Goodwill is a great place for donations. The store is pretty decent but things go fast. Dont expect something to remain there while you wait for a paycheck. Dropping off is pretty hassle free. Getting into their parking lot is a challenge. I recommend coming at.this location from southbound South Dakota Avenue and doing a right turn. The left turn from South Dakota is impossible with all the traffic from the nearby Costco.

I dropped items off for a donation on Oct 31. It was late and rainy and there were 3 gentlemen there who quickly unloaded my car. They were friendly and efficient! Wanted for say thank you to them! I had a long day at work and was exhausted from moving, they made that trip a delight and easy, thank you!

Purchased online from this location. The staff was amazing on checking the condition of the item after purchase, and as an added service on their end, they sent a few extra close-ups even after I had purchased, which was not necessary, but so appreciated that they thought to do that. Above and beyond service, and extremely customer-service oriented.

I was there for clothing… but I can never pick out clothing in a thrift store, so I left with books. The store was well organized though. I tend to be a bit uncomfortable buying items out of thrift stores. I didn’t care much for the clothes. But there were other items in the home section were really nice. Everyone was nice in the thrift store. Even when I gathered a cart full of books and then realized I couldn’t use my clothing voucher on books😬😅

Excellent location for dropping off things that can be resold. Not such a good shopping thrift store, which surprises me. Not many children's clothes, a bit scruffy, and clothes aren't sized for adults. Could be a big money maker for Goodwill, since it is in the city if they up their game.

Big store, lots to sort thru quality and not so much. You currently still can't try clothes on and ONLY have 7 days to return which seems just crazy for those who have a 25+ minute drive to get there which is almost everyone. So be scrupulous when purchasing. Otherwise nice staff and pretty clean & organized.

I love the staff minus the Assistant Manager she lacks good customer services. I don't like shopping in there when she's there. All the employees are very knowledgeable when it comes to what's available. This store is always nice and presentable. VERY CLEAN even the bathrooms. Keep up the good work! April M. Usually get in and out pretty quickly. Usually find something close to what I went in looking for. They don't seem to carry much big furniture items anymore. Workers don't seem happy, but they are pleasant

Super easy to donate. Pull up to the loading dock in the back and there will be staff to assist. It might be a little busy on weekends, but what can you do? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Store was well laid out and not too cluttered.

A couple weeks ago I dropped off some clothes and blankets - i was using a reusable shopping bag that I wanted to keep so I asked in a really friendly manner if it wasn't too much trouble to get it back. The employee scoffed at me and said "well we're not THIEVES" and then handed me the bag. It just seemed unnecessarily hostile and rude and totally unjustified. I've always been a big supporter of Goodwill and will continue to be, but I do think it's important for the employees that are working there to learn how to deal with others in a professional and courteous way - especially if they hope to move forward into other roles in the workforce. I know that job training is a big component of the organizations mission, and is really important in helping some people get on their feet during difficult times. I have personal experience with benefiting from GW services and have seen what the organization did for people I care about. The employees inside the retail store were very friendly and helpful!

This is the cleanest, most organized goodwill that I have EVER been to. Every time I come, I can find quality clothes for work or free time. Pair it with a trip to Costco's food court, and you have a perfect Saturday afternoon!

There aren't a lot of thrift stores in DC, so just having this Goodwill around is great. The location is not very convenient, unfortunately. For being one of the only Goodwill's in the area it also is not that big. But for all its downsides I do appreciate that it is around and I tend to be able to find clothing items whenever I come. The fact that there is a dressing room is a huge plus. They also have a decent furniture/household goods selection.

Good store. Setup could be better. Everyone filing in always knocks into me I I'm.lpokomf at men's t-shirts because it's in a narrow walkway with barely room for them to go by. So anything else is ok but I can't look at those without constant interruption which is annoying as all get out

Came to do a fairly quick donation. Disappointed when intake workers were pretty careless and tipped over a whole crate of another donor's books into a puddle. Folks just kind of stood around and watched as more and more books slid down this heap into the water. Also very reluctant to provide a receipt for donation. All that said, process was fairly quick compared to some other drop off centers.

I stopped by to make a few donations. Lots of staff around to help. The parking lot was busy, but it was large enough to accommodate all of the patrons on a Saturday afternoon. Great place to shop or volunteer.

This is my favorite thrift store in the DC/Maryland area. Although they do price items for the home a little too high, there are still some great deals. As far as clothes, they have tons of name brand items from Tracey Reese to J. Crew.

Good place for a city that is getting extremely expensive to live in. The staff, from the maintenance crew who has done a great job at keeping the place functional and clean to the floor staff who is always helpful and attentive, the place is relaxing and of course affordable. I am writing this review for the multiple positive interactions I had with the Donation Center. And to balance out the 1 star review left by the privy Kent B59. Kent left 1 star because they did not update their hours during a world wide pandemic. I actually went down their during this period with a car load of stuff, only realize they were close (we both could have called to check). But I didn't leave a 1 star review for a non-profit that works to benefit so many. Good will, thank you for your work and stay safe.

The shopping environment here is very good, and there are many kinds of clothes. I wear XS or S size clothes, I rarely find suitable clothes in other discount stores, but at goodwill, I find a lot of clothes that I can wear, and the quality is very good! The fitting room here is very big, and the staff is very nice. They are very hardworking and have a good attitude. I like it very much!
