Stopped in at the location on Godown Road in Columbus, Ohio November 22nd. I was only in town for the day, but my tail light was out and needed to be replaced. The store manager, Larry, had a full schedule, and couldn’t get me in based on their workload. So, he personally replaced the lightbulb for me. Larry has always gone above and beyond for his customers. I would highly recommend Larry at his Goodyear staff.

Came in same day due to a nail in my tire, I wasn’t interested in patching since I was already set for an appt to replace all 4 tires. I asked if they could just replace all the tires while I was there and was told “yes” but the work could possibly run into the next morning. No problem, so I left my vehicle. Got a call it was done 4 hours later! That’s the kind of service this busy mom needs. Under promise and over deliver! Thanks guys, I’ll be back for sure.

Had an oil change and three new tires put on. All of that was perfect. The tire-I-kept’s sensor was ruined by too much fix a flat and also had to be replaced. Unfortunately the technician missed that part of the notes. Which happens, but I’m glad I clarified my needs before the appointment and before payment; since I had been so thorough they went ahead and squeezed me in as soon as I turned back around and arrived. Allowing me to get everything done still. The lesson here is being humble and full of forgiveness in any situation but especially minor inconveniences. Because that makes it much easier for the bigger stuff. And allows people to retain their reputation. Thanks for fixing that for me. And listening to my concerns in the only way I could present them. I appreciate the accommodations you made for my disability as well. That was very helpful. 😇

There is a reason this place is ALWAYS packed. It's because they are very honest/fair with customers and their prices are reasonable. I highly recommend them. Edit took away one star because they always try to fix EVERY little thing wrong with your car and hit you with a giant bill. Sometimes its ok to just fix the necessary issues.

First time here. After 35 years at a service center that just closed, I had a lot of questions about preventive maintenance for my well maintained old Volvo. A very helpful worker handed me a colorful checklist they said they complete with each oil change at no extra cost. A very nice worker called to tell me I take good care of my car and they found nothing to fix. But when I picked up the car, there was no checklist. Only a line on my invoice for $0 stating the checkup had been completed. A very apologetic worker said he didn't usually work at that location and didn't know why they didn't fill out the form. I'll give them a second chance. Communication and trust is the key for me with car repairs. Not there yet.

I was in Columbus visiting friends and had a leaking tire issue. I drive a Tesla and several other shops said they do no work on Tesla’s even flat tires. They were quick about getting my oil change since I was waiting. Always had good service at this location. One problem was a bad grease/grime mark from the tech's shoe on the door trim. Very ugly on tan interior. Have cleaned it but there is a stain that I will try again to clean again, but it will always remind me of careless tech.

Just dropping in to thank all the staff at Godown Rd. location. It's been a few months since my last service but went by a week or so ago with a question and Larry put my concerns to rest. I've been going there for years for services ranging from regular maintenance, transmission check up, new tires several times and other services. They also offer many tips that in the long run can save folks future expense like for example the importance of keeping the battery clean, making sure tires are properly inflated, getting the winter road chemicals from the under carriage cleaned off at car wash. For peace of mind related to my truck performance they are the folks to go to.

Would have given 5 stars but I paid a ton for new battery! That may not have anything to do with Boyd’s, and I was in a situation where I didn’t have time to shop around. I highly recommend Boyd's autoservice. I used to do most of the maintenance on our autos including alternators, brakes, rotors, etc. Boyd's prices, work ethic, customer service and their excellent diagnostics has me taking our autos to Boyd's for everything except oil changes...which I continue to do myself. They have even helped me with my '62 Corvette. Don't hesitate - go to Boyd's!

When I made my appointment to have my car serviced, I was a little worried if i would be safe staying in the waiting area because of COVID. My concerns evaporated as soon as I walked in. Seating was well placed to accommodate for social distancing and the area was spotless. Sanitizing supplies and a cleaning log was kept in plain sight. Very trustworthy, don't try to push any services on you. I know they don't rush and make a mistake they do a great job. I get my oil changed regularly here. It's a little slow if you "wait for it" but if you drop it off it's reasonable. Worth the wait to get it done right.

I have found Boyd's Tire & Service Center to be the best car repair center I have ever interacted with. They are open and honest with the customer and have always gone out of their way to get me the best price possible. Most places I have been try to nickle and dime you at every turn but I have not found this to be the case with Boyd's. My wife and I both own hybrid cars and have taken both vehicles to Boyd's for large repair jobs. The repairs have always been completed with excellence and in a very timely fashion. Boyd's Tire & Service had incredible service, speed, and honesty in dealing with my car. Something was wrong with my engine causing it not to start, so I took it there for diagnostics and hoping for an easy repair. After diagnosing (in just a couple hours after having it towed there) they were honest with me and told me the repair cost would probably be more than the worth of my car, and afterwards let me leave it there for a week in order to get things arranged, let me use their facilities to clean out my car to prepare it for salvage, and helped me facilitate the salvage process. They also only charged me for the actual time spent diagnosing my car- half of what I was originally quoted. To top it off they did it all with incredibly friendly service. I would definitely recommend Boyd's to anyone in Columbus and will be back for any future needs.

Been going to Boyds on Godown for years. Just had another good experience having my truck serviced. While servicing it Larry found a big screw in my tire that I was unaware of and fixed it for me. Just bought those tires from them a few months ago - big 22" and not cheap at all but by standards Larry gave me a better deal on them than any other shop would have done. I miss Ryan but Andy rose to the occasion and offers the same great servicing as well as explaining in detail what they done while my truck was in service

I had some sounds and thought it was my brakes going bad so I called over to Boyd's. The manager, Larry, got me in right away. The technician took my car for a test drive and I saw him checking underneath pretty carefully. They came back with really good news about the brakes and detected another problem that I should get fixed in the future, but nothing that needed done urgently. They took the time to check it out and documented their findings well for me. When I went to settle up there was no charge and Larry did take the time to explain what expenses I will face when I do get the other repairs done. I am totally at ease and confident that when I bring my car in next time it's going to be fixed properly and without hidden costs...I can totally recommend Boyd's and the team there.

I love this place. They're very kind and are always trying to get you a good deal. I wrecked my tire by running over a nail, buy had bought tires from them just under a year ago. The salesman charged me for road hazard insurance at $10.30, and then applied that to the same bill so that I didn't have to pay $103 for a new tire. What I expected to be a bill for $150 ended up being just $30.40. My only complaint is very minor. The guys there do a poor job at communicating what's going on, if you should sit down, what exactly they're doing with your car. It's always worked out in the end -- they know their stuff -- but I'd just appreciate being kept up to date so I know what's going on.

Let me tell you why I continue to go to Boyd‘s. I recently had shoulder surgery so I am not as handy as usual. The low pressure light in my car kept coming on. I filled the tires multiple times and the light would not go off. I went to Boyd’s and asked them if they could help. The gentleman took time out of what he was doing and went outside and verified the tire pressure in each of my tires. He helped me figure out that there is a reset button in my car that I was unaware of that fixed the issue. Whrn I asked how much I owed, he would not to worry about it. That is how customer device should be!

Middle of winter last year, snowing like crazy, and a bolt holding my serpantine belt sheared off on Bethel Road. Alternator dead, running off the battery, hoping it would last me long enough to at least get somewhere I could keep warm if it died...And thank god my GPS took me to Boyd's. These guys are CLASS. They were busy with oil changes, but a guy taking a coffee break was more than happy to come outside with me in the snow to check my belt. They fixed me up as soon as they could, and when I told them I had class in a few hours, they offered to drive me to OSU's main campus! Didn't need the ride, but that's the kinda guys they are. I've been going to them for everything every since, no exceptions.

Had a new tire installed. They did a poor job, two of the tires are leeking.I went back to the shop again, they did not fix my tire they messed up my tpm sensor. I went back to the shop again and they cannot do anything because they are closed. But thet fixed my tire on monday free of charge.
