Very friendly and offer you exactly what you need. The auto industry is rife with low lives ripping people off, not so here. Greatly appreciate the honesty and will definitely be coming back for other vehicle needs. It's hard to find trustworthy mechanics. Note: they don't do tire patches here, only plugs.

This was my 1st time bringing my Corvette to a shop other than the dealership. I have had a great experience with Lex Brodie's regarding service on my other vehicles. So, I decided to bring my Corvette to have the balance checked on my wheels. I ended up having my tires rebalanced. The service tech was very cautious with my car and wheels. I was appreciative of the attention to detail. The customer service reps in the office are very welcoming and keep you updated on issues that may arise during repairs/installs.

This Lex Brodie's is the best auto repair shop I've ever found! After over-paying for repairs at the dealership and other shops, I will not take my car anywhere else but Lex Brodie's now. The service by Gerard and Kevin is always so far above and beyond I'm honestly blown away and so grateful every time. Waiting area is air-conditioned, clean with open space and a television. They also offer a credit towards Uber if you prefer to not wait. Everyone seemed very professional and friendly. My total bill was very reasonable for the work I had done. I'm pleased with the service I received!!!

I ruined a tire by accidentally scraping it on a curb. I was in a tremendous hurry to get it fixed as I was leaving for a trip to the mainland that day and had only a few hours. Lex Brodies on Queen St. replaced the tire for me in less than 45 minutes and I was on my way. One of many great experiences there. Highly recommended...outstanding service!

I had a great experience with the Aiea location so I decided to give the Queen St location a chance. It was well worth a trip. I needed new windshield wipers. It was raining this morning and I turned on the wipers. Mid-swipe and the wiper breaks. I thought it might fly off the car so I stopped using them. I called the Queen Street location and they take walk-ins. I stopped by and they looked at the problem. They would need to order the windshield wipers so they referred me to a local shop to purchase. They told me to return and they would put them on for me at no charge. I returned and they did as promised. I found out they are a local, employee owned company that gives great customer service. Took my car in to this place for the first time today. I had a short wait in line and the people who helped my were very kind. There was a nice waiting room lounge. I chose to leave and come back because of how long the service would take for my car but they called me as soon as it was ready. They really went above and beyond to help me get my car taken care of and I can’t say mahalo enough.

I am a repeat customer at Lex Brodie because of the customer service and superior products. On my last visit, I purchased four tires and my Customer Service Representative Maile O. could not have been more helpful. Because I booked my appointment on-line, she had checked me in before I arrived, so the initial contact was quick. She had also applied all applicable discounts and coupons, saving me some money. Maile also noted the tire size I entered on-line was in error and immediately corrected my mistake. Good catch! She promised my car would be ready for pick-up at 1130 am, and called me two hours early to relate the service was completed and invited me to pick-up my car. Thank you Lex and Maile . . . FIVE STARS for sure!

It’s rare for any company to have that kind of reliability and dependability, and even more so to have consistently maintained their exceptional performance throughout. Whether it’s new tires, brakes, tire repair, or even a simple safety check, their staff are always helpful and friendly, and the results always completed efficiently and professionally. In addition, their services are reasonable in cost and when the quality of their services and products are factored in, could be considered a bargain.

I used to always take my car here for tires, brakes, repair and so does my son. That all is changing. This company has turned into one that will quickly respond to a sales call but can’t even return a call, text, email after the sale is done. On Friday I bought 2 new tires and confirmed that they would be put on the rear. Well, they put it on the front with no explanation. I have been trying to contact them but no one has responded. I’m ready to pull up and return these tires if they can’t be installed correctly. This review has gone from one star to a five star rating. I just received customer service at its finest from the President of the company, Scott Williams, who corrected the problem, followed it until I was a happy and satisfied customer.

My car wouldn't start, then we eventually got it started and it wouldn't drive higher than 10mph and wouldn't get above 2,000rpms. Our insurance company recommended Lex Brodies's. Google gave us the impression that it was only a tire place so we called to make sure they did the sort of work we needed and then had it towed there. After talking to the manager and looking under the hood with her, she suspected it was an electrical issue and recommended we take it to Wayne's Auto Electrical. She also let us park our car there overnight, in their secured area, until we were able to transport it to Wayne's the following day. Turns out it was an electrical issue and we were saving hundreds of dollars by taking it to a different shop. I am so impressed with the manager at Lex Brodie's professionalism and honesty.

Ok this place can be crazy busy, but I always opt to drop off my car and grab a bite at one of the many nearby breweries. Last year I got my safety done somewhere else (closer to work) and I regretted it, brought it back to Lex's this year and couldn't be happier. The staff is always very friendly too, never overpaid.

Purchased in 2018 four brand-new Michelin Tires and got the whole job done balance everything. Since that time we all can agree life is changed a lot. Honestly I have no idea how to put air in a tire admire those that do. During the high point of the pandemic yes it was difficult to get someone to help you put air in your tires, get service you name it it just became more difficult. I'd like to thank Lex Brodie their management team, their service staff, and everyone that works there for their giant Aloha which wasn't always easy. If we're all honest it was a tough time for everyone and sometimes we judge too hastily on someone's attitude. I'm grateful to be a customer of Lex Brodie's that I drive up now you may have to wait a little bit because they're a bit short-staffed but your patience will pay off. Support local, not just because they're local but because they give above and beyond customer service.

Great, quick service by the Lex team! Thanks to a combination of rolling in a little early and I think a slower than expected morning, my safety check was done in record time. For those concerned about COVID safety precautions, they make sure to place a protective cover on the wheel and the staff are more diligent about keeping their mask on properly than the customers. The staff is always friendly, polite, and clear in any instructions.

They handled my car situation professionally and with much due care by going beyond to give me the best price match for 2 Rear Michelin tires!! I saved $130.00!! Plus the services that came with installing the tires. I wasn’t expecting that much savings!! I literally was blown away! I originally scheduled an online appointment for another vehicle that I own and ended up taking in my son’s Nissan Sentra for an oil change. While the vehicle was being serviced, I was informed that a brake flush should be performed based on the manufacturer’s recommendation and the mileage the vehicle had. Now, along with my oil change, I was getting a brake flush done too. The wait time was long but that’s explained to you when you are making your online appointment. I spent my time in their air conditioned lounge watching TV and connected to their WiFi internet connection. It made the time go by rather quickly.My vehicle was finished in the time I had requested for when I made my online appointment. Lex Brodie’s Honolulu always has excellent customer service from start to finish.

I needed a tired plugged so I was referred to Lex Brodies well...without an appt expect to wait at least 3 hours. I didn't plan on picking up a screw in my tire really not something you plan for. Ended up going elsewhere to get it fixed. Staff was friendly but unsympathetic to my problem.

Liked the service and gauging from the number of cars with identification roof tags, they easily had several hundred cars a day running through ther service center. We looked them up on Yelp and saw many positive reports from customers. I recall TV ads by Lex Brodie and he seemed to have good marketing sense in the 1969-1970 years. This is 2022 and the business is still flourishing. I tried to schedule on line and liked the simplicity, but the on-line scheduling stalled. I don't believe it's functional and needs more synchronization with the shop. Having visit today and having my car tire replaced and an alignment done, I think there needs to be an updating on the shop end so that delivering upon completion can be done for all customers.. I met an old friend who was told to come at 12:30. It was 1:30 and the wheel change and alignment was not yet accomplished. We were a "walk in" were told three hours and the delivery was pretty much on schedule. There was a short line of five people to the cashier. Inside a waiting room were five others. In the lot were some 50 plus cars awaiting servicing. Cars of all makes, expensive to economy models.

I brought my tire in for a flat repair and the service was great. Courteous front desk staff!! Although they were both busy when I arrived, they did take the time to acknowledge me and let me know they would be right with me. That's always a plus in my book!!! They temperature check all customers before they are allowed to enter the office and the chairs in the waiting room are appropriately distanced. I felt safe! They were busy and I was told that I would have to wait about 1.5 hours, however, it ended up taking only about a 1/2hour :) Thank you very much for your quick service!

Great place to get any service done. This is my goto place for service. I've had everything from brakes/AC/Blower motor/belts/flushes/oil changes all done here with no hassle. My truck is old. Costco won't touch it. Goodyear doesn't carry tires for it. But Lex Brodie's is happy to help! I called on a Saturday; they moved my tires across the island on Sunday, and I was in and out in about an hour that same day. Kevin took good care of me! Thanks, everyone! When I showed up the parking lot was beyond full, I didn't think they would be able to get me in but to my surprise, they took my truck and was able to fix the tire the same day! Honest and straight forward. They did kinda overtighten my oil filter last time but my car had a lot of work that needed to be done and some pretty busted parts that they worked around. Top notch service. I was always a customer of Les Schwab, but they don't serve Hawaii, so I've been trying to find a good and honest service place. Tried to "cheap out" for a while, and had adequate service at other shops, but the last time I took my car in to the discount place, they told me that I had HUGE problems ($5,000+ in repairs). Decided to get a 2nd opinion, and went to Lex Brodie's. Instead of $5,000 just for the repairs (it didn't include tires) I paid @$1,000 for new tires and a diagnostic that found no problems. Found my new service place👍

Overall, the service was very good. I had an appointment for an oil change and safety inspection, so I dropped my vehicle off and walked to the gym. I finished and came back an hour later and ended up waiting about an hour. It took a long time but they always do a good job for me.

Went in to get some bulbs replaced because they went out, and I don't have so much as a minute to spare to fix them myself. Turns out they were just loose, so they didn't charge me for anything. I really appreciate this place because they only do what needs to be done, and go even beyond that with their customer service. I've gone for every car-related issue I've had since moving here, and you definitely should too. They're amazing, and between the friendly staff, customer oriented culture, and quick turn around times, this might actually be my favorite car shop I've ever had.

I had a slow leak on my left front tire for quite a while, though slightly annoying, I'd go to Lex Brodies Queen st. as always for air," some places do have better Air than others " LOL ! My Samoan friend came up we started talking, my left front was 25 pounds filled to 35 all around. Other three down 1-2 pounds, I asked Base if he could check it out. Although he was getting off he graciously accepted took my car for inspection, he came to me about half hour later told me he was getting off and had another CSR complete the inspection. After 15 minutes female CSR came up to me as I was conversing with a physician on medical emergencies & told me that two front tires weren't good & that I needed 2 new tires. Although tires had good threads, CSR thought I would purchase only 2, I told her to put 4 new tires, I was told week and half ago via friend CSR Michelin Premier were they top of the line. My current tires were Michelin 235/50 18 I wanted Michelin premiere 245/45R 18 quoted with sales and tax $1492.00. I went to Costco asked about above premiere on order $1000. out the door and asked for printed quote was given copy. Had in glove compartment. I told CSR I have a receipt from Costco cause I knew & was told by two others CSR on price match. She took the printed $1000. called me for private conversation and told me they don't have Michelin premiere, she went on saying what I'll give you are Michelin pilot 245/45R 18. Per Consumer Digest Tires above 55000. Miles Premier 80,000 miles. My friends at this Lex's know should any CSR explain added benefits from $1000. To $1492. differences between Costco & them, Sincerely I wouldn't argue the price. I've given my VISA & I would say fine than put $1492. on my card. I could have run with tires I just filled & go to Costco. But CSR said she has the same on her car. Well again like the Cellphone incident I ended up with Michelin pilot 245/45-18 4 new tires which states on receipt no warranty on price match. Don't understand Price match was for Premier not Pilot? However she did tell me that should I have any problems with tires or pulling left/right just bring it to her. Alignment was done front and back. Total I paid $1138.16

I have been coming to Lex Brodie's for a number of reasons for my family's cars and have spent a lot of money there over the years. I purchased the Fixed Forever Brakes a year or two ago on one of our cars. I brought it in today and told them the brakes were whistling. They said, no problem and after inspecting my car, they replaced the rotor and brake pads without any other questions. They made it easy and stood behind their guarantee. What a great place. A remarkable and unexpected experience that really touched my heart. I live in Tantalus, and at about 5:15 pm I realized I had a nail in my tire, slowly leaking air. I had to make sure they knew it wasn't one of the tires they pit on- they said they know and valued my business and hoped I come back when it was time to order front tires. I was simply shocked. I though I was visiting 1955 or something. Now that's how you do it! They sacrificed $25 bucks for a loyal customer and $400-$600 later. Smart business. I'm a fan!!

Had two different visits in course of a month. One for a safety check. They were fast and friendly and explained the process well. Second time was for a nail in the tire situation of which hey triaged and repaired in around 40 min with a last second appointment. If your in a bind with either a safety check, or a tire issue, these guys got you.

The later you get there, the longer you seem to wait. Most workers there seem to be friendly, with some a lot more pleasant than others. The customer lounge is comfortable and roomy enough, with ample seating, coffee, tv and free WiFi. Plus, it's air conditioned! There are wheelchair accessible bathrooms and a couple of vending machines. Despite those things, I was pretty annoyed to have to go back when our tire leaked less than 12 hours after they supposedly checked it and said there was nothing wrong with it. Yes, we had an appointment.

Went in for an inspection. They were super busy but they have a nice big air conditioned room where I waited. It was a 2 hour wait and so one of the workers comped my whole service just because I " waited a lot longer than expected". So nice! Will definitely give them my business in the future!

Lex Brodie's has helped me out of a jam twice now! Yesterday my low tire pressure light came on in the pouring rain and I was worried I had a leak or worse. Took it in and they checked all my tires and just refilled the air -- at no charge! THANK YOU...VERY MUCH! A while back, we had a flat on the way to work. Took it to a shop near home but they suggested we replace the entire tire versus patch, and that both front tires need to be replaced anyway. So we decided to just go to Lex Brodie's. We weren't quite sure where to go, but there was a spot to pull up between the cars so I did. Got out and ran into a guy with the red Lex shirt. Asked him if I need to pull up to the front or if I can leave the car there. He just came over and started helping me immediately. AWESOME! Went through different tires, programs, the rewards stuff (showed him the VIP thing Scott gave us at the meeting, too). When we were all set he walked me over to the computer to sign up for the rewards program, gave me his card (Eddie Pagelsdorf) and let me know he'd call when ready. Got a call about 1.5 hrs later to check in and let me know my brake pads were worn to basically metal on metal (YIKES). Eddie went through the pricing and flush and gave me new rate. I approved. Eddie said he'd call when they're done and the car is ready. Missed the call when the car was ready about 330p, but called back a little after 4p and they said just come on down. When I got there all of the employees were very helpful and making sure someone had helped me. Paid the bill while Eddie drove the car to the front. Pretty smooth operation!

Went to their website to schedule drop off service for oil change and brakes, and got serviced the same day! A++ for fast service. Recommend you do the drop off, because the Queen's location has a ridiculous amount of things to do. Across the street, is a park with amazing street art, Ala Moana beach, Petco, and more. I brought my dog, had an epic day, before I knew it got a call, car is ready. You do pay a premium for their quality honest service. For Oil change, after taxes and oil disposal is around $90. Their lifetime brakes for ONE axel is 359.99 plus 179.00 for labor, not including rotors. So if you're doing both axels on your car expect to pay over $1000, if you need rotors add $200+.

Staff processed my order without an appointment, scheduled the work for that day, promised work complete by 4:00p, and sent me on my way within 30 minutes of pulling up. We have been fortunate to get same day service for several last minute car problems at Lex Brodie's. The van wouldn't start and we were not sure if it was the battery or related parts. Their diagnostics revealed a battery problem. They were busy but we got the van towed in by 12:30 and they called me just after 4:00. We bought the battery from them last year and it was still under warranty so there was no charge. This is the only place we can rely on for tires for our van. Their staff is always professional, patient and helpful. They have an air conditioned waiting room with chairs and coffee.

Update: This is a review for the Aiea shop. After visiting 2 other tire shops only to find 2+ hour waits at minimum for a flat repair I tried Lex Brodie’s in Aiea. I was immediately greeted and reassured that if a repair wasn’t possible then they had a replacement tire in my size. Within 30 minutes I was done and on my way. They could’ve easily told me that I needed to replace my tire and I would’ve done it. However, that level of honesty will bring me back for all 4 tires and brakes after the New Year. Great job!

Decent and quick service. Had a radiator leak. They replaced the radiator fine it seems but the vehicle is still overheating while idle. They had no ideas as to what it could be. I pulled in the Lexus to add air in my front tires. The air pressure hose is excellent when I got ready to leave my car wouldn't start I was blocking another car that was parked at a right angle to me so a couple of the attendance push my car forward into their garage so the guy could get out. Lex's super helper went and got a tester for my battery and due to the bad connection on my 2002 Mazda it read a bad battery. well we kept messing with it and moving it around a little bit getting it to seat better and still it wouldn't start so he got a power pack and gave me a jump start the car started right up I was on my way thank you Lex Brodie, you guys are number one it was late Saturday 4:30. Such Much Aloha!

Seems like a lot of negative reviews, but had a good experience with them. On a Sunday, I got 4 new tires and a safety check. I called in ahead of time to see if they had my size, they didn't, but said they would bring some in from Pearl Ridge. I arrived and started talking to the lady at the front about the services I needed. When she told me the price I cringed a little and asked if she could give me a discount. ON THE SPOT SHE GAVE ME $100 OFF! The tires came in just as I was done talking to her and they started working on it right away. About an hour and a half later they were done.

Went to COSTCO for the best deal. NOT! Limited selection and a long wait. Opted to go to LEX's instead. Not only was the selection greater, but the prices were comparable, and the wait was less than half. My breaks were squealing SUPER BAD and servco wouldnt take me until A month and a half later. Got there a little before 10:30am. Only con i can think of is how confusing the car drop off can be when its your first time. Anyway, i asked and they were friendly and helped a lost customer (myself). Guy came out (Base i think is his name), checked my truck, input me in the system, he explained everything thoroughly and was very polite. Got a call a little while later about what would be needed and the approximate price. I agreed to the procedures. At 5:20 i got a text message saying my truck was done. I took my car in because I had a flat tire. I usually go to Sears Ala Moana, but it just closed down. Luckily, Lex Brodie's offers "free tire repair" for Sears customers. They found a small nail in my tire and repaired it for free. Yay! Sure, it took a little longer but that's because they had A LOT of cars to work on. Their parking lot was literally packed!
