Discount Tire is a reliable company as a whole, nationwide. (I've been a customer of theirs since I started driving 19 years ago.) They have competitive prices, and speedy service. This particular location is excellent! The shop is clean, and the staff has the professional touch. Bill, Eric, and Cruz were my points of contact over the phone and in-person -- a top-notch team! They all knew the products and current coupons, and they all knew how to advise me reactively (when I asked) and proactively (when I seemed unsure). I would recommend this store to anyone, but especially women, who are often mistreated in the automotive industry. This is a square house, and they will treat you with respect.

6/25/2022 Cruz and Nick plus staff where very attentive professionals and communicative. I arrived early and once on the rack being number one it took them 15 or 20 minutes to mount five tires. I was amazed how fast I was in and out. Cruz gave me a great veterans discount and great price and a 10 year guarantee on my tires. Of course I paid $20 per tire extra but no one else in the city could come close to that kind of guarantee. Also I noticed how polite Nick was to the incoming customers. They had a great team can’t wait to go back. Thank you guys appreciate your excellent service. The young lady who was the sales person met me at the door. Outstanding with explanation of your programs. The manager when it was appropriate took his employee a side and in a respectful manner trained the young lady. I'm thankful this discount tires is only a few blocks from where I live. Was in need of air in my tires badly and it was honestly by accident I discovered this place. They had someone with a machine to check and fill to your specs. There was about 4 cars ahead of me getting air but this person's only job was tire pressure. And the line went quickly. The agent that helped me was friendly and even did a visual inspection on the lowest pressure tire. Looking for nails and such. I have only gotten air here but the experience was so good that if I need tires this will be the first place I consider because of how friendly and eager they were to help someone just needing air. Excellent first impression. Thank you again for helping me with my low tires.

I was visiting from California and had a blowout. I came there because the location was close. Great customer service by one of the employees named Cruz. He explained everything about tires to me and recommended the best set of tires. He explained the tire insurance protection plan which i purchased. Gave me the insurance 800 number and explained that i would be covered in California as well. He recommended a new spare tire and explained why i needed another one. He offered the credit card as an option to pay. I declined but still he was great. Im sure i wont ever see you again, but Thanks Cruz. Customer service goes a long way.

I have been coming to this location for close to a year to get air put in a damaged tire (I couldn’t afford a new tire). Today I got new tires. The guys have been amazing to me the entire time! Eric M helped me get a quote and schedule an appointment. Damian and the other Eric helped me get my new tires! Honestly…the best customer service I’ve seen in a long time.

Tire light came, went to just put air in tire. Ask if it would take me back home. 372 miles from my home. I was suggested to get it looked at by the air tire person. He found a nail buried deep in my tire. Glad I took his advice. It took 2.5 hrs to get back on the road but it would have been longer on the side of the road waiting on a service truck. Thanks guys for getting me back on the road.

Second time at this location, only this time it’s my car that needs taken care of. Tires are running bad and got a nail on back tire. Went ahead and changed all tires anyway. Happy with the service they provided! Super quick and easy process! Not bad pricing(under $1k for my 2013 Hyundai Veloster base model) with labor and warranty also free balancing and rotation. Schedule your appointment before showing up, it’s faster that way.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize the Assistant Manager, Cruz. Despite this location being very busy he keeps his cool with the non stop phone calls, walk-ins, and issues with customers. I felt like he really was empathetic to my situation, especially at 35 weeks pregnant. He still wanted to provide support should I had any issues at Carmax. He was super personable yet professional, and I can tell this energy passes down to other employees as well.

I had a great experience at the location on Maryland parkway my appointment was at 10:00 the car was in the stall about 10:30 the normal time to replace four tires with all the time it took I believe I was out about 11:30 I was very happy everyone was very polite a nice clean waiting room no pushy sells people. I don’t normally take time to write reviews, however, today I felt Eric needed a shoutout. I had a very inconvenient start to my morning before I even noticed I had a flat tire when leaving my work office. I work out of my car so this was not conducive to my plan for my day. After waiting almost 3 hours for a tow I asked the tow truck driver to bring me to the nearest Discount Tire instead of the dealership. My boyfriend called ahead to let them know I was coming in and he spoke to Eric on the phone. Eric greeted me with kindness and great energy even during what seemed to be “rush hour”. He was approachable and pleasant to talk to. He looked at my tire and gave me hope it was just going to be a repair, which it was. Free of cost and here I thought I would be paying a $200 bill for a new tire. I asked if he accepted any form of gratuity and he said it was okay but to just come back for any future services, which I most certainly will. I felt that wasn’t enough though so I was compelled to leave this review. After a very difficult morning Eric was my “saving grace” for the day with simply just being a nice person, positive attitude and a joy to interact with. When it comes to customer service he knows what he’s doing. Thank you for assisting with turning my day around Eric. I’ll be back to get new tires, hopefully not due to another flat.

The employees and managers are always so friendly and helpful. Whenever I go get my air checked for my tire pressure they always check all four tires. They not only check the air, but also check and let me know if I might need new tires soon or if I need to get one patched. They make recommendations based on personal experiences and other sales, but they never get pushy on making you feel obligated to pay for new tires right away if you don't necessarily need them yet. They will text or call if you leave while they work on your car to let you know when it's ready. They have a great lifetime warranty as well and do free tire patching as long as it doesn't get to a certain area where it would have to be replaced. Definitely go there instead of paying somewhere else! It's always a great experience whenever I need to go.

They got the job done. No issues thus far. However they certainly don't give minorities a warm welcome. I noticed the demeanor was off. Upon my arrival. I was spoken to after the other person walked in. However I was in the store and was noticed first. Then was walked passed before for them to greet the caucasian person in the building. Then upon Then taking my keys I was asked if I could come up to do my paperwork I noticed immediately they asked for my payment meanwhile many others were there for tires and seemed they charged had the minorities to pay up front before having their car completed or started. Which I didn't have a problem with paid my balance in full however I just thought it was a strange. I come to Discount all the time. I normally dont get charged until my car is done in case they see something else I want to add. The demeanor was certainly different comparatively to certain people inside the store, now I will not say they didn't do a good job they certainly did and I really do appreciate it however however it was a different vibe for different colored customers with different staff.

Cruz is awesome! He is the best example of what customer service should look like for any establishment. He was well aware of all of the policies. He helped me get a blown tire replaced for just $70 as he was aware of the proration I was deserved of. He also was able to offer me the warranty that I should have gotten to begin with less than a month after I purchased the tires from Discount Tire.

Nick was great! Everyone was professional and the work was done as described in a timely fashion. They even balanced my two older tires that I was keeping on the vehicle and Nick got me a discount that essentially scored me a free set of wiper blades. Great service and great people. I would definitely recommend Discount Tire on Maryland Pkwy and Twain.

Bought a full set of tires from Discount Tire back in my home state a few years ago. I'd been having issues with one of them for weeks, not holding air. Brought it in here to be checked out. Reese was so friendly and patient even though the shop was VERY busy! He and the team fixed the issue, rotated my tires and got me on my way quickly! The best part? It was all covered under warranty! These guys are always so personable and technically top notch! Hearing them interact with other people while I was waiting showed that they really care about each and every one of their customers. I would definitely recommend them to everyone, but especially people like me who aren't technically savvy. The issue with my tire and the fix were explained clearly to me! They rescued us when we had a tire emergency with our rental car. There we are with a flat tire on a car from the worst rental company. The rental company was going to charge us $250 because we got a flat tire and don't have the additional insurance. Salvador Hernandez was so friendly on the phone when we called, he expedited our situation and we were back on the road in less than two hours with no extra charges from the rental company. For tire issues in Las Vegas, I will only go to the team at Discount Tire.

Get the insurance/warranty. It's worth the extra $7.50 per tire. It covers repairs, rotation, and balancing. If your tire isn't able to be repaired you can purchase a replacement for much less than a new one 7 years ago when I bought my new car I drove off the lot and 20 minutes late I got a screw in my tire. I drove over to discount tires to get it fixed and they let me know I could warranty the tires (on my new car) even though I didn't purchase them there. Truly a one of a kind business.

Whenever your tire pressure light comes on you can just pull in the area they have designated for pressure checks and you don't have to get out of your car. Check website for promos and they have their own credit card for purchases.

This is truly the best tire store we have ever purchased tires from. Jose went out of his way to locate tires for my Tesla X. He followed up when the tires came in to set up our appointment and Jeff their amazing manager helped answer many of our questions. It is true when they say things start from the top. I was in the area when my tire started to lose air so I Yelp'd the closest Discount Tire and made my way there. I was in / out in an hour and 15 minutes. The workers were all nice and friendly despite of some angry customer (thinking people were cutting in front of them) but they did not stand in line to check in. :( The workers handled that situation like a champ. I used to go to the Oceanside location in San Diego and glad that there's Discount Tire's in Las Vegas. Thank you for repairing my tire (for free.) I will definitely return when I need to purchase new tires for my Coco.

Great Experience! Flat repair, rotation/balance on 5/3. I had nursed the flat for a while, but it just wouldn't hold air anymore. They checked for leaks and there were none. After leaving that day, the check tire light never went out, and one of the tires still looked a little low. I drove around on it a couple days, but decided to take it back, if nothing else, to get the light reset. The tire was definitely low, they did another leak check and found no leaks, so did a thorough tire inspection. The valve was a little loose - so they fixed it. The check tire light went off almost immediately after I pulled out onto the road! :)

Went into this place this morning and the guy was nice enough to figure out the key I needed for my gorilla lock lug nuts and gave me the tool to get my car up on all 4s. Then I brought my car in to replace the flat.. Jose helped me out and I got a credit of like $87 because the tread on my tire was still decent.. This is because I bought the tires from them and have their pro rated insurance on each tire.. Anyway, I digress.. Guys changed my flat in no time.. Wait was about an hour as expected.. And when I checked the trunk (which was a total mess when I brought it there) had everything properly and neatly tucked away... These guys are absolutely fantastic and I would highly suggest going here for tire problems!!

While visiting family in Vegas, I got a flat. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. They found nothing wrong with my tire, but continued to check things out, and discovered corrosion on the rim was causing the air to leak. They cleaned my rim then checked my other tires to ensure they were safe for my return drive... and didn't charge a thing! I would recommend them to anyone!

I bought 4 tires for my truck 5 yrs ago at this store as I don't drive the truck all the time I didn't need much service on them but when I did want to get them rotated and have a slow leak fixed I tried to get it done at the store on Nellis I was less than pleased the guy gave me the run around and I didn't have a lot of time so I left. Then I tried a couple of more times to get the leak fixed to no avail. Finally I went back to this store and just wanted the tires rotated and they didn't want to do that because the leaky tire was wore funny and now didn't have enough tread for them to do it . I started to have a fit but then the guy told me he could find me another tire and fix my problem, I was very grateful

We just purchased a new (to us) 2016 4Runner that had gorgeous new BIG tires on it, but the owner must not have been picky about balancing because it was badly in need of adjustment. Arms shaking like crazy at 50mph to 65mph. I usually only work with Les Schwab in the NW so was reticent to take it anywhere else but knew the shake would drive us nuts on the 1,000+ mile drive home. These guys are great. They fixed my tire quickly, and pointed out the same thing the AAA Guy did when he came to fix my flat: cracking of tree tires die to Las Vegas crazy heat. They pointed out that there was still a lot of tread on the tires and that I'd purchased them less than 4 years ago, so I'd be entitled to a rebate. They pointed out similar Michelin replacement tires, but also suggested slightly less expensive Yokohama tires which were manufactured to be more resustant too the heat. No hard sell when I said I wanted to discuss with my son before I decided.
