Love it here. Wish they would come down on prices on clothes and shoes. But they do have a savings card every $10 you get a stamp after 10stamps you get 50% your whole order. That is better then most places. And it helps our vets

I can find some good find some good deals on sporting goods, electronics, kitchenware, etc. But they really need to purge a lot of their clothes... it gets hard to navigate in there with all of the clothing racks.

We always check DAV before other stores for clothing and toys , sometimes furniture, we are losing our DAV stores so please support them and help veterans that are disabled. Two items I found at this store today I only took home the bow though.

This has been my favorite DAV since they opened nearly 25 years ago. I'm not a fan of the layout they've had for the past few years, but i suppose it discourages theft of electronics. Still good prices and they manage to keep things halfway organized no matter how hard their patrons try to create chaos.

Fun place to find treasures. I like that this store has tons more books than Goodwill normally does. They also have way more of a selection of household items. Definitely worth a visit.

The prices are fair on most things and there is usually a good variety of items to look at. I scored a tackle box for under 10 dollars that was filled to the brim with new lures, hooks, line and sinkers and bobbers.

Really nice stuff there. Seem a little understaffed but fine if you just want to wander the whole store. Why is all the really good stuff for store display only? Hard to get kids stuff fitted if changing rooms are full of boxes though. Get the DAV card, spend $100 get 50% off next purchase of already inexpensive stuff.

Had so much fun bargain hunting with my daughter today. The girl who I think was the store manager was so kind to us! If she wasn’t the manager, she should be. Her level of service was outstanding. I didn’t know that there are multiple DAV stores in Wichita, she gave me the list of all the locations. Great selection.

I love this store. They have made so many positive changes than less than two years ago. I know all the staff and they are the best. Sales are up because I can tell by the parking lot. It is always full. The best in Wichita. Not all the DAV'S ..IN WICHITA ARE LIKE THIS ONE.

I've shopped this store for at least 15 years. I hadn't been to the store for about 3 years and things have really changed. The store is more organized making it appear cleaner. I noticed several employees working at the time I was in the store, and not ONE of them asked how I was doing or if I needed help with anything. They were more busy talking among each other about what merchandise they liked! The only friendly service I received was when I checked out to leave. The cashier was a young male, ready to help me however he could. Although the store looks better, I think some costumer service training would be a good idea!

The resale store has an abundance of inventory and the selection is maintained in most areas. The checkout isn't as clear and welcoming as possible, and the safety is a concern when walking in aisles. Decent prices and easy parking access.

Hats off to the patient, kind, young man at the check out, with tattoos on your face (I only mention the tattoos because I've slept since then, so have inevitably forgotten your name, so am hoping your boss recognizes my description and you can receive proper recognition) the young man employee who stayed polite, calm and respectful while being yelled at in a combination of Vietnamese and English. Not the cleanest place I have shopped in, but very affordable prices on clothes, in particular. I think the sporting goods and shoes I would be able to afford if I was looking for something specific and they had it there (which is quite likely.) It's loosely organized and gives a hidden treasures feel. Just a "heads-up", though, they, unfortunately had to do away with their dressing rooms, so you can't try things on, but they have tried to accommodate by giving in-store credit with intact tags and your receipt within a specified amount of time.

I always find something but I have to really look. This store is over full, over priced. So hard to shop here. They have carts but the carts dont fit everywhere. The whole place looks like it needs a good cleaning.

Love the prices but getting help took forever. Long line at the one checkout, cashier friendly. Lots of staff standing around doing nothing. Needs cleaning crew and someone stocking who knows the size of clothing and where it goes.

Prices are more reasonable than at Goodwill. Since the facility is smaller, there is less inventory. Still, this is my go-to choice. * Be prepared to leave with dusty hands if buying dishes.

My family and I have always loved this DAV but since the new managers have taken over its not worth the prices nor the customer service. The people are rude besides the little lady who has been there for years, we adore her she is the sweetest. The prices have raised over 100% and for a thrift shop the prices are comparable to Walmart. A halloween costume cost as much as one at walmart with rips and tears and doesnt even have the full costume. After this shopping experience you have definitely lost a family of customers.

I have been coming to this DAV for years and it is constantly changing I like how they have it nice and organized now but it seems like they more racks and shelves to put items on then actual items and the prices of some of these items are sometimes ridiculous but for the most part it's not too bad .

I LOVE this DAV! Best one in Wichita! 2nd best is 47th and Seneca. Worst is Seneca and Douglas. But this place always has good finds. I always find cute stuff for my son and I can always find things that will resell in no time. Unlike all these other bad reviews, I will give them 4 stars. I found a pair of like new shox there for $3.58 my size, really white like new, sold them for $40. Men's Jordan's $15, sold them for $50. You just have to look, and it takes a lot of time to look through this big store, but well worth what you find, and the prices are awesome. Only complaint is, if you keep the same stuff for months, donate to some poor people. I do see some of the same stuff going in there, and those Adidas tennis skirts, geeze mark them down from $30! Someone might buy them. Otherwise, great store. And to all the people saying its dirty, its not that bad. And you can't expect a donation place that pays minimum wage to be spotless like a kohls. Come on now! I'm sure you wouldn't want to clean and scrub for $7/hour.

Ghetto, dirty, old... But AMAZING. I bought a beautiful bed side table for 6 dollars! Everything is so cheap and in good condition.

Prices are a lot more reasonable than Goodwill. Not as big a selection as GW but thats because the stuff moves out quicker due to the lower prices.
