Mediocre at BEST. Lemme give you the skinny cuz the other details are miniscule: Appointment Time was given & Confirmed by Technician, my car proceeds to sit like it's on display (only cuz parallel parking on that side of the bldg.) for 1hr 32min UNTOUCHED, finally gets four(4) brand new tires put on, & all for a whopping wait-time of only 25~30min. Technician-shortage or not, an appointment time is an appointment time so perhaps an/-y update(s) or recommendations for intermediary plans due to wait-time. I like these guys, so thankfully their respectable techs have somethin' to smooth over my disgruntlement regarding how long i sat in the lobby watching re-run after re-run of the massively syndicated sitcom, "FRIENDS", without so much as a whisper regarding the status of my car and its lack of movement from the front of the store. 3outof5, maybe it just wasn't their day -- i know for daggum sure it wasn't my day lol.

Over the course of 4.5 years I can truly say this NTB has gone above and beyond. Never have an issue with appointments etc. Bruce (service manager) has always taken good care of my needs of service on my car. He’s professional, communicates well. I can rest assured my car is in good hands here. Plus he has beautiful green eyes. Lol

Along For The Ride

Had my vehicle towed here yesterday, after going to 2 shops that could not work on the car. NTB fit us in with no problem, they were very accommodating. Bruce was working at the front counter, and he really took care of us during our visit! His customer service made us feel welcomed, and that we were in good hands after receiving horrible service at the other repair shops. Bruce, thank you! You have won a customer for life! NTB IS THE BEST!!

To be honest with you, the phenomenal and outright willingness of the customer service at the NTB facility located at 5301 Baltimore National Pike has conceived my desire to become a regular customer for this particular location. My battery had died in a nearby parking lot and, fortunately for me, I saw NTB approximately a quarter of a mile away. I walked into their facility and enlightened the staff of my plight. Without hesitation, Matt and Spencer jumped right up and offered their empathetic assistance!! Matt and Spencer grabbed their booster pack and walked the quarter of a mile to my vehicle. They finessed their way through the process and within a couple of minutes, BAM! My car started. I offered Matt and Spencer compensation but they humbly denied. It is important that I highlight this because all companies should value the way that their employees treat all customers and the general public; it truly can make or break a business. Their careful consideration and good-will towards the general bystander/non-customer was an evident investment for the company. Matt and Spencer created a brand new customer out of me, which is fortunate for the company because I require a lot of oil changes due to my extensive travels to work in Arlington, VA and my travels to my child in southwestern Florida. Please ensure that Matt and Spencer are being recognised for their professional and humanitarian ethics. These gentlemen were gold for my unfortunate situation and will be gold for my future business.

MAJOR shoutouts to Mr. Kenny, of whom not only took the liberty & initiative to field my service-request/appointment while the Store Manager helped to train a newer employee on their system & whatnot, but was willing to go the extra mile-and-a-half to assess the visibly-deflated Honda CR-V tire that had recently been punctured with a drywall screw. ON TOP OF IT ALL he exuded the most gracious & most humble way of handling new/day-to-day clients, even sending me back on my way & out onto the road without so much as a second-thought on charging for his 30~45min of assistance!! Utmost gratitude & thanks to KENNY & these guys for putting ZERO hassle into my otherwise hectic workweek. Will absolutely recommend this location whilst it's got good folks like Kenny & Co. onboard to help with your vehicle's needs -- now i want to cancel the installation of my car's four(4) old tyres just to bring them over to NTB(Bmore) so that i can graciously pay for the expert service this time around!!! (Dunkin Donuts 12-pk Assortment certainly does not suffice for the extraordinary crew's help this morning!!!!!!!!)

On Monday 2-21-22 I needed to replace a tire on my truck I called around to several NTB’s to see who have my tire and also will be able to mount and balance my tire. Over the phone I spoke with a gentleman McKinley Who let me know that they are currently max to capacity but if I’m able to wait around that his technician will be able to squeeze me in at the end of the night. I was overjoyed with gratitude because I needed my truck to get back to work on Tuesday. I want to recognize ask Kenny the technician. Who had several cars to handle but still manage to fit my truck in at the end of the night. I truly Appreciate Both McKinley & Kenny. For going above and beyond their call of duty to assist me. This is my second at this location and They always take great care of my vehicles. They both need raises

My experience was great today. I was in and out. Bruce customer service was professional and he went above and beyond to meet my car needs. He informed me with service I can try at a later time as well with no pressure to add today. There were no hidden fees which was awesome because my experience in the past at other places made me upset. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change at another location. Upon arriving there at the scheduled time it was closed. After waiting and calling the store number several times. I decided to leave. I then called the Baltimore National Pike location and spoke to Andre. He was extremely professional and attentive. Andre allowed me to vent and once I was finished he began to resolve my issue. Although the store had a fully booked schedule for that day Andre told me to come in and assured me that it would be serviced that day. I dropped my car off and within a few hours I received a call informing me that my car was ready. To top off this experience my car was serviced free of charge for the inconvenience. I would recommend this NTB location to anyone. The customer service he provided not only to me but other customers there was exemplary. Andre is AWESOME!!!! The entire staff here is customer oriented. Store looks nice to be a mechanic shop. The manager Jack is very dedicated and respectful. Technicians are very experienced and speedy. No issues nor complaints. Major repairs were done and the vehicle runs smoothly again. Please bring your vehicle here and you will get what your money pays for. They will even explain step by step what is the issue and how it needs to be fixed all while finding you the best pricing available.

He told me to come back the next day for a tire repair because they were about to close and he would make sure that Jack and Kenny repaired my tire. Came in for a Oil change that i set up with Dre who is extremely professional on the phone and in person. There store manager Jack and his team noticed that my truck had inner tire damage while up on the lift which would of gave me a blow out soon since I must of hit something. Great service great price on the 2 tires i purchased got me out the door very fast. Also very clean establishment the staff was cleaning and made sure everyone was apart during this covid problem.

The reason why I'm giving this place a 4 out of 5 stars is because technically I haven't had any work done,however they were very honest and completely up front with me about the condition of my car and how getting the work done that I would need could lead to a rabbit hole of problems and might not be worth the investment.

Driving on Rt 40 and the low tire indicator came on. I drove in to check my tire and found a screw in the tread. Tony said, “ no problem we can take care of it for you!” 45 mins later I was back in route to my appointment. This team of guys are Pleasant and very accommodating. I recommend this location highly!

I always get excellent service at this location. I use to frequent another locations and felt like they always nickeled and dimed. They also refused to do simple repairs/services like oil changes and tire rotations unless I agreed to do more expensive work. This location has never done that. They’ve always done what’s requested and in a timely manner. The customer service is also amazing. I’ve had frequent and pleasant interactions with Jack, Melvin and Andre, the management and customer service team. I never feel like they are trying to take advantage of me, which I’ve experienced at other auto shops.

(This is the NTB by Planet Fitness) I’ve come to this location a few times and am always greeted with friendly and professional staff. They are knowledgeable and tell you everything going on with your car. I’m in here waiting now for an oil change and a tire replacement, and I was assisted by Andre F. Andre has the best customer service and was very patient with all of my questions. I heard him answer the phone quite a few times and he sounds familiar with each customer. I took my car to get an alignment today and only an alignment and came back with news I didn’t know was wrong with my car, they could’ve just did my alignment and took my money like any other car service would but they didn’t they told me I needed lower control arms. I would like to personally say thank you to the staff at Merchants. I contacted them after my car wouldn't start as I was passing through MD. They were closing in an hour but George took the time to help me diagnose the problem via phone (at least 20 minute call). I ended up having to get my car towed the next morning and the staff at this location were so accommodating, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Even though they weren't able to fix my car (it was something only Ford could fix) they didn't even charge me. They did the research and knew exactly what the problem was. I appreciate the staff so much, they helped so much during this emergency I was having. I highly recommend Merchants!!

Good work although I am not a fan of the fine print hidden charges I paid $1200 for new brakes I was supposed to get $100 rebate I only got back $50. They told me to call the number on the rebate, they referred me back to the store. It never got resolved.I’m still sore over that.

I made an online appointment for an oil change but when I got there at my appointment time it all of a sudden wasn’t in the system. Due to this I had to wait longer for the services which were fine but what’s the point of making an appointment if you can’t get in right at your appointment time. I showed the reservation email and everything and it was confirmed it was for that location so I don’t know if your online reservation system needs to be updated or the transfer process to in store.

I've always taken my trucks here for service. I had my truck towed in from an accident where it was totaled. They replaced the rear axle, tire, found a matching rim plus changed the egr valve, changed the spark plugs, cleaned the throttle body, changed the vacuum lines and even pulled the dent out for me...all done in 4 days. No complaints at all from me. Jack is the man! He is very impressive and he runs a tight ship there. Ntb is lucky to have him there.

First visit I went in for a tire patch. I got a very good explanation of why that wasn't possible when I had used fix-a-flat, and they rotated the tires all around so that I only had to buy two. Went back in for a busted taillight that didn't come back on with a bulb change - just had to pay the one hour minimum and eight bucks in parts. I've seen them explaining mechanical issues and the service they're doing to their customers - young, old, male, female. I feel like I could send anyone there to be treated with respect.

I came to this location as a walk-in, seeking a quick oil change. I did not imagine that it would actually be so quick! I was greeted by the manager, George Palma, before I even got to the desk. I requested an oil change for my car and was told by mr. Palma they could take my car in and it would take 45 minutes. Awesome, because I was going for a quick workout in the same shopping center. When I came back 45 minutes later, my car was actually ready! Never before had I been told a time and the shop actually stuck to it- and to be honest, it was done in 38 minutes. Mr. George Palma was great to work with, very personable, and was prompt in his service. I came in as a walk-in and left as a customer for life.
