Oak Creek Automotive is AWESOME! First of all, I prefer taking my vehicle to a private car repair shop. Developing a relationship means you learn what to expect and count on. UPDATE: Oak Creek Automotive fixed my vehicle's front end; ball joints, stabilizing bars, alignment and reattached my CV drive axle. OCA even completed a Supplemental Damage report for my insurance company. The insurance company accepted the parts and labor costs as submitted. My vehicle steers perfectly now. I couldn't be happier with OCA...!!! Oak Creek Automotive has fair prices and they only recommend what actually needs fixing. Safety on the road is very important to them. From the first phone call to recent repairs, they earned all of my vehicle repair business. The amount of business they do daily is a testament to their honesty and service.

I came in today to get an emissions test and they were very busy. The young woman with blonde hair was cracking out the clients. Obviously she had to take a break and another young man then took over. Although it was a long line he did a great job at getting the clients out as quickly as possible. I think it's very important to note that there was a very long line of people but these employees did a great job and were extremely efficient. I went to 2 different places that did not do emissions although it said they did on their website before being referred to Oak Creek Automotive. If you can just be patient they will take care of you as quickly as possible. Not to mention the other employees that were also working on vehicles. To me it didn't seem longer then 15 minutes. For the young man and lady doing the emissions with line at least 10 deep....they did a FANTASTIC job!!!!

I went to get my emissions test done. It was a bit of a wait but it went by quick. The woman performing the service was nice and efficient. I love that it was a woman doing her thing in a room full of men. The other employees were nice and helpful as well.

On Monday Nov 1st we encountered a flat tire on a family members vehicle during the late afternoon hours and we were in a pretty big bind as far as timing was concerned. We called several places for tire repairs in the surrounding area and we were met with over-booked and several hour delayed excuses by every place we called. Then I called this place, and we were very pleased at their willingness to help us on such a short notice! Once we got to the shop, we could clearly see they were very busy with other customers but they took the time to help us as well. In all, the owners/staff were very kind and accommodating to us and got us back on our way in no time. A huge thanks to everyone there for your help!

Just want to say, if you own a 2011 F150 3.5L Ecoboost and it's giving you a cold start rattle noise, I highly recommend go to Oak Creek Automotive team to get it fixed ASAP. They definitely know how to do the whole timing chain job correctly.

Came in with a nail in my tire late in the afternoon and they were more than willing to help out and get Me back on the road in no time for a super reasonable price. They are also very good for emission testing In a time when many shops have stopped doing it.These are honest, hardworking people who understand their customers and treat them right. While the shop itself is no Taj Mahal and the location may have tight parking at times, they will do the work right and not try screw you on price. Try getting that at a dealership! I went in to get my emissions test and they did an amazing job. I say this because most places who test emissions aren't open as late as Oak Creek Automotive is. It's helpful for people who work first shift and don't want to necessarily take off early to get the test. There was a little bit of a line but the guy testing popped thru the people at about 5 minutes a piece. That's getting your car, testing it and occasionally answering coworkers questions. So 5 stars, 2 thumbs up and whatever compliments I can give.

I went for front brakes and a serpentine belt. What I got was a pleasant surprise. Bobby and his crew are good, too good. In a time when businesses are losing money and shutting down, they are thriving and I know why. Like I said, I went in for brakes and a serpentine belt, the honest mechanics (Dan and David) could have just changed the brakes and charged me, but they didn't they checked them out and said they were fine, changed the belt and gave me an oil change. I'm forever grateful to the staff, and I even enjoyed the conversation and company of the other customers ☺️. Great place, great people, and great, professional, friendly atmosphere. They seem to be the only place that is willing to do emission testing these days! I had to wait in line to get my test done, but they were moving very quickly. The great thing is when I pass my test I was able to pay my renewal fee and get my sticker and leave. I would definitely give them a try!

They offer emissions testing for more hours and days than others. I knocked on the office door and was greeted by two men, who working and took a second to acknowledge my presence. One man kindly guided me to pull in, quickly did the test, offered to complete registration there and backed my car out safely.

This is our new favorite automotive place to go for oil changes, rotations, everything we need for a 13-yr old car and a brand new jeep. I had a great experience. I called on a referral and can see why my regular mechanic would recommend this shop when he's backed up with work. They were able to get a mechanic to test drive and diagnose my issue quickly despite being backed up and took care of what turned out to be a minor issue while I waited. When a shop executes on the little things, explains their work in plain English, and goes out of their way to help a customer, I feel good about working with them, and I trust my regular mechanic's word on the quality of their work.

I have been going to Oak Creek Automotive for 20+ years. To say they are a mechanic's mechanic is in understatement. I am a shade tree mechanic and normally service my own vehicles. However, there are some things I need done that I don't have time or the equipment for. The also service all my work trucks. Never once have they let me down. And they stand by their work. I had a seal replaced in the rear axle of a work van and started to leak again. They fixed it, no charge. I've even thrown them some curve balls. Took a truck in that had a wobble and we were leaving the next day on vacation. As usual, they hit it out of the park. 4 new tires, rear shocks, rear brakes, and a front end alignment. We were on the road by 3pm the next day! They are fair and they are honest. I don't what more you could want out of a mechanic. And if your reading reviews, take the older negative ones with a grain of salt. I was just there today and there are a lot of new faces.

I was heading from Chicago to Green Lake Wisconsin when my radiator hose broke. I was heading to go DJ a wedding and needed to get there. With not much time to drive around, before the engine would over heat and be undriveable, I was able to make it over to Oak Creek Automotive. Beforehand google led me to a mechanic shop that did not exist! I was lucky to make it to Oak Creek but only to find they are closed on the weekends. However Art just so happened to be working on cars and I was able to at least arrange for my car to be fixed by Monday. He realized I wasn't from around there and I needed to get home to my family before Monday. He came in on his off day to fix my car on Sunday and was able to pick it up on my way from Green Lake back to Chicago. I couldn't of been more grateful, being in a vulnerable spot I could of easily been taking advantage of cost wise to get the repairs but the price was more than fair. It was a long weekend but Oak Creek saved me from traveling back and forth to get my car. Thank you so much!!

There were three people in line ahead of me, but Denise was efficient and friendly, and got us in and out in no time flat! For a small fee, you can also get your registration and sticker immediately! Beats the heck out of the DMV anyday...

I had a water pump replaced a year ago with Oak Creek Automotive and they did a great job while offering really great prices. You're always hesitant on an unfamiliar local garage, but I can tell you first hand these guys are very honest and have great customer service along with great prices. I had a slow leak on one of my tires today and they managed to help me on the spot while they were swamped with work on a very busy Monday. It ended up being the seal on the tire, but they replaced the valve for good measure and charged me a third of what I was quoted from a local tire shop. If that's not all-star service I don't know what is. I will be taking both my used and leased vehicles there from now on.

Relatively quick emissions testing, and professional. Wait time is approx 10 min per test. For those curious about covid precautions here, none of the employees were wearing PPE, including the person driving the cars in and out doing the emissions testing.

Went for a emissions test people say it takes to long what do you expect they have a auto repair business to run plus do state emissions testing it's not going to be a five-minute wait it's more like 15 or 45 wait .. it is what it is get used to it there are not many places that do emissions testing anymore for whatever reason thank God they still do so don't complain about the wait time

Dealership quoted me $1000 to fix my check engine light for ECV valve was going to charge me 400 in parts and over 600 in labor. Took it in to Oak Creek automotive and found out it was a 250 dollar job parts and labor max. Dealerships are scammers, this place has always been honest and good service from my personal experience.

Recently purchased a used vehicle that had been involved in a collision and wanted to have the car inspected. They were kind enough to fit me into their busy schedule and look over the car at my time of test drive. Only reason why my review is a 4 instead of a 5 is because I'm not sure how thorough they inspected. After purchasing the car and doing a detailed inspection myself, I found one of my lower control arms was cracked half way through and needed to be replaced. I would use these guys again if I was on a dime, just would maybe ask to be there for the inspection as well. Thanks again!
