same night. I bought 4 PATHFINDER A/T tires at a very good price. Better than elsewhere. Well, when the guys were about better than halfway through on my new tire installation, I recalled that I wanted to have my spare tire checked out also. They lowered the old spare and offered me a great price on a new one. Got the spare on and back up in no time. Workers did an outstanding job, and I was completely 100% satisfied with the overall experience and treatment I received at this Discount Tire business on 78th and Cass, Omaha, Ne. I recommend them to anyone seeking new tires. You will not be disappointed!

My daughter lost her tire in the bank parking lot next door. It was after hours. Tommy and the guys were inside doing inventory. My wife knocked on the door. They stopped what they were doing, came out, got my daughter's car over to their parking lot, did an inspection, and pulled her car into the garage to work on it first thing in the morning. They told them what needed to be done and quoted a fair price. Early the next morning, they had her car ready to go. It's nice to know people like Tommy and Discount Tire were there for my family, even when they didn't have to be.

I've been a long time American / Discount Tire customer from California through Florida. I've used probably close to 25 different locations over the past 15 years. By far, the Cass location is the premier location for Discount Tire. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, their patience is beyond comprehension for a retailer. I've seen them handle various situations throughout my many visits, and the way in which they assist customers who are confused/lack knowledge/ or just irrational is commendable. They are informative, but dont talk down/belittle/or exude any frustration in assisting guests. The team does not work off commission, so they focus on solving the needs of customers to the best long-term resolution. I've replaced 4 vehicles with full set tires, and 3 vehicles with winter wheel/tire setups. They can order any wheel or tire, they price match online retailers, and they have various rebates. I had an issue with them accidentally throwing away a tire I intended to keep as a spare for a performance vehicle, and the pickup had already occurred. They fixed this issue in a way that greatly exceeded my expectations. I will never go to another location to deal with my tires or wheels again.

Read this review! I've never been to a more excellant place with such great customer service like here at Discount Tire. When I walked in there was a line of people but the Service Manager excused himself from what he was doing to greet me. The wait in line was not to long maybe about 2 minutes if that. NOTHING is ever free but he said it was FREE. If I need a new tire he found me an affordable tire for only $120. Not bad at all. Went to Discount Tire on Cass St. this morning thinking I needed a new tire. Was helped over the phone by William and in store by Miguel. After inspecting the tire I was told it just had a nail in it and they could repair it, at no charge! They also swapped out the repaired tire for my donut I had on the car and had me back on the road in under a half an hour, all at no charge! I was so impressed with their honesty, most other places would have been happy to sell me the new tire. They made my day, as I live on a tight budget. They were all extremely polite. This Discount Tire, although very busy, was very professional, from the minimal-contact COVID procedures, to the techs that installed the tires on my camper, to the service/sales reps that matched a competitor’s price. I found the same tires on Amazon cheaper, but many of the reviews complained of tires that although brand new, were already 1-2 years old by the tire date on the side wall. The tires that DT provided were produce the 12th week of 2020, meaning I will truly get the full lifetime of these tires, not to mention their hazard coverage. The tire size I needed wasn’t a common size to have on hand, so it took a couple of days to get them from the warehouse/supplier. Once they came in, they were able to squeeze me in for installation allowing us to still make our camping trip. If you need tires, I highly recommend Discount Tire and specifically through the Cass Street store and it’s team.

Flats, rotations, and tire inspections/air checks are free regardless of whether you bought tires from them or not. If your tires are in good enough shape they even offer to cover them with their certificate program that gives you a free tire installed on your vehicle for any non-repairable damage besides alignment wear and vandalism. So with a certificate you can get a new tire installed for around $20. Just don't be dumb and go in Friday or Saturday WITHOUT an appointment and act confused when it takes and hour or so for them to get you back on the road. They're the best at what they do, they repair tires for free, and they are located just off dodge street so of course they're busy ALL the time.

This is the kind of place that does only one thing, and does it very well. Don't go here for brakes, or windshield wipers, or an oil change. But if you need to buy, repair, or maintain the tires on your car, they're great. When I moved to Omaha a few years ago, I was surprised how poor the tire places were here. Maybe I was spoiled living in areas served by Discount Tire all my life. Here's what you can expect (and what I received on my recent visit to this location): the lowest prices in town, expert advice, and superb customer service. I came in with a vehicle with fairly hard-to-find tires, and they had several tires for it in stock. They greeted me with a smile and a handshake. I paid a couple extra bucks per tire, and they'll replace those tires for free, anywhere in the country, if they are ever damaged in any way. They'll inspect, inflate, rotate, and balance those tires for free, for life. I feel like I can trust this place. The sales people are paid on salary, not commission, so they're very low-pressure. They have a giant window with bar stools facing it, so you can watch how they treat your precious ride. Seating is comfortable and simple beverages are free. They treat female customers with the same respect they show male customers (a problem at some of the other local places). This is an especially good store to visit in 2013 for two reasons: First, business hasn't picked up yet, so you'll be in and out in just a few minutes (rather than the hour or hour and a half it takes at busy Discount Tire locations). Seriously, they're like an Indy pit crew back there. Second, they're using this store as a management training center, so many of the staff are top picks from around the country, training to manage their own stores as the chain expands in Nebraska.

The NEO 01 store did a wonderful job. I dropped off summer wheels and they mounted the rubber to two of them that needed replacement then came back for the install and swap of winter wheels to summer.
