I've used this place since I started working in the area 6 years ago. I've always been able to count on them to do good work, at reasonable prices, and in a timely fashion. They are the only shop that receives my business. I trust them so much that I've started commuting my other vehicle to LR so that they can be the ones to service it.

RESOLVED !!! Initially I gave lower rating because of the following reason, but they called me and refunded the amount they charged since because of their miscommunication. I am glad that they are trying to resolve the issue. Issue: My car's AC is not blowing cold air due to the lack of Freon and so I called few days back to check about the price. They told me it will cost around $85 plus tax. It's the same as my dealer charges, so instead of going all the way to the dealer, I dropped my car here since it's closer. But they charged $159.00 and they are saying there is a A/C service Fee added to it. They didn't tell me about that over the phone. I would have gone with my dealer and would have saved $70.00. Never go here again and will not recommend to others as well.

We were two mature women driving from St. Louis to Texas and experiencing loss of air from one of the tires. Called another place from the road and got no answer. Then we called Discount Tire and they were so nice on the phone. When we arrived they went above and beyond changing out the spare for the bad tire. The techs who did the job were the best! We definitely recommend this store.

2/16/22 I have to update my previous review. I respect the fact that Mr. Ken reached out to me personally on what went wrong and how he can make it right. I appreciate his genuineness and concern. I will return. Thank you sir! Good and Bad. First the good. Customer service at the Kanis location was wonderful and the wait time was not bad at all. The bad. Grease and oil prints were left on my door handle, glass, the steering wheel and shifter knob. The next day I noticed excessive wheel play. Decided to check my lug nuts and they were loose on both sides!

My wife and I are in Little rock because our daughter is in the NICU at Children’s Hospital. As were on our way from Fort Smith the brake light came on in our vehicle. By the time we made it to Little Rock it was apparent that there was something very wrong with our brakes, so that night we looked online and saw all the good reviews for discount brake and tire and the next morning we attempted to make it there and we did make it but our wheel bearing had broken and our tire seized. We barely made it. We thought that everything had broken in our suspension system. We’ve had good and bad experiences at different places especially out of town but this was the best experience we’ve ever had so far. Chris and Ron were quick to be very helpful. They gave us a ride to and from the hospital as they fixed our problem which ended up being a lot less costly than we imagined it would be. They did an awesome job letting us know exactly what needed to be fixed to get rolling and gave us a great price. It gave us such peace of mind to know that there’s someone that will do work like this in Little Rock that showcased honesty, integrity and fair pricing. We will be forever grateful for their help and hospitality. We now know where we will go anytime we need assistance with our vehicle while we’re in Little Rock.

I’m adding to this review. My mother went to a big box store to get her tires rotated. The “techs” at that store stripped a lug nut and told her there was nothing to do. Luckily she knew where to go. She was apparently in tears when she went in and Chris and the rest of the team were able to fix the stripped lug, rotate her tires, and calm her down so she could function. Awesome group of people working here. These guys are amazing. The customer service has always been great. I only get maintenance done there a couple of times a year but they always remember me. They go above and beyond to see if they can save you money and they always make sure that you’re completely aware of the reason they are going to perform service. Awesome people. Fantastic work. Always recommend.

AMAZING. As a young woman, I am always intimidated to take my car into places to be serviced. I was recommended these guys by my little sister who needed a tire fixed and came upon Discount Tire and Brake. I went and had my oil changed here and then later came back when I had trouble with my car making a weird noise. They even took me to work when I dropped off my car in the morning. I'm so glad I've found this business - they are perfect for ALL my car needs, not just tires and oil changes, but everything! I used to always take my new cars to the dealership for maintenance and checkups, etc., but have found Discount Tire & Brake on Capital Ave in downtown Little Rock to be the best place to go. They even replace the keyless remote batteries. Customer service is wonderful, they do an exceptional job and are extremely reliable.

My experience with this business was great. I deliver pizza for a living, but had a flat the other day and needed a quick fix. Turns out I had to buy a new tire, and while it was not the cheapest tire I could have found, it definitely could have been worse. It was well worth it considering how well I was treated. Chris is always very helpful and professional. I had a price issue one time on some maintenance work; afterwards the price was more than first quoted. He honored what was initially quoted. To me that displays empowerment and customer satisfaction. Very convenient location which is close to my job. I just want people to know how awesome this place. I had a blow out while headed to the Capitol to hear my granddaughter sing. I was able to get my car to discount tire and they put my front tire in trunk took my back tire off put it on front and put the spare tire on the back. I was there maybe 10 minutes. Chris the manager and staff are provide good customer service and whatever the task maybe it doesn't take long. If ever there's a wait you will be told about it and usually given an explanation if needed. I've purchased tires here and receive my oil change and rotation of tires as scheduled.

Awesome people who will go above and beyond to help out a customer. They are really good about diagnosing the actual problem and not suggesting unnecessary repairs like other places I've been to. Very fair on pricing and will help you out with what they charge if they feel that they've taken too long to get your car done. On both occasions that I went in, I worked with Mike and he was friendly, courteous and a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for help with tires, wheels and alignments (I bought tires, had my bushings replaced and a four-wheel alignment). As long as I'm living in Little Rock, I will go to these guys every time.

The service was great!! They diagnosed the problem with my truck. Replaced a U Joint and the price was fair. Positive, friendly atmosphere, and they had fruit and pretzels for you to snack on while your vehicle is being serviced. I am very pleased with the service and will be a repeat customer!!

These guys are the best! I don't normally give reviews and actually this my first review on a company. I brought my car in with this company and had no clue what the problem was, I went thru bootleg mechanics on the streets giving me all kinds of scenarios! I was out of so much money with people that didn't know what they were doing and didn't care about my problems. I worked a part job at the time and money was hard to come by. I brought my car from a recommendation from a former coworker and that was the best decision I could of ever made. These guys diagnosed the problem for FREE and kept my car as I made payments on it, I didn't have the money up front. I mean.... I don't know about you, but how many companies does that??? They literally kept my car for almost six months until I paid it off! Chris and David are great guys and willing to go beyond to help you. Trust me.... you can't go wrong with these people! Wish I could've gave 10 stars! Also, the mechanics did a great job, car drives better than before!

Went in to have 4 brand new tires put on!!! Was excpecting to spend at least $450 but it was only $380!!! Very professional politesse honest men. They work hard to keep their customers happy. I brought my mom's car into Discount Tire on JFK to have a flat fixed and they did it very quickly and did not charge her anything. Since then, I have brought in her car, my car, and our family truck for brakes and other automotive issues. I've always been pleased with the service, and the employees are always polite and helpful. They will even give you a ride to work and come back and get you when your car is ready. The prices are reasonable and the service is amazing. I highly recommend this company.

I came to Discount Tire and Brake to get a set of new tires and brakes this week (10/1/19). Not only was I taken care of, but the staff went above and beyond to make the process as seamless as possible! Ciafre and Chris at the front counter were very professional and explained the work that was required, presented me with options of every sort, and simplified the explanation of the procedures to be performed. Finally, to top it off, Marvin gave me a ride to AND from my house while my car was being worked on. He did not have to give me a ride! I had planned to stay there for 3-4hrs while my car got worked on. The staff overall made my experience better than great! I will be back!

The team @ the Capitol store is awesome I originally ordered tires from the kanis location due to the staff having covid my tires were not delivered my husband contacted the store on Capitol the owner were made aware of the situation him and the management staff on Capitol didn't stop till they located all 4 of my tires a week later.That didnt solve my problem once the tires were installed leaving the shop I noticed a noise coming from the front of my car we took the car back they put the car on the rack this was my 1st time purchasing Michin tires which we found out have more rubber on their tires but the tires was the same size so that shouldnt made a different I was very unhappy I had just spent a thousand dollars on some tires now my car making noise the owners was willing to refund my money which wasn't his fault I ordered the tires they (his store) put them on they did their job I respect him for even considering to give my money back that says alot bout the kind of person he is and the type of business he run. After a night of researching I found out I needed spacers I have had this car 3 years 4 set of tires and no one else told me I needed spacers I never noticed the noise before because the tires I was purchasing were loud when rolling and I paid the front noise no attention. Best customer service ever!! Our family was on a road trip from Illinois to TX and we had a leaking valve stem on one tire. After being told our car would have to wait til noon (it was 8am) to be fixed at Firestone, Chris at Discount Tire was able to get our car right in and replaced the valve stem in less than 10 minutes. Yesterday June 12, 2017 I called inquiring about tires for my Toyota Camry. I spoke with Chris who was patient and took out time with me by phone to price about 4 brands of tires and alignment. As I was babbling along about my car and what I think it needed he told me "Hey, why don't you bring your car in and let me take a look at it and lets figure out together whats going to be the best things for your car". We agreed Saturday morning I would bring the car in. Well, I was so impressed by his courtesy I decided I would take my car in today June 13th and get my car serviced. Upon arrival I was greeted by Chris and David. Not just great customer by phone but in person too. I have been so WOWed by these two guys I agreed I will continue to bring my vehicles to them to have them serviced going forward. Customer service is not what it used to be anymore. I could not be happier with the way I was treated. I visited this establishment on Saturday to have them check something that was loose or not running right with my alignment. They did an alignment and then an oil change and I left. Unfortunately the car was running worse when I left so I turned around and went back. A gentleman drove the car and said "I will definately figure out what is going on". He put the car back on the lift and 20 minutes later came back and told me that some work I had previously had done was done incorrectly. Apparently Daryl at Daryl's auto body shop in Rose City had changed the lower control arm on my car and not screwed the bolt back in which was causing my car do fishtail when I hit a bump almost losing control on the interstate. I have two small children that is not cool. I was irrate. But thanks to the gentleman at Discount Tire and Brake on Capitol Avenue, my car is driving safely. They realigned it at no extra charge and got me back on the road. I intend to take all of my business to them in the future! Thank you guys! You're the best! I now feel safe driving my vehicle with my two children in the car.

I liked that this place is the highest rated in little rock. I was skeptical at first but I read other reviews and said why not? I got there to rotate my tires and Chris was the guy that helped me. Very friendly guy and service was excellently quick and cheap. Doesn't try to upsale like others in the little rock area. Not even from the area but I know the place to go to now if I ever have problems. One more thing, I wish they would've diagnosed my engine problem. My entire acura is coded, even the engine!! Chris said I'd have to go to an acura dealership or Honda. Overall though, the greatest!

It was a Monday, all I needed was to see the psi level for 1 tire way lower than it should have been. I had to be somewhere in 20, so the guys topped off my tire with air and "come back and see us". I typically use their NLR location, however, they dealt with my being short and owed it to them to let them take care of my car. I got a quote for 4 (and not 2 like my husband thought I should have done), got them ordered and said "I'll be back in the morning for the mount and balance." Took my car back on Tuesday and had the work done. The guys up front gave me a print out of my balance with numbers all over it, and told me that I would need to get that done before too long. They also gave me the brochures for road side assistance with numbers that I could call no matter where I was at, since I travel between AR and FL several times a year. Not only does their NLR location take care of my vehicle outside normal visits to my dealer, their downtown LR location took care of me this week. I sent a single-mother friend to the downtown LR location about a year ago. She had been having trouble with a flat tire, the same tire, every 2-3 days. She'd taken it to her dealer and a couple of repair shops to no avail, and her guy friends told her it sounded like the valve. I sent her to Discount Tire & Break downtown, since she worked downtown & they would take her back to work if need be, and I told her they were not going to mess around with her. They were going to treat her honestly and not gouge her with a price. Guess what. It was the valve, and DT&B took care of her! Thanks guys!

Very honest, courteous, and straightforward. No up selling! Thomas and Chris run the type of establishment you feel comfortable bringing your car into. Plus, the facility is actually CLEAN! The prices are very fair. They WILL give fixing flats a try that other shops will immediately dismiss without proper examination (such as sidewall nails). Also do service on foreign cars.
