This particular Big O has been my Go To for decades. They NEVER disappoint. They live up to their word and their warranty, courteously and drama free. They go the extra mile. People say we're living in a "service economy." Big O is one of the very few places I know that provides real service, unfailingly, to it's customers. Special thanks to manager Danny Knowles and his crew for going above and beyond today.

This place takes care of its customers. They always seem to end up fixing my flats! They have aired up tires for free and checked and filled my wife’s before too. Never had a bad experience here. Despite nationwide staff shortages, this place seems to be running on all cylinders. I walked in about 12:30 with a nail in my tire. Lucas checked me in, said about 45 minutes. Walked across street to The Fishery (okay, Friday, it was busy) and, before I was done, I got a text that the car was ready. $25 to repair. Lucas said tires (have almost 30,000 miles on them) looked okay. TIP: lots of eateries (MexA Tacos, Momma's BBQ, Lotsa Pasta, Homemade Pies & Ice Cream) within a block of this location.

Do you have extra stars I could add to this place? This place is a gem!!! What great service!! Fast and good as well!! Friendly and lots of shops, restaurants around If you have a longer stay while your vehicle is getting worked on. We had new tires put on last week and enjoyed all of the above , talked about, we needed to have some work done on it. We thought about it for a couple days and wanted them to do the job. With all they offer, guarantee, best service, "Why", why would anyone go anywhere else? Dang good question. They have it going on. Thanks guys for being so great!! From the 2 guys, tires and brakes, one had memory problems from cancer, chemotherapy, and just plain good friends. Now you may know who we are. We loved it all and wouldn't mind having more problems, just to get the job done right the first time and having a good time while we were there. Now that was great service!!!

I don't usually write google reviews but the St. Matthew's Big-O location deserves some huge praise. I ran over a pile of screws on Brownsboro road and immediatly took my truck to a different tire shop to have the screws removed. The shop clearly did not want to deal with my problem, and told me they couldnt get me in for a couple of days. I then drove to Big-O's St. Matthews, having had good experiences with them in the past. When I walked in to Big-O's the man working the desk was extremely polite and understanding and indicated that they could look at my vehicle within 90 minutes. He also agreed to look at my tires to see if they needed rotation. I live nearby so I then walked home. When I picked up my vehicle later, I found out that they had found three screws lodged in two different tires, and that they had plugged/patched all three holes FOR FREE and also rotated my tires FOR FREE. The original gentleman I talked to also caught me before I left and gave me some information about the current wear on my tires and what to look out for moving forward. I just want to express how nice it is to find a business that still cares about their customers, and isn't just trying to find the quickest and easiest way to make a buck. Because of the service I've received, I will return to this Big-O's to buy my next set of tires and recommend them to everyone else I talk to who needs tires. Thanks guys! Will English

I was told about prices, the time that the parts I needed would likely come in, and answered all my questions with patience. They are so helpful and fast! I have AWD and after being told by Goodyear that I couldn’t put a used tire on to replace a flat and that I HAD to buy 4 brand new tires, Dalton at Big O Tires found an exact tread match to my other three tires and saved me about $800! 12/10 would recommend!

My family and I were in town for a baptism when I came out to a flat. This was the closest place to get a tire. The associate showed me tire options/prices in a few short minutes and the install crew had the tire installed in about 15 minutes. This was one of the best experiences that I have ever had getting a tire for a vehicle. If you live near this Big O I highly recommend stopping in for excellent and speedy service!

I was having an ER issue with my tires. I needed them to be put on that day. I called Tom that morning, he was very nice & helpful. Easy to talk with. I explained my situation of my emergency. He was able to find my tires, have them brought to the store within hours. I was at the location by mid day. When I arrived everything was clean while I was treated very kindly. I left my car walked across the street, had a taco and when I walked back into the door my vehicle was ready to go.. I would recommend my friends to come here. Thank you Tom for being so great..

When I called and told them 2 other auto shops couldn't get me in to patch a hole in my tire, they assured me they would be able to see me immediately and fix my tire with no problem. They were 100% correct. It only took them about half an hour to patch my tire, and they didn't charge me. Every person at this location was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back to them for my auto needs.

I've always received great services at this Lexington Road Big O Tires. The first time I went in, while I was at the counter an older gentleman walked up to Ruben and gave him some cash. Ruben smiled and said he didn't have to do that but the gentleman said he insisted. Apparently a few days before the man was short of the funds for some part or something and Ruben had covered it himself. That shows you the level of personal care these guys put into their work. I'm very happy I found this shop. They're always friendly, professional, and do excellent work.

I don't normally do the review thing, but these guys treated me so well I felt they deserved a kind word. Happy that they mounted tires that weren't purchased there. They did try to charge me a higher price than what was quoted to me over the phone but ended up honoring the lower price once I told them. They didn't check anything else however which sucks cause I'm having issues when I brake so it would have been nice to know why.

I didn't even shop around this time. These guys have always taken care of me in a fast and respectful manner, telling me directly what I need and what I don't need. I trust them. Not the cheapest in town, but reasonable prices and great value for what you get. I have lots of respect for a well run business, and this is great example of a well run business.

Recently had my winter tires switched over to summer tires. Most places bang my wheels up since they're low profile tires, but not here. They did a great job switching tires over without damaging my wheels. They also filled the tires up to the right pressures instead of just filling to 35/35 like most places do. I was out in 30 minutes, and I'll be back in the winter for sure.

I was travelling from out of town and ran over a nail, which caused my tire to deflate. I was leaving the same day for my return trip, and stopped by this Big O in St. Matthews. This store was INCREDIBLE and AWESOME. With great assistance from Rueben, they took care of my tire and fixed it within minutes! It was a super triage and this store really impressed me, and they knew I didn't live in the area, so I am not likely to be a regular customer, but Rueben and his team treated me like a truly valued customer. If you live in Louisville, go here for all your tire needs! I really appreciate all they did for me in a pinch.

We bought new tires from this location in May. We chose the Big O brand because they came with a three year replacement warranty. This morning, I bumped over a brick step with one of the tires and it tore the tire in the sidewall. I drove it to Big O, no appointment, just walked in and they had a new tire on the car at NO COST in less than half an hour. Can’t get any better than that!

My dad swore by Big-O 30+ years ago for the quality of their service, dependability, and products. Today (and for years), I swear by Big-O for all these same reasons. Talk about reliability and consistency! Like clockwork, the staff is always helpful, friendly, trustworthy, and knowledgeable - no exceptions. Now that my kids are driving, I take them to Big-O when their cars need tires or service, and I'm sure they'll keep coming back as well. Great job, Big-O - keep doing what you're doing!

I went in there today with a flat tire after hitting a pothole. They took in my vehicle and found that the wheel was actually bent and the tire had a crack in it. They repaired my tire and tried fixing the wheel (it is a custom wheel) but it was too damaged. They apologized that they were not able to do more, put the spare on for me and did not charge me a thing. Great guys at the shop who actually care about their customers.

The staff at this store is polite and has integrity. I'd especially like to recognize Ruben Vincent who has integrity. I had brake work done by a different store (Brakeway) and wanted a second opinion and it turns out the needed work was covered by the warranty I had purchase last year from Brakeway. Mr. Vincent did not try to sell me on doing the work and I appreciated his honesty. It is for this reason I will comeback for any future issues and will recommend this location to my family and friends.

I went there today to get my tire patched. They said it would take an hour but ended up taking 30 minutes, which was great. They fixed it in a timely manner and were very friendly. I went up to pay and Danny told me that normally it cost $26 and had my sign the paper, printed it off and handed it to me. After that he told me to have a good day, so I asked again how much it was. He reiterated that it was normally $26, and I began to pull out cash and he said not to worry about it. I was completely surprised and kept asking if he was sure, and he said yes. I'm sure this gentleman will never know how much that meant to me especially after all of the things I've been going through over the last week. Needless to say, they are great and I will always take my car there.
