My friend's husband recommended me this place after trying to find a trustworthy mechanic in the area and I was so thankful for his recommendation. It's nothing more important than having a knowledgeable, trustworthy and decent price mechanic when it comes to owning a car and M.IC. is the place. There is a waiting room as well. I decided to wait in the room since I was not in a rush while doing my car get the oil changed. I also brought in my CAT shield to be installed by their technician as well. P.S. Many women can talk about the experience of being taken advantage of by auto shops and being overcharged but I can honestly say that was not the case today. I was looking around in my area for someone to install a bull bar. No one near me would do it, that’s when I got referred to them. I drove up from PA and was able to park it there Friday night. They got to work on it the next day and did an excellent job. In another 2 weeks I’m going to have them install my led light bar. The staff was kind and answered my questions right away. I would definitely recommend them they do great quality work.

I was driving into NYC from Pennsylvania to start my first day on a new job when my tire blew out in the middle of state route 380, I got the emergency by bubble on and went to work the next morning but had to find a place to get my tire repaired last minute as my job daily travel. A tire company recommended this garage and I was sure I wouldn’t get an appointment that quickly when I saw how busy they were. Mike and all the staff were amazing they took my car in right away, I asked that they replace all four tires including the damaged ones and I was back on the road within an hour. These folks are amazing. I found them to be honest (they told me I didn’t need to replace the others). There work is impeccable, they even repacked my emergency tire and all the contents of the roadside kit back into the tire well. Talk about attention to detail! If you need tires in NYC this is the place to go! Thanks again guys for all that you do!

I brought my car to these guys for the first time in the winter of 2019, they gave me a great price on 4 tires, changed my oil, and did my inspection. Earlier today I brought my car there again, this time to take a look at my breaks, which were squeaking a bit. They called me within an hour and told me that I needed front brakes and gave me a great price. I confirmed to go ahead with the brakes. An hour later they called to tell me car was ready. I showed up a few minutes later, paid my bill, got my car and I’m a happy camper. These people offer great service, super quick, always a warranty on the parts, and they give great prices. As someone who knows nothing about cars I’m happy to have found this place who is always fair and never try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge. Highly recommend them.

Great place to have any car maintenance. I just had my 70K service nicely done, and everyone at the shop was so friendly and helpful. Not only they squeezed me into their busy schedule, I was clearly told all the services my car needed and didn’t need. Pricing is reasonable, and with COSTCO discount it’s quite a deal. I recommend this shop for maintenance services, and I will definitely use the shop again.

They offered to change my tire and mount my spare tire. I decided to purchase a new tire and was on my way in 45 minutes. These guys are amazing! I just so happen to be at the shell station pumping gas and all of sudden my vehicle didn’t want to start because of a dead battery. With the urgency of me wanting to get to my hiking trip upstate and on time they were there to help me. It's first come, first serve and will stop taking cars when the queue is full. Definitely worth the wait though for the A+ service.

Amazing customer service. I went in for a noise in my car & they thought they fixed the right thing, picked it up & my car was still making the noise. I brought this up to the mechanic & he was very kind about it & was determined to get to the bottom of the issue. I had paid for the original fix they proposed that didn’t solve the noise. They take care of you, dont rip you off, or make you wait long. 6/11/21- I drop my car off at 8am for oil change service, and first thing Mike says is OK let's rotate your tires too since its been about 6k miles. Great idea. While the car was on the lift they notice my front brakes/ rotors were SHOT and reccomended get these changed out. When i asked how long, Mike told me just another 2 hours to change out. I think he was done before that. This shop is so easy to deal with, it truly is a pleasure bringing my vehicle here and you certainly feel like a priority. Highly reccomend

Brought my 2016 Ford Fusion in to get a slow leak in my tire checked and they were really busy so I jad to wait a few min but when they got to it they where very proffesional in everything they did and even showed me how bad my tire actually was instead of not showing me and just telling me lies like any other shop would do. Long story short ended up getting all 4 tires replaced and a wheel alignment for a great price and when I got my car back it was gliding on the streets and felt so good. Mike was a great help to me and I appreciate his and all his coworkers service to my car.

Great experience, no issues. Needed a tire changed due to a nail and was using my tire and wheel insurance to do so and they made it super easy. After having less than stellar experiences with pep boys and jiffy lube in Astoria, I decided to take my car to MIC Tire Pros about a year ago (originally to repair a flat tire). Upon my first visit they asked me if I’d like to sign up for their free rewards program which granted me a free flat tire fix. After that, I began taking my car in for regular service. Their prices are very reasonable and they all seem to genuinely care, without ripping you off. I’ve gotten regular oil changes (with free tire rotation), suspension work, and brakes done. I recently got an inspection done on my car and they informed me that the bumper/light bulb above the rear license plate was damaged and dangling behind, so it wasn’t illuminating (which I new). They repaired it the best they could, since the bumper was damaged, for no charge. Also, wait times are very reasonable! I’ve never made an appointment and they’ve always been accommodating.

I came in without an appointment, I was taken care of almost immediately even though they were busy. Had a weird noise coming from my car, they diagnosed the problem: turns out my calipers on the back had locked up and were done. The brake pads in the back were completely done, and the rotors in the back were damaged. They put in new calipers, rotors, and brake pads at a total cost $643 with tax included. This was after a 15% discount I get by being a Costco member. The mechanic who took care of me was Hussein, he was very kind and patient in explaining to me the problem and proper maintenance. His father also works there, it's a father/son business. I definitely feel comfortable with them and will be bringing my future car repair work here.

Came to MIC to change my summer tires to winter tires. Just a simple swap. The staff was nice, but they made me wait 2 hours and they installed one tire incorrectly which caused excessive noise over 40mph. I took my vehicle to another shop which corrected the issue. If the staff wasn't friendly I would have rated the shop lower.

Wow is all I can say about M.I.C Tire pros. I went on their website and requested a quote Lawrence the owners son got back to me asap. I called and spoke to him and then stopped by. You cannot ask for a nicer person and company to do business with. He is very informative and he makes you feel very comfortable. He cares about his business. I then placed an order for four Michelin tires and he did his best to work out a really good price with me and the discounts being offered along with their rewards program saved me a ton of money. I came in to change the tires once they arrived from the warehouse and was helped right away. Try to go during the week, way less busier. It took less time then what Lawrence told me and the car drives beautifully. They are Very professional and I would recommend anyone who needs tires or work done in their car to go there. They just don't do autobody work. Wonderful place, wonderful people, Awesome Experience. Definately would go back again.

Took my ML 350 to check my brake pads, I've heard some squealing and thought might be time to replace before I get warning signal. Guys were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I found them on Google and went to them first time,and I will definitely go again. What I appreciate the most is their honesty,they told me my brake pads and rotors are great, so the car making noise on itself sometimes, and didn't charge me anything. I'm sure that other places would take advantage,might replace something with no reason just so they can make some money. I was having a bad day. My car was having issues and I knew I could not hold off on getting the necessary repairs. I had not been to MiC Tire Pros in a while because I was on the West Coast for business the past few months. To my amazement, the Manager behind the Service Desk recognized me! Even before I could say a word, the Manager Michael, greeted me by my name and asked me about my Honda Civic. Michael even knew the work I had done on the car 6 months prior without looking it up on his computer!. From that point on, I knew I was in good hands and my mood completely changed. We chatted for a few minutes about what I thought was wrong with my car. Michael was professional, asking the right questions, then proceeded to take my car keys letting me know that his guys would do a thorough inspection on the car to address my concerns. Not long after, Michael called me with an update. Suffice to say, I was right about the concerns I had with my car. I informed Michael to do the necessary work that he suggested. I trusted his judgment and knew he was not trying to sell me on a repair that I did not need. The next call I received from Michael was to pick up my Honda. Before I left, Michael took the time to show me everything that his team did. I was very grateful. Upon driving my car off the lot, I could immediately notice the difference in the handling, suspension and overall ride of the car. For a while I was convinced I was driving a new car! I first discovered M.I.C. as a City employee. Many of the City agencies send vehicles to this shop for regular maintenance, and I was tasked with dropping of the car here. I was impressed right away with the overall appearance of the place. The folks in charge pay attention to cleanliness, which to me signals a respect for customers. Next, the folks who help you at the service desk speak in complete sentences and will happily and confidently explain exactly what work is recommended and why. Furthermore, they will give you several options and discuss the relative merits of each choice. I don't know of too many NYC car repair shops that can do all this. Because they left such a good impression, I brought my personal car here for a set of new tires. I highly recommend the service at this location.

It’s rare use the words honest and auto mechanic in the same sentence but MIC Tire Pros is just that! Took my CRV in for some nails-on-a-chalkboard grinding from the rear tire. Thought for sure I was in for a brake and rotor job. Have almost 100K on this baby so had the coolant flushed and the plugs replaced too. When I went to pick it up, saw the bill was peanuts. Thought they mis-calculated. Wound up I had a small stone caught between the backing plate and the wheel. Didn’t need brakes at all. I use them for tires and repairs on all my cars. Now you know why. These guys are the BEST!!

Honest people and they know what they're doing, i had noise coming from the belts area on my 2008 jetta and I've gone to dozens of garages and met a lot of mechanics saying I need to change this and that but all failed to pinpoint the actual problem.
