The DAV was a very nice place to visit they had lots of new things lots of clothes lots of glassware blankets and furniture. The people running the store were very friendly very helpful and more than willing to help me with anything I needed.

I always enjoy the DAV. It's hard not to walk away with more than just for what I originally came. Great choices in about everything. And if you're wanting additional selections, go to any of the others. One aside, please reopen the DAV on Seneca and 47th St. South. It was my favorite and I miss it. I always gave there and shopped there, first.

Not much to say but I wear a 30 or 31 waist pant/short and have trouble finding my size ANYWHERE. Today I found 3 pair of shorts. Make sure and look at every pair and there actual tag.

This is the best store as far as the thrift store category. Find a lot of nice things here this stuff is not trash this ispeople's memories nice enough to give up for a great cause for the disabled veterans.Semper Fi (always faithful)

Well, what can I say about low price quality electronics, that I often find there and,,, also no Hassel sales folks to boot! I like the variety of it's there and more times than not, I am pleasing surprised about something that I wasn't even looking for, "It's kinda like a treasure hunt' not to mention that every thing made today often gets discarded or considered obsolete, It is nice to find something somewhere that is still available, and can be made use of some more, again.

It's a DAV, I feel I have realistic expectations, but this place is still a little iffy even considering all that. Prices seem a little high for donated, used items often in moderate to poor condition. Then there's the issue of marking things on the viewed surface with grease pencil (fronts of pictures, the top rather than the soles of shoes, etc.) After you smear the price on the front of something or grind it into leather, they're ruined, not just used... Kind of a crazy joint.

Prefer DAV over Goodwill. Prices aren't inflated as much, and its an actual charity. I've gotten some great deals at this location.

I always enjoyed shopping DAV thrifts! This time I came away with a table lamp, casters for my chair & another piece of antique silverplate to add to my collection! It helps also that I get a Veterans discount!

I like to stop by here for clothes, jigsaw puzzle, blankets, ceramic dishes, etc. On Thursdays there is a discount for seniors age 60 and up. They also have punch cards, one punch for every $10, after 10 punches you get 50% off next purchase.

This is a nice store. Unfortunately, it has closed down. There are a few DAV's left in town that I recommend. Central& Edgemoor and Seneca& Douglas(behind QT). Give DAV your $$ instead of Goodwill.

They have regular sales to move items. Shelves are always full. Ton of bric brac if that's what you like. I like seeing the people who work there as they are always friendly.

Good place to buy cheap quality items while also donating to a good cause. I saw the two bad reviews that got written and all I can say is that if your not looking to donate to a good cause by buying items from this store then dont come. Why do you need to try clothes on when you only paying a few dollars for the item anyway? And if you get home and it doesnt fit, redonate it. You should feel hapoy you helped someone less fortunate. And for the guy who is complaining about the furniture, try just buying one peice of a furniture set at any store anywhere and you will get the same reaction. Have some common sense.
