This place is fantastic! Great service, great prices, can’t be beat. My first time here a mechanic sent me because he couldn’t figure out exactly what was wrong with my car and he thought an alignment would help. The guy at Monterrey rode in my car & diagnosed the real problem (a cracked axle) in a matter of minutes. He even took me under the car to show me where it was broken and explain it to me. He could have still tried to tell me I needed an alignment as well but he said I didn’t need it! When a mechanic tells me I don’t need something done on my car that I would have easily paid for they automatically earn points for honesty in my book. Not only did he fix my car, but they did a fantastic job & it cost WAY less than any other mechanic was quoting me. I go here now for all of my tire needs & am always satisfied!

I just left another tire shop in Tomball. After replacing 2 tires, my car was shaking. I called Monterrey because they said they were open until 8pm. It was 7:15pm when I called. I figured the gentleman would tell me to make an appointment to come tomorrow. Not at all, Luis said come on by, you don’t need an appointment. I came by at 7:45pm. It turns out the previous tire company put my tire on backwards! Luis and Arnold fixed it without complaining. They had me out of there by 8:06pm. I will be doing all my tire shopping here from this point forward. The staff is exceptional honest and just amazing! Thank you two for turning my day around! I would give 10 stars if I could!!

Wow. Exceptional customer service, quick work and fair pricing. I pulled in immediately and they diagnosed and got to fixing things. Had to get a tire patched and plugged. Tech explained and showed me everything before the work. Then when he was done he went around all 4 tires to double check them and increase their pressure with the cold weather coming in. I stopped by to get a tire balance and learned the tires I had were trash. The staff worked with and was very knowledgeable. They had up and running with 2 used good tires and have traveled over a thousand miles since that. Service was friendly and they have many bays so didn't even have to wait long

Goated. That’s all I’ll say. I’ve been bringing my heavily modified car here for a long time. Anytime I’ve needed anything they always make it happen. Flat, changing over wheels, tire rotation and balance, they do it all at a high level. Best of all is that the pricing is fantastic and extremely competitive. Can’t say enough about this spot.

Needed a patch on one of my tires. They helped me immediately, checked the pressure on all tires, found the low one, took it off, found a nail in it, patched it, and put it back on in under 10 min. Got charged $15. Such a good experience.

This place was great. The service I received was excellent. I went in for a wheel alignment and I was a little worried about going there, because I didn't know what to expect. When I drove away from the shop and drove my car for a while I felt they did a great job. My car is now driving straight and I don't feel the pulling to the left that I was experiencing. And it was only for $72.00. I think it was a great deal. Is less expensive than Firestone and any other commercial shops i checked.

Best tire shop, hands down. Called this morning to check on availability, they looked it up quickly, told me the best time to come. When I got there they walked me to the selection of tires that were clearly pre priced with cost and labor so you know you’re not being scammed for being a girl. Had a flat tire on a Sunday from a nail. First point of being awesome was getting me in. They also showed me exactly where the nail went in and why it wasn't repairable. They took me back and showed me my tire options and explained the options. As a woman, it can be hard finding places that do those things. I appreciate that and their speed. Highly recommend!

I lived in the neighborhood for years and my folks would always use this tire shop. Read a few great reviews about this place on a few sites. So I then decided to stop by & have my back tires looked at. Really appreciate the service here. I was able to come in and get two used tires. The whole process was quick and thorough. Also didn't have to wait long & the price was perfect. The stock of tires is huge they should have your tire. They can also align the suspension if needed. They even have a 90 day payment option no credit needed. I would suggest visiting when needed during the morning hours because it's not very busy. By the way you also have to walk in the shop to get to the office. Its easy to find because it sits in the middle of the building. Thank you so much to the staff! I will return soon for my future new pair on all four tires.

Fantastic service! Needed a punctured tire patched. Pulled up and they got started right away. They were done in 20 minutes! A name brand tire shop would likely have you make an appointment, put you in a queue hours long, or tell you to pick up the next day. I will be going nowhere but here to get any flats fixed from now on! EDIT: I wrote this review before checking out because I was already completely satisfied with the service. Then I got the price l, and I'm even more pleased! Way less than I was expecting! Leave a good tip because you'll likely still pay less than a chain tire shop!

If you are seeking tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) service or tire sensor replacement, they can do it for you. No appointment necessary. I had 2 sensors replaced in 20 min. Rates are $100 for 1, $180 for 2, or $360 for 4. Very affordable with quick service, and friendly staff!

I went on a Sunday. Most shops are closed and it seemed to start getting busy. it was my first time being there. I was there for an hour. I waited in the car until someone attended me. It was a quick and easy fix. I wish i remember the employees name because he did a great job as well as informing me and speaking to me in the process. I would definitely recommend.

Wow I can’t give them enough stars! My car was pulling and I called at 10:00 am to see about an appointment. They said come by they were able to see me and literally had me in 4 new tires in 45 minutes. The technician was honest the business was clean but above all they have warranty on the tires they sell. I never write reviews but felt this company is deserving of a good word! Luis helped me get a couple used tires. I was hesitant but on a tight budget, he explained some things, let me look at the tires myself. I ended up out the door with 2 like new (seriously) top of the line truck tires for less than $250. In and out in less than 45 minutes. Very organized inventory, all wearing face mask and super CLEAN. I will never go elsewhere! Great place, if you have nice wheels they are very careful with them. I have forged wheels with a custom finish, and Alvaro did a very good job making sure they were perfect. In and out, in about 20 minutes. This is the second time I have been here and excellent service each time. I learned today that I can add gratuity for the tire guys on my credit card - they need it, and they earn it.

Forget Discount Tire and any other similar place. This is literally the best place in town to get anything tire related, from new ones to service and fixes on the older ones that you might already own. Got a screw stuck in my tire while driving through the Heights. Drove in 10 minutes to closing and was greeted very nice and willing to repair my tire. Very clean fast and efficient. Social distancing and staff all wore masks. I would recommend this place. Open from 7am to 8PM.

You can only expect amazing service from Monterrey!! Louis, I think he's a manager--if not, he should be--absolutely goes above and beyond. He also gives great, honest advice. Not only that, but their prices are extremely reasonable. It's the only place I'll go for tires and the other services they offer (no oil, but they do brakes, straps, and some other minor things).

They close at 8pm and still honored me at 7.50pm. Patched my tire up for $10. I feel ashamed that I made the dude work past his hours and paid so little. Wonderful family owned business and I will be going back. 11/10 would recommend

I had a slow leak in my tire and since my regular shop was closed, I tried these guys. A flat tire waits for no one and I have learned the hard way not to put these kinds of things off for long. No way! There were plenty of open bays for working on tires. I explained my rear passenger was the one with a leak and he got to work on it right away. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. I drive up at about 9:30 am and althought I didn't have to wait, I would probably expect a possible wait during lunchtime or other peak times. About 4 additional clients pulled up during my wait if that tells you anything. Once my tire was plugged and the rim was back in place, the guy even checked the pressure and topped up the rest of my tires as needed. Great service and a very reasonable price to fix my sad tire!! I gave him a few bucks in appreciation. This review being written in Dec. 2020, it was nice to see every member of the staff wearing their masks and wearing them correctly. Not a big deal to everyone but it definitely matters to me. I recommend these guys! My uncle and dad used to go out of their way to head to this shop but I almost forgot about these guys as I was previously on the other side of town. This is a very well established shop that has been in the same spot for years and years. Not your fly by night rinky dink little tire joint. The shop is directly next to the Heights HEB so it gives you the perfect chance to kill 2 birds with one stone while you are out and about!

Always fast service. I've been before for tire patches. But today I came on a Sunday afternoon and they installed a battery in my truck. I had bought the battery at Pep Boys and after waiting +40 minutes for Pep Boys to install it, I left and came to Monterrey Tire. This shop has consistently great customer service and very knowledgeable service providers. They are open every day and there is usually little to no wait. They saved my wife and I a ton of money on her TPMS sensors. We were told by another shop that all four sensors would have to be replaced. Monterrey did a secondary assessment and discovered that one of the sensors was the wrong type, causing the whole system to fail. One sensor swap and one quarter of the price later, and the system is working perfectly! I'm getting 4 new tires for my Ram there this week, and they were very patient with a few questions and requests that I had. This is a great small business and deserves your money much more than a big chain tire store.

I had a slow leak in my tire. I needed to get back home but it seemed to be getting worse. I brought it over to MTC and Fransisco took care of me. He was very informative kind and knowledgeable about what was going on. Most importantly he let me watch and also explained that this patch should hold but given the location he couldn’t promise. I appreciate honesty and they are also very reasonable. Total of 20 minutes I was in my way. Would go to them again in the future. No appointment needed but I called just in case. I've known them for years and even though I no longer live in the neighborhood, I will drive across town to get service from them. They do charge to check the tires and other places normally don't, but it's only a couple of dollars and at least I trust them.They are very reliable and dependable. By the way...the managers are women, I think, not men like another reviewer posted. I've known of the family for years (don't know them, know of them).

Always love finding honest places. I’ve gotten 4 tires in the last 3 years, a few air fill ups $2, and a tire patch. Always quick and reliable. I’ve had no issues with the tires other than a few minor leaks but that is expected when you run over all the debris on Houston roads. Will continue going here.

Excellent customer service and pricing. Have been taking both cars here for the past 2 years. They do great alignment and tire balancing. Also they do brake pad and rotor replacement however brake fluids have to be done elsewhere.

NTB told us the tire was busted and could not be fixed. They tried to tell my wife they would need 3 hours at least to replace it (this is the midtown location). She thankfully said no and we took the car here. They checked the tire and it had an obvious screw in it. They patched it up, removed the spare and put the tire on the car for us in about 20 minutes. Cost us just $10, and they gave us a $10 coupon for an alignment, so broke even. Really nice people, super patient and professional. Made my day.

Great tire place, they truly fix your tire problems. I would not let them work on anything else though. I took my car there to get my breaks done & they started screeching everytime I back up. I took it back to there mechanic who worked on them and he did not own up to it and wouldn't fix them. He said that the roter on the passenger side had a bad patch & needed to be changed. As I advised him my breaks were not doing that until he worked on them. He said it was nothing he could do & I would to pay $300 to have him replace both roters. I say again ONLY LET THEM DO WORK ON YOUR TIRES!

Really good experience. I have a AWD vehicle and had a sidewall puncture on one wheel. All the other wheels still had plenty of life and I didn't see a reason to buy 4 new tires. Monterrey took care of me - they helped me find one tire that matched the level of wear on the good tires and 15 minutes later I was back on the road!

Seems like anytime it floods in Houston, I'm bound to get a flat. These guys have pulled half a dozen nails from my tires over the years. There is rarely a wait, the patch costs $12, and takes about 15-min. A flat is not nearly the headache with these guys around the corner.

I have now taken two cars to Monterrey Tire and couldn't be happier with their work and prices. On my first car, they were able to balance the tires correctly after the place I purchased the tires from couldn't. If it wasn't for Monterrey tire, I was about to start unnecessarily replacing suspension parts to fix a vibration. My second car was a simple flat fix and tire rotation - but I really appreciated that they adjusted the tire pressure after the rotation.
