This particular Discount Tire never disappoints. Staff is always friendly, very informative, fast and efficient. I always come here for my tire rotation and balance. The app is definitely worth downloading and using to schedule appointments for any service you need done to your vehicle. To all staff members, thank you for everything you do. To the Discount Tire executives and upper managers, please give your employees a raise, a promotion, a bonus or something! Got me taken care of with replacing one of my tires that were under warranty. I went ahead and had the other three replaced as well. They were quite busy. So I was there for a while. But they took great care of us and recommended that I get the front end aligned. I got this done a few days after. All is good now that I got the four new tires, alignment and front end taken care of.

I will only trust this location with my tires. The service I get here is unmatched by any other discount I’ve been to. I needed 3 new tires and Jay made the process so smooth. He was friendly and made sure to listen to everything I needed and made sure I left with exactly that. They had the 3 tires in stock and I was out of there in under an hour. I suggest making an appointment. They get busy! I never feel like I’m being taken advantage of here either. Every person I interacted with was super nice and very communicative. The warranty makes me feel even safer driving and I’m happy with my new tires. Great location and great staff.

I had a screw in my tire that caused it to become flat. I was busy and didn't want to wait several hours for my usual shop so I decided to stop into discount tire. I'm glad I did! The tire repair was free, the staff communicated well and entire repair from check in to leaving was only 45 minutes. Would recommend!

Be sure to request a tire rotation and balance with any purchase. If I recall correctly, they used to automatically do this but no longer. I noticed they did not do this with my tire replacement while leaving. As soon as I drove off the lot, I noticed it had a slight shake when breaking hard. When I had the time to bring it back for the rotation and balance, it took an additional 1.5 hrs. The rotation and balance fixed the shake.

The entire team is always ready to help. They take walk-ins, but if you make an appointment you won’t wait too long. The waiting area is nice and there is free internet. I am relatively new to Houston (moved here in Aug 2021 for a year) and streets are bad in this city: in less than a week I needed two new tires. I was advised by the person helping me with the papers to purchase life guarantee for the bought tires. Then, in November 2021 I had to replace yet another tire… I am a Discounted Tire fan and I am grateful for this place.

My baby just got 2 brand new tires. Jose was great, he made me new pot of coffee since it was out. They was very busy and since I didn’t have appointment, mine took about 1:30, fair enough better than 2:00. With appointment, last time it took about 40’. Very reasonable and honest, if they can patch it, they will do it for free, doesn’t matter where you got your tires. Warranty is Recommended, always bought for all my tires and for Acura MDX, mine aren’t cheap at all. Last time I ran over the curb and my right front tire was gone, free towing service from AAA and paid less than $15 for a new tire since I bought the warranty for it, in and out in 30’. My go to place for tires.

First off thank you Eli and the technician that worked on my car🙏 Earlier today the low tire pressure turned on and after pumping gas at Costco I tried to check the air pressure and fill the tire. To my surprise the tire went from 25 psi to 10 psi. Right after the tire went completely flat. My car was towed (the most stressful part of this process) to DT a mile away. I had called around 2 PM and they told me they could help me out. I arrived by 4 PM. Eli got me checked-in, explained the plan if the tire could be repaired or needed to be replaced, and I went to eat next door. They closed at 6 PM and my tire was fixed and ready to go by 6:20PM same day. In such a stressful situation everyone there was so helpful🙏 I will be back to buy my business vehicle tires from them!

I bought four tires from this location 2 times 🚩🚩 I had a blowout Friday and called Friday/Saturday to get it replaced- I called Monday to follow up and was told it would be in later that day- I called this morning (Wednesday 8/17) and after being placed on hold four times- repeating the issue three- I’m sending this review. I am still on hold- 25 min total time on the phone- told sorry for the miscommunication but it takes 3-5 days to order from the manufacturer and that though I was told it was placed Saturday- no order has been placed. I feel a fair resolution is 4 matching tires under warranty **update Eli provided excellent customer service that made up for the experience Speak up y’all teach them how to value you

Please BEWARE: It felt like a BAIT & SWITCH experience here, today!!! I just left Discount Tire in River Oaks. I must say that I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in my service here, today. I have used DISCOUNT TIRES in multiple states for at least 25 years, maybe 30. ANYWAY, today I went to this particular store bc I was taking mom for surgery this morning @ 5:30am in the RiverOaks area. While we were driving "her vehicle" the tire pressure light illuminated. She had low pressure in the passenger front tire. After she was checked I'm & the store opened I took "her vehicle" over to have the tires checked. They discovered a bolt in the tire. They said we can fix it for FREE this morning. It will take about 45 mins or so bc of their busy schedule. I went to the next technician in line & he REFUSED to patch the tire. He said she needed 4 new tires. My mom is 80 years old. She has health issues & my dad passed last year. I shared this with the tech & pleaded for help this morning. He REFUSED. My mom's surgery is a day surgery & would be able to go home this afternoon. We live in The Woodlands an hour away. "Could you please just patch the tire us for today, I begged? We'll get tires on another day. We just need help today. He said, The only way I can be of further assistance is to replace all 4 tires. So I had the tire filled & had to go back to the surgery center with the bolt on the tire. We will replace the 4 tires ASAP. I won't return here. VERY SURPRISED @ THIS SERVICE!!

This company understands customer service and goodwill. Yesterday was the second time I had to take a car in with a slow leak on a tire. You are met with a friendly and efficient welcome. Then the tire gets fixed at no cost. At other times I look out for a Discount Tire to put air in my car tires. Our whole family (4 cars between us) are very loyal to this company because of their helpfulness. Doing free smaller jobs surely is more effective than expensive tv advertising.

The only reason im giving it 3 stars is its very close to where i live. Some of these people that work in the garage have no care for peoples cars. Like mine. They would change the tire and just DROP THE CAR instead of slowly lowering it. The hub cap popped out because of that. Another time, the employee would drive my car too fast into the garage and that knocked something under my car so hard it bent. Everytime i go to this location, it always gives me anxiety because i know when i drive off, in a few days, my car would have another problem.

Great experience! First time needing to buy new tires. Nathan was extremely helpful, listened to my driving habits/tire needs, provided options in my price point, and wasn’t overly pushy just to make the sale. I appreciate that new tire purchase at Discount includes lifetime free air checks, rotations, and flat tire repair. -Covid side note: Employees were wearing masks correctly indoors and chairs in waiting room were physically distanced. I was offered a hand wipe and sanitizer after my purchase.

Easy to schedule service, friendly staff. Getting updates online is also helpful to know when to pick up the car. They have a waiting area that seats about twenty but isn't the most comfortable. They also offer a free tire check service, which is useful if the temperatures drop suddenly and your tire pressure light comes on

This place is 100 out of 10. I came in with another nail in the same tire I had fixed 2 days before today. There was a nail in it this time and completely irreparable. I came in stressed and am now walking out as happy as can be. Elisha made sure I was taken care of. He went above and beyond to make sure I come out of pocket as little as possible. He explained everything in detail and got me on my way. I won’t go anywhere else now. Top service and all of the employees here are so nice. They do windshield wipers now too so I don’t have to worry about figuring that out now. This location and especially Elisha get 10000 out of 10.

There's a reason Discount Tire is always busy. It's because they're the best. I had a very surprising flat situation arise in the last few days, and the place I went before waffled on how busy they were when I called them, so I made an appointment at the SW Freeway location online at their web site. When I arrived, within minutes I was directed to park my car and do check-in in the lobby. I chose to wait on-site. In just under an hour, my flat had been repaired (on a busy Saturday!), and as is often the case with Discount Tire, there was no charge for flat service. Raul was professional and helpful. Trey did a good repair job. I was in and out before the estimated hour with an appointment (about 40 minutes). It was packed and they were running around busy but they didn't rush customers and they were very polite. They also found the nail that the dealership missed and repaired it for free. Tip them as they only get paid $12 - $14 an hour and we all know that is no where near how much you need to survive in today's world.

Highly Recommend! Been coming to this location for 5 years, Been a customer of discount for 10. Yeah, all tire shops have wait times, but this place has always done a great job treating my car better than I treat it. Installation is great! Balance, rotate, clear tire, brush rust, torque, even gave me a free tire. Always matches Costco or deals. Never had to go anywhere else. Typically I buy Michelins mxm4 from them and they always get them ordered fast. Flat repair and minor services I typically set appt and get in and out. Also love the online appt site.

There is no better location in the city! You may wait a while.....but honestly that's to be expected at this store!!! These guys are very thorough and detail oriented, crack rams, they're going to tell you about it, bent rims, they will tell you about it, bad TPMS sensors, you will know about it! They don't just put a tire on and send you on your way, nope it's not going to happen😇. 🤔unless you tell them that's all you want! If there's any issues that you need to be aware of, they will tell you, which is extremely important on the roads here in Houston. Because the last thing we want is to be stranded in rush hour traffic on I10, 69/59, 610 or I45. Oh and if they say it's a 2 hour wait, trust me it is! But usually not much more unless it's an issue out of their control. As always an awesome experience for me and hell yes you get what you pay for here! The Discount Tire Guys . . Well they know tires!😁

Flavio provided amazing service. Purchased a set of tires 4 months back. Sidewall of a tire was punctured, called to confirm warranty and they let us know when to come in to get it replaced (had to order tire). That's basic service. While in, I asked about a rebate issue I had with Bridgestone due to how Discount Tire originally rang up my order. Instead of giving me instructions for me to hopefully resolve with Bridgestone, he refunded me the expected rebate amount to my card and said, "let us deal with it". That is great service standing behind the original promotion offered and helping a client avoid undue stress of dealing directly with the tire manufacturer. Flavio said he has been at DT for 5 years and loves the place. Way to take care of and empower your employees to do what's right! I hope others emulate Flavio.

Tommy from discount tire took great care of my concerns and addressed them all clearly and with details with discounts sources included. Had an “appointment” at 10:15am but my car didn’t get in the service lane until 11:10am. People that came after me were somehow getting in and out before me. Then when my car was done they told me I need to go somewhere else to get my stud fixed (on a tire/rim that wasn’t serviced on) since they stripped it. When I started asking questions, they said it might be free after giving me a paper that says it’s free. When I drove off I noticed they didn’t even fill my tires with air even though I asked them to do it. Very unprofessional and made my day and week more complicated since now I need to go to another place for this repair. I will never go back to this location again.

These folks have proven themselves to me three different times. Most recently (today) I discovered an industrial nail draining my tire on the highway. My tire was completely flat by the time I could steer it off the road and everything was closing. Liz took my call after hours and offered to keep my car overnight so a repair could be made in the morning. Her team was responsive, understanding and kind. Good service. Always busy. Young people working in the mechanics area should learn how to do things on old vehicles. They did great job on my car, just the young boy taking out the tires of it was kicking them instead of pulling straight as it should be done. He never figured out how to fit the extra wheel on the trunk either. Even i understand is a lack of experience.... They can be trained better I guess. Thank you any way for the service in general.

I had called ahead for a set of tires and they let me know they were busy and it might take a while, but I needed them, so went in anyway. Got there and they were PACKED so I was expecting quite a lengthy wait. All four tires replaced in about 30 minutes from the time I arrived. I was quite surprised at the turnaround time. Staff were friendly on the phone and in person and seemed to have quite an efficient process going.

Great experience. Set up the online appointment and prepaid. Easy process. Checked in a few minutes before my appointment time and chilled in the waiting area. I was maybe there for 20 minutes tops for the one tire getting replaced. Fast and easy. I strongly encourage people to make the appointment. One guest was irate that she had to wait, as appointments have priority. Despite this, the Staff was very professional and accommodating. Also, booking online almost guarantees that you'll have the right tire in stock for your vehicle. Mine was an odd size, so that's what I had to do. Glad I did it though.

THERE'S A REASON THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST. I booked an online appointment. When I arrived, a guy at the check-in tent had a big ol' smile and waved me into a space. Inside, I waited only a few minutes for service (it was Good Friday so traffic might have been lighter than usual mid-afternoon) and, within 15 minutes my car was in a service bay. Another 15 minutes, it was done. Major kudos to Ubaldo (the guy who processed my service at the counter), and the guys in the service bays. Excellent work! While waiting I also read the Wikipedia article on Discount Tire. Check it out sometime!

Honest, friendly, and efficient service. I came here to get new tires after an untimely tire blowout (DEFINITELY get your tires inflated when that little light comes on!! that was scary). I bought the tires online and reserved an appointment for the tire change the day before. My appointment itself lasted about 35-40 minutes, much faster than the estimated hour, probably because I selected and bought my tires online and could immediately see which ones were available in my selected store. I will definitely swing by this place again for my tire needs if I'm in the area. These guys are the real deal!

Jennifer Ventura helped me today and she was very quick and efficient, not just with me but with everyone at the tire shop. She was greeting everyone as they were walking in while attentively coordinating the entire lobby. The lobby was full. I needed a 20inch pilot sport 4s tire for my 08 cl63 and she told me her store is the fastest one that can get one since it was nearby the warehouse. I called in the afternoon around 5pm the tire arrived at 10am the next day. Might I add this specific tire is very hard to find. I called the location near my house and all I got is a “no, we don’t have it in stock” she approached it better, She is a hero!

I got a full set of really nice tires here at a fair price. I enjoy going to places that specialize in something, because then you get that peace of mind from having an expert working on your particular issue. My advice would be to ALWAYS make an appointment; if you cannot, it might be better to go elsewhere if they're busy. Call ahead and be smart about timing by picking less-busy slots during the day (unless an emergency, of course). This isn't a knock on the quality of customer service or repair at this location, as both are phenomenal. But when I needed a simple procedure (nail removed and tire plugged) a week ago, the wait time was a whopping 5 hours. I took it to a local mechanic and had it done in 10 minutes flat, no wait.

These guys are quick and efficient, but schedule ahead if you can. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!! I got a flat tire due to a random nail about 4 months ago. I ended up getting 2 new tires and I was provided several price options and chose one that suited my budget. I showed up here again today to get my tires rotated and balanced during my work lunch break. This service is included at no cost if you buy tired from here. I made an appointment several days in advance and when I walked in, there was about 10 people in line. I noticed a sign for an appointments counter and nobody in that line. I was happy to walk right up to the front and Javi quickly assisted me. I was in and out of there in 45 minutes maximum. Great service and I'll be back!

Anyone can stop by for a free tire pressure check without getting out of their car. This might seem like pure PR, but I've stopped by other places that offer that service and no one could even find the person who supposed to be attending to that duty. (That job looks like no fun and thankless. So I always tip the attendant for that!) They have the most hard-working team! I appreciate their honesty and courtesy. It says a lot about their corporate ethic.

This location is SUPER, line out the door busy. It was that way on Saturday at 6pm, and again in Monday around 10 when I came back to pick my car up. The good thing is that there was lots of staff on duty. Managers were on patrol to make sure everyone had been served and to expedite any glitches. No one was acting stressed out. However, personal client attention was lacking. Don't get me wrong, everyone was nice! But I'm used to my service ticket reviewed, getting tips for upcoming service, inquiry about if I had questions...but there was no time - the line was backing up behind me. If you have a tire emergency, they are going to get you back on the road ASAP. If your car is drivable to another, less busy location- I would recommend that

Two days ago my wife had a flat in which the vehicle was towed to our house close by. I removed her damaged wheel and brought it in by itself with a scheduled appointment. The guy took car of me and took my tire and says we will have you out in 45 minutes. I never saw them work on the tire but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and waited 1 hour. Then an hour and a half went by and I figured I asked. The tire had been ready for over 45 min and was sitting by the door and nobody notified us not even the guy who helped us who saw us there for almost 2 hours. Update: Tomorrow I have to travel for business so I decided to bring my car in today for a tire rotation. Again I have an appointment. The guy checks out my car and says same thing we will have you out in 45 min. It has been an hour and 15 min and again I decided to ask the guy who helped me if remembered I had an appointment and what the deal was. He said I apologize i forgot to put that in the system and would have me next in line. So I'm not sure if it is just me these guys are nice but as far as making an appointment goes make sure you tell them repeatedly and don't be afraid to ask someone what's going on. I buy all my tires at discount tire I love their warranty's but this one in particular always seems to give me a rough time.

Best Tire change experience of my Life!!! From the moment I arrived the staff was great! Hilario ( My Customer service representative) was awesome. I didn't know which Tire needed changing and he personally inspected all four tires and determined it was best to replace my rear tires! The initial wait time was a little long but once the process was started it was a breeze. Hilario walked me through the best Tire for my car and something that was budget friendly. They even wrapped one of my old tires up just in case I may need a spare in an emergency! Anyone that gives this place a bad review because if how long it takes to get your tires change needs to look in to just dropping off there car! Dr visit with an appointment takes 3-4 hours so how long do you think its gonna take to change 4 tires balance them align them and get you out of there??? I applauded the entire team for the hard work they put in! Normally I have very good service at Discount Tire, but this one day I waited over 5 hours to get my tired looked at. Initially, I went in for a tire pressure check which was quick and efficient. Apparently, my back tires were dangerously worn so I wanted to replace them. I put my name on the waitlist . The staff did warn me it was going to take 3 hours, but I feel like they forgot to check in with me because I believe someone needed to come check what the issue was with my car and unfortunately, no one came to my car until about 2 hours after when I was wondering my position in the waitlist. It seemed like the staff forgot about me so they said someone would come to my car to check in with me. Granted, there were a lot of people waiting but after waiting another maybe 30 minutes, I decided to ask again because no one had come in to check in with me. All in all, I had to ask a few more times about my car specifically and ended up being the last person to be serviced. I'm not sure what exactly happened but it's almost like whatever system they had in place that day to see customers was constantly changing. When I left, they were closing down after 6pm but they did replace my 2 back tires. I came around 1:30pm and left around 6-ish pm. I will likely go to another Discount Tire next time. Everyone in the staff was really nice and knowledgeable though, and the tires I got at very reasonable prices.

My experience here was great. I ordered 4 tires online and had them delivered to the store. When I arrived for my appointment, I learned that the shipment was delayed and the tires were not there... even though I had called a few days prior to confirm they would be there the day of my appointment. Instead of having me come back a different day, they upgraded my tires to a higher quality set they had in stock, and honored the price for the cheaper set. The appointment lasted about an hour, much quicker than I expected. I will definitely be back next time I need tire service.

Recently, my wife's car had 2 flats, luckily one was completely flat and I changed it with the spare while the other was a slow leak. I made it to this location safely before it was completely flat. It was in the middle of the week and early in the morning, but I was able to walk in and get in and out within a few hours. Yes, I know it was a few hours, but I was expecting much longer. So I guess it depends on your expectation. This location has a huge staff and gets the cars through fairly quickly. They have wi-fi here too so I had my laptop and was able to work remotely which made the time go by quickly. I generally love Discount Tire as a company but especially this location really blew away the service I expect.

I have been going to discount tire for about 7 years. Always very happy. I am still happy, but today was different. 1. An employee was shouting angrily in the vehicle bay. No clue what it was about. 2. When my vehicle was ready someone brought my key to me and said I could pull my car out unless I wanted them to do it. I've never been told this before. They have always pulled my car to the front. I saw them pulling everyone else's car to the front door today. Not sure why they brought my key to me. Since I was working and had to out away my laptop and gather my things, I asked that they pull my car to the front and they did. So, nothing "bad," just odd in my experiences with Discount Tire. I'll keep going back!

I had the absolute best experience the other day! I called around 1 PM on Friday to see if tires for my vehicle were in stock. Sure enough they were, ranging from around $50 to $150. I told the guy that I would try to make it in that same day or the next, and that I would prefer the most affordable option (I don't plan to have my car much longer.) He tells me they have plenty in stock in the $50 range and to come by today. Around 4:45 PM, I walk in, ask for Leo and he remembered me from our conversation earlier! I realize it had only been a few hours, but they're busy in there:) He takes a look at my car, checks the mileage and rings up 4 tires for me in under 5 minutes, all the while, smiling and being genuinely friendly. He tells me it will be about 45 minutes for my car to be ready (which is already super fast for a Friday near 5 PM) and lets me know that I'll receive a call when I need to come back. I don't even have to stay! Awesome! It gets better though!!! - My phone rang after 35 minutes. I didn't have time to finish my wine at the Olive Garden next door, which is more than ok considering that my car was ready! I was super impressed with Leo, the speedy service and that DT actually had the cheaper option in stock (no one ever has the cheapest option in stock.) Give them a try and I doubt you'll be disappointed:)

There prices are of course generally good, but be sure to do a price check with other places like on-line provider Tire Rack. The employees here are courteous and helpful. I accidentally locked my keys in my car in their parking lot right when i arrived for a tire rotation appointment. I waited 45 minutes for AAA. Good quality service but they are always slammed so appointments don't work well at all but they are fairly quick most of the time. As soon as it turned 8 am, a crew of employees came outside, each one meeting with the first customers in line and immediately helping them. Great shop! This shop is really popular, and they always have a line. I came in the afternoon and waa told it would be a 3 hour wait because of all the cars they already had. So I went back the next morning 15 minutes after they opened, and it was a 45 minute wait. The guy remembered me from the day before and put my car information in immediately. True enough, 45 minutes later the screw was removed from my tire, and they patched it up for free. Great service! The waiting area has lots of chairs and free Wi-Fi, so waiting is a decent experience. Highly recommend this place!

Had an appointment setup to install tires that I had ordered previously and called to confirm that they had arrived. When I arrived, only 2 tires were left (confirmation of 4 had been given previously)- they did make a hustle to get the remaining tire I needed and got my install that in about 1.5 hours- not bad considering, but it would have been 5 stars if they had what I ordered and got me in and out in under an hour which could have happened. Bottom line, they are a busy place, they match internet pricing, they will give a warranty on ANY tire purchased ANYWHERE, and they hustle to get a lot of people through- so its a good place to go- just not perfect.

Had an incredible experience here. They don't charge any fees for diagonistics or even labor. They don't try to sell extra services unless they feel it is better for you, in which case they actually explain exactly why and don't try to push you at all (mine ended with "It's completely up to you" in a very friendly way). It's a long wait time, but it just shows how many people come here and respect their services. Would definitely come again.

Always super busy. A few people with 1:30pm appointments on a Friday had to wait until 2:00pm before someone assisted them. Walk-ins were waiting even longer. The wait time estimates were awful. Spent almost two hours just to get a slow leak patched. Would be better if they had a "take a number" device at the front and then called numbers in order so long lines in the middle of the lobby wouldn't form and people would cut the line.

The service desk was prompt and polite with us and told us the car would be ready in an hour and a half. We had a nail in our tire and have always gone there since we purchase our tires there. The problem came when we started driving down the toll way after the tire was fixed. The tire went flat we within 10 minutes. We called the store and a guy named Anthony came to our rescue. When we went back the manager named Solis found out that the plug wasn't put in right. Thank goodness we weren't farther along and they were able to fix the problem.

I had a slow leak, so I booked an appointment, and it took them about an hour to fix it (had a screw in the tire). They told me the tread was getting low and I will eventually want to replace the rear tires in about 5000 miles. Great customer service. Didn't charge me anything to repair the tire. I went to discount tire after a recommendation by a friend. Was a bit skeptical at first because of prior poor experience at firestone and NTB. Unlike then, the guys at this discount tire store were genuine, honest and not trying to scare me and sell tires. The service was a bit slow but I did not have an issue with that. Discount Tire is not a franchise. They are all owned by one company. The perk of being able to go to any Discount Tire in the country is great and with peace of mind. They will also match your tire quote! Last year, I needed all 4 new tires. I originally scheduled my appointment with Discount Tire, wanted to cancel since I got a cheaper quote, and the manager accepted the competitor's price!! I've always liked Discount Tire but for some reason I like this location the most. Located off 59 between Buffalo Speedway and Kirby, next to Olive Garden. It's a high traffic store, usually always busy. The staff is great! Always nice and definitely take good care of their customers. I never feel like they are trying to take advantage of me by upselling, etc. I recommend calling a few days ahead and booking an appointment. I came during peak hours, and because I had my appointment, I was in and out in less than 30 minutes for a tire rotation. There must have been at least 15 or so people ahead of me. Trust me, I was surprised they called my name so quickly. Quick note: The last appointment they take is at 5:30pm. They close at 6pm on weekdays but will accept any customer before 6pm! Even 5:59pm!

The line was so long it was almost out the door at about 1 p. M. I decided to go have a snack next door instead of wait. When I got back about 2: 30pm, the line wasn't too bad and they helped me pretty quickly. After I paid for the work I wanted done, he informed me that I would probably be waiting about 2 hours! A fellow patron told me it's like that all the time.? However, I learned I can make an appointment and not wait more than 45 minutes, yay! the sales associates have never told me that was an option or encourage me to do so. I think it's time for an expansion at this location, with a bigger building and more employees!

I've bought a couple sets of tires at this location in addition to a few stops for maintenence/rotations and such. While the shop has been busy while I am there, they move through jobs pretty quickly. When the work isn't urgent, it's easy to schedule an appointment online or over the phone and they can usually get you booked within the next day or so. I recently took a nail to a tire (I know that set needed to be replaced, but I was putting it off as long as I could) and wasn't able to call until late afternoon. The salesperson I spoke to told me their appointments for the next day were full, but he could get me in the next day. I explained I was in a tight spot because my wife was planning to take the car out of town that day, and I wanted to get it fixed before her trip. He advised me to come first thing when the shop opened at 8:00am the next morning. I got to the shop 10-15 minutes before it opened and there was already one person waiting on the benches by the door. A small crowd of 10 or so folks had gathered by the time the opened at 8:00, but four or five clerks met us and immediately started helping the folks in the front of the line. I did end up replacing all my tires (like I said, I knew I was due), but at least I was able to catch a sale, which they seem to run frequently,with a cash back rebate, so that did help lighten the blow to the old pocketbook. Within 30 minutes of the shop opening I was driving off on four brand new tires. I'm no gearhead, but from the limited research I've done, their prices seem fair on a number of well-known brands. They always offer options at various price points, and their free lifetime maintenance at any DT location is a very nice perk. Not only have I gone back to my local shop for rotations and patches (I think they will air you up too, but at least that I can handle myself), but I also have taken advantage of their service when I woke up to a flat while on a road trip. I recommend Discount Tire to my friends and this shop in particular, especially if they are looking for service inside the loop.

Overall my experience was not too bad. I was there for maybe less than an hour. My issue is with the sales person Eli Velasquez. First off, I called a head because I already looked online at the prices and decided on what tires I wanted based on my budget. According to online and the person I spoke to on the phone two tires should have been $207 including labor and taxes. I told the sales guy when I got there what tires I wanted and he attempted to talk me into more expensive ones. I said no and he told me about the line of credit in order to get me to get more expensive tires. I told him no again. (honestly, he was just doing his job to up sale me so, I was not too bothered by that). What bothered me was when he rang me up for everything and the price was higher than what I was quoted online and over the phone. I asked why was the price higher and he told me it was because of the tire warranty. I asked if that was optional. He said yes. So, I stated "I was not asked if I wanted that optional service and what do this include". And he stated he forgot then told me what it covered. If he forgot to ask then why was it on my invoice. I think he added the warranty and purposely did not ask if I wanted it. I caught what he did because of the price difference. I think this is poor customer service. Optional services should be discussed with the customer first and I should have been give the option to decline or accept the added warranty. I have a feeling he does this with everyone and not everyone is smart enough to catch this trick. I am not sure if he was told to do this or if he just does this on his own. I would have given 5 stars but this really pissed me off. Every other Discount Tire I have gone to have asked me first if I wanted to warranty and explained what it covered. I have never had someone just add it without my knowledge and then play dumb when I questioned why it was there. I think this is poor business practices and anyone going to this location needs to assess their invoice before paying to make sure they are not sneaking and adding stuff on there that was not discussed with you beforehand.

I purchased a set of tires from this location about a year ago, but recently noticed that two of them were low on pressure. I tried putting air in them at a local gas station, but I couldn't reach a pressure higher than 27 psi. I know that gas station air pumps don't always work well and are often out of order, so I tried one other gas station's air pump but ended up with the same results. I had purchased a warranty with the tires, so I called and asked if it would cover the cost of having them check for leaks. They informed me that it would and they made an appointment for me, but said they could probably squeeze me in if I came in right when they opened. I decided to try this and showed up right at 8am this next day. Although there were about 4 or 5 people in from of me, I was in and out of there within 30 minutes. They took each tire off and did a "water check" to assess for punctures and then equalized the pressure in each of them. All of this was free of charge! I found the employees to be incredibly friendly and easy to work with and I will most definitely be back the next time I'm in the market for a set of tires.

Purchased 4 new tires 2 weeks ago. They had to special order them for me, but once they arrived I was able to drop off my car at 11:00 and picked it up at 3:00. Yesterday, I clipped some debris on the freeway. I put the spare on and brought the car over at 8:30. An associate names Will found the tire I needed at another location and had it delivered. By 10:30, the new tire was mounted and ready to go. He even transferred the certificate to the new tire at no charge since it was basically brand new. Great location and crew.

Good most of the time. This time they rotated my tires incorrectly (FWD pattern rotation instead of the AWD pattern that it should have been), and didn't air up the tires correctly (one was at 25 psi). I had come in and waited for an hour to get these two things specifically done, and it was done incorrectly. Annoying.

I have done business at this Discount Tire location for many years because of the consistent high quality of work performed. During my most recent visit I needed special assistance with a mid-tread punctured run-flat tire on an expensive wheel with tire pressure sensor. Management responded by assigning an employee, Will, experienced in operating their "no touch" system. Will first marked the tire/wheel mount location to minimize rebalance, then removed tire from wheel without damage, repaired the tire, then flawlessly remounted the tire and restored tire pressure sensor without damage to the wheel. Will then rechecked and fine-tuned balance. This is another example of outstanding, prompt, professional service by this Discount Tire location.

Discount Tire always has excellent customer service. They do professional work to keep us safe on the road! They even recommended Midas for repairing a broken bolt and gave me a free new lug nut for when i get it repaired. They also do a good job of estimating wait times and why (extra 4th of July travelers) One thing I learned today is they replace the valve caps on the tires when they replace the tires even if you had custom valve caps installed (I had to ask for mine back). The person who worked on my vehicle this time may be new and still in training. They put two oily smudges on my interior. One on the center console (looked like the imprint of an elbow and arm) and one on the driver's side door handle. They left a lot of debris on the driver's side floor mat and one small oily stain on the carpet which also needs cleaned. They didn't correctly reassemble the spare tire setup in the trunk and they put the net in the trunk down below where the spare tire goes instead of leaving it installed inside the trunk. Despite these negatives, I will probably continue to use Discount Tire in the future because of their customer service and professionalism in caring for their customers, following vehicle manufacture standards, and keeping folks safe on the road.

Went in as we were visiting from New York for our sons graduation, after noticing tires on our truck were low and couldn’t remove valve caps as they were corroded on. (Don’t use aftermarket aluminum caps!) Ram Dealer quoted us close to $300 for labor and valve stem replacement. We drove to tire discount and had the pleasure of talking with a fine young gentleman by the name of CJ and he said they’ll take care of it at no charge even though they were packed ! We couldn’t believe it. We went across the street to grab a bite and have a cold drink and came back to find truck waiting for us with brand new valve stems and caps all tires balanced and inflated properly. Tipped the guys a few bucks each and they were actually thankful and appreciated the gesture. You don’t find this service and hospitality in NY. Long live TEXAS!

Today my other SUV had the same issue so i went to the other Discount tires on 6580 SW freeway and was appalled at how horribly i was treated. I found a nail in my tire at the office and security added air so that I could make across street to this location. I made seven minutes before closing time and the door was locked and when I tried ask for help the person in charge said they were closed and would not help. So I started the process of changing my own tire in the parking lot. About the time I got the tire off a manager pulled in to the parking lot and noticed how bad it looks for a customer to be changing their own tire while the store appeared to be open. He took my tire in and fixed it and had the guy that told me they were closed to put it back on. Never been back since.

Thank God for run-flats. First, not only did they repair the hole, they road-forced balanced the tire, cleaned off debris from the wheel and the hub, and torqued the bolts to the correct specifications.
