This is long overdue I came in with a flat tire from Walmart I made it here and they took me in even though they had an hour left and replaced my tires and were very good to me they gave me the best value they could Harold especially was my contact upon entry he's the manager and he was kind and considerate and understood my budget they went above and beyond and stayed overtime to make sure my tires were all set to go thank you again now I'm back from my third rotation and they're still the greatest place I recommend for tire needs they also do oil changes. So many things to take advantage of. Thank you again Harold for being so good to me and my vehicle... 🙂

Couldn’t be happier with my experience. Harold, the store manager, was able to get my car in the same day to do an alignment and rebalance my tires. I had them originally mounted and balanced at a Monro on prospect street but my car was shaking on the highway so I brought it in. They were able to confirm that the tires weren’t balanced correctly at Monro and remedied the problem. Rides as smooth as silk now thanks to Harold and his team!

Rick Conner was so kind and helpful! I got a flat tire on the Sunday before Christmas and not only was Goodyear open, but his team was able to plug it in under an hour! I will say that the management is professional, responsive, and helpful. But, my experience was not great. Bought a new to me vehicle that had snow tires on it, which I had to change. They put the snow tires in the vehicle without a bag after they put the new tires on and it greased up the carpet. Had to spend an hour going back to get it cleaned, and it's never quite the same. Then, within a week I had my tire pressure light came on 3 times and had to put air in. So had to go back and get that fixed. My husband spent another hour there for that and I spent lots of time over the week adding air. So, nice management, questionable work.

Calling around looking for tire prices I gave Goodyear in West Hartford a try. I spoke with Tony who was very knowledgeable and was able to get me on the schedule the same day. The waiting area was clean, the shop was well stocked and organized. Tony was able to clearly communicate the differences in the tires and gave me the best prices around. Rick Conner and his team are complete LIFE SAVERS!! If I could rate 11 stars, I would in a heartbeat!! My mom and I will forever be in their debt for not only saving other peoples lives on the road, but also ours. My mom and I are healthcare workers traveling from Maine to Pennsylvania to visit my sister. Last week I went to a new auto shop in my home state to get new tires for this trip. Once we entered Connecticut, my car started to make loud helicopter noises when I would let up on the gas, causing the car to shake. We had trouble finding mechanic auto shops open, as it of course is a Sunday of all days. We called a Goodyear in Vernon, CT first and talked with Roger. He unfortunately didn’t have any availability for the day to help, however, he’s an absolute angel! Not only did Roger completely go out of his way to talk with Rick in this West Hartford location, but he also called me back, explained that Rick could squeeze me in, and then called him back to confirm that I was on my way! Roger helped make this horrible situation less stressful and I’m wicked thankful for him too! After Rick and his team diagnosed my car, Rick sat down with us and explained that we were down to only one lug nut tightened on my tire. My heart sunk realizing the situation of how lucky we were to be sitting in those seats with him. With all that said and fixed, I wish Rick was closer, as he’s a man that I’d completely trust with my car. Thank you Rick for making time in your busy day to save our road trip and most importantly, save lives!♥️

Got a good deal on tires. Very helpful. Free alignment. Didn't have to wait long. Went out , had lunch and in less than an hour they were done. There was actually no waiting. Went to the pepboys across the street only to find that they wanted me to leave my car because there were 4 other people ahead of me. Not at Goodyear though! Flat tire in the middle of ef-ing no where made me angry, I felt better after I drove the car. There's something about an alignment that makes you put more confidence on the ability of your car. He took the time to show me what was wrong with the tire and even put more air in my other tires which was an added bonus! Probably the best experience at an auto shop I have ever received. Everyone was extremely friendly, especially the man at the desk named Rich (if I remember correctly). I came in with a flat tire and a stripped lug nut and was told originally that I was going to have to pay $250 for a brand new tire. They inspected the tire and realized they could salvage it. They patched the flat and screwed in the remaining lug nuts free of charge even with 45 minutes of labor. Again, the man at the front desk was incredible and knowledgeable about the whole ordeal. I would definitely trust them with anything.

Very quick and Great customer service. I had tire low pressur issue going on for couple weeks. I got appointment here and they fixed it in less than one hour. Cherry on the top was- service charge. As there was small nail in the tire and it was fixable. So they charge me zero dollar. Very honest to the customer. Contrary to some of the other reviews, I've had excellent experience at this Goodyear location. I've been bringing my cars there for years. Harold, the Manager, and his team are very customer service oriented. When I got in my car this past Sunday, I realized that I had picked up a piece of metal on my back left tire and I was concerned that I could have a big problem if I didn't take care of it immediately. I drove over to Goodyear and they mounted my donut tire in less than 20 minutes and had me on my way. They ordered a replacement tire for me that arrived on Monday. Harold called me to let me know that my tire was in and that I should stop by to switch it for the donut. Again, I was in and out of the Goodyear facility in less than 20 minutes. Great service and a minimum of disruption in my schedule. I highly recommend this Goodyear!

I may have gotten lucky to be taken in quickly due to a no-show appointment, but Store Manager Harold W. was kind and helpful in trying to get me in to fix my tire after running over a nail and having my tire go almost flat on the highway. Having kids in the car and being 25 minutes from home, I just wanted to get home safely and Harold went above and beyond to help make that happen. I have to admit, this was probably one of the best auto service interactions that I have ever had. This was my third car that I have taken in to Goodyear. This time, I was desperate to get my flat tire repaired. I called Goodyear Elmwood. Earl, the manager, told me to drop off the car and they will get it done. I dropped it off at noon and they called me back at about 2:15 pm to let me know the car was done. Earl was very professional and the service was great. I would go there again for any car service, especially tires and wheels.

I had to make an emergency stop late on Fri. almost at closing because of a nail in my tire. Harold the Store Mgr. was nice enough to have it fixed as it was evident he and his staff was about to go home for the night and he did it at no cost. Since tires was needed on my Lady's car we thought that it was necessary to get those tires from his store despite that she lives in Long Island. We had them installed on Mon. He gave us a great price on new tires and alignment and they did a great job. I would recommend anyone looking for tires to check out Goodyear in Elmwood, West Hartford. I had such a great experience at Goodyear Auto Service. They have an amazing staff, very fair, friendly, treated me with respect and a nice smile (The front desk is nicely dressed. What an excellent place! I had an issue at winsted Monro (they tried to screw me over) and had to go elsewhere (check out winsted monro google review for story). I called goodyear and talked to Rick and he took amazing care of me. They went above and beyond helping me out and i can't be more grateful. Everyone there was super friendly and wore masks! Rick even offered to dispose of my death trap tires for me to help me out. Later on i went to a dealership and was going to do a trade in my pos car so i wanted to keep my awesome winter tires. Goodyear held onto my old tires for me and helped load them in for me! I have been having so many issues with auto places in my area and it was such a relief to be able to to leave happy and able to give an awesome review. If i wasn't getting a new car that had perks at the dealership, would be driving the 40 minutes one way just because of this experience. Thank you for being so great Rick and the entire team!!!!

I recently had a flat tire for which I called them and scheduled an appointment. On arrival, I was greeted by the store manager Mr. Harold Wolliston in a very pleasing manner. I was told it will take an hour to fix my flat tire and meanwhile I should wait in the waiting lounge. Within 45 minutes my car was ready to go. The donut and all the tools were properly arranged in my car trunk without any mess. And surprisingly all this was done for free as a customer service gesture. One of my tires was destroyed on a long drive and I needed an exact match to replace that one on my AWD Subaru. Harold, the manager at Goodyear, answered the phone and said they didn't have my specific tire in stock but he could get it there - get this - in two hours. He was true to his word and in 2 1/2 hours I rolled out of there with the matched tire purchased and installed at a fair price. No up-selling, no BS, just straight-up excellent customer service. I am a fan and I'll go back.

I had a nail in one of my tires. I went to many places and the waiting time was unbelievably long; some up to 3 to 4 Hrs. I drove into their office on Dec 1 and explained my situation. Just the best service experience I have had in a while. When I called about a nail in one of my tires, Ismael Robles scheduled an appointment for the afternoon of the day I called. On my way over, I hit a really bad pothole and got a flat tire. Tire repair and replacement plus four-wheel alignment were completed in just over an hour, with full explanations of what needed to be done. Next time I need some sort of tire service, this is where I'll go.

My dad who is a senior citizen has been taking all of his vehicles to the Elmwood Good year for the past 20 years and have always had great service. Today my dad dropped his key fob in between the driver seat and center counsel. He could not reach to get them himself. I called the insurance co and they sent a guy from road service and he wasn't able to get them out either. My last hope was to call Elmwood Goodyear. I spoke to Carlos Hernandez who is the service manager, he understood the problem and said to come down. OMG, in less than 5 minutes Carlos pulled out the keys. This is why my dad has been doing business with Elmwood Goodyear for the past 20 years because of kind, caring and compassion person such as Carlos. Thank you so much Carlos!!

Great service. Store manager, Harold Wolliston, was very helpful. They repair (if possible) flat tires for free as a courtesy, no matter where those tires were purchased. I caught a nail in my tire on a brand new lease. Goodyear promtly solved my headache, and refused to take any money for the service! Thanks again Harold!

Had a slow leak in my tire - brought it in early (7:45ish AM) - manager was professional and a pleasure to deal with, they found and fixed the issue (nail in tire) in ~45mins and I was on my way. Also, apparently, patching tires is comped at Goodyear as an effort to build goodwill with customers for future tire service/sales. Will be on my short list for future tire service.
