I haven’t spent the $ on wheels in several years but so glad I went out here to work with this team! Ryan was exceptional in helping me pick what I wanted. At the end of everything I got my truck home and wasn’t completely satisfied with the leveling kit we picked. I took it out to show them what I was talking about and Ryan immediately made me an appointment to get it changed! (He didn’t have to do that)These guys are top notch and stand behind quality and aesthetics! All the way from Ryan up front, the installers that took it for a test run to Jordan all checking it out and seeing if I was happy!! I will always recommend Ryan & Earl’s West as they are appreciated!

Just bought set of Falken tires for my Silverado. The guys took great care of me. All are knowledgeable & on point! Lifetime rotation & balance! At least give these guys a call if buying wheels or tires for car or truck. Tires look SWEET! 04/27/22 Purchased my second set of tires from Jordan & the guys for my Ram & could not be happier. Earl's has got to be the best auto-related company I've ever worked with, and I'm so glad I found them! Now I don't ever have to look for auto-places again. Good riddance Car-X and Big-O! I worked with Earl at the downtown location, and he was kind enough to pick up my car from this West location to do the work and brought it back. The West location had a very large showroom with what seemed like a hundred wheels and tires on display. Staff were very nice at the counter. I'll absolutely be coming back!

These guys are the best when it comes to wheels and tires. I do a seasonal switch (winter wheels to summer wheels, and reverse) and I've never had a problem. I've tried other places because they were closer after I moved...never again. I'm making my trip back to Earl's Tire West for this service! TPMS problem? Earl's Tire will fix it easily! Need new tires? Look no further, these guys have the selection and great prices...I've bought three sets from them, including my winter tires. While I haven't used them for all the services they offer, but when it comes to wheels and tires, Earl's Tire West is hands down the best.

I feel like everytime I make a purchase here I feel I am free to review. If you go anywhere else for wheels or tires within 250 miles of Des Moines, you are doing it wrong. Ryan works his butt off to get you what you need for prices you won't get anywhere else. Jordan runs such a clean well oiled business, that there are no issues. Guys in the back get the work done earlier than promised. Buy local, give these guys a shot, I promise you will not be disappointed!

I had to get four new tires last week on my 2016 Cruze. I couldn't be happier with the result. Earl's Tire West was quick to get me in for an appointment. The staff was very friendly and professional when dropping off and picking up my car. It only took them two hours to get it all done. It's like I'm driving a brand new car - so smooth. Thank you, Earl's! The price was right and the service was incredible!

This is a solid company. I was just looking for 1 slightly used tire. The team was able to get me in for an appointment when I walked in, even though when I previously messaged them on Facebook, the appointment didn't get entered in their system. The tire they outfitted my vehicle with looked good, but ended up having issues. I had to take my car back in to see what they could do. Fortunately, Jordan was able to get the right sized tire at another location. This one ended up being brand new, and he went ahead and drove there and back that day so that my car would be ready that afternoon. While not everything went exactly smooth with my experience, the team made things right for me, and at no additional cost.

We were referred to Earl's after the CarX we went too rotated our tires, but told us they couldn't balance them b/c they were too big. I will be honest, going into this and hearing the name "Earl's Tires" I did not have high hopes, and I was already upset about the service we got from CarX. But they blew me away. The inside of the shop was very clean, well designed, and they had an impressive display of products. The guys behind the desk were very knowledgeable, helpful, and really set reasonable expectations in the beginning. They advised me off the bat they would do the best they could, but instantly they could tell the tires had not been balanced frequent enough in the past. This was our first tire rotation since we bought the '18 Jeep, and we had assumed the dealership had done that before us buying. We assumed wrong. But Earl's promised they would do the best they could with balancing first, and if we still had issues then they would work with us on options. They finished the work very quickly, about 45 mins less than they told me it would take. Also they explained very throughly to me exactly what they did and how far off balance each tire was. SUPER helpful! I appreciated their honesty and that they really did kind of 'under promise & over deliver'. I was very pleasently surprised. Thank you Earl's!

This place Is great. Their customer service is amazing. We have gotten several sets of wheels and tires from them and everything has always ran smooth and quickly. We had a problem once but Ryan stepped in and took care of everything. There's no other place I'd go to get wheels and tires.

This is the best place in Des Moines for tires and custom wheels. I have had nothing, but professional friendly service from Jordan, Ryan, and all of the other staff. In the past I have had several bad experiences at other shops and this place has never let me down. They work on all kinds of custom and exotic vehicles. I wouldn't trust my vehicles with anyone else in the area.

Have to say this is the nicest group of guys you'll ever meet. Being the young lady I am I was a little nervous about taking my car in. My tires were shipped to them quickly and they wasted no time getting me an appointment that worked for my schedule. I've got a little knowledge of cars/tires but nothing like these guys 😀. I've been taken advantage of before from tire places but these guys know their stuff and will go the extra mile for you. I'll definitely be seeing them for all my tire needs in the future!

The staff is always extremely friendly and I've never found a group of people that are more knowledgable when it comes to wheels/tires. I frequently recommend them to friends and always hear they took great care of them. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a good tire/wheel shop on the west side of town.

Awesome place!! I had my rear drivers side pop (from my aggressive driving LOL) they had ordered a new one for me, but when my appointment time came this morning, it still hadn't come in. We rescheduled to later today, and they were very apologetic and gave me a gift card for the inconvenience (which they didn't need to do!!). They switched and changed my tire out pretty quickly, which is another double thumbs up. Just goes to show, they really do care for their customers and want you to keep coming back. These guys will be my permanent go to place for anything I need. 👍🏼👍🏼

Had a flat tire fixed last week, and it started to leak again so I contacted Jordan at shop. He apologized and told me to bring it in over lunch to get fixed. They were extremely busy, so Jordan gave me keys to his personal truck so I would not be late getting back to work from lunch. He said he would drop my car off to me when it was done. Very impressed with service and how they take care of a customer!

These guys are FANTASTIC!!! I would have been an easy mark for a business of lesser quality. Visiting from out of state, I brought in my elderly mother's vehicle with air leaking out of the tire like crazy every time I unscrewed the cap on the valve stem. Unlike some "Other Guys", they fixed it within minutes, I didn't need an appointment & they didn't lecture me about needing a whole new set of tires on a car that gets driven less than 200 miles a year. I realize a tire valve stem repair is not a major thing, but I sure will be coming here FIRST when other family members need tires. Great people, great place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I recently purchased some wheels for my wifes car from Earl's Tire. I had heard great things about them. The install went fine but we had a flat the next day that damaged the tire. Jordan took the negative feeling I had and turned me into a customer for life. They did all the right things to make the issue right and apologized for the mishap. I was extremely pleased with their response. No issues at all would have been better but when there was an issue, their true colors shined. Best place to go. Ryan helped me with my purchase, and I was not an easy customer. I was unsure of what specs I wanted, but knew I wanted some aftermarket wheels. He actually advised me to a different brand of wheels, because they were lighter and costed less. This is something you do not see anymore. He knew I worked near by, and even offered to come pick up and drop off my car if I couldn't make it out. I took my car in on a Saturday, and they had me done within the hour, just like he had quoted me. I will definitely be back to buy more wheels, and tell everyone who is interested in purchasing new wheels, to only go here.

I have read a number of great reviews for this location and I unfortunately cannot say my overall experience coincidences. I give this location the above rating due to a service being completed, however I work in the customer service industry and this location lacks a good customer service skill-set. I get the sense they're about making money and I won't fault them for that, but a successful business not only exceeds in terms of revenue but also in their operating in a territory of positive sentiment. No trust was built between this consumer and their establishment so I can say with great certainty this was my first and will be my last encounter.

I couldnt be happier with Ryan & his whole staff at Earls West. I called Ryan about a week ago & asked him to order a set of 20x12 fuel Wheels for my Ford F350 which he did but he informed me how far out they would stick from my truck. I didn't care thats what I wanted, or so I thought. :) I got there last Saturday to have them mounted & they were WAY to wide for me & my truck. No problem said the staff so I left wo my new wheels :( Ryan called me on Monday of this week & asked what I wanted instead. He didn't try & push one style or another. I told him I would like to go w the 20x10 instead to which he agreed would look much better (I shouldve listened the 1st time) anyways, he ordered them tues morning & the new wheels arrived today which he promptly got me right in & got them on my truck & I COULD NOT be happier w the look, the stance, the professionalism of everyone in the shop! If you are looking for wheels, tires or any other service they provide, do yourself a favor & go see Ryan & his staff! You will NOT be disappointed.
