Very thankful God placed us near this tire company when our tire went flat. We were on our way to a ladies conference traveling from Louisiana to Gatlinburg! They were super! They could have charged us much more than they did! We were at their mercy, instead they were very fair, understandable, and illustrated great Christian values!

While traveling to the mountains to a Women’s conference one of our vans had some tire troubles. J and K was the nearest tire shop to us. We called them and asked about a road service call, which they weren’t able to provide but assured us that when we could get the tire to him he would fix us up. We were able to limp the van into their location, where they we nothing but professional and shared great concern for our situation. In a situation where this business could have absolutely taken advantage of 22 women in a vulnerable state, they were very kind and made sure that everything we needed was taken care of and in a timely matter. The man who helped us care for us as though we were family and put us back on the road safely. We would 100% recommend this business!

My husband has been purchasing tires and getting our oil changes from Kurt since he opened the shop and absolutely loves the place. He's been able to get ALL sizes of tires for us at very reasonable prices. A while back, he was even able to figure out what was wrong with my husbands transmission that the dealership couldn't even figure out! My husband also loves the hats Kurt gives him every once in awhile. Outstanding Business! We trust our vehicles and tire needs with him!

I happened upon J & K by chance when I discovered a tire was about to blow on I-59 on my way to the TN mountains. I was bailed out of a bad situation by Kirk, the owner and he sold me two new tires at a very reasonable price. I needed tires on my other car and drove from Birmingham to Steele the next week to get 4 new tires. I also needed brakes and an alignment. All of those services cost me less than two tires would have in Birmingham and it took less than an hour. I wish there was a way that I could give 6 stars to J & K. Integrity, competency, and just really great experience were what the delivered.

Kurt (The Owner) is very reasonable on pricing, can usually have the tires you want on the same day (go or call early) and installed by competent, well trained technicians. I drive from Georgia just to get my tire needs on my vehicles.

I developed a severe trailer tire problem (due to dry rot) on the interstate. They were recommended by a local I met at a nearby gas station. I called them then limped to their shop. I was back on the road with two new tires that cost less than those at Tractor Supply within 15 minutes! I felt like the service was performed by a NASCAR pit crew! I highly recommend! They're great folks!

We were traveling through the area and needed emergency tire help at 5:45p on a Friday afternoon. And it was Labor Day weekend! The shop was ready to close, but they found a solution for a unique need on my car. The staff was helpful and provided great value for us, even though we are probably a one-time customer. Picked up a screw in my tire at the supercharger at Love's gas station before business hours of J&k tires. Fortunately for me a young man named Kyle was in the shop preparing for the day. He came out and helped me immediately and was finished in just a few minutes. He also checked my other tires and topped off the tires to the appropriate air pressure. This is the best customer service I've ever had. They give it to you straight with no B.S. We bought a set of tires & the owner went over every option with us. Covering benefits, cost comparisons & quality. Never once did he try to push the most expensive thing on us. He helped us find the best the best tires for our needs at the best price. We have tire replacement & repair insurance for the life of the tires. They also do oil changes & they give free tire rotation with the oil changes. They make sure to use the correct oil for your specific car. The service is extremely fast even when busy. They also do brakes & tune ups. I know this is where we will be going when we need new brakes. I used Bob's tires in Attalla for years. But after twice having problems with my brakes after they worked on them, once causing an accident. Plus always paying high prices for tires that would get lumps a couple of months after buying them, I decided to never go back. J&K Tire is the best in the area. Don't take the risk of faulty work & poor quality at high prices. Just go to J&K.
